it will not end. The market is just bottoming out and this is an opportunity for us to buy more. Keep holding on and do not worry too much. The market will soon recover, and your altcoin will make you rich if it really has potential.

So your regretting on selling all of your coins in one swoop, I really think that is a sudden decision after gaining a decent amount in the cryptocurrency you are just giving that all away because the market is in a bear market, Well I think many are frustrated with the market of crypto right now but gaining knowledge and keeping your faith intact with your coins can get you more profit than the usual coins you had sold right now, In my opinion you should wait until the bull market crashes again.

Seems you are not current with trends in the industry because in recent weeks we have witnessed an appreciable level of surge though not as may have been expected by many but it doesn't fit into the picture you are painting. The idea of an end to crypto shouldn't be contemplated in the first place if I may add. The financial Innovation is in a self correction but it doesn't in anyway spell room.

Well, I hope you didn't spend 700k to buy those coins  ::)
Also it sounds your Portfolio is way too risky. You must have had lots of small Altcoins that are down 95-99%. I mean BTC is only down 66% roughly...

Anyway, now it is almost too late to sell. Unless you really care about those 24k... in that case you should cash out a bit.

It's not the end of crypto but it'll be the end of you in crypto world if you're going to sell them all to cut your loss :). You should know that there are so many rich guys are still holding all their cryptocurrencies or keep investing in cryptocurrency although they lost a lot maybe much more than you :). You should know that you can't earn all the time in this world ;)

Wow, thats major losses. However. Do not worry, as crypto has yet to reach it's peak. There is still a lot more to come. Just look at the fundamentals of use and development - it is clearly rising. Institutions are coming, and the new generation believes in cryptocurrency.

That's sad to hear. Cat you see cryptocurrency market is already recovering slowly? You had a big loss there. Hope you'll be able to put your remaining money on something profitable. I invest too but only $200 max. So as to prevent big losses. And always take profit, scalp capital every time.

Unfortunately, those who have not yet grasped the current situation of a speculative form in comparison with other corresponding perceptions that they may be suspicious or puzzled. The decline is only temporary and there is also a chance for the rest. ::) Most of them look at the endless trade that they forget the "value" of crypto.

You bought a pile of shit coins. Bitcoin is 3 times below its ATH you bag is 30 times.  In 10 years Bitcoin might be worth $1 million but you might end up empty handed holding a bag full of worthless shitcoins.

Nothing is end in this crypto ,their may be raise or fall in the market.I had meant that ,their may be a fluctuations in the price of cryptocurrency. And we can't describe it's the maximum raise in the price of cryptocurrency and after this the price will not increase or decrease. This is happening due to decentralised behaviour of bitcoin.

What? $700k worth of crypto's and now they are into $24k? Can you share what are the coins that you are holding? the market has been down since January so that's why the value of your coins went down.

You've lost a lot looking at the current value but if you will hold, you can retain it if the market goes up again.

I completely agree with you that each of us will get a good profit if you have patience and save your coins until the market is restored. Today, the low price of coins This is not a problem of projects, but primarily the result of a bad state of the crypto-currency market.

Just because you lost a lot of money, it doesn't mean that it's the end of crypto. You might have just bought at the wrong time or you were too late to sell your crypto before the bear market started this year. However, don't be worried about it because the crypto market will rise soon. Just hold and be patient.

in any case, the state of the market today is the result of manipulation of large holders of the crypto currency. It is generally not visible projects and coins, because among all the amount of crypto currency in reality there are a lot of promising and popular in the society.

We all are into holding as of now but sad to say you really need to wait base on you investment that is a big lost to carry and handle. Making to much question mark is really crazy to do. Also in my opinion yes hold and keep calm and wait for good results and that will come later or this year. We need a correction from crypto market but we need a good one and that is all up to the future investors of cryptocurrencies. So I suggest if your rich and invest again but one must ready for a lost of investment so you should really invest a fair amount.

I don't think it's the end of crypto. If you haven't sell your holdings, you don't loose your investments. Just hold whatever you have and over the time definitely you will see some definitive profits, given your portfolio is diverse.

Hold on your coin because there will be the recovery in the coming year, if you are impatient then the loss you will get.
All this is a bear market game that is quite a bit tense and was-was. Eliminate your worries and believe the crypto remains alive and gives you the good.

Listen mate! Do you recall the time you invest in crypto for the first time? How much did you invest? Small amount right and which grew with the passage of time and you had this portfolio worth $700k or $0.7 million which is a whooping amount of money. Just think if the rise can happen, the fall can also happen but this is a cycle and it keeps in repeating itself over and over again. Do not sell your coin and try investing in something physical once you re-earn for this is not the end yet.

indeed holding is a better choice than we have to sell to cut losses, because holding us only loses or the value of its assets decreases, but our assets will not be lost and we still have.

Can you call that as a non stable market when everything depends on the speculation? and you can't dude. Anything will never become a stable thing expect it will have backed by the fiat currency to create the stable value. I should remind you that the fact that crypto is so volatile even it's more volatile than stock market.

Hello
I had more than 700k of crypto and now it's turned into 24k dollard that I do not hesitate to sell everything and go to something else and on one side I think I must hodl! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
There is no point in selling the cryptocurrency at lost price because of the current market dump in price which was caused by the blood bath and market correction respectively. Meanwhile,  it also a vice versa situations and the best way to help you better is listing your portfolio because some coins don't worth holding at all.

