Hello, I have been trading for some months now. I have had some losses but now I recovered and I have the same I started with. The hardest part for me is finding the right coins to buy. I have been around signals telegram groups and tried with some scanners, but havent had much success. What would you recommend?

Research coins to find ones with all the right stuff: solid dev team, solid community, a vision for the coin that sets it apart and will give it a reason to exist down the road. Just have this question in your mind: if most altcoins will bite the dust at some point, what would keep this coin from joining the dust heap?

I think it's better to buy tokens from the top 10. They are more likely to make a profit. this is my personal opinion. But you can buy and just cheap coins, maybe they will still grow up

I don't think signals telegram group will help. I also used telegram signal group before but I lost all my cryptocurrency by following the signals :)). To know which one is good coin to buy you need to use your knowledge and trading experience, it's not easy if you can't analyze the price chart. First you should consider which type of trader/investor you are. Such as long, short, day trader.

The main thing I personally consider as trader/investor is volume.
Volume can determine how demandable the coin is and on the other hand, most probably, the price will strike back if there a dip happens.
I always prefer top 25 coins/tokens in cmc for short (1 - 90 days). And I sometimes invest in low demandable coins as long-term investments (It can be up to 1yr or more).

I suggest you study on the fundamentals of the coin and not on Technical Analysis. I have been also from P/D groups and I can relate and understand what youre saying. Joining signals from pump and dump groups in Telegrams wont really give you huge profits but I find it with more higher risk of losses. Thats why I stopped it. Its better to buy coins on the basis of their fundamentals and importance or you can choose coins also from Top 1-10 in the coinmarketcap and wait for them to go up. They are worth holding for years and more likely to make a profit than the pump/dump coins.

Yes, I'm also not sure what is in the group a telegram any of it. they really are just the same as other ordinary investors only. needed is an analysis of coins and news as well as information which must be reproduced in order to increase the knowledge about the coins.

You have to be sure of it as most of those telegram groups are totally giving you ideas on what to invest but what you didn't know is that they are shilling their own coins. After you are convinced on what to invest you'll definitely going to be under the table and you'll get nothing in return. i find speculative trading too risky for me (just a personal opinion), havent been that good with graphs and whatnot, i find that i'm usually better at picking longer-term fundamentals (whitepaper, use case, team strength) and going in for the long haul.

Doing small research is required i agree but finding 100% legit project is not possible every time. we have to consider many things before choosing any coins to invest. sometimes blind investment will give us more profit but don't think it always works. Well, there are many important points to consider:

1) Solves a big problem/brings something unique to the market
2) It has few to no competitors at all
3) Strong team that succeeded in their past projects
4) Strong partenerships
5) Big investors behind (not mandatory, but a plus)
6) The project has a bold and long term vision behind
7) Is hyped (a lot of people talk about it)
8) Is a platform or a protocol as this have the highest potential long term

for sure, we can take a look at the market and see that coins is in red or green. and after we know what coin is in red, then we can analyze each of coins if it's down for a while, then there are a line that show to us so we can try to make a buy call. but sometimes, when the coin is at the red zone, it will try to increase so we need to analyze deeply so we can determine to buy or still watching the coin or we can move to other coins. I used this way when I want to buy coins but I don't have any clue in the market and finally, I can find the coin to buy.
