Title: This is not the end of bitcoin
Post by: BIPBot on November 15, 2018, 06:35:59 AM
Recently, I have been seeing a small spike in the number of posts about bitcoin prices. Most of them seem to be out of fear bitcoins end.

But I think bitcoin will survive. Here is why I think so.

First let's take a quick look at the price charts.

Now the prices for BTC is depicted for a day. Seems like BTC is falling fast right?

Now let's look at another image.

Now this is the price chart of BTC for a month. Doesn't look that great does it. I mean the prices were volatile and seem to now be falling.

Lets take a look a the last image.

In this image can you spot the fall that easily?
Not really. It does look highly volatile. But then the prices seems to be stabilizing. The spikes seem to be reducing and there seems to be consistency.
The thing is we have looked at bitcoin up close and that's why we say things like:

Bitcoin prices are falling

Bitcoin down by 20%

Is this the end for Bitcoin

But when we start looking at the bigger picture. We can see that bitcoin has come a long way and the price chart if seen up close might show a trend towards the end. But sometimes the bigger picture needs to be seen. Don't panic bitcoin still has a lot left. It will keep fighting.

If not the price chart. Think about the fact that countries like the US and India have noticed bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and have planned to provide a verdict. I will admit that it has been delayed but the mere fact that the SEC in the US and the Supreme court in India are providing a verdict means bitcoin might just be a step closer to becoming a global currency.
At least it keeps the Hope alive.

This is just my opinion. I would really like to know about yours.
If I am wrong please prove it to me.
I am always happy to learn more.

The final cause and also the most obvious cause but Bitcoin price dropped the most, this is the psychological sell off from investors. Young trader and inexperienced trader easily fall into panic when the market shows signs of decline, followed by a wave of selling off and the situation becomes worse.

Even if it hit $100, they're would be buyers. No need to worry about the price addicts.

it seems that the market are in bad situation because of the red or falling down price. Even the top solid coins are in red situation and I guess it is not the end of bitcoin even of top solid cryptocurrency. It will never be the end and I think we can bear it and we will overcome this bad situation.

This is just another push down the lane. I think why the so much shout is because the coin was expected to rise because of the season we are. Thus, the drop is momentarily for now .

Yeah, it seems seasonality isn't an argument. According to seasonality, alts may start a bull run if btc finds a stable price, but that's hasn't happened so far. I was expected alt season to start these months, but at the moment this doesn't happen. Hope to see alts growing soon, as many of them already lost more than 90% from ath.

I still remember the price of bitcoin last 2016. The price today is really big than the price on that said year. So we don't rely need to be afraid, even if the bitcoin is really on the huge dip it is still gave a great price. Maybe we only need to hold to avoid lossing because i believe that after this dip a new history of crypto may come on this crypto history.

In my opinion the BCH forking what lead to some FUD in the community started the initial dump. This like always pushed panic selling into action. Reason being bitcoin stable for some months made some weak hands drop their coins. They possibly had bought previously this year when bitcoin was still in the buzz but sadly luck was not on their side and when the FUD hit, it hit them hard.

They started selling causing the 10% dump. This does not mean its the end, I have seen this happen every few months and people claiming it to the end only to be debunked a few months later. Good time to buy but be cautious because prices may dump even more soon.

these charts you posted seem strangely familiar :D
last time we had such stability phase and people were getting anxious we had a very similar situation with a lot of FUD and panic sell that pushed the price about 30% below that stable line before it bounced back up again and started the rally.

people were panicking and calling bitcoin dead the same way back then too! in a sense nothing has changed.

While I agree that this is not the end of bitcoin and that drops are yet to be expected, I also think that visualising the last >10% drop in the context of the overall bitcoin history in the range of 0-20k as a prove that it is not significant is a kind of a manipulation. It was a big drop. There is no denying that.

no shit!
this is obviously an attempt to buy bitcoin at much cheaper prices while it is still possible. since everyone knows where the future of the price is going to be like they want to prologue the cheapness as long as possible. so that the accumulation can be bigger.

Bitcoin will not die and it will never end. If you ever think that bitcoin will gonna die because of this market you are wrong simply because we can bear it and many people will support bitcoin until the end. I have one question why some people think that bitcoin will gonna die?

Title: Re: This is not the end of bitcoin
Post by: rishad quraishi on November 15, 2018, 10:32:41 AM
Yup. Bitcoin is not going to die easily. This is just a normal fall. I don't find anything to worry about. Wait till the next year and I hope you will see the raise again. It's acting like a stock market now. It never dies. Many people are so much panicked since yesterday but I don't find any reason for panic. People who are worried should check the other cryptos too.

Yes, this is not the end of Bitcoin.  Many people have  great faith in Bitcoin and I for one is a true  believer, then and now.  This kind of situation is not new in the crypto world, but Bitcoin always survive and stay, so keep your faith and wait up for the good time.  It may sunk down but one thing is sure if it reach bottom , there is no way but up.  We  might never know but the time we are all waiting for  is just around the corner, so stay calm and hope for the best.

This is not really the end of bitcoin. Way back on couple of years that the price of bitcoin is not that big as 5k USD can really make is more confident regarding to the price. Deoppingvof price not really mean that it will die. Bitcoin is not really dying it is just maybe experiencing a huge dip and maybe it is a good sign for the coming bull run.

In my opinion no one can defeat bitcoin unless the dev permitted something better coin to lead. The dump price doesn't mean bitcoin is weak rather it is just an indicator that crypto is active even though the motion is drowning. I believe bitcoin will recover again in due time because there is a time for everything. Choose to be positive than to be negative.

That's right. This is not the end of Bitcoin. I believe the Bitcoin will never end. It is the main thing in the crypto world. The crypto field can't be going forward without the Bitcoin. It's the king coin/ mother coin in here. I give a little advice to you, Don't be scared with that current market conditions. This time the best thing to do is HOLD and patient. If you can do these two, definitely you will gain massive profits after 1/2 years. So be patient and be optimistic.