I really believe, this is not the end. Maybe this is just a correction and square off to bounce back. Crypto has given its function to technology and it has been welcomed and accepted in the community.
So in my opinion crypto won't end just because the buyer is low.

No worries, market is recovering if you look on marketcap and also trading volume
Trading volume increased steadily

If you can't sleep and it affected your life, then you might think off to sell it (Not suggested)
IF investment starts to affect your life, by long it shouldn't be like that

Yes, the down trend of the crypto currency market does not mean it the end of crypto currency market because we experienced the same situations in the year 2016 and the market later gain another all time high price the following year. You said the market will develop sooner and I will said it won't develop totally this year.

This is painful while looking at your portfolio if this for real even mine is also dropping.

Everyone is sharing same situation after the downfall from the market high last time and if you will be steadfast to cryptocurrencies, once it goes up again you can earn more than what you can recover. But it's hard to do it right now because you only see the current of your coins. I'm pretty sure that most of your coins are alts.

You must hold and avoid settling for less profit. Indeed what happens in the market is scary but knowing that downtrend is not permanent, we should always choose to hold despite of how bad the market gets. There are still months remaining and we may still see changes eventually. Selling will never be a good idea during the downfall in the market because regrets wiill be to those who will do once recovery takes place.

But they didn't see it as a negative one. Instead they trade their tokens . They do scalping so as to accumulate more tokens.  And in that way they gain too.

Certainly and surely not the end of crypto. It is really sad to see the market being dominated by downtrend for months already from the beginning of this yeatr but as its users, we cannot do anything but to hold and wait for recovery to happen. Doing unecessary actions will just result to profit loss. Peopls should stop selling as it is making the situation in the market worse.

I agree, if the OP sells all of its assets, then the OP will have a large loss and believe that the biggest regret will occur in the future. Indeed many people are trapped, the value of their assets continues to fall and they are very frustrated to see their portfolios. But that's investment and crypto is one of the investments that has a high risk.

If it continues to hold the value of the asset will continue to fall, but you still have the assets and will not be lost. The market does not always continue to fall, there is a time the market will rise again and reach its ATH even exceeding its peak yesterday.

I think you are investing in altcoins which have a higher risk than bitcoin.
bitcoin only drops by around 66% while altcoins can go down to 90%
of the total investment value you at least you only have 3% more, meaning the value of all your total investment is down 97%, why do you prefer altcoin rather than bitcoin if you have a lot of capital, I think selling it is a wrong decision, so you should wait .

I'm pretty sure this is just the beginning. More and more companies are using blockchain for their company. In my opinion, crypto currency and blockchain is here to stay.

With cryptocurrency, we don't have to pay few dollars for worldwide transaction, unlike paypal. Although I must agree that crypto currencies right now are losing its true value. More and more shit worthless coins appears.

Personally, I believe that 90% of shitcoins might end up dissapear or dead as they are usually just a copy from a good crypto currency. Again, in my opinion, crytpo currency should be a currency for universal transaction, not for another purposes.

We can't call it the end of cryptos. We indeed are not able to see a huge pump in short interval for which the cryptos are famous. But that doesn't mean that cryptos are at their end. Bitcoin has successfully maintained its price range above $6k. This shows there is enough volume to support that price range. If we look in history, we will find more worse dumps than this year in cryptocurrencies. Have patience, and go long.

Signs of recovery can still be seen on cryptos which is something to look forward with on the remaining months of this year. Focus more on holding than planning to sell at times like this.

It would be absurd to think of such thing that cryptos are about to end making the negative scenario at this moment a basis. This year might be filled with red marks and recovery might not happen this year BUT dumps are still temporary and as such there would be always a tendency for the market to recover  after a long period of downfall in the market.

Same with me, buddy. I was also stuck with that hodling thing. I should have sold earlier. Well, it's too late to sell now. I'm at 90% losses. But I'm still holding on that crypto will not end soon or ever. It just can't die that miserable. I'm still hoping to sell my hodl assets at a pretty good price. I should have listened to my friend before when he said I can make the most money for my assets by trading it in the market--sell at a high price, buy back at a lower price then sell again at a high price, then so on and so forth. I just wish bearish months end soon.

That's really a big mistake in my opinion but it still depends on what is the altcoin you are talking about. If that altcoin is the kind that has pumped already and you thought that it has already reached its limitation and it won't ever happen again then it is your choice. But, if this happens to me, I would still want at least recover half of that $700k price.

If you still have patience left then better to wait longer until the market fully recovers. This bearish trend will not always and when a good news comes this will reverse the situation and your $24k investment will surely rise with the increase of the crypto prices if you invested in a good currency. Although only you can decide what to do on your money as you can cash-out and leave crypto or wait for the market recovery. This is crypto it's unpredictable market. Patience is the virtue.

It may look like it's the end of crypto already when the bearish market continues to stay in the cryptoworld even until today when the market remains low in its capitalization. I am not losing hope for my crypto assets that it will someday recover back.

as long as the internet and its enthusiasts are still there crypto will not end just like that, it's true that what you say is not the end of crypto but the end of the bearish market, although now the movement is still slow enough to re-increase but this is the beginning to start its growth.

Personally, of course, I am ready to welcome the bullrun market because it has been too long for me to wait for this moment to come back soon.

