$10k is such a huge psychological pivot point... if it blows past $10k, there's no telling where it will go.

Since the second week of April Bitcoin price has been in the uptrend mode and has held above $7500 since then. I think there is a bullish trend formed which means the trend will continue till we make a new high of about $12K since the end of January 2018.

Due to fluctuations the price of Bitcoin is reduced to $9,400 and now it's rise to 9500$. This is minor fluctuations in bitcoin price. The price will get back to $9,800 by tomorrow.So just hold your bitcoins and don't sell it at low price.If you have money buy more bitcoin ,when the price reaches $10,000 you will get some profit.

Everyone know the Bitcoin future this move higher in future Many experts are said it will pump in constantly but some dump also possible. That’s right most of the experts have no idea what’s actually happening or what may happen but everyone should do their own analysis and should trust them, people shouldn’t depend or get excited on an “Expert’s” opinions or predictions. People should be serious about it do your homework and you’ll have wider views about the market

Bitcoin will increase above 10K, no doubt about that. Though it's hard to predict, whether it will soon pass 12K or have another drop first. You never can tell, but just keep believing the price will increase. And now with lots of positive news, it's obvious in Bitcoin will rise much higher than it did in the past months.

I don't think bitcoin is going up fast at the moment. There may be a position of 10 K before the end of the month. In April, bitcoin rebounded a lot, and some people began selling bitcoins to put profits in their pockets.

Bitcoin is going strong and during the 2nd half of the year it is slowly gaining momentum hopefully this time slowly and more stable. Trading is looking good as coins price are also gaining and moving up

I am agreed with you @Salman. But i believe future is always uncertain. So there remain some uncertainty.
But being optimistic, the running trend is saying that BTC will rise more in coming days.

Yes. A little more time and patience by the traders will lead to price stability as long as they hold instead of opting to panic selling. Once the vendors increase the popularity of it will increase and it will be widely used just like fiat. By the end of 2018 there should be At least a 1.5 fold.

High hope and strong believe? In the market? No way.

The only thing I believe in is Bitcoin's fundamentals, and everything else (the market mainly) points at speculation. Don't forget that we're still in a time where one announcement can shake things up badly, and this alone is something that prevents me from becoming excited, and it helped me go through everything a lot more effectively. I seriously wish I started like that when I first entered the market years ago, but we all start as noobs and learn from mistakes. I'm happy that my conservative nature is more than helpful for me when it comes to holding my coins firmly, and it would be a good thing if others did that too.

Predicting Bitcoin price is not possible, I read many analysis each day but no one succeeded to predict the price for the next day.
Even when experts try to logically analyze charts, they don't succeed to to make a correct predictions.
Bitcoin is too volatile and many factors affect its price.

Seeing it's price today,  absolutely bitcoin is on the surge now. People are speculating that bitcoin will have a huge recovery at the start of 2nd quarter until end of the year. Hopefully to see btc price at $20k again as it happen last year or more.

It seems there is a correction now before hit 10k (and 800 usd ETH). I was wait for this correction and sold my ETH. And now time to re-buy in withing few days we will hit 10k BTC and 800 usd ETH and go higher...  ::)

This week should be a week that we should watch carefully as most of the strong investment decision are going to be made this week for the next price directions. Bitcoin has made some gains of recent and we may need to see to it that the upwards price movement continue as we hold what we have instead of selling.

I don't see anything new this week. everything so far has been pretty much the same as before. I was expecting a different trend but it is the same sideways between $10k and $9k with an occasional $8800 as the very bottom of this sideways movement.
the important time to watch was when price was lower and everyone else was looking elsewhere. meaning when price reached $6k levels and the real investors were buying bitcoin not now that it is obvious time for rise.

Seeing that we are under 9500 again make me not feeling good , we might still go for 11000 but probably that will delay for the end of this month or in June .

But also under 9500 can be just small retrace for loading up before shoot , But I doubt . Dam I just dream when we will see 15000+ again .

Well, you must be ready for every possibilities since this market moves unpredictable. The price is under $9500 again but it doesn't mean we will experience big dumps again, this might be a short dump and a preparation for a higher profit in the future.

Although the correction continues to occur in the crypto market, I will still remain confident that bitcoin still has a chance or potential to move higher. Bitcoin prices so far are still hesitant, imo. I think we'll see the next increase and probably will be close to $15k at the end of the month.