There are several things at play right now. A lot of fear and bullying regarding the BCH Fork and the Craig side of BCH is threatening openly to sell a lot of BTC if the miners support Roger Ver and Jihan Wu and not himself. He claims he is satoshi nakamoto and this has brought the dump in for Bitcoin and all alts. I think we are not done capitulating and slowly slowly all alts and Bitcoin are bleeding out because if this BCH WAR. BCH wants to take Bitcoin's market share and destroy Bitcoin and other altcoins that is why I am no way supporting it because it is run by Arrogant Alpha Males. Also Institutions are buying up BTC BY THE TRUCK LOAD OVER THE COUNTER FOR bAKKT AND OTHER HEDGE FUNDS.

Exactly, I even noticed one account who totally shilled against bitcoin being quite for sometime and then suddenly came out because the price seems to be falling really hard. Lmao. It just shows that those who spread FUD hibernates when their tactics doesn't work and will go back once their is a panic. Be careful with those kind of people. ;D

Of course common sense will tell us that its not the end of bitcoin and as per the chart, we have been in this kind of situations and bitcoin is so resilient that it has the ability to bounce back after just a couple of days. So there's no need to worry at this point and let is simmer down after the Bitcoin Cash fork.

This is not new in the crypto market the price of bitcoin is down so it doesn't mean bitcoin is going to end. This is a nature of falling price of bitcoin and there is a proof bitcoin may turn out within very short time. so do not worry bitcoin will die but it can turn back a new record of price.

People who really panic during these times are the ones who really don't know what they are doing, they will start to question themselves and then they will start to question others on what went wrong or is there any hope yet. Just like what you have said this people are looking for the short term of things and they haven't seen the bigger picture yet. They did't see the bigger picture yet that is why as soon as they see their portfolio go red they will start to don't believe on what they are holding. Crypto trading is really not for the weak as you are like blaming others for your own fault.

Really really nice thread and examples. You are totally right, people usually do not see the whole picture, but only a part of it, about which everybody is talking about as usual. In the current case it's bitcoin's fall from 20k to 6k which we could see this year.

It seems to me that many people started talking about the possible death of Bitcoin, not because the rate dropped sharply, but because it did not meet their expectations. Let's be honest, it seemed to us that Bitcoin would repeat the jump of last year, and now we see that this most likely will not happen, so we fall into pessimism.

Yes this is not the end for bitcoin and I think there's no reason of people thinking bitcoin Will die easily because bitcoin still became the king of crypto until now and there's no altcoin can overtake its place. We should not worry about the price because someday bitcoin will reach highest value again.

The price of bitcoin is almost irrelevant in its success and usefulness. All it does is serve as an indicator of how successful bitcoin is but that's all. If Satoshi's true vision was reached then it wouldn't matter if bitcoin was worth $1 or $100m dollars because no one would be using dollars.

I definitely agree with OP's btc chart analysis and in my opinion, the current dip is simply just a normal correction  of the btc market and nothing to worry much. Btc market is still a good currency for investment and let this dip be an opportunity in buying btc at a much lower price. In the coming months, btc will recover from this temporary adjustment and investors will soon appreciate the expected pump in the coming months. Don't worry too much as there is no need to worry since Dew being volatile is just a part of the market movement.

It is true that Bitcoin market some times crash like this but it also recovers, this is just a short term correction and in this correction panic sellers are making it to fall more down but still Bitcoin have been holding the resistance price so in next week we can see price moving back to $6000+ price.

Precisely, bitcoin is a great viable asset among all currencies and many investor resemble this asset and always keeping it despite of the current bearishness. Some of us create a negatve FUD to disregard bitcoin to not be invested by a newly investors. But still pleasure to hear some of us are always keeping bitcoin and raise it highly with our support and with positiveness. And I always keep in my prospectus that bitcoin will still exist in the crypto world, only us can make it through.

yes, bitcoin today created a down chart, it was the same event a few months ago, in a bearish condition, the bitcoin will not last long in a low value.

and this chart convinced me, this year's bitcoin will not reach more than $ 10000.

What a global currency you talk about
do you think SEC or Bank of India decide about what will be global currency
People are funny with that idea that btc will be global currency
Bitcoin  will survive now we have speculative flash crash
Now imagine dollar crashing like that
Investigation will be launched immediately
In crypto few traders can do what we have today

To me i see a new opportunity that bitcoin is giving to us all to buy and hodl for the time to have a drastic move in prices is about hitting us and only those who endured will reap it. I know bitcoin has survivied all this while and will never end like this.

That's because they are taking it seriously, the huge fall of the market today especially for bitcoin is just an effect of BCH fork and ain't gonna be an indication of its end.  Anyways, we cant blame others to think on the negative as they are still now doubts of crypto capabilities.

The final cause and also the most obvious cause but Bitcoin price dropped the most, this is the psychological sell off from investors. Young trader and inexperienced trader easily fall into panic when the market shows signs of decline, followed by a wave of selling off and the situation becomes worse.
It seems like there is a game of big traders, want to create a panic situation,   and the effect that occurs is that small traders will quickly sell, this kind of thing that big traders really want with the panic caused will decrease the value of the currency,
and the big traders can buy in large quantities at a relatively cheap price,   tricks like this have often been done in the world of commerce.

I think repeated scenario has always been happening when price drops.Price drops too fast when seeing the chart..but this doesn't bother me at all.We all just need to have more patience when it comes to bearish market because the price will get back soon and this is too far from the end od bitcoin.

Well all of this are speculation and we do not really know what will going to happen with the system. Besides, the graph would not be am accurate basis for the probable happening to occur for bitcoin. As we experience the current fluctuation now, the outcome will be determine as we follow the market all along the way in the near future.

Yes, a similar incident occurred in August 2017. When BTC forking, people spread FUD so that many holders dumped their coins. After the forking was successful, the BTC value became very high than before. So, the current decline is not the first time this has happened. It's only a matter of time and the crypto market returns to normal.

If the goes in a dip fall or not it is not a cause to sell or dump out of fear,it should rather be a better time to acquire more to our portfolio but this is not the case to weak hands they always out panic.

Some  investors not all feel that  when the price is low or there is a fall in price Bitcoin is dying and there is no hope for all investors. This thought are really dangerous for such investors,it should be better understand that bitcoin is a volatile currency and no one can predict when the price will fall or when the price will come up and if the price comes goes down it does not mean it is death.