It's not the end of crypto but it'll be the end of you in crypto world if you're going to sell them all to cut your loss :). You should know that there are so many rich guys are still holding all their cryptocurrencies or keep investing in cryptocurrency although they lost a lot maybe much more than you :). You should know that you can't earn all the time in this world ;)
not fortunately it is not losses that's what I could have won I spent only 200 dollard to arrive at 700k

Many people are unable to understand this concept of business cycle and that there are phases the market pass through that affect the market values of almost all the assets in the market. Same is the case here so it is not a very scary thing. This will keep on happening in future as well.

Besides, claiming the end of the cryptocurrency is a foolish piece of act. Bitcoin is so widely spread and acquired by the users that there are chances it get the legal tender to be used as international currency in days to come.

I agree, the crypto market is very fluctuating and at any time it can rise or fall suddenly. You're still lucky if you haven't sold it to cut losses, because we don't know what will happen in the future and more importantly you still hold on to the assets.

I generally do not think that is not the end, it can be said that only the middle of the entire development of cryptography, therefore no doubt can talk that all of this will not end in the near future so precisely.
How is it possible for technology to vanish just because the market value is down? It is completely to think like that. Technology advances and regresses and currently it is advancing for it is spreading and I do not see any sign of technology dying. We have had the similar kind of stagnation's before and despite all these odds, the technology flourished. Cryptocurrency is the currency of future and it might soon capture a big part of the market if not all.

Do not panic and keep calm. Now there is a correction in the crypto market, this does not mean the end! Correction is normal, because there can not be constant growth. If you sell, your losses will be even greater. Do not worry, crypto at the very beginning of its development. Remember that this is first of all technology!

It depends on your purpose why you are holding cryptocurrency. I believe there are many who are in the same boat as you because of what happened to the price of bitcoin that other price of altcoins follow suit. If you want to, you can still hold on if you don't need the money. Your investment amount may still be reach eventually and you may even gain more profit but you have to be patient for that matter because it seems that bitcoin is having a hard time to recover for now. If you can wait for years then do it but if you want to gain quickly then you might want to consider trading and gain small amount of profit.

Crypto market is not always about the spike, it is normal for prices to fall down from time to time since the price is dictated by the market demand. There are huge market players which can greatly manipulate the price. Just always be patient and make sure to buy/sell at the right time to avoid losses.

If you have coins that are available on top 5 exchanges and have a working team then your coins will rise sooner or later.

How much was its price before you it was dumped?

Holding will be the best and safest way as of now. Trading is too risky plus there is not much movement in the market which means there is no profit too.

To minimise risk and get to invest in a good altcoin, what you need to do is to not go with some unnecessarily shilled coins or try to chase pump and dump schemes. Go all in on what you think the coin can provide as a technical solution to some problem that you deem significant.

For example, with smart contracts you can have custom code that runs atop the blockchain given some criteria. With privacy then you have untraceable transactions. With proof of stake you have delegation of mining to some nodes thus reducing on mining power. With failure handling and partition tolerance you can have the blockchain resilient to larger failures. With a reliable, verifiable platform you can have the best sports betting solution for the future, MeVu.

This still feels like early days for cryptocurrency and some of these coins are likely to do well but you need to choose the right ones. Some are likely to fail.

What coins do you buy that makes you lose that much, the initial capital is 700k and becomes 24k. You should understand crypto first, and if you invest without understanding crypto then you will only prepare yourself for loss.

I think that he had a lot of altcoins, therefore such losses. I have seen so many people lose thousands of dollars on altcoins. They did not want to sell and fixet the losses, then they were told that the market would soon turn around, then when the losses became more and more, they said to themselves that they hodl. Hodl on altcoin does not work. You have seen some altcoins fall in price by 30-40!!! times.

Yeah, I am sure that with the patient, you will be able to make your profit again in someday. The crypto market will increase in this year, you don't have to worry, and you need to wait for a while. Besides that, if you watch the market, some altcoin still try to up and down, and I think this could be a good way to make a profit again. You don't have to get sad if you cannot make a bigger profit because the time will come for you so you can make it again.

I hope this can become a good reality later. For me, the existence and popularity of cryptocurrency are no doubt. Because the cryptocurrency has become the most valuable asset at the moment. As is known, cryptocurrency circulation network transactions up to all corners of the world. This thing too has caused, why cryptocurrency's becoming increasingly global. And until now cryptocurrency still has the potential to cause many entrepreneurs, companies, to ordinary people to try to invest in cryptocurrency.

Just because you have lost your money it means it is the end of crypto, you were just too late to sell, I think you have held your coins for too long. The recent bull market had brought massive income for investors, so the current bear market is just normal for market price correction. Crypto currency still has a long way to go, just be patient.

It's really a hard decision making, a lots of different speculations and opinions in regards to the market fate, for now we should need to learn how things will lets us gain some advantages while we are still inside the market, selling if you bought it early this year is not a good action as you will embrace the reality that you already losses a big percentage of your assets capital investment, holding can help you not to believe the end is coming but instead hoping that the bull will run back again inside the market.

Yeah, if the price is not increasing, that doesn't mean this is the end of crypto since selling now would be the most idiotic thing to do as the crypto still have a long way to go but all it demands the patience of all the investors. So, it is recommended to hold your coins for now as I believe a big bull run is about to hit the market...