Yes it will but currently there is a price correction coming up on all the crypto currencies the oricenof bitcoin again down to $9500, but soon the price may bump again so the people who want to invest on crypto currencies then grab it now.

It wasn’t just a correction. We have been experiencing a bearish trend for quite some time now, but it’s fortunate to see that the price has gone up. Since the price has been down, the price may still increase for the upcoming days. Still a long way before hitting about $15K again or another ATH. Anything could still happen at this point, so we should still expect the best and the worst.

You should look at the dip as a healthy pullback. We're at 9300 right now, that's around a -6% decrease after the previous high (9900), not too bad when you see that we're still in positive numbers in the 1w charts. And there's also a chance that we might go down to high 8k's (8900-8800) so if you're not feeling good about the current price, then you might want to stop looking at the charts for a while   :D
 

Yes, this is the funny thing people have. Of course it is correct and right to have hope and believe, but only in your own strategies, your own decisions, your own trades. But you cannot hope and believe in price simply for nothing. Fundamentals are what we seek our strength in, and you can always see good signs coming from almost every angle of Bitcoin. Its technology,,, Its use,,, its pure value as seen not just by us but even by the traditional finance more and more (just see the thoughts of IMF recently).

I've said this before and many other people have too. No one remembers the guy who got it wrong, but everyone remembers the guy that gets it right. A expert could make a bold prediction that Bitcoin will reach $100k next year, and if it happens he will be hyped up and praised and people will likely follow his future predictions and he may even make a little bit of money off of this. However, if he isn't correct then everyone forgets that he made that prediction and it's no longer spoken about. It's a win-win for "experts".

Plus, we have to remember that everyone invested in Bitcoin who is giving "expert" advise is likely trying to manipulate the market without using their own spending money. We've seen in the past how "Whales" can influence the price of Bitcoin, and experts giving their advise are effectively getting the masses to sell or buy and they are manipulating the market without using any of their spending money.

That's what BTC flagship is actually unpredictable correctly and accurately but you can see an easy rise or fall in the BTC he can climb that high fast and vice versa that cryptocurrencies have been on the internet for so long,Actually it would be easier to ride if everyone hodl on the wall far above 20K then we all push up by making the existing trend That's in my opinion ;).

Right, and it is one point where we just have to be very careful to watch out for as there is nothing anyone can predict would be the outcome of it. A lot of traders expected we will get to see a break out upward from the $10k but so far so good, it seems nothing is forthcoming. It is really strange though how the market is really behaving lately and even as traders, one would just need to be on the look out so as not to make the wrong decisions.

Actually, no one should even be expecting some pretty huge run any moment now as bitcoin would obviously end up doing what it like and going the way it prefers anyway but looking for a swift run upward with the level of uncertainty in the market is something no one should be expecting at all. We have all seen how previous days have played out with some unexpected outcomes and that is how bitcoin purely is and the whole cryptocurrency market as a whole; let's just hope we end up having a good movement upward for a while.

can't predict that it will run that slow until the end of the year remember the last November and December price surges, the price quickly jumps that ate all the resistance walls and negative news, it is too unpredictable to expect an exact and accurate outcome to expect we can just form a speculations and hypothesis but surprises will never cease to fail us.

Everything is still always going to be under a certain condition as 'MAY' since the market is pretty much volatile and no one really can tell what happens and what would not happen as time goes on. So far, the market is very complex and sometimes, even with some indicators, you just would not even get it right as traders and it is more like you expect the market to want to give less, and it ended up giving more, and vice versa. That is really brain draining as far as I am concerned.

No one predict the price of bitcoin, the price is not stable either it is increase nor it is decrease. After a long time the price is in increasing gradually. Hope it will continue in upcoming days. Like last year December this year also bitcoin will touch very high. Soon the price will touch $15000 and it will continue in the future also. Don't get panic when the price goes down, if dump occurs means again there will be a high pump occurs in the upcoming days.

well, longterm it will move higher, but short term it will be lower. We do not have enough volume at the moment, and the institution need a windows to enter in the market. But not at this price. So, be ready to see a huge dump shortly. This is an important factor to take into consideration. Volatility of BTC is not a legend.

Why? $9500 is a very good price as far as I know. Maybe we didn't get to $10K as everyone is really expecting. But the bull run last Fri-Sat was quite unexpected as well, resulting in bitcoin overbought that's why we found another retrace.