Those people that are thinking that the end of bitcoin are only basing with the short term falls. But they never looked at the long run of bitcoin and the past of it.
If they will start looking on it, they will be amazed on how bitcoin survived all of those times and made it to the high and still 1/4 of the rose that it made last bull run.

I just want people to stop using or mining BCH and that BCS Bullshit coin of a fork as well. They are a waste of space on the CMC and diluting the crypto pot. Bitcoin would be at least sitting at 10 - 12k USD if it weren't for all the forking that's been going on around it, trying hard to destroy Bitcoin from within by these moronic alpha males. No wonder we are falling short of mass adoption and more of us women coming into crypto right now when the sh8t show is run by all these retards. I am sorry to say, we need more forces for good in Bitcoin circles that will entice more people to come in and hodl Bitcoin, along with other altcoins.

The currently happenings has shows that Bitcoin will survive this big challenge. The drastic fall of Bitcoin price was as a result of many factors ranging from Bad news and the fight on BCH: Hard Fork, hope the dust settle and the price move upward.

Thats where people go wrong. Governments of bigger countries would not accept crypto as a legal tender. If they did immediately banks and bigger whales of traditional markets would revolt saying that government is siding with criminal based currency even though we all know that its not really the truth and that the whales are doing it for their own advantage.

We must remind ourselves that bitcoin whales are in no comparison to the fiat whales. They can still turn the tables if they themselves enter the market aggressively buying bitcoin.

Currently the market trend might be low but thats not important, keeping your own nerve firm and down to earth is what is important. Lets hope the next ETF of February turns out good.

Bitcoin experiences normal price fluctuations, so it's not something that is scary or even thinking that this is the end of bitcoin. Bitcoin users are people who are mentally strong because they have been tested several times for bitcoin to experience price shocks, and public distrust. But bitcoin remains strong, even some countries in South America use bitcoin as a legitimate payment instrument.

This is true, if you look at the price of Bitcoin for the entire time of its existence and compare it, for example, with last year’s, it has grown. But now everyone is panicking because the Bitcoin price has dropped below $5,700, and this is the lowest price in 2018. Panic in the market is always reflected in the form of falling prices, but I believe that this is not a critical drop and there is no reason to worry.

Even if it hit $100, they're would be buyers. No need to worry about the price addicts.
;) This is a viewpoint I hold also. No matter the price, going up or coming down, there are buyers of bitcoin. It does not seem to indicate a dying coin.
There will be a buyers of bitcoin even the price goes up and down. And as of now the number of people who want to buy bitcoin become double so if there is a huge number of people who willing to invest in bitcoin the demand of it will increase and also the price will increase too.

If you will see the movement of Bitcoin in the past week, it remained sideways most of the time. It will increase but a little amount only. That is an indicator that anytime Bitcoin will  move either downward or upward and now we saw what happened (even I'm sleeping when it happened).

As long as there are buyers of Bitcoin, it will not stop. I think the hard fork of BCH affected its price at some points or maybe another manipulation?? Whatever happens, I will just hold my Bitcoins until it reach my target selling price.

Right.Bitcoin has a very volatile market so expect that if bitcoin falls rapidly in the market today, then next to it is seeing its price rises up again.Repitition just happens all the time.So we need  not to  panic because surely bitcoin price will still recover. As long as we don't make panic selling right now, then we will not lose in the future.

Base on the image that you've been posted there is one thing that I can tell 'This is not the end of  Bitcoin'. Yes all cryptocurrency has the same characteristics which is for being volatile or has an unstable price because it is a cryptocurrency. When you look at the 2017 Bitcoin price from September going December it is the most highest price being recorded at year 2017 and it last until January 2018. But after Feb up to this month almost all cryptocurrencies are in downs especially Bitcoin however it is not the end of this year maybe on December it will bring us a good news. So it is better to wait and give more patients.

never make a benchmark with a prediction, because not all predictions reflect the real situation, we never know what will happen in the future, because actually the future will begin with the present, we must always think positively that bitcoin it is a miracle of digital currency that is now, so bitcoin will change the payment system in the world in the future, so for anyone who does not want to take the opportunity to infestation in bitcoin it can be ascertained in the future it will be abandoned and will regret it.

This is really a funny thing, everyone really getting more panic this time due to the big crash that we are now experiencing. I think we need to be more practical the price of bitcoin today is really bigger that the past couple of year that is why we don't need to be afraid of this kind of price. Just look back the price of the bitcoin from the past 3 to 5 years from now. Bitcoin has still its amazing price today even of it is now on dip so let us wait for it because I believe it will soon rise.

You are right. If we use a broad perspective, the current price of bitcoin is still higher compared to previous years. It's just that for those who have just joined and are unfamiliar with cryptocurrency and lack understanding of the ecosystem, they will surely conclude that this is the end of bitcoin, even though this is a natural thing. Price fluctuations are normal.

While I agree that this is not the end of bitcoin and that drops are yet to be expected, I also think that visualising the last >10% drop in the context of the overall bitcoin history in the range of 0-20k as a prove that it is not significant is a kind of a manipulation. It was a big drop. There is no denying that.
believe me this is one of the games of big investors to shake up prices by creating panic at small traders, actually going up and down from bitcoin is very normal, we also see many times the price jump, so we must always believe that bitcoin will be stable and rising prices are temporary, for traders do not panic.

I also do not look at things through a small window 'coz it's easy to overlook the smallest detail when looking through it. Try to look at it at a bigger picture, and you'll realize how great bitcoin can become in the long run. I strongly believe that bitcoin is invincible and indispensable. It's just that it is at the critical phase of change; that's why it's experiencing extreme waves, but it will not be wiped out. As people get more and more techy and digital, it will soon be our main payment option and an important tool in commerce.

The life span of Bitcoin will never depend of the charts histories, datas and some predictions because the experts are becoming fools so many time now because of this bearish market. The future of Bitcoin will always depend of the real demand that we don't know if many crypto users are gone already so rather than looking for the charts and hope that market will bounce back but better if we could do something that Bitcoin will be surely save from this difficulties.

Beside that, bitcoin market cap already above $100billions and i think investor will keep their coin because its very liquid investment

I am sure the Bitcoin will not end up here. Bitcoin has the ability to continue to grow and produce more expensive price to bring it into the main Cryptocurrency coins today and into the future. so relying on Bitcoin will be able to generate more profits.