Be patient, you will lose too much by selling it now, crypto will not die and you better keep holding to wait for market recovery. And don't worry, the market will definitely show a change to a better price.
I thought some people in some thread said experience is the best teacher. You really do not have to tell him because he won't understand. Let experience teach him some lessons and later on if he is smart enough, he would know that downtrend are there for some reasons and the main reason is to shake out the weak hands, and as long as you are smart enough not to be a weak hand, you will always get the best of the market in the long run.

It is just unfortunate though, that just very few people know that, and one of the reasons a lot will never take advantage of the dips when it comes but end up focusing on the end of crypto that is just starting. People tend to think like this because they never had a single idea of what they are investing into in the first place.

What a lot of them were after is to make quick bucks, with no knowledge of what the future holds or why they should really be investing, let alone, knowing that this is a market that is new, here to stay and just starting with good growth and for someone to consider a bear market as the end, shows just how ignorant they are and how they really should not even be considered as real investors in the first place.

The fact is that the cryptocurrency has always been unpredictable and at any moment could give a chance or deprive you of this chance. If we take into account the facts when users invested their money in 2015 and 2016, then 2017 already brought them great income. And who invested the concert of 2017, today is suffering a big crash.

You must always be patient in investing in crypto if we invest now that we will waste time and throw away the coins that we have long been looking for to get the benefit of opening losses.
I think here is huge difference between the end of the crypto in the mind of people and the end of crypto in real terms. The general perception of the common people is dependent on the market price of the coins however in reality.

It is not the market value but the technological advancement and the spread in the technology that defines the age of a new system. Bitcoin had had huge hurdles in the start as well back in 2010 but due to the fact that it has great and accelerated pace of growth, it survived and expanded enormously.

- Many people panic is very easy to understand when the price of bitcoin still shows abnormal trends and there is no stable landmark, crypto market and we are always waiting for the positive developments of bitcoin but it is still like statue, no emotion or special signal. That really made people very hasty and felt uncomfortable then think and imagine a lot about the fall of bitcoin and the crypto empire, my feelings are very similar to them, doubt this is the end, although I still know this is a familiar story but the negative was rising too high and hope is still sinking bottom

Why didnt you make some research, why did you ignore experts who warned about a big crypto bubble?

Well said. Why will you hold such huge amount on your wallet thats insane. I just hope he can afford to lose 700k because thats insanely too much to hold and not turn some into fiat. Well 24k is very little compared to the total sum. Just hodl my friend

In recent days, the reluctance of many to take risks puts bitcoin in a more favorable position, as the decline in share prices makes traders look for alternative high-yield assets such as cryptocurrencies. It should also be borne in mind that the abolition of Google's ban on advertising digital currencies and ICO is able to warm up interest in them, since now the us-and Japan-oriented regulated companies can again advertise on this platform. I believe that the "bullish" momentum will continue, especially if the SEC approves applications for bitcoin-ETF.

It is very difficult to come to terms with the current situation, especially if a cryptocurrency business is your main source of income. today, because of the need for money, we have to sell cryptocurrency at very cheap prices.

it's too early to conclude even though there are many fluctuations in this year. I am sure this year many speculators, miners, and even developers will learn many things and will make breakthroughs next year, this is because there are still 2 more years to see bitcoin Halving. 2019 is the point to maximize prices because the holders are also very saturated if they continue to save without getting a profit at all, this also applies to altcoin proposals with their respective roadmaps.

It is difficult to survive on Cryptocurrency in the current conditions because the Cryptocurrency price is currently experiencing a price decline that continues to decline.
If you don't immediately sell coins, you can experience more losses, so the best step is to sell coins before losing a lot.

I hope so, but we don't know if the price can stay at a price now or will go lower since the market is still unpredictable. But I think if the price can stable at a price now, then we can see the price will break the higher price in the short time. Maybe the price can go higher and reach $7000-$7500 and stay at the price before it increases more.

Of course that is what the case is. Speaking about the end of the cryptocurrency era, which is normally linked to the down market, it is not so either. The market being dynamic and susceptible to changes due to many endogenous and exogenous factors is the only reason of the fall in the prices of the coins like BTC, ETH and others.

They might recover again sooner or later for this has been quite evident from the history. Anyone who understands the business cycle would understand my concept of market recovery.

Title: Re: the end of crypto?

Crypto is still the future. It will be a big part of everyday life and transform society. The reason I am so confident of this is that in open markets, companies always fight for any competitive advantage and any efficiency savings. Crypto offers huge possibilities in both. And even if some countries ban crypto, there will always be plenty that don't - and those that don't will also gain an advantage. It will become the case that any country or company that doesn't use crypto will get left behind by its competitors.

Crypto will recover. Price drops at the moment are temporary (at least for the good coins). The market is still young and immature, volumes are often thin and trading pairs tie everything to bitcoin with no easy moves to/from fiat. All of that will change in time. Don't panic. Trade if you're good at it, otherwise hold.

I do not think there is any link that connects the down market with the end of the technologies. Technologies seldom degenerated and rather progresses. Which in other words mean that a fall in the market price of a coin cannot be related to its future or life span.

We had a more than 80% fall in the value of Bitcoin back in 2012 and 2013 which however recovered with a big boom in 2017. So crypto for sure is going to be the future currency.

There are many people think that crypto will not survive much more if we based on current market situations that almost been a year that there is no good happenings plus a lot of bounty hunters and ICO investors are already demotivated because most ICO did not pay after bounty end and worst is those investors that have not refunded so possibly happen is they will leave  crypto. But as for me crypto will survive since the world is changing into digital world and this will be the system of new generations.