The good thing though is that it didn't bottom below $9K as we are seeing maybe consolidation and its trading sideways. For me its a good sign that we might re-test $10K in the next succeeding days and I hope that we can smash  this mental barrier and then the complexion of the game will change. Renewed interest, fresh blood pumping the market pushing the price to $11K. Let's wait and see.

My firsts Bitcoins I bought at ~60-70$. And I not believed that he will be cost 10k usd. Same as now people cant believe that BTC can be cost 100k. So everything is possible. But I agree with you. This experts just telling their minds. And if one of 100 minds will be right, everyone will say: This guy was right, he is genius". But in fact, noone dont know exactly. But if big people (Goldman Sucks, Tim Draper, Morgan, etc.) investing in crypto - thats mean, in long term we can see much more higher price.

Now the price of bitcoin is increasing gradually nowadays. The price is not much high and at the same time the price is not too low. Compare to previous months the price increase would make bitcoin investors happy. Due to insufficinet supply of bitcoin makes market dull but now the corrections are made so the price would increase. wow ,,, the price issue lately is still a hot potato in this forum. I think personally, bitcoin will have no trouble reaching its price this month if the market continues to pump prices and support for high bounced prices keeps coming. I think in this month we will exceed the price in the $ 15,000 figure if the resistance above $ 12,500 was made in the near future.

I think it also that price in the future will move go higher a lot of good news may happen. Yes if we differentiate the previous price upto day their is good will take place. Having a positive mind and hopes bitcoin will continue to move higher.

But I think the current pump happenings last week subsides by this week since looks like the BTC price go soar down a little bit and this one looks confusing to the other who can't afford to lose some money on short time period. But let's just assume that there will be upcoming pump that will be happen on future so that we will keep our positive mindsets towards the dumping situation.

I do not mean to be a pessimist but looking at the condition of the market for a while now, nothing serious should ever be expected. We may get to see a bullish trend if we can have a break upward from $10k and $11k, but this is something that we can only watch out to see how the trend is going to be acting like in coming days as there is really nothing we can tell now except to just wait and see how things will end up. Hopefully, we get to see this and even if we do not, we just blend in.

If this trend is what we call the bullish trend, then it may continue to rise for a couple of days or weeks. If bitcoin will continue to grow like that, then bitcoin is really up for something a big surprise and something new this year that's better than last year.

I think before Consensus 2018 (which take place in New York on May 14-16) Bitcoin will be grow again. Just few people wanted to dump rate, but they cant stop revolution. Ethereum published new version of their code update - Casper. So crypto-srping cointinue guys  :P

The more being positive in the market price can able to move higher. There is uptrend and downtrend and we cannot tell when it will totally fully recover. This is i think also bitcoin can big in this year.

The drop down a little bit is not new in bitcoin but this thing happen even a much better time of bitcoin. The price rise and a little bit it decrease and after that it again continue its journey to rise to a higher level. I think yes bitcoin will continue to increase but not totally fast as we expect it's ok if it's slowly to move higher but surely the increase. And I believe that market will recover  and it will have a higher price this year.

Yes it is already the bullish trend as the price already started to increase from $6700 and it reached to $9300 and is rising more. At some stages the price will be slow and at some stages the price will stop and at some stages the price of bitcoin will drop a little but it will be rising and will continue to rise as these things happen when the price go to any direction.

With the current event and news that affect bitcoin price to rise to end the month of april like bitcoin being considered compliant with Sharia law, US tax season has ended already, and a World Blockchain Forum conference held in Dubai may be one of the reasons why we experienced a spike until today. I think it will continue til the end of the second quarter that may put bitcoin in a good pricing tag already.

Bitcoin is going at the highest value this year because we have seen the highest price last year was about 23k dollar or may be 25k dollar. Whatever the price was but we have imagined that the demand of Bitcoin is increasing and the ration of the demand is more than that of the last year ratio so automatically we know that the price will increase at the highest possible value.

Bitcoin price is indeed fluctuating, its performance is consistent in the $9K level. This is a good sign indication that the market goes well. I am hopeful that the price will reach at $20K level, same as last year. Let us not lose our hopes in Bitcoin and continuously support it.

There are so many speculation that bitcoin value will appreciate higher this year as compare to what we saw last year because the adoption is and will be higher this year as compare to that of last year.

indeed if you look at a chart in a few years bitcoin prices continue to climb even though sometimes prices fall and eventually rise again. the likelihood that your prediction may be achieved depends only on the fundamental bitcoin itself.