If BItcoin ends who will replace it? BCH? oh that's not possible, BCH only made noise for Bitcoin holders, so now BItcoin prices on the market only experienced a slight decline for the continuity of the Bitcoin ecosystem before the price of Bitcoin went to the Moon, so we have to enjoy the time before Bitcoin really goes to the moon.

Those charts says everything. People should know that crypto currencies are extremely volatile, but in the long run, the price will always tend to go upwards. Compare the price with last two years and you will see that we are still on the green zone and the price rose multiple times. This fall is temporary and people should be taking full advantage of it.

A good example of the fact that everything in this world is relative and everything depends on how you look at the situation. But throughout 2018, the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is gradually falling and it’s hard to argue with this, so many of us are in a pessimistic mood. Let's hope that this is the minimum price of Bitcoin and it will continue to grow.

Actually this is an attempt from group of scrupulous individuals who aimed at buying Bitcoin in mass and keep for the next bull run, this has be done before in year 2017 and its still repeating itself. Let watch out for this stylish game from the whales. Bitcoin will survive this attack and the market price will bounce back, let be watchful to await another bull run.

As the picture shows bitcoin price is falling around 20%. Others are on panic because of this scenario, bitcoin price falling down because of people goes to selling and not buying. It will recover within an hour or several days.

This is not the end of bitcoin, its just already started and its just normal to have fluctuation like commodities.

obviously not the end, the bearish movement will soon reverse, its just a good time for investors to make trading decisions.

No one can say that it is the end of the crypto.  It is obvious that many people want to start dealing with the cryptocurrencies, and they invest their money in various tokens and BTC.

When the price dumps and a lot of people are losing their investments on crypto currencies, a lot of them will say it is done, that Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are dead but we know that all of that is just an overstatement since crypto currencies are really volatile to start with the reason they will be having such price dumps. Instead of spreading FUDs, better lay out a plan that will give us a good result in the near future.

Looking at smaller picture in the chart, it looks like it suddenly died. It's like a slit throat to the price in an instant, but looking at a bigger image, we can see that it is practically just a small portion of plunge. I don't see any reason why would people panic so much about this sudden drop. It might be looking like because they feel like that it is gonna be fully stable in 6k above. It is like the cemented floor for Bitcoin for months now since that December slow downfall.

It has its ups and downs but this is not definitely its end. Volatility is a normal trend and we should learn to embrace that reality. Bitcoin still has a long way to go, it can potentially grow if we keep our strong support and commitment to it.

I will admit that it has been delayed but the mere fact that the SEC in the US and the Supreme court in India are providing a verdict means bitcoin might just be a step closer to becoming a global currency.

nothing can end the existence of bitcoin, bitcoin cannot die because the more age increases, the more people will want to know it. the era is increasingly sophisticated, of course, the digital world is the right choice and fast for any aspect. the price drops has become a common thing for us and this has often happened.

Some bitcoin holders, they tend to see a jump in the price of bitcoin at the end of last year, where the price of bitcoin reached $ 20,000, so now when prices decline, cause anxiety and fear that eventually many people think the price of bitcoin falls, then they fear losing more , so they sell bitcoin to avoid the risk of greater losses. For me, the price of bitcoin is still quite good, and I believe the strength of bitcoin is still very large, so I will always be patient waiting for the rise in the price of bitcoin, because I'm sure bitcoin will definitely rise again above $ 20,000 in the next few years.

Most people panicked when Bitcoin dropped suddenly in some few days ago. There is no point in panicking this time because the drop in price is said to coming from the hashrate of the miners. If this is the case, then Bitcoin will soon bounce back to normal and perhaps takes it bull run from there.

Can you provide further information about this information? I really need the latest information about the current market situation. In my opinion, there are many beginners who invest in Bitcoin without learning how to trade well, and their mentality is not ready to suffer a loss, because they continue to think of big profits, and when prices always go down then they panic. And this is not the end of Bitcoin.

The recent sharp drops on the price of bitcoin is no longer new to me because it already happened several times in the past. Cryptocurrencies can't avoid downtrend because of price cycle that's been a part of the coins since the first day they are created. Bitcoin has survived many price drops and will continue to survive the next one so it betfer to end their negative predictions instead.

I still remember the price of bitcoin last 2016. The price today is really big than the price on that said year. So we don't rely need to be afraid, even if the bitcoin is really on the huge dip it is still gave a great price. Maybe we only need to hold to avoid lossing because i believe that after this dip a new history of crypto may come on this crypto history.
right, if we know about the state of bitcoin prices in 2016, now the price is very expensive compared to current prices. and in only about 1 year the price of bitcoin reached its highest price in 2017. therefore it is not impossible if next year bitcoin will also reach its highest price like 2017

The market of bitcoin is down these days and the starting of this year its could not be predict by the bitcoin expert that where the crypto market will be stop losses and when it will be bull run start. The end of bitcoin is the state of disappointing mind. But I hope that crypto market will be rise up soon and green.

Bitcoin has crashed so many times already before it went off to its all time high last year. Bitcoin's future is brighter as more and more people and other entities are using the blockchain technology already.

Well, we have seen worst case scenarios in the past and according to our experience, this is definitely not the end of the end of Bitcoin at all. In fact, I would say that this is an opportunity for those who are looking to get involved with Bitcoin and crypto industry. I am expecting some sharp moments in the coming years based on the signs of involvement of the big whales and institutional investors. However, I would strongly recommend doing own research before taking any investment decision.

I think theres no need to worry about bitcoin because many experts said that market is still at good situtation and it can recover next year and it will also reach a new ATH in 2019 as they predicted. Many investors will take this as a chance to buy more and hodl while the price is still low.

Your positivity in this forum is greatly appreciated. Surely, bitcoin can still fight but I am not expecting anymore that bitcoin will pump this year. What I can onsetve is that its price will be stable for the next 3 months. To change the price is not caused by the whales but it is caused by the panic sellers.

Correct, it is not the end of bitcoin because it just a normal happenings. It was happened many times but still it exist and the price is increasing. We should be calm and keep the faith because sooner everything will be okay. Stop worrying better understand each situation why it happened.

