you can choose a top rank coin in coinmarketcap in my opinion top 1-10 is not bad to make long-term investment so it depends on your taste you want to choose which coin suits you, I myself still maintain ethereum and tron

Goal setting is the most important. Before doing anything, you should set goals, it will make you more effort. To do this, you should first know what you are afraid of. You can write them down and think about the worst-case scenario. Can you accept it?

for now, no other offer is more promising than bitcoin. however, some altcoins such as ETH, BNB, TRX, LTC, EOS, BSV, BCH, and other popular coins can also be alternatives. however, I would rather choose bitcoin because it's the safest route. consider this, however, choosing a coin other than the top coin will only add to the risk. +1 thats the best choices we can give to you, it will lessen the risk to lose higher if you will only invested in the top crypto currency. In which of them its up to you as long as its in the top your much secured compared to other altcoin in the market.
Ignore other coins that you think that will not give you any profit, you can risk in the altcoin not in the top but dont use all your money  use at least 20% for other alt thats enough want to try other alt also.

I advice that you go on the safe side and that is only invest coins that have proven their worth in the market, there are many to choose from so confined on coins on their performance int he market for the last three years and their development on those times, I believe you can pick 5 to 8 coins and add it to your portfolio.

I always look at the graphs.
History checking with how much the price started and how it changes monthly or whatever span you prefer.

If it is bitcoin then do so. Invest in it as early as you could.
With altcoins I always prefer Ethereum. No problem with trust. Popularity, check!
So the possibilities for the value to rise will always be there specially now that people are hyping the staking method.

Who do you think has the greatest adoption?

That would be the first question because in terms of cryptocurrency the one who generates mass adoption is the king.

Why? Because for a certain crypto to be consider as a currency it should have a number of people who will patronize it and honestly in our case bitcoin was the most popular.

However, I am not saying that bitcoin will still the king as years go by, it depends on the mass what coin they will support.

Now what are the reasons why are they supporting these coins?
It will somehow base on the purpose or feature of the coin or maybe because of the hype it was generating.

Assuming you're very new to cryptocurrencies, I would recommend investing a little money into the larger cryptocurrencies like Ethereum and Bitcoin and then diversifying into smaller ones later once you gain more experience. There's a ton of factors you can look for when deciding what crypto to invest in, but for the smaller ones some of the things to think about might be the size of the intended target audience and the viability of the project itself. Many newer projects tend to lack in either of these two and end up failing, but it's also good to realize that there's plenty of scams out there too. You'll learn to find likely scams with experience, as most of them tend to not be very elaborately laid out.

There are questions that you will need to consider before buying any coins, yes, I do agree BTC would be the safest investment however just like what I said, you have to see first the market condition. If you are a newbie, better to go with top coins/tokens. Again, consider factors such as, are you going to hold for long or short term? Such questions/factors that you need to consider.

Here is my little advice as there are many coins or altcoins out there and if you will visit in coinmarketcap there are 5k plus currencies that are listed there. So you wise decision is to pick at least 3-5 currencies that gives a good sign of increasing and make sure that you will base your checking in 2-3 months of their graph.

Check also their ATH and their price increase starting from December 2019 until now, if you find a currency that gives a potential increase in just a short period of time and their ATH is very high compare to their current price then you can invest to it. Investing needs your effort in order to become successful and don't be lazy or you funds will just fade easily.

there is no such thing as Sincere or if they have here?so very rare occasions because most of us are supporting our own choices of currency so that means we will advice you to Bet on our Holdings.
if you are looking for rightful advice?then that is not to Just listen to anyone tells you this and that, instead make your own research about the currency you will be investing because it is not our money ,that is yours so better keep it safer and let your decision saves you from losing.
but on the top of all?it is BITCOIN that is safer but for long time not for easy money.

Look out for coins or tokens that are really regulated, by so doing should the project want to exit scam, sec will go after them and at least you get a refund of your money. Be weary of projects without any form of government control.

