Token properties

FYP Tokens are ERC20-based Ethereum tokens. Each and every FYP Token is divisible, equal to each other and has exactly the same qualities, properties, and characteristics. After the ICO period ended, no additional FYP tokens have been created or ever will be.

Each FYP token equally participates in the profits generated by the Flyp.me (https://flyp.me)’s exchange fees. Owning FYP Tokens will enable the Contributor to also participate in the policy-making of Flypme including proposing new features and voting for key features. More benefits will be added as the venture unfolds.


Benefits of FYP Tokens
50% of the net profits generated by Flyp.me (https://flyp.me) will be distributed to FYP token owners in proportion to their ownership of tokens.

Owning FYP Tokens will enable the FYP owners to also participate in the policy-making of Flyp.me including proposing new features and voting for key decisions. Anyone holding FYP tokens will be able to propose new features. FYP token owners with a certain amount of tokens will also be able to vote for certain key decisions. More benefits will be disclosed at a later stage.

Flyp.me (https://flyp.me) will distribute the net profits every three months (aka payout) after the end of the ICO. Following the first two payouts, the timing of the payout will be voted by the token owners in line with our commitment to participatory policy-making.

To receive payout you should store the tokens in ethereum wallet in which you are the only one to have access to your private keys.

Once you create your account do not forget to backup your private key otherwise if you loose it
you are fucked because you want be able to access your coins/tokens.

I'm a big fan of SYS too! I think that you are right: Blockchain Foundry released Blockmarket 1.2.2 (https://flyp.me) to handle errors in countries where the service is not available.

Currently the regulations in US are a bit unclear as different departments have different opinions on crypto so we are waiting for the tide to settle a bit before we possibly make it available in the US.

Should the payout be smaller than the cost of the transaction, the payout won't be sent. For example, if the payout for an address X is 0.00001 ETH, the payout won't be sent as the cost of sending the payout is higher than the payout itself.

I just saw this thread so I figured I'd try out flyp.me. I have to say, I really like the interface and ease of use. I could easily see flyp.me becoming one of the top exchanges. When Binance...?

It's fast, secure and as simple as sending a transaction. If you are new to this, here are instructions:

• Go to Flyp.me (https://flyp.me) and select the crypto you want to exchange from (you have) and the crypto you want to buy (you get).
• Enter the destination address where you want to receive your crypto and select amount.
• Double check and click "Exchange".
• Now your order has been created. You will see a wallet address to which you will send the currency you want to exchange.
• Go to the wallet where you store the cryptocurrency you want to exchange and paste this address into the corresponding field to send.
• Make sure you send the correct amount and save the order code for future reference.
• As soon as your transaction is broadcasted to the blockchain, your exchanged crypto is sent straight to your wallet. It will arrive as soon as the minimum number of confirmations is reached.

The hardCapHash 0x3c11d870f0fc097ed9a45ae2a08b6557f80822501686b7376fef5590f1527599 was a hashed number encrypted by a key, so nobody could discover the value without the key, also the contract didn't know it.
The contract had a function to decipher the hardCap, setHardCap(uint256 _hardCap, uint256 _key). If this function was correctly executed with the correct key the contract public variable hardCap was updated with the correct value and everybody would have been able to see the hardCap.

Quarter 1 has had a lot of ups and downs, but I think trading will pick back up this quarter. I hope to see a really great payout in June. I expect that the upcoming bonus announcements are going to help get more users involved which should be really good.

Personally, I really like the idea of having passive income like payouts in profit sharing. That's why this project caught my interest. Highly recommend cryptocurrency 'instant exchange'. Smoothest customer service experience so far between competitors Changelly and Shapeshift. It definitely appears to be recovering. I buy a lot during relative lows and I never regret it. The market will never crash for good. It always goes back up. That's the beauty and where the profit lies. It's very advantageous unless you panic sell lol. I haven't been involved with voting, but it is a really good feature. I'd like to learn more about it as well. However, I have to say the payouts are definitely the best feature. 50% of profit goes to them. The payout happens every quarter.

Profit sharing is such an underutilized feature.

I completely agree. It is one of the features I look for first in a project because it gives back to the investors. It is really great passive income.

I think these sites will eventually realize what kind of money they are missing out on. It seems really dumb to me that they would ban it. I expect they will lift those bans in the future. Personally I think this bear market will continue for a month or so, but by 6 months people will start to see the benefits of blockchain and decentralization causing all worthwhile projects like this one to flourish.

I used flyp.me the first time for exchanging ETH to BTC. Everything worked fine but the transaction fee of the initiated transaction is set to 0.02$ and that's a bit frustrating.

I have a request for an addition to the FAQ of your website (assuming good faith).

When people exchange BTC into an altcoin on flyp.me, and due to a transaction fee spike the transfer takes several hours or days until confirmed, Flyp.me will not conduct the exchange (with the current exchange rate) but instead refund the transfer, but subtracting high transaction fees.

I think this is a consequence of the "fixed conversion rate" concept, but I think this should be communicated more clearly. In your FAQ, only the case when you send the transaction late is mentioned. But if you send it in time and it won't confirm early, then you also will get refunded, resulting in a loss of large transaction fees.

There is also no mention of a deadline for the confirmation, so you could use RBF or double spend it.