Crypto currencies are not creating any kind of online job. There were online jobs before. Forgot about online freelancing? Those existed even before crypto currencies were invented. You used to get paid in fiat. Right now only the form of payment has changed. Nothing else.
Secondly, trading is not a form of job. So don't be comparing it to job, rather than a form of gambling with risks involved.

This is a sad end for investors in 2018. But I still hope the market will recover in 2019 or the end of 2018 to be able to regain confidence among investors as well. ICO bounty participants because the exchange rate increase can make a high profit.

Its is absolutely up to you...selling it now may not be the worst choice but imagine what you will feel if your coins will rise in price again?
The crypto market will never collapse. And I think they are also unlikely to grow. So in my opinion, you should make a profit, sell it, do not expect too high in the market, consider before choosing a penny to invest.

The end of the crypto currency will come when we see the price of bitcoin at $ 0, and until that time it will live and develop.

Wow that's alot. Were you targeting 1M USD that's why you didn't sell? I'd be happy to take some profits in the $500k stop. That's more than enough if your capital was small from the beginning though you didn't disclose it. Hope it's just like around $20k.

That is a huge loss, about 96% and how could that happen? Most losses are only 90%, man that's crazy and I think pretty impossible. The fact that you are investing a lot of money, maybe with due diligence you did your own research or spent some bucks for someone to do the research. This post is pretty untrue.

In my opinion you should wait until the bull market crashes again.

Your post is skeptical, at first you are suggesting for him to have faith on his coins but on the last part you drop him off LOL

I think you should try to research and study the market situation, you can speculate even though the downward trend still dominates the market, it is important to involve knowledge, especially in this situation. I trade only to overcome the value so as not to fall too deeply, you can do what I do
Well I think loosing such a big value means you know nothing about the risk management which is even more important that making the investment. There is no point of investing in the crypto market if you can not manage risk. You should not have sold in the down market at all.

It gives no incentive to sell in the down market with no incentives in offer. Besides, one should always try to diversify the portfolio. If you had done that, you would not have lost the value so much. See Bitcoin is still in the $6000 range despite the fall in the values of the rest of the coins. So better stay in the market and wait till the market recovers. You might cover up some loss.

I suppose not to be wrong by the number of coins that are now on the market that give rise to competition. coins that are not able to survive in the market is the fault of the team who can't keep their communities to continue to believe in their coins. the result of the coin will lose the price and lost. the number of coins is now quite the attraction will be growing rapidly right now, many crypto Exchange platform also grows everywhere.

maybe now when you see the price of a coin in a low position, many coin owners feel pessimistic. this happens because the profit they get cannot run optimally. so I think staying stay waiting until the price goes to the highest position and that will make profit be on our side.

More and more codes will make the market more competitive among the coin, many sell this coin and move the other coin, so poor quality coins will gradually fall down. And only for those potential and powerful pennies. So we have to be flexible in choosing the right coin to invest in.

a drastic price reduction does not mean that the end of cryptocurrency is just an expression of traders who have just joined investment in cryptocurrency, for me it is very common about prices that are very fast rotating so cryptocurrency will never end, it's just that the golden age has begun to fade compared to last year .

Why would you sell on losing price? Just come to think about it, if you manage to hold it while it was high until it drops then why do you have to sell in very low price. It's a very wrong decision to make if you ask me and some traders, you're still late for diversification, you should have sell it when you see some price correction that starting to decline the price.
We are in a bear market already but the bull is nearly coming so my advice is to hodl it until you've manage to gain such loses.

You really should choose to hold and not to make absurd decisions that would afterwards result to complete huge profit loss.  Surely, this won't be the end for cryptos and is totally something that is a art of its volatile nature. Recovery would always have a tendency to happen and if you are really into cryptos, you should always consider waiting for such thing to occur.

700k of crypto is a lot were it equivalent of 24k$ which is still a huge amount of money if I am going to convert into our currency.
Anyway, the end of crypto for me is not going to happen especially into our time now. Though, the market was still not good, but as I can see now unlike a couple of months past most of the altcoins so far are now begun to rise up which I noticed it this few days, which I think is a good sign that bull run is nearly close to come, just be patience dude.

Altcoins are not going anywhere. Altcoins along with blockchain are quite a disruptive technology. Just like internet bubble, we have many shit coins right now in the market which die giving an illusion that altcoins will not survive. But I strongly disagree with that. Crytpocurrencies are here to stay. Maybe not in the condition they are today. There will definitely be a market for altcoins but with less number, higher volume and a potential use case.

If you had thought about it a bit earlier, you would not have lost so big. Besides, it is always advised to keep the investment at the initial level and keep on cashing the additional profit that you earn in the business. Now if your worth has fallen high, you should not exit the market.

Keep on holding for we can have a surge in values anytime and who else knows the magic of cryptocurrency more than you do. Better stay optimistic and quest for more. Business is all about wining.

I had more than 700k of crypto and now it's turned into 24k dollard that I do not hesitate to sell everything and go to something else and on one side I think I must hodl! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
I don't know, maybe it's for the best. It is better now to have at least something, than nothing in the future. Although, I believe that ETH and other altcoins will grow, but I do not know how much and when this will happen.