It is important to know the platform well before investing anywhere . One needs to know better how much of the platform is used and how much interest
people are and also future . After knowing everything , you need to set your own goals which will be long term, and if you post goals for short term, stay away from the investment. Investing in a project is likely to be a profit-losing dice . You will invest in a project with kept in mind.

There are so many choices, I agree but do not get misled by assuming those are all "good choice". If you want peace of mind along with good ROI then choose only bitcoins. Again, if you want to risk more then invest 80% of your capital into bitcoins and for remaining 20% risk with few 2 to 5 highly reputed coins. Do not listen to the people who suggest about staking and masternode things. They may be good or not but not yet proven. In my opinion, you may risk only 5% for such coins and anything more than that may trouble in your overall ROI calculation after certain period of time.

If I were you, in terms of knowledge on crypto investments then I will simply invest all 100% into bitcoins and will focus on making more capital for more crypto investments. But, unfortunately I did not know opening such topic for ideas in my early days of crypto career.

As a newbie, I dont know if your knowledge on cryptocurrency is wide enough to ask for some inevstment here. Especially if its very risky. Were talking about possible losing of your money here. But for the sake of answering just pick the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. These coins can be good for starter plus the risk isnt that high compared to a lot of coins and tokens out there.

We can give you some suggestions here where you can choose coins that one loves to invest based on their experience. Regardless of all the coins suggested here, at the end of the day you will still doing some research and will decide which coins will you gonna buy.

Let me help you how to choose a good coin for crypto investments.
  • Look for the most promising coin ( had a good reputation, established and useful platforms)
  • A coin that will give you good ROI and profits
  • Top performing coins usually had a good opportunity for good returns

I believe you are still new in this field, so why not try to hold one coin first before doing some diversfying? I started like that before.

How much money do you have? If you can buy 1 bitcoin, then I suggest you buy 1 bitcoin at a low price. You can watch bitcoin price first to know the lower price, and if you see that bitcoin price has a red candle at the market, then that means the price is at a low price. But that doesn't mean that the price cannot get lower than the price now because bitcoin price can get lower for more or it will increase higher after that price. But no matter if you cannot get the lower or lowest price, as long as you can hold bitcoin until the price increase more than the price you bought, you will make a profit.

Read and keep following the team before buying and start investing your money, coin/s with real usage and already gained good numbers of supporters are coin that you can invest with minimal chances of losing your entire investment.
There's a lots of chances to get something good with top coins especially with bitcoin but you need to understand the principle of your investment and
how good you can take the possibilities of losing your money.

You can look for top crypto in the market,

Study their products, uses and learn how to determine a good project. Don't bother to listen on other people's opinion on what coin is good for an investment. It is better to have your own knowledge from your own investment.
Also, you should try to learn about when is the good timing to invest. It is also required when investing, not only how good the project and its product, but also the timing of your investment.

If you have a lot of funds for now investing in bitcoin is pretty good, it looks like the price of bitcoin has increased and if you want to invest in altcoin also right now is the right time because all altcoins are increasing following the bitcoin footprint, the most important thing is choosing familiar coins like eth , ltc xrp and other top coins in cmc.

You have to gain knowledge and conduct a research before investing in crypto, thats the first thing that you should do as a newbie. When it comes to choosing what coins to invest in, look for coins that has use cases and can solve real problem.

Its better to choose a popular coins (particularly bitcoin) to make sure you wont end up in shitcoins. But still it depends on your decision, there are new coins that has potential but its quite risky to invest your money since you dont know if it can survive especially during bearish market wherein most coins are losing their value and cant recover even the market is recovering.

Stay out of the new projects I am not saying that they are scam but most of them usually ends up dropping low due the high investors bonus and bounty or airdrop hunters.
What I would suggest is choose between the top alt-coins at the coinmarketcap,
For me if you are new in trading then the top 10 could be the best for you or find a project on the top 100 and see if any of them would get you interested to their project.

In my opinion, the situation on the cryptocurrency market is very interesting. The Ethereum coin is now starting to grow, and thus there is the opportunity to receive investment income. I think that now is the very moment when there is a chance to increase your funds. So the Ethereum coin gives positive forecasts for the future and this means that you can invest in Ethereum.

