I came across a quote made by someone on this forum which goes like,'An open mind is one of the best assets when it come to cryptocurrency'.
 This quote got me thinking, to make bitcoin (cryptocurrency) grow everyday in relation to clearing all misconceptions people have, we need to share our little knowledge about bitcoin on this forum. Sharing of  knowledge will create an atmosphere for people to be open minded and also help newbie investors to understand the crypto world and the market. I realized there is quite a great number of very helpful people and resources on this forum.
 What do you guys think? Do you agree with me?

Yes. The ongoing development of bitcoin and crypto shows that it not only derives from its profitability but also brings many benefits and effects to the contemporary economy. Bitcoin is increasing its reputation and prospects for future trends.

people need to want to open their minds first before anything you say or do can change their views of bitcoin and the technology. and if they already have an open mind then the "knowledge" is already out there to be found and learned, you just have to search for it. for example you can go to bitcoin wiki or other proper sources such as some of the books that are written like the Andreas Antonopoulos book called Mastering Bitcoin and learn more.
a forum is just a place to share your opinion on the matter, discuss things, or ask questions about things you didn't understand. it is not a place to learn the basics in my opinion.

The more that we as instigators discuss the perks and benefits of cryptocurrency on this forum and in our lives, the more others will slowly catch on and realize the potential that cryptocurrency has in many industries. The term will grow to become something that all people are comfortable with rather than fear, but this all starts with increased discussion from us, who are the ones who are already familiar with cryptocurrency concepts. It seems like people know of crypto, but not about crypto. We as a community can change that.

I agree with you if we think positive then the results we can be positive also so that we will be more confident and more understanding again about cryptocurrency further with positive thinking.

this is a good approach and as they say you have to spread the knowledge but at the same time you must have the right knowledge to want to teach others.
for instance these days if you visit the beginners board or even in this board, people sometimes create topics to "spread their knowledge" but they are more misleading than helpful.

True that! Bitcoin is attracting investors on a daily basis due to the recent profits, which are huge, made by many investors in the recent times. What now matters is, not going by the rumours on market progress which has no base. To avoid this we need to share important and valuable facts with suggestions on public platforms and different forums. The suggestions has to be genuine by the ones who are already excelling in this market. No baseless and pointless information should be posted to misguide the new investors and incur losses.

I fully agree with the author, for many people the digital market is a dark forest. We need to help those people who are open to this information.

Open mind is needed for any new concept and especially for something like crypto. Some of my friends have already labelled crypto and thus our conversation ends before we start.

yes that is true,bitcoin keeps growing by the shared knowledge through this forum and between friends on the social media.But most people sill don't have clear idea about what is bitcoin because they are telling the people to invest on bitcoin if you want rich but there is no guarantee that we can make money from crypto investments.SO share the knowledge that what is bitcoin not as n investment.

I agree. Most of the FOMO generated during every climb is attributed to the internet and news outlets sensationalizing the massive price rise. Without these knowledge and reports, it wouldn't even be possible to reach where we are right now. As of now, not really 100% of us understand bitcoin. We keep doubting it everyday while instead we should support it and bring more people in.
We could help each other by suggesting books, writing articles and explain to others for dumb questions that they ask.

This is bitcointalk forum and as usual how does a forum works? it's also about sharing not only little knowledge but even the deeper ones that are interested of knowing. From blockchain, trading, mining, services and other stuffs that you can excel are being shared here and it's for free. This is why this is the best forum of all and although some same forum are existing and  building their community, no forum can beat bitcointalk. But also someone who's skeptic can also share his thoughts here that can bring FUD to some.

Bitcoin became more popular because of us, because of our testament regarding on the huge potential of bitcoin that help it to become more attractive to the people. And that's what also this forum serve like and that's why this forum was made up and that was to serve as the main forum for sharing ideas and knowledge.

Just make sure you educate yourself, before you take on these guys/gals, because they come prepared with their attacks. If you have done proper research, then you can kill most of their silly arguments/lies.

I totally agree with this quote because everyday is an opportunity to earn knowledge with bitcoin. Well it's not just about the money that you need to earn but most importantly you need to gain information and ideas. I think it is the actual goal of this forum. To share knowledge regarding Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. But as time passes, people who are here now have different reasons. Either they're curious about Bitcoin or someone told them that there's money flowing here. Now this place is more populated by the latter. Yeah its good thing to share the knowledge in almost every other field out there. Whether it is the crypto currencies or something else but one thing is really sure about it, sharing good ways or positive news about it will always help it. Not just this, it can let people know many different things about the crypto currency, they can explore it themselves and can get big things done for them. There is also an excellent quote by G.K. Chesterton that is pretty similar: “But I think he thought that the object of opening the mind is simply opening the mind. Whereas I am incurably convinced that the object of opening the mind, as of opening the mouth, is to shut it again on something solid.”

I believe the ultimate object here is to be open-minded enough to be able to accept where you are wrong and need to grow., and closed-minded enough when you realize you have the truth and those opposed to you/your beliefs are neck-deep in lies and deceit. This is applicable, not only to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, but across all spheres of life.

Obviously here on BCT, we are all focused in the crypto-realm, where we see people looking in from the outside with constant criticism (cue Jamie Dimon). What we are looking for from them is an open mind to acknowledge the truth that blockchain technology has something to add to and benefit the real world.

Specially when it talks about cryptocurrency, they always think it was scam.  But  it can be change if somebody or everybody who believe in bitcoin share their knowledge  about it. I agree with you by all points. When I was talking about bitcoin outside of this forum I used to get that negative feedback, most of the time people were not open minded. They do not process information, just listen and have no clue what is going on, making a conclusion at the end with some very superficial thoughts that they have and that's it. Those who wanted to understand became a members of crypto society. Now some of them knows more than I do, just like you said they learned from sites, video clips etc.

We might think that educating our people in our community will help them so much since we are earning some of our shares in this forum and with these crypto currency, we can earn money by trading them but not all of us will be the same. In my place, not all of the people can use the computer and it not even familiar with the internet so I don't think we don't need to have this seminars since nothing will happen to them without some resources.

As far as I know, thinking will grow if someone is willing to accept what he will do. Because many people I've met I've told about bitcoin and some people can't accept bitcoin and instead look at bitcoin they will be trapped in their own thoughts and cannot grow in their understanding of bitcoin. Yeah, I think what you have mentioned is all right. I totally agree to this but we need to share it to people who is already an open minded because if not then they won't bother reading an article or any related informations about cryptocurrency.