Yes, everything that happens at this moment is normal for a BTC investor. Just a bit of the event due to a lack of user policy, as some individuals did not keep up their currency. Simplicity says Bitcoin will never die. And I hope it will soon rise again  ;D.

when compared to a few years ago the price of Bitcoin is currently still very normal, except with a very high increase last year, this decline made many people surprised even though the price of Bitcoin is still high. so there are many people who think this is the end of Bitcoin but I personally agree with you if there will be another increase next year and Bitcoin will not die now.

Of course Bitcoin will not die now, it's just a normal when price drop occurs. Dont be panic, if the price Bitcoin drop could
cause losses then hold is the right solution, believe prices Bitcoin will rise again like last year.

We should not panic as this technology will bounce back. Those downfall has purpose to get out every weak investors and make a strong rally to rise again. In the price history of bitcoin the ups and downs is just normal and every fall it bounce higher to give profits to the believer of this technology. This is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin and hold until it recovers.

It seems that the panic occurred due to the fact that everyone was expecting a rise in the price of Bitcoin, and there was a fall. Yes, compared to last year, now the price of Bitcoin is quite high, but if you look at its price in the middle of December 2018, it has fallen sharply, this worries many investors and they leave. Soon everyone will get used to this Bitcoin price and calm down, after which it will be possible to talk about the possible growth of the crypto market.

bitcoin will never ever die for sure, just the price is decrease that is not the reason to tell bitcoin end.

There are people or i might say investors that says Bitcoin will die in less than 10 years from now. They might not like Bitcoin, we never know. All I know is that I am earning a profit out of it and I am lucky I invested on Bitcoin and other crypto currencies while it is cheap.

of course this is not the end of bitcoin. I think the decline in bitcoin is due to the actions of large traders who sell large amounts of bitcoin. and have an impact on the market and then they will buy again at a low value and also the impact of negative bitcoin reporting earlier this year makes the beginners panic. and finally they sell, making the value of bitcoin fall. but I still believe bitcoin can pump again. maybe we should wait a few more months.

That is a good point, the panic and negative outlook will lessen when the current market settles and people get used to whatever value it sets at.

At the moment it is panic selling there are those of us who remain calm.

That is how I felt after I checked the market price of Bitcoin. This is the time to buy or invest in Bitcoin and its not the end of it. People need to take the opportunity of this dip and make some reasonable profits with Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is at its youth age and too young to die or come to an end. The world is gradually adapting to this new technology.

Yes, bitcoin is decreasing, I admit that. But what you say can be wrong, maybe after this freefall event, will be a stepping stone for bitcoin to grow even higher, I hope December 2018 the price of bitcoin will rise faster in an unexpected way. We must be optimistic and believe that bitcoin is the best commodity/solution and also the easiest method of investing. Maybe, with this price as low as $ 4.882 this thing can trigger the entry of thousands of new users, if this works perfectly, it's not impossible that the increase in bitcoin prices will come true.

I don't think there is any thing to fear about going by your accurate analysis its very obvious that the price is falling rapidly thus signaling more fear across the board  this is not the end of bitcoin, I belief the price will pump maybe the 'whales' had been dumping so as to accumulate thus controlling the market in which the end result is the massive crash in the price of btc.

The recent drop in price of Bitcoin which affected the almost the entire market is said to be due to the hashrate of the miners. According to records, if the fall in price is due to this reason, then there is no point in panicking because Bitcoin will recover soon and perhaps takes its bull market again from there.

I don't think it is. Because that's what happened in 2016 to 2017. Bitcoin's price was very low and when it comes to 2017, it rises up quickly. So I think it may happen again next year.

I don't completely agree with you. Yeah bitcoin prices may or may not increase. But one thing for sure is that it will survive. I mean if it has survived for 10 years I sure it has caught the attention of some potential people.

There are countries implementing cryptocurrency. Not a person, Not a group of people, Not a company, Not even a city or a state rather an entire country. This will impact the cryptocurrency market sooner or later.

Yes you are right. I think this is the high time to buy BTC in low price and investors is doing this so. BTC can not die as it using worlds latest technology-block chain. Ups and down in every market we can see. So BTC price is also in low condition. So men who are claver must investing in low position for future investment.

There is always a posibility that this drop will continue until the end of bitcoin. But there are still so many people who believes in it. So I think bitcoin will still recover.

Could you define "the end of Bitcoin"? I would use it even if it goes down to $0.01. I would still be interested in it, and I'll never stop supporting it. I'm also more than sure that we do have a lot of members around here that would do the same. It can't go down to 0, it can't die. Bitcoin going down to $100 would be the perfect opportunity for me to do what I haven't done years ago back when the $1200 -> $125 price dump happened. Bitcoin won't die, or did we forget that, before all this mainstream thing happened, Bitcoin was used as a free way of sending coins from one person to another? IIRC, it was free for a while, before people started to value it and gave it a price.

The final cause and also the most obvious cause but Bitcoin price dropped the most, this is the psychological sell off from investors. Young trader and inexperienced trader easily fall into panic when the market shows signs of decline, followed by a wave of selling off and the situation becomes worse.

Indeed that is also what I am seeing and currently observing that upon reading in the entire forum, I see newbies are getting into panic of the assets they are currently holding together with those who have jnvested when the price of Bitcoin spikes really high last December 2017. If this will not stop and just continuously happening over and over again, we might be expecting more downfall but it will not totally clarify that the era of Bitcoin will soon to end. It is just that panic among people makes them paranoid of selling at a much lower price to attract buyers to buy their assets on sale.

Absolutely not! this cannot be the end of bitcoin. All these manipulation of the market prices are strategies used by whales to deceive people in selling cheap whiles they buy and hold it for the future good. The future of cryptocurrencies is very bright and bitcoin is going to be one of the major cryptocurrencies used to make transactions.

You are right that if you see this from a long term perspective what we are seeing the market do during the last weeks is not really that significant, but most people that invest do not do it for the long term they are thinking only in getting some profits in a matter of weeks or months and what we are seeing is affecting them in a very significant way and if they sell, which is the most likely thing they would do, it is unlikely they will recover that money.