Cryptocurrencies never die! That is absolutely certain. But there is a truth to face that you will die before the crypto be killed if there is not an intelligent investment plan. At this time, after losing so much, I think you should continue holding instead of selling.

See from 2009 bitcoin is struggling and it took more than 9 years to increase its price. In the same evaluation, crypto will start exploring in the coming year due to the potential it has. I don't think so crypto is going to end but surely the values will be kept increasing in the market.

You don't need to panic and have to save coins. If we look at the experience of a few years ago, the price of coins also experienced ups and downs. You can also see that BTC last year was very low in price. And now BTC has become a very high-value coin. So what you experience is that you have to be patient and save your coins in the long run.

More why people don't like holding but I can say holding is nice but have to in part cause you can't hold forever , which means there is time to sell and time to buy you ought to have sold when I was high then but many don't know the logic not until now that we are seeing dip market and as it is now you have no other option than to hold for next bull to return your lost and have some profit too.

That's a big loss. I think the important thing is to spread your money across a feq coins, including some of the big ones. Don't put it all on really speculative low-cap stuff. And then just hold, don't bother trading as your attitude will be desperation to recover your losses, which would lead to risky decisions.
Don't panic, spread your coins a bit, and hold. The markets for good coins will certainly recover in the medium-term.

Indeed it used to be much better when there are 100 coins on the market and that’s all. And now, because of such diversity and expansion of tokens, many investors are trying to find their own coin and basically lose all their money. I will not say that it is bad, but there are a hundred quality coins left, in principle, only it is more difficult to choose now.

For comment on things, first wee need to understand what does the word end means here. If it is about the end of the market as a whole, that never happens. If it is about the end of gaining good profits, that is again a function of the green market and the market forces.

In addition, this market is more like an infinite market place and you will still live for long though there might be changes in the way things are been dealt so far. There will still be the entry of new coins-more potential and more advanced-which will further impart big worth to the already market caps.

In vain you sell your coins and tokens. Cryptocurrency market develops cyclically. During the recession there will always be a rise in the market. Nothing significant has happened. Bitcoin pumped in price, and that was followed by a very long correction. Therefore, it is now most reasonable to save your funds in a cryptocurrency and again expect the right time for trading. Impatient and fearful will periodically lose their money, and due to this, others will make a profit. This is the law of the market.

We have experienced worse conditions in 2012-2013. Bitcoin prices fell from $1200 down more than 500% to below $200, and prices did not recover in a few years, but that doesn't mean bitcoin and crypto are end? we are still in the early stages and recover is certain to happen, you just need to be patient dude..

One thing is for sure, this is not the end of cryptoindustry. The market itself have gone through many ups and downs before and the cryptos have managed to withstand and make a comeback somehow. So same thing could possibly happen with regards to the downtrend this year. As long as there's no official announcement, do not believe of such thing. Just believe, wait and be patient.

Well end comes when the market dies. Look at the market, no mater which source you use for collecting information, you would find that the market is very alive and has actually high demand. Even we have some positive vibes about the market in coming few months that the value will spring up and will replicate the worth of the invested money several times higher. In such cases, it is just not possible to get the value of Bitcoin profitable.

Nope don't give up, I also died in the bear market but am working very hard now to grow my bags again, this time will be selling off on the high and buying back on the next retrace. We are at the beginning of the early adoption phase still and we haven't finished yet. This is like the internet, blockchain technology is here to stay for future generations. Anyone got a stake in some good cryptos now, will be laughing a few years from now. Just don't give up, but if you like you can still diversify in other assets also, that's a pretty wise thing to do. I wouldn't give up on Crypto though, we are only just beginning to get this engine running and nearing the end of this long bearish cycle. I am trying to collect whatever I can before 2020, which I believe will be really bullish with Bitcoin halving coming.

For people who are patient then this is the answer to the time they have been waiting for. in the past the price had dropped considerably and it was an opportunity to win large amounts of coins and cheap prices. finally now the majority of coin prices are increasing and this can be an opportunity to be able to sell it at a much more expensive price. Let's believe in digital currencies and we will get the benefits in the future. Prices are getting greener and let's party for those who are part of the current price increase. it's time to make a profit after waiting for so long.

Crypto will not end.  Crypto prices can go down but the decline in crypto prices is not the end of crypto.  Now we see crypto prices have started to rise even though the increase is very small but this is a sign that the crypto price will rebound.  The decline in crypto prices could occur due to many factors but crypto will still be there because it is still attracted by many people.

Well, that's a good question.

I feel that a lot of people are unsure about the future about cryptocurrencies, there is small number of people convinced that last ATH prices will be broken again.

I personally believe i the future of cryptocurrencies, crisis in Venezuela, Argentina, Chypre etc .. have shown that people in theses countries tend to buy cryptos when there there is an economic problem in the country.

When a new crisis will hit developed countries (like in 2008), the interest in cryptocurrencies will skyrocket.

If you were unfortunate enough to invest during the peak of the last bubble and your portfolio has depreciated in value significantly but you haven't liquidated yet, then don't despair as the market will soon pick up again and you'll likely begin to recoup some of the losses, but make sure you choose good quality assets instead of anything too high risk with a view towards a longer term strategy in order to fully capitalize on the benefits of the next boom that will be driven by mainstream adoption

Reason that still keeping me inside this industry, that example showed if the economy of such countries being compromised people around will find a legit ways to place their money, crypto being anonymous if learned by many will be turned as a mass alternatives for financial investors.