Every year is very important for bitcoin, each year in which bitcoin is still alive despite the opposition of all banks of governments is another year in which bitcoin shows its defiance against the established economic system and it shows that is not going to be easy at all to kill it despite the huge efforts that banks and governments are doing to try to do so.

For few days the price is between $9k and $9.8k. you can say that in these the price is stable and there is no volatility. But is obvious that in the future the price will grow more because now the growth is normal and there is no big pump which ends in high dumping. It is good time for investment in bitcoin because of the increase in the price in the near future.

Bitcoin price affects with the people reaction because the more people demand for it the more the price will go high and will touch the peaks one more time. The price varies directly with the demand of people and that is what he graphs show that the demand as compared to the last year has been increased and make a straight line so this is the reason for the future high price.

Yes for sure but it takes more time before it continue to climb and sometimes there's a correction of price which is a little bit dump then after it will jump again and continue to surge. As long there's no negative news or any issues occur that will affect bitcoin growth rate surely it will grow again after the fluctuation. So all we need to do is to relax and put more patience on it instead of panicking in normal correction of the price..

Let's make it simple, the more people buys bitcoin it's value will increase. It didn't gain momentum for this moment as the price wasn't so good and it did cause a lot of extreme emotion again to the panic sellers.
Long term holders shouldn't worry with the current trend and price that we are going today. FUDs will never be stopped and bad news will eventually come but it's not always their time, good news and adoption will eventually come too that will lift bitcoin higher.

We should think positive about the future price of bitcoin. I feel that the price will grow more in the near future not rapidly but slowly and gradually. It is good for new investors. They can observe the market cap of bitcoin and the trend, so decision will be easy for them. Price is under $9500, but small fluctuation on daily basis occurs which is normal.

Yes as so many speculators believe that Bitcoin will continue to increase in value this year and that there so many adoption of Bitcoin and other crypro currency coming into the market and will push the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins in a positive direction.

The price of Bitcoin rebounded from strong support at $ 8250. I think if the price reaches 9100 and consolidates above it, then a new growth to 12000 will start from these levels. If the price breaks the last local minimum, it can reach 7600. Also in my opinion bitcoin can update records of maximum price till the end of this year.

It looks like these charts were spotted by the Mt Gox trustee team too  :P, so that they start selling the coins.  :D The price was really stable for some time but then i knew the price would go down because there was no particular direction and it could not even break the $10000 level and it tried to break a few times and then the Mt Gox took the grand opportunity to liquidate the funds they scammed from the users. ::)

I absolutely agree! But we also have to accept the fact that market swings any time or in a shorter period of time and it's uncontrollable. On the other hand, my support to Bitcoin does not stop here. I'm still positive and hopeful that Bitcoin can surpass from any complexities and can recover from any crash. It's not that hard for Bitcoin to survive because despite its limited adoption, it's continuously gaining not only popularity but also trust as more innovation are in development and more people are getting curious about Bitcoin. Price may rise and fall but bitcoin's ultimate purpose to bring quality of life, wealth, and contributing right attitude or values are indestructible.

Don’t be panic. This fall in the price is normal. There will be little bit corrections in the price because it is crypto world and we are mentally ready for such up and down. If we look at the previous few weeks graph we will observe that the big mishap has come to an end and now bitcoin is on the right track. Now it will increase slowly not with rocket speed.

I agree with your words as we see the bitcoin price will slowly increase  maybe the whales pockets are full already that's why the price of bitcoin increasing little by little (just saying). But although the bitcoin price is gradually rising i keep holding my bitcoin because I hope that aomeday the price of bitcoin is even higher.

The price is going down once again which prove to us that bitcoin is anything but stable, people need to learn that lesson bitcoin is not going to remain in a price for a lot of time that is why if you are a trader you need to be ready to close your position as soon as you see a very strong tendency for the price to go down, I know this means that you will need to watch the market almost all the time but that is the life of a trader.

I thought so too initially, but it seems that the dumps we have seen between $6000-$7000 are now again dictating the market. I'm not yet sure if this is meant to accumulate or play around with high leverage trades.

It seems that the speculation about the consensus event to boost the price has not resulted in anything. I didn't expect anything in the first place so there is no disappointment here, but the overall expectations were high.

I agree and at the moment price of bitcoin and many alts are currently in red I really dont know if some whales and bag holders are manipulating the markets and accumulating more coins for a price possible price increase after this years consensus as predicted by some experts that prices maybe double after this event.