This information has to be spread, bitcoin is definitely a very volatile currency, but it has almost always been rising, and if we compare it with its beginnings where it was worth about $10 is still at an impressive price, probably the bubble has been burst and we will not see a price as big as in January, but it will definitely recover much more than this.

not the end of Bitcoin and not the end of Altcoin, this is only temporary. I'm sure this very falling price is an attempt to attract investors, some Altcoin even have no effect at all with the current market conditions, it shows that the cryptocurrency market is still very stable and remains strong even though some of the prices of cryptocurrencies crash..

BTC price is down now to 4.3K USD, Do you think many investors now are panicking and selling their bitcoin for low prices? Or Is this the time of the year to buy more bitcoins and wait for the next bull run?

yes, at the moment the best thing is to buy when prices go down and wait for the time when we want to sell the coins we have bought. so we have to be patient when prices go up again. even though at that time we have to wait.

You are right, too fast to say this is the end of bitcoin. This just like go back to 2017 when bitcoin price is not much different from this time. For me it doesn't matter, while trading activities are still active, prices can change at any time and certainly won't always go down.

Waiting is way too long for now as the market really down so deep, if you have the trust holding is more realistic for now, or if you have more money to invest you can also take some risk and buy some Bitcoin and store inside your safe wallet it will rise back it's not the end.

For many it is difficult to see beyond this year, bitcoin still with this price is incredibly higher than when it came out, of course, we are not in an ATH, but has always been increasing, progressively, has had dips and bear markets but after months it recovers, but remember that historical data do not ensure data in the future, but at least serve as a speculation.

Because of the current market situation that is falling, some people think that Bitcoin will die, but in my opinion Bitcoin will not die easily because there will be many more who will support Bitcoin and the market will recover, so in my opinion this is the right moment to buy.

Market may move to any directions and also come down to the some more level but do not make negative thinking to become panic situation. Bitcoin can not come down to the end because it is the base of all coin and all coins are running in the market with the help of bitcoin.

Of course, it will survive this hash war. It is falling for the various reason which when restored will make it go up and stable. I think manipulators are also behind this and will be targeting to buy it soon or maybe already they are doing. The price is still high and many are in profit, maybe it won't reach $10,000 or $15,000 or reach its all-time high, but it will rebound soon to some good numbers or values.

In my opinion, those who think that bitcoin has come to an end really don't understand it at all. Such a conviction only shows how many "scared children" on the market are incapable of adequately analyzing the situation.
Even if we abstract from charts and technical analysis, common sense should suggest that if Bitcoin die, then obviously not now. We know that there are hundreds of wallets with thousands of bitcoins on them. Agree, hardly all these people and organizations will not try to sell all their savings if Bitcoin really die (although I don't see any real reason for the death of Bitcoin).

Yes, we agree that bitcoin will never die or end, the price of bitcoin now is going down, but if you watch bitcoin trend in the past year bitcoin is still good. So never give up and spread good news about bitcoin and we hope before end this year bitcoin will recover or  start of the year 2019.

That's very true but it is rather unfortunate most people are panicking now because of the current price of bitcoin but if you have studied carefully the history of bitcoin you will realize that this is something which is not unique because it has happen several times. Don't sell cheap people, hold your coins for the rise in market very soon.

Sometimes i get worried whenever i hear such comments like its the end and so forth, but i also do understand those who makes such claims. Monies are really hard to come by and so with the partial loss you get really disturbed. All i can say is BTC is still alive and is not ready to end any longer so you can go on with your plans.

It becomes harmful when the market starts falling. You should be calm because the bear market is an excellent opportunity for short-term investments. Many investors are waiting for this moment, and they expect prices to fall further because they want to buy more Altcoins and Bitcoins.

Most people are panicking because they have not taken time to study the history of Bitcoin and its capabilities very well. There have been times when Bitcoin went down even more than this yet it recovered. Bitcoin has the capabilities of rising up again so there is no point in panic selling at cheap prices now.

Thats right guys , i totally i agree on the both of you that bitcoin can still make a good comeback although it just take some time .

in the meantime , lets forget about checking the price and lets take a break for while because there might be no bull to enter this season .

we will then return to our crypto business on january 2019 to check if there is a good news or not .

It is also a good idea to buy at this current dip , so that we can always have a possibility to earn big when the right time comes .

I guess this is not end of bitcoin but the biggining to earn huge profit. The price is very low compare to the price last year when it was boomming in the market. If you want to earn more profits then this is our chance, this price is the best price to buy for bitcoin and hold in the wallet and then wait for the price to hi to the top.

There are upward price movements in the price of bitcoin after its recent sharp drop and that means investors are buying continuously. Bitcoin will only end if its price in the market become zero but the present are still high if you it to 2016, a year before the bullrun of 2017. The top cryptocurrency is known for its comeback so I think it will go up again in the near future.

I can see that Bitcoin prices are falling sharply and many people are worried and puzzled by this. They fear being right because they have spent a lot of money on it and hope it will rise again. However, it is still detained, which is why the trend to sell. This makes it surpass the support level and decreases. What we should do now is to calm down and observe the market, stupid things or lack of thought will lead to mistakes that are not worth it.

The real fate of cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin, is actually not only in the hands of investors. The investors are secondary. The real fate of cryptocurrency is in the hands of the developers themselves. If the development of any coin for that matter is not according to the taste and standards of potential investors, all of these are nothing. They will not be attracted and therefore the coins will amount to nothing.

We flocked to support Bitcoin primarily because of the vision.

So for the traders and investors of bitcoin just relax and be calm, tomorrow might be your success.

I believe that in several years adoption rate will increase and price will stabilize at more higher values.

I agree with you. this is not the end of crypto currencies, especially bitcoin. bitcoin still has value in the trading market but the current value in the trend is declining, so this currency still has a price and will not end. I think this is a natural thing because crypto currency has become a trading commodity so that it will have a value that keeps changing every second. and this currency is strongly influenced by supply and demand.

Volatility has long been an overdue concern in Bitcoin community but I don't think that it's the sole basis for it coming near to an end. Despite price correction still Bitcoin manage to survive, it's our support, and strong commitment that make it even grow, because without it's people it cannot operate its own. Bitcoin has helped a lot and change the quality of living for those who believe in it.  I still believe that Bitcoin has a long way to go.

Market price may depend I institutional investors and whales to where they want to go. Once there is a huge sell off small investor also cutlossing there position and wait for a short rebound to buy back with so many merchant now using Bitcoin it is imposible that this will fade off maybe it is just finding the bottom before it will become bullish again.