It's just a matter of time before everyone will learned and understand the benefits of this projects, we needed to open the public eyes to see the benefits

We should not say the end of crypto as it will not end even how many times it will dump, the technology will remain and will continue to serve us.
With regards to price, it's a normal trend, sometimes we pump and sometimes we get dump.
Just relax and look for the right timing.

The market is better now, at least 70% of altcoins are gradually picking up. Cryptocurrency is here to stay and will soon be globally accepted.

not only are you experiencing losses, there are many of these communities who experience the same thing in a downward trend and a prolonged correction.
I don't think this is the end of crypto, but this is where you can sort and search for crypto which is really potential in the future. the market will not recover in a fast time and until now the market can still evaporate with several cases facing it.

tis is not the end of crypto.. we all know that everything which is sold in the market has it's ups and downs, not all the time we will be having a good market, and losing lots of investments can be avoided by smartly buying and selling cryptos we have, learn when to sell and when to buy.

There is no need to blame the OP for past mistakes. We all make a mistake during the trading and long term investing. Gambling has no connection with the crypto trading except the odds for the possible outcome.

Hmm ... Perhaps you mean that at the time of the highest prices for cryptocurrency (December 2017) the value of your assets was $ 700k? In any case, you yourself assess your position and decide how to act. But if you believe in a cryptocurrency, then act according to that. Well, if you are afraid of the market and what is happening here, then try your hand at another matter.

Crypto is growing and not the end, we can see this development continuing. Indeed, if you have shitcoin that is useless it will disappear by itself, but crypto is still a lot and still has value if we are good at choosing it.

but i think this is the end of crypto, but only for a bad cryptocurrency project without active development
so, only a good crypto with great team and active development will survive my friend
maybe now is the best time to pick some great cryptocurrencies to our bag  ;)

We did not see a really good project for long. Hope, 2019 will give us some of them. We can invest in the most promising tokens that will become the market leaders with time. The crypto is not dying.
There was a lot of good projects in this year and it looks like you have been missing them all. more and more good projects appeared and then do your own research. crypto will never end consider about the fact a lot of people are still using it. Crypto is not dying and that's just FUD

Crypto is a risky investment and you have to take huge risks of losing some of your money when you invest it into altcoins. It's not over yet as crypto market had ups and downs all along this years and you never know when Bulls are going to strike again and put your investment into profit. If you invested back in 2017 or so then at this moment there in no point in selling your coins as it would bring you huge loses.

If you want to make a big profit then you have to take big risks. And so is the cryptocurrency market, I believe that if you invest wisely, you will make a lot of money. Currently the market has not recovered, this is a good opportunity for us to buy Bitcoin and altcoin. I believe that long-term investment in this market will bring us a lot of profit by the end of this year. You should not sell all crypto now, because the price is still very low, I recommend you continue to hold

If you have invested in the first top 20 coins of the rating, they can still fly up and be expensive. But there is this coin with ICO, then you can safely sell them, they will no longer fly.

Agree, currently there are more than 2400 coins and tokens and will continue to grow, this makes competition very tight, top 20 is a coin with loyal users and a large volume of transactions that will continue to survive.

Of course, this is not the end of the crypto market. If you have lost money, this doesn't mean that the crypto market has come to an end. Yes, you mismanaged your assets, which is why you are now in this situation. It is thanks to such traders like you, the other part of traders (experienced and successful traders) earn.
It is sad that this happens. After all, in fact, your success depended only on you. Yes, the market situation in 2018 was bad and it was necessary to strain in order not to fall into the trap, but to continue earning. It was difficult for me to make money in 2018, but I was constantly learning what could help me to do this, I was looking for ways to earn money on crypto, not just trade.
In general, don't despair, it is better to spend your strength and energy to learn what will help you earn in the future.

Do you think that the thousands of coins will be able to survive in this tough market?
Few will excel but most are likely to get out due to the fact that this market is going on mainstream.
It is the reality that only few will be able to survive and not thousands.

I have a similar situation and I still hope for good results of the cryptocurrency market.  The fact is that even promising projects today have no more chances for development, since many users of cryptocurrency sold everything that caused mistrust, and also brought all the cryptocurrency to Fiat.

A very difficult decision but you have to take it. Selling low-priced coins is a risk of declining market conditions.

I guess you will regret it if you look at such conditions today. That Bitcoin price is now soaring very high. This has an impact on all coins. So the price of all the coins slowly also rises.

This is the reason of newbies in trading. They are so called, panic sellers. They are not ready with what they entered. Yes, we can sell our coins to stop our losses but we can hold also. Cryptocurrency is just like stocks, they may suffer from bear market but it would be vanished. There are many whales as well as powerful businessman all over the world who holds crypto. It is impossible to crash or die. Unless all people hate it.

You are fortunate to sell your assets for $24,000 before the market became bearish unlike most us here that can be considered an unfortunate because we are keep on  holding our Cryptos since the start of bearish missing the chances to sell high before. Anyway there is no sign of the end of Crypto now as the market is starting to become healthy once again in which keep holding is not a waste of time anynore.

I agree with your opinion that the price of coins that fall is not the end of crypto, but there are some coins from ICO projects that are not optimal and unprofessional so that the coins produced are not sold on the market. The result is that the coin is worthless.
But let's see the prices of major crypto coins like Bitcoin, ETH, Monero, LTC, ZCash, Dash or BNB all have high prices and large capitalization in the crypto market. This is a sign that crypto will never die.