Investing in top coins is a good choice but before he starts, I think he needs to know those products clearly, what is the purpose of this product or is it good for the future, he needs to do a research from start to finish, instead of blindly believing offers and encouragement. Profits will not automatically be added to someone's pocket without effort, especially in this market, knowledge is the most preferred condition if we want to invest here, possessing a too poor knowledge, it can cause us to lose our initial capital and regret later.

Being a great investor doesn't necessarily come. There must be a price to become a great one. Let me tell you something, no-one here can give you good advice. If you really want to become a good investor, you should at least have a lot of bad investments first and win massively at the end.

People here would tell you to avoid taking high risks investments. Ask them if they won as investors and see how many would say "yes they did". Learn by losing is better than winning without any lessons. The character must be built in order to win the game. Also, implement this in your self, "do your own research and not relying other's opinion.

Decisions are not taken too fast. Most investors are thinking more than once before putting up some investmen. Well regards to the coins youve asked. May I ask if you have experienced already on trading cause if not, I suggest to put up some ground research first and basic tips cause investing on cryptocurrency is really risky.

I suggest you buy if you cant wait is bitcoin and ethereum these two can give you some pretty decent profits as these two are the top coins and has many supporters.

Try to check out first those coin that is on the Top 50 ranks. Most those coins can easily recover that will happen to them because of the fact that they have so many supporters. Also, they are the most trusted coin by the investors so you must not be afraid on getting scammed. After that, you should avoid selling your coin if the price of it is not profitable enough for you. Hold it until it becomes worth it to sell.

Information is your best ally when investing. It is easy to just pick from the top 10 coins from coinmarketcap but there is no guarantee that it will yield you good profits. But if you arm yourself with information about the coins available out there, you can decide for yourself when to get in or out of that investments. You can make plans on your own investments and not just rely on suggestions from others.

Yet there are so many coin out there but you will just pick one on which of the coins will you invest. I suggest that you can pick between bitcoin and ethereum, why? Simply because this two coins are the most reliable coins in the market and the most high liquidity in terms of number and also they are the one who has the fluctuating is very unpredictable even though all of the cryptocurrency are fluctuating, this two are the one who is fluctuating very hard and also when you invest on bitcoin there is a greater chance that your coin will double when the bullish comes so better to think about where you will invest your funds.

Pick the cheapest but is on top of the market rank because that means the potential profit that is to come when the price goes up will huge. TRX today is worth $0.02 which means you could have a lot of it still even if you only have $200 worth to invest to it. The decision will always be with you though but whichever coin you may choose pick the ones that are already in the market and had ranked up.

That's a pretty hard question to answer.

You need to think about the risk/reward aspect here.
If you've got TONS of money on hand, you should buy the top 10 coins, as they are the safest option.

If you've got a tiny amount (less than $5000), you could go for low tier coins, you just need to do some proper research on them first though.

Blocknet is a project I could easily see pull a 100x eventually (Next major bull run), due to their DEX platform taking off, providing service node owners with a ton of passive income, including their Xrouter which is a decentralized oracle network.

There are tons of great projects to choose from, but do your own research, before you buy in to any of them. :)

Educate yourself first about the crypto market and start studying the different background of the crypto coins and how they move in the market. I suggest to focus more in bitcoin as this is the safest coin for now and it will guarantee good returns if you start investing in it for long term. There are also top altcoins in the market which can add to your investment like ethereum which is also a potential coin to invest.

Look at the top coins on coinmarketcap and find what you need from them such as the news and development updates also the price movement because those are the thing that you need to actually determine if those certain coins are worth to try or not. Just asking the tips without doing it by yourself doesn't make you grow up.

I recommend investing in coins that are ranked in the top 50 coin marketcaps.
For certain newbies might just limit them to at least top 10 IMO. A typical beginner should always take precaution especially if he has no skills and basic knowledge in trading. Top 50 is quite broad already. Imagine KickICO got listed there last week, and now not even on top 100 its too easy by manipulative coins yo be listed there and if newbie found them as gem but in reality just a scam? What would happened right.