I like the way you capture the conclusion. You are right, if we look at the price separately of course there will be many speculative thoughts and believes that bitcoin is dying or something. But, when we see a bigger picture we can see the difference and even the flow and conclude that it's really not the end. I do not believe that Bitcoin is going to die out, to me it looks like the market is just experiencing growing pains which will even out over the years. I do believe that Bitcoin could go onto new heights in the future.

Many thought before that bitcoin will die last 2014 when it has spike to a thousand dollars and went back down. Many got frustrated because they lose their investments and some even just forgot that they have coins especially those that are into bitcoin and just left their computer with it. Bitcoin has been killed many times in the articles but then it has recovered and then rise up multiple times than the previous all-time high. I believe it would happen again.

I do not believe that Bitcoin is going to die anytime soon,
Once Bitcoin recovers its price and it will, and If we look at its previous record It usually shoots to new heights. This bear market can turn out to be a great opportunity, If you know any good products in the cryptospace, this is your Blackfriday discount season. Another way we can look at this is how Bitcoin grew almost 3000% in 2017 and only dropped down over 60% this year, compared to its growth this pullback isn’t that bad.hodl it guys just hodl it.

There's some chance we are already at the bottom. That's definitely now the end of btc. In the next 1-2 weeks, we must see some kind of bounce.

Yes it is true that the price of bitcoin is going down little by little and it is not stopping. That is the main reason why some users quit because of fear that bitcoin might die. But I guess it won't because investors will invest more while the price is low. It will rise again.

I agree with you Bitcoin price did drop during this year but it doesn't mean that it is crashing because price fluctuations are common for any trading asset and it can happen with or without a fault with the asset in Bitcoin this was actually happened because the pressure it got from the outside world and Investors were uncertain but even those situations Bitcoin surviving skills are impressive so definitely this is not the end for bitcoin

I agree, this dip in Bitcoin price means nothing on the wider timeframe, I think it will not last for long time. The fear comes from investors who have not been in Crypto for long time, so they did not experience this kind of volatility. We should not ignore the fact that we need this dip to empty weak hands before any major upward move.

Agreed, it certainly is not end of for bitcoin.  Just an extended discounted sale period.  If conventional trading platform and systems are anything to guy, then we must understand that price fluctuation essentially comes with the territory.  What goes down must come up again IMO, my only concern is the number of people that may have quite crypto in the past year for various reasons.  Most especially the guys that have gone all in at near BTC's ATH and now find themselves to have thousands of dollars.
I believe, markets will recover eventually.

Of course, bitcoin will not die so quickly, because think for yourself, bitcoin is the basis of the entire cryptocurrency market and its technology and technology of the blockchain are very necessary for our world because they are not fully understood and will help us move on a stable path and discover new opportunities that will be very necessary always for us. Now, in my opinion, the biggest manipulation of the cryptocurrency market I have seen over the years is happening, so now you just have to wait until everything is restored, but bitcoin, like the whole market, can start growing only in a few years.

I think most newbies (even someone who has been trading 6-12months) see this price action and gets fed up and sell off.

It even surprised the observers, until it was likened to a bubble because the price had reached almost 20,000 USD in December 2017. After that the price continued to fall until now in the range of 4360 USD. But I am optimistic that prices will increase, because bitcoin has been tested and this is not the end of bitcoin. So we don't rely need to be afraid, even if the bitcoin is really on the huge dip it is still gave a great price.

Of course this is not the end of bitcoin, there is still the time to the price to boom in the future. Today as we can check on the movement on the price, we can notice the price is going down, I am not afraid of it instead for me this is the best time to buy for bitcoin and hold until the price will recover in order to have huge profit.

Yes, once these images are put longer, you will find that the volatility we are experiencing is now negligible compared to the big cycle. Just because we look at the market every day, we will have the illusion of a bitcoin crash,we should see farther places.

Just stay calm and wait for the market to recover. I am not experiencing such times for the first time and I don't see it as tragic at the moment. If things continue as before, the market will recover one day and prices will rise again. So it was the last times and I think it will be again. The times of falling prices are not nice, but only those who do not give up now will benefit from the next price increase.  ;)

This is not the end of Bitcoin. It is was just manipulation. Bitcoin will be back again to it's previous position again very soon. Maybe it will be happen after Bitcoin reach it's bottom price.
Bitcoin prices go down is a reality, not manipulation. Bitcoin holders don't need to panic, because this part of the bitcoin cycle has a time of high prices and sometimes low prices. It must be optimistic that bitcoin will pass all of this to return to being the most sought-after coin by cryptocurrency lovers. If someone says this is the end of bitcoin, then they don't understand the characteristics of bitcoin, and maybe they don't like bitcoin.

Why are we worrying about end of bitcoin , only tge value of bitcoin in the market is going down , it is not totally the end of bitcoin, it is just a season of market falldown due to its volatility, in some other days bitcoin and the cryptomarket might rise up,  that we can just do not know ,but we believe the market will recover sooner.

It has gone below 4k now and market is all in red zone. Bitcoin will not die and it will never end. If you ever think that bitcoin will gonna die because of this market you are wrong simply because we can bear it and many people will support bitcoin until the end. I have one question why some people think that bitcoin will gonna die?

Indeed bitcoin will not die if you think that its because of the market price today, no its not. Its just a nature of bitcoin do not  afraid.  Some people think that bitcoin will gonna die because of the downfall  of the value of bitcoin that keeps falling everyday. Personally, I am disappounted in what happening to the market price however I we need to look for a positivity because negative mind only gives you a stress and anxiety feeling because of the down fall.

Some positive information.

$2 Million: Lightning Network Hits Record Capacity Despite Bitcoin Price Decline
Perhaps it’s unsurprising to readers familiar with Blockstream CEO Adam Back’s recent prediction of a $500,000 Bitcoin, but one of the blockchain startup’s chief technological efforts, the Lightning Network (LN) — which facilitates off-chain Bitcoin payments instantly at very little cost — saw a rise to over $2 million in capacity while the price of Bitcoin sharpened its decline.