Agree, the market may be unstable and the upward and downward trends are constantly being broken but one thing that people can be sure that this is not the end of crypto because these situations are just a normal cycle of the market, repetition many times each year, it helps the market have a rest and adjustment, investors have the opportunity to participate and earn money. The end is not possible right now when the market is still very attractive every day, instead of negative thoughts, look towards the positive

People will make this stay and develop as crypto is a good model of a transparent network since it promoted the decentralized system which is the blockchain.

crypto who will die are those who no longer have trading activities on the market, even those who have not been registered and are still in a long-term plan. many projects that after being registered as registrants then they leave the project without any activity in the group. they will disappear because there is no communication with communism.
like the DSLD token from the DEALCOIN project, there was no development after a long wait to be traded and it turned out that the developer put it on a bad exchange. it shows the seriousness of the developer in running their project.

this is only a discussion of the conditions that occur in the market. it is indeed not fun talking about this topic, but I guess for people here they won't think like that. we know that the development of the crypto market is quite fast. experiencing a decline is not the end, and in fact the market can rise again.

this is about the market, if it declines in a long time then the coin holder is desperate because the value of his assets decreases, I am not at all worried and so far I am still here. of course if happens a decline in the market is not the end but it is an good opportunity to buy cheap coins that have good potential in the future. it is a very good strategy and believe me.
if you have strong confidence it might be very profitable. because buying assets in a decline certainly makes people doubt the possibility of a decline occurs again. a lot of things like that happened, and we might have proven that the crypto market would always be like this. those who endure will get results and fruit of patience and trust.

Crypto serves people with different purpose, it's price volatility would be good for day traders and it's bear season would serve the investors who believe on crypto as they can accumulate. We should know our purpose first so we can do the right action because as long as we believe, we will be successful here even if we aim so high as crypto is just in the early stage and it could grow further as adoption increases.

If you carefully compare the previous price movement of the crypto market during a couple of months before the previous Bitcoin halving, you'll understand that the bottom season is yet to be over cause the bottom usually happen around October to early December but the down price market seems to be pause for now. However, that doesn't justify the next market trend and holding is the chance now though.

It will always look for ways to improve the system, similar to an MTO which is less riskier (https://medium.com/@StandardTokenizationProtocol/micro-token-offering-mto-3-d5a732475ffa?utm_source=lx) compared to all of those and at the same time, more accessible.

It is clear that the failures that occurred in the ico market of the company should not affect the future of cryptocurrency.  As long as there is public interest in the cryptocurrency market, the cryptocurrency will have a very big future.  And the interest of people is just beginning to increase.

The market conditions is volatile but don't panic because it's not the end for crypto. It's good that you choose to hodl than to make a wrong decision. Just be observe the market and be ready to the bull run so don't lose hope because it will be alright again.
don't also do good hopes with improvement. we must also be prepared for a decline that can occur at any time. this market moves too dynamically, and if we just wait maybe what we get will be a little compared to the time we use to wait for profits.

Crypto is not really ending, day by day new crypto coins are being born,
Not because, you are rekt in this space doesn't mean it's the end, you must get used to it and be wiser enough to do the right thing to cover your losses.
I suggest you diversify your portfolio into top coins in market for more chances of cutting losses and making profit.

The only people who deserve to make money are patient investors who believe in what they are investing in.
We can't stop those people who thinks that they can make that much money with crypto by just holding few hours to few weeks. All they think is that the market is solely a rich quick scheme. They can't accept the fact that it's due to the supply and demand of the coins that they are holding and what's even more unfortunate? when the coins they are holding are unknown and still thinks it will lift them up from poverty.

Just like the internet which debuted in 1993, many renowned personalities wrote it off saying it won't see the light of the day but here we are. This same scenario is about to be played out on cryptocurrency and bitcoin. This is Imminent

I think most of us have a same situation like you. I think we have to stay strong and believe that this bottoming season will pass, and crypto will be back to its glory.

i think the bottoming season already over, maybe now we are on preparations season for the bullish trend
just make sure, you are hodl the right cryptocurrency  ;)
We are heading into a new era where cryptocurrency are more stable and of course more expensive in value. The bottom is over, I’m confident about bitcoin and other altcoins now we have to think for a better future, hold many coins with great value as you can. The pump will start again, its proven.

I think you should continue to hold it. Because the bull market is coming in Q4. Keep as many alts as possible, because BTC dominates and investors will sell BTC to buy more. I suggest that you keep LTC as much as possible, halving is about to happen.

Yes, he held his coins (or said he was going to - I hope he didn't sell):

I'm going to hodl nothing to lose!
THANK YOU TO ALL

It does go to show that it can be worth holding in crypto, even when the markets are very low, if you have solid coins there is a good chance that prices will eventually rebound upwards.

ltc is indeed an altcoin that will update in the near future. buy it is a good choice. but for other assets, especially new projects that don't update will be very bad. because they could lose their market immediately when they are not actively traded in the market.

Selling coins to reduce the number of losses, I think it's a good decision. However, once you sell the coin it is better to immediately buy the coins again. Coin prices are definitely low so it becomes a great opportunity to invest again. Crypto Market will definitely return Bull Run and now we can see very good market conditions especially Bitcoin.
