there is more growth and maturity every day, we can not deny that. but this doesn't mean this year it will come to full maturity and become stable. altcoins are still pretty much pump and dumps and nothing has changed on that front which means the same volatility more or less.
besides if you look at past 4 months of 2018 you can clearly see the volatility is still there, most altcoins lost more than 90% of their value and this won't magically go away in less than a year!

Bitcoin or any crypto currency market is always volatile and no one can predict accurate price or trend. We cannot assume 2018 as the stabilized year but I can say it is a year of more corrections and more ICO's launched which is a good sign for any kind of market to grow safely and steadily.

This market is still very young. I do not think that this year the market will mature. The formation period will be accompanied by variability for all assets, including for bitcoin.

I think for now we don't need markets regulated by governments, I think crypto is fine as is on free market but in the long run, government regulated markets will sprout one by one.

I think you misspelled your title. Do you mean to stay stability year? If yes, then the answer to your question is NO. Haven't you already seen how much the market has collapsed since the starting of the year and how much money people have already lost. In no way it is a stable year and you can never expect this market to ever be stable. See, the majority of the stakes of most of the coins are held by their owners and they keep playing with it. So one cannot even expect stability in this market ever. If you want stability, you should perhaps look elsewhere.

The article is really good and informative and it's truly written over there that if the government and other regulating bodies controlled the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies by making some norms and regulation then you are going to see the volatility will be low and even the momentum will be decreased to a certain extent which will rise only when there is a big event or news being released.It may bring the maturity but the potential of giving the unexpected big earnings will be decreased.

every prediction certainly has different statements but expected the positive things that are going to happen in the market later coins. increases gradually that's what awaited at this time to make a big improvement against crypto for this year.

Bitcoin price in 2018 can be quite stable, there is little change and for me it is not significant enough. Compared to the year 2017 Bitcoin prices have not shown a drastic decline and also a significant increase. So we still hope that there will be a much more positive news that could mention that prices will increase. There are lots of opportunities for bitcoin price to grow up to the peak. The value is expected to be minimum of $40K this year. Lets compare to last year. Just see the value of Jan 207, it was $1000 on January 2017 and  in December 2017 it was at $21K. When compared last year, we might have double the rate we had last year. The big bankers and wall Street traders actually entered the market last year, just not openly as it now surfacing all over the news. That does explain partly the boom and all the new instruments introduced towards the end of last year (futures especially).

I wouldn't categorized it a stability year, with so much FUD and a lot of countries setting the tone of what could be this year (tighter regulations, bans) so this year for me would be very unstable and tumultuous.

However, we have seen how bitcoin is very resilient, we may be seeing a crisis, because the market really went down so hard in the last 3 months or so. I don't agree with this, the volatility of a decentralized crypto will never going to decrease until it's total supply is mined.
In case of bitcoin, till now around 4.2 Million bitcoins are left to reach the total supply and after that the price will increase gradually but the volatility will decrease with time because of the fixed supply.
However centralized currencies will have some different scenario as compared to decentralized digital currencies.

At the beginning of this year it's been a very frustrating season, and maybe just maybe we'll going to see the greener pastures in this coming months. This is something impossible to happen as all the crypto currencies are having volatile nature which will keep on changing the market value of the coins often.

There was a fall of $1000 again which was followed by a half rise again. As a result, the investments in Bitcoin again started increasing. These are the reason people like Bitcoin for. There is never going to be a big loss as long as you do not sell your coins. Hold it and just do not worry about the stability. The market will take care of it.

Yes. I am really scared this year, the price of the altcoin constantly going down. and the market became more bleak. many investors have left the market, this is proved by the market capitalization has declined quite deep in the past.

That is the right opinon. Crypto is not dying, it is not going down, it stabilizes now and big whales accumulate a huge amount of coins and less savvy investors are selling these coins to the whales.

In my opinion 2018 is the most volatile year, we still see price drops and panic. I hope that it will end soon because the market suffers from it and loses many investors

The crypto-currency market is still very young and like all young financial markets, it is still very far from stability. We will see a large number of sharp ups and downs in prices (hopefully more ups).

Waiting is really the only thing we can do now, selling is not really an option since I do not want to sell my coins for a bad price, buying more coins could be an option but I lack the money so my only realistic option is either to become a trader or to hold my coins.

The prices might be stable at the moment but i really doubt that it will continue like that, anyway, i am more than confident in that they will be more than possitive on the next few months, it all is becoming green at the moment and we just need to wait

This is correction year imo. For how long, no one knows as it could be until next month or even next week. This is crypto, who knows it could be by the next day. One major catalyst or many need to happen

So far prices in 2018 haven't been stable at all. Even news that isn't suppose to affect prices, accept them negatively. Alts suffer the most.