Yeah I also admit the same. Daily transaction will be the source for increasing price. With the passage of time the price will increase due to investment ratio and the increasing demand for bitcoin. Now the growth is normal and people are mentally relaxed with their investments. The price is below $10k and it is the right time for new investors to buy bitcoin today.

Yeah if you look at the chart it looks like it happen in the history and some people keep saying that history repeats itself it is good to know that there is a big chance that digital currency will be rise again and the market will get stabilize again.

Not always the price of bitcoin move higher they have sometimes or day or month the price decreasing because people needs money so they sell their bitcoin to buy their needs but I believe the price become very high again because many people will invest again to bitcoin because they believe bitcoin become high price again and they can make more profit for sure if that really happen.

In my opinion its going to be traded between 6k-12k range.
There isno reason to pass over 12k. But if mtgox case gets closed for ever than we will start to talk for more higher levels.

I also hope that the price will reach to atleast $15k till the end of this year. Now a day the price is stuck between $8 and 9k and in not increasing as it is expected. No doubt the future is very bright of cryptocurrency. More people will put their money in bitcoin and due to big investments the price will also grow more.  Just wait a little more.

For sure, bitcoins will continue from the $8000 price to 12000 usd any time from now till august. I have faith that bitcoins is going to hit back at the 19000 usd price it was before 2017 came to an end.

Bitcoin can continue to move higher, because the demand for bitcoin will continue to exist. In short, short-term bitcoin is unstable, but for long-term value of bitcoin will continue to increase.

I disagree with idea that bitcoin is going to touch its previous all time high before the year ends, I know that some people want to see that price again as soon as possible and I would like to see that too but that doesn't mean that I will let my desires blind me, we're probably not going to see that price until the next year or maybe we will need even more time.

Hmmm well you have point in your idea but we all know that bitcoin price are really unpredictable it always a chance to pump up again in the next few month, yes the price are continue to falling down and the chart price indicate a possibility to touch a $6k level but I believe it can recover faster just wait and continue to hold if you believe in bitcoin will shoot to the moon again.

Looks like the 9-10k mark is definitely a major resistance area for bitcoin. But once it breaks that resistance, we might see another bullish run up and past 20k not too long after.

After it broke that resistance, I think we will see 20k mark is a new resistance area. And after passing this milestone, the future of bitcoin is infinite.

Because whenever I'm thinking the possibility that bitcoin will interfere with us or bitcoin, all I use to think is that they will just add tax and a lot of fees that may be deducted from our earnings, It might affect the demand and supply of bitcoin and might make its value lower that expected.

Yes the fuds are playing a role in depressing the price of bitcoin and it will ot continue for longer time as they are not stronger than the bitcoin community. People will start to use bitcoin when they will need and they will invest in it for the future profit. Bitcoin will be there only way to interact worldwide for the payment of their dealings and this will make bitcoin a more stronger coin.

This question made me think about the market situation when few days ago the prices of Bitcoin fell and a sought of pessimism spread around. People were talking pessimism and about withdrawing their money but a slight rise in the price again made things normal and in my opinion, the market has started recovering from the down graph. Also if you are holding your coins, better hold them long for we are still to see the phase of prosperity.

In my opinion bitcoin investment needs patience and dare to bear the loss of the price downs. Reading this post hurts my feelings. I was expecting lot more from bitcoin around december 2017. Everything was clear as sky.. Every day we saw %5-10 increase. I was considering it to reach 50k, I still do but I am not that optimistic,

In the long term, every investor is bullish and the only people who get worried are the newbies who just feel the market should keep moving up or who are investing more than they can actually afford to lose in any case.

I do not see any kind of manipulation in the market, right now this is a fair price of bitcoin anyone that paid 18k simply paid too much for their bitcoin it is that simple and they should have thought a lot better what they were doing but when we are in the middle of a mania many people do not really take the time to think since they fear that if they do not buy now they are going to miss their chance of becoming rich.

From the deep fall it takes little time to move forward, all that happening with the market generates a panic state among the users. In specific we don't know when the price increase is gonna happen yielding profit to the investors as well the holders of bitcoin. Price increase is promised, but not the time period to attain.

To surpass the last year highest price is unpredictable because it's very high. As of now bitcoin price are not still recovering. Continuing moving higher is not true because bitcoin is too volatile it goes up and down.

But for the moment i'm not sure that bitcoin values will rise higher, because i see in early 2018 until now the growth of bitcoin values did not show any significant improvement.