I believe this is not the end of bitcoin, in January bitcoin the price will definitely rise as before, at this time I cannot benefit from bitcoin, everyone will surely experience a low economy, the most important thing is we must keep trying to find profits in bitcoin coins

Most investors anticipated too much for a bull run this November and coming December and once that was not shown up, they began to sell off. It is very necessary to learn about how crypto work before investing and not to invest blindly and later cause panic sales which affect the entire market. The market does not follow a particular trend which makes it fixed that it is suppose to rise at certains months and drops at certain months. There is more to the bull market and bear market than just mere anticipation and prediction.

bitcoin won't end that easily, it's just a graph to see the increase in bitcoin in the future. so this is not the end of bitcoin believe me and stay in bitcoin.

Indeed its just a graph that escalate the down and ups of bitcoin price in the market. Bitcoin would not end that easily, because the price of it is volatile. Though the price of bitcoin is down right now, it does not mean it will stay that way. It will come that it will recover sooner or later just believe. Bitcoin will not end as long as many people like us support it, it will never vanish away. I know if the market price is still continue to go down many users are going to panic because the value of bitcoin is decreasing.

Of course this is not the end of bitcoin, we will again enjoy bitcoin when bitcoin rises. I believe we may all be in anxiety when we see the value of bitcoin which is currently falling. But history records bitcoin will always rise from times like this and even the value of bitcoin will increase.

If am not mistaken this is the fourth time Bitcoin went thru a massive fall which is from 70% to 90%. We are, I think now between 80% and 85% down coming off from ATH. But every after a great fall was a great recovery with BTC's price being considerably higher than the last prior to the downtrend. So do we have to be worried? Nah! But we do need to be patient because recovery may actually take some time. Unless Tom Lee's $15K prediction by year end materialized. Crossing my fingers for this!

bitcoin has tempted crypto investors and users to sell when prices are low and some people feel frustrated and sell panic, but those who are optimistic about the existence and benefits of crypto will hold back and they will be happy after the next few years because prices go up multiple times

Is not easily end bitcoin, cause bitcoin value is very unpredictable the value is up and down and it is normal for investment. Just follow the chart and market you'll see the development of value. Bitcoin in the future it will become more progressive it's better to stay in bitcoin.

The difficulties make Bitcoin better, and I do not believe there is anything that could make Bitcoin work. Things are getting better, and Bitcoin needs a stable price, and I think the cost will not be too high. The market is gradually coming back, and tomorrow the market will grow again.

It also puts me here too That's not the end of Bitcoin right now. Because in today's times, most people spend their time on the Internet. And Bitcoin is also an online platform. In which anybody can earn money by doing work or investing. Which is why many people are using bitcoin.

This downtrend has no effect on the life of the prime coin (BTC), bitcoin will always be there no matter what, we as users on the platform have too much of a power to keep it alive, even though the price decreased too much, there's always a time for it to reach its new peak.

We can see a fall and that is not good.
But never expect to see the bitcoin chart to an end or no value.
Everything is normal, people who panic says RIP bitcoin. but look at them once the disaster in the market is done!

"This is not the end of bitcoin"

But as Winston Churchill would say "It's the start of the end" but the real killer blow came nine months ago when fees were
pumped up to £55 per transaction and after that all trust in BTC evaporated nd it's been a zombie ever since and this has been
reflected in the price.

Bullshit about the Lightning network (Banking hubs) did nothing to save it and shit code wasting CPU power to feed money to the likes of
Intel chips via CPU wars was nothing but a scam anyway but no one gave a dam so long as the price was going up.

Look on the good side, you can still buy Tulips even to this day.

That's far from the end - that's just the beginning!
bitcoin has not been destroyed before those who want to do it and I think we continue to live as usual I do not need to think about the length in my opinion

want bitcoin to survive or not, it all depends on bitcoin itself whether he will be more developed with projects that are better and can attract investors so that the price of bitcoin is maintained and rises or the project fails all and the prices are cheaper and never go high again

I think bitcoin life depends on the internet network and investors, as long as there is still an internet network bitcoin will stay alive and can be used because bitcoin has nothing to control and can be used by everyone. everything that happens is already the risk, so we must be able to accept it.

I think I have posted this before, but still relevant :)
52 times Bitcoin died 2010-2018 infographic - But still alive (https://bitcoincasinokings.com/52-times-bitcoin-died-2010-2018-infographic/)

Bitcoin should have died so many times so far, but keeps going on. I think these are the times (or very close) that people remember like "I should've bought it then when Bitcoin was under $4000...but I didn't". Of course nobody knows, but I am not worried at all somehow.

It is possible for many people to assume that the bitcoin's ending time. The current value of Bitcoin is over $ 3k7 and is in danger of dwindling, but I think its development is probably the most valuable coin at the moment. I hope the end of this year the market will return.

Just having to say

"This is not the end of bitcoin"

kind of says it is all but over and from the "Virtually free fees" to having to pay $55 per transaction did it but the zombie
does not seem to know when to die.

Face it guys the software team and miners stabbed you in the back, zombies are up ten nil in the game

Bitcoin should have died so many times so far, but keeps going on

if you want to call "Keeps going down" to keeps going on then I guess you are right but the speed of the drop will decline as
the price goes below $100 I suspect and people "HODL" as they cling on to a pipe dream.

Just like the review title here, this is not the end of Bitcoin, but only natural cycles that often occur in exchange, so don't make negative news about Bitcoin, which can make public opinion as if Bitcoin is dead, causing panic, let's get more to think adults in response to the price of Bitcoin, we know that the price of Bitcoin tends to never be stable.

It is clear that the market is low, we can now have a panic that in the eyes of the buyers is the dream and at this stage the idea of them is to eliminate the small players generating a financial apocalypse. There is no demand to buy bitcoin and the market remains dropping but with low volume.

yes, because bitcoin is a very strong coin even though it often experiences a large decline. because bitcoin is a coin that has a bright future and coins that are turned on by many people that cause bitcoin to become stronger until it can survive until now

This is exactly what the majority of people should think. Just re-read the forums for those periods when the course of Bitcoin has dropped significantly. There you can find a lot of screams: "Bitcoin is a scam"; "Bitcoin has come to an end"; "Bitcoin is dead." But as we see now all these periods of fall courses were just an excellent opportunity to buy bitcoin a lot and cheaply.
Now the situation is repeated again, but most of people will not take advantage of such a great chance.
