Quite simply, if Bitcoin falls below $6000 then yes, if it doesn't then no. ETH's price is driven more by the overall market than it is by what is actually going on with ETH itself.

With current situation that the market is more sensitive to bad news rather than good news I think it is possible ETH will hit $400, this phenomenon is quite complicated to analyze what is the true stories behind this.

Actually if seen from the growth it, should Ethereum (ETH) be able to compete with the price of Bitcoin (BTC) in the future. Moreover, many factors have now become important support in the scope of Ethereum.

It smells to be a manipulated growth from some experts prediction. Usually after 2 or 3 day from bad news of exchange hacked the price of crypto back to normal and going up again. But now i see marketcap of crypto down, so possible price of ETH going back to $400 again, but after that the price will be bullish again.

well it does not rule out that the price of ETH can touch that price. in fact, for now, the ETH price has actually touched $ 400. can be said that this decline is the most severe this year. hopefully there are developments as soon as possible.

Price of ETH is now around 475 $ and if BTC continue to fall down from 6400 $ where is at this moment then it is realistic to expect that ETH will go down also. So main question is how low BTC can go, respectively where is the bottom. I've had enough of it why do people keep asking do you think this will go up or down? Isn't that annoying? Keep asking questions that even everyone might doubt to think that and nobody knows what will it become since we're no fortune teller or some kind. This literally a nonstop thread with so many identical isues and questions that nobody knows good luck with that.

Why there are so many people who are happy of the fall and going to buy more? Are there so much people with free money which they can invest? For example I am not, this fall is very stressful to me, the fist of all it was unexpected and te second thing here it happen exactly in the moment when  I need some money to cash out,  but current price is too unattractive to me and who knows how much I will need to wait to it come back to 600$?

ETH hit 300 USD plus last month so it could be possible that it will also hit that market price. It is really possible since many are investing on that time and probably are selling it right now that is why the ether market price has drastically drop from 700 USD down to 480 USD as of this moment. This is just normal and if i had only some money to invest then this time is the best time to invest in ether and other crypto like bitcoin, ripple, neo and other altcoin.

Presently, ETH is trading below $500 and so the possibility of it going down lower is still there which means lower than $400 is even possible. Whether it will hit or not is what no one can tell since we obviously cannot predict the future unless to just accept whatever comes.

Eth would be hard to predict yet, but there is a slight chance and possibility that it could go lower than that from the look of things. I think ETH will go down to 400 dollar because last two days it was totally dump in the market. But it is maintain a 500 dollar to 600 dollar so this will grow soon and many investors are buying this current dip may be end of the month this will reach above 700 dollar. to be honest it depends on the circumstances of bitcoin 'cause Eth always follow after the fluctuation of bitcoin since whales always bathing in the market ,   but there's a possibility it will stay under $400 on this down trend  , which the bottom price as well of ETH , unless if some holders continue to dump more because surely  bitcoin value will definitely continue fall and for sure eth will follow again on the movement of bitcoin.   

I think ETH will go under 350 USD this time. Almost two months ago ETH went to 370 USD, BTC was 7K at that time. By following the red trend, I assume btc will go under 5K USD, and ETH will go under 350. We are surpassing terrible time of cryptocurrencies

Scary for those who have invested above that price. But then again, you don't lose money if you are not selling so why worry? And besides its another buying opportunity and just hold on it as long as you can.

Ether was trading below $400 in march/april this year.  I will not  be surprise if it touch down  on $400 or below again.  One thing that is sure however is that ether will always rise in price to it's inherent value.

ETH has appreciated over 150,000%. Ordinarily, if it a commodity, everyone should scream "inflation". Yet in reality, it is indicative of inflated value. So if it falls below $400 it won't be strange.

It is a really great opportunity to purchase some coins, with the Korean exchange hack, the market has taken a dive and hopefully it will recover in the coming weeks, it is really sad to see another hack but when will these exchanges take security seriously. The moment i heard about the hack i offloaded all my ETH and now i have to enter the market again before recovering. ;)

Normally cryptocurrencies price should not be correlated to each other but most of the time, it just follows the bitcoin price, and I agree with you if BTC will drop under $6000, ethereum price will drop under $400 unfortunately.

But from my point of view Ethereum would hold its $380 level, if $400 is broken, these are just my personal views.

I never really understood the reason for this correlation, but it's very evident that it exists, so I agree with you. If bitcoin continues to go down, ethereum will definitely touch $400 or go even lower. Absolutely and a shit ton further down too. It's easy to forget that it was sub $10 before the ETF denial and that's what really kickstarted it. When you throw in the SEC coming down hard on ICOs then it's not a coin I'd be too confident in, but none are exactly inspiring these days.

Right, $400 Ethereum and $5000 Bitcoin is too much stressed for all of us. I still remember last year that I opened a thread when bitcoin breaks the $5K barrier and everyone has very happy and from then on the price soars up to that December frenzy. However, we really need to stick with the market because selling is not a good idea at this point.

This year have actually been severe for all altcoins but projecting 100usd  for ethereum is just slim possibilities maybe 350 and then the trend will pickup again but if it keeps going down its likely investors and users will look other way

Since the market is so unpredictable nowadays, I think I am not sure whether it will go $400 or not. We may not know when will the bears are continuing to pull it down. It seems they are taking advantage of the recent South Korean exchange that was being hacked. They are targeting a low price before they would hit the buy button. I dont think so, ETH can not break the 400$ point. In my opinion, if the ETH price go down less than 400$, the ETH miners will shutdown the PC because the price is not enough to support ETH transaction. ETH has the balance between the miners and  the real market.

Well, the SEC just gave ETH the reprieve it was looking for and declared it was decentralised enough to avoid their scrutiny. That reduces potential doom rather radically. I wonder which of its little ICO children will be hammered with the securities tag.

This is can be happen, because in the daily chart ETH look still down trend. But i prefer to use fundamental analysis to predict the price , according to fundamental analysis the price of ETH will reversal and going up because of good news that ETH is not a security that announces by SEC.

Ethereum can get to $400 if the dipping in price is not halted. There has been steady decline in price for the past one week which has taken a chunk off the market price. We have seen $489 this week. In a speculative market any price is possible.

I am actually looking forward to between that range in the next few days and for those who keep saying it would not, I really want to ask them if they actually have been able to see the future to know if it will or not. ETH is still in a downtrend and until we break out of that downtrend before anything can be possible but for now, the only thing the ETH market is speaking is lower value until further notice.