I guess they are not satisfied with other people's threads and it is better to ask for themselves. Yeah, but I'll try to suggest it.
however, to make the right decision, you need to do research first. whether it's about a new coin, or an old one. try to do research on the coins I mentioned below
BTC
ETH
BNB
BSV
BCH
EOS
LTC
and the top 20 CMC coins
many people invest in the coins that I have mentioned today.

I guess they are not satisfied with other people's threads and it is better to ask for themselves. Yeah, but I'll try to suggest it.

That's the problem here. People dont read or observed what is prohibited or not. Yes this inquiry has been so many times asked here but people still creating new threads. For what sake, I dont know why spamming for others are so easy to tolerate. People dont mind that some topics are becoming redundant. Yes sometimes they dont know, if got ask or not but this common one has been here on this section everyday with new poster and new format but still same question. Which coin to invest. Tsk.

OP locked the thread. Not satisfied with 3pages of same answers already?

Please be sincere.

Thanks

There are several threads regarding this topic already, and its easy to be honest.

All you have to do is study and find out the type of product that the [project has to offer.

Figure if their team is that of professionals or gamblers. Check their roadmap, if it was obeyed.
Then do further researches before staking your claims.

It depends on what your plan is, are you in for long term investment plan or short term investment plan? Both are good if you go for Bitcoin and it never disappoints but for altcoins which at more risky it's better you go for long-term because that's just how altcoins are.

Since you’re still a newbie why don’t you start with Bitcoin? Bitcoin is the main thing that brought us all together here and is the first investment most of us consider. Bitcoin is not just considered most in terms of investment, but is also the cryptocurrency with the most usage.

When I started with cryptocurrency my first investment was in Bitcoin and after a year getting to two, I decided to also Branch out to other cryptocurrencies as well, and I would say that Bitcoin has benefitted me more than any other cryptocurrency that I ever invested in. There are times you would invest in altcoins and the price of altcoins would be going down while Bitcoin is going up. Before you start investing in these altcoins you must have been around here for sometime and understood how everything works.

We have hundreds of threads asking for the same question. Using the search will find you those threads but you don't have to look for that much what to invest if you still have this one very coin in your portfolio.
- BTC
I guess they are not satisfied with other people's threads and it is better to ask for themselves. Yeah, but I'll try to suggest it.
however, to make the right decision, you need to do research first. whether it's about a new coin, or an old one. try to do research on the coins I mentioned below
BTC
ETH
BNB
BSV
BCH

EOS
LTC
and the top 20 CMC coins
many people invest in the coins that I have mentioned today.
I will cross out the two bitcoin fork coins. Many don't think that it's a good investment because it's claiming the position of bitcoin. And do you agree with that idea they have in their minds?
I don't think that it's been a good idea to invest and support those so I say no to those two forks.

you can choose a top rank coin in coinmarketcap in my opinion top 1-10 is not bad to make long-term investment so it depends on your taste you want to choose which coin suits you, I myself still maintain ethereum and tron

It doesn't work like this. Market cap isn't the only indicator you should be looking at. The most important factor is utility.
If a coin does nothing and is only a fork of a fork like BSV it can have all the market cap in the world and it will still be a vulnerable shitcoin that brings nothing ne to the table.
The only reason for its value is that it was forked from Bitcoin and some people believed that Craig could be Satoshi.

Don't choose coins at random because they have a high market cap. First and foremost get some BTC then invest the rest in the coin that you think might be important for the ecosystem.

First, you must diversify your funds into some coins, never put it only in one choice.
The coins you must invest are BTC and ETH. For the other coins, you can see on the Coin Market Cap and see some top coins. I prefer to choose Dash and BNB.
You may also search for the newcomer likely OGN as listed on Binance and other new altcoins. Of course, doing your own research must be done exactly after reading some comments here.

Not really the case at all.

Bitcoin has a huge market capitalization, therefore it's hard to produce drastic market movements because the amount of capital that needs to move into the market is huge.

However, for altcoins, even the largest altcoins like Ethereum, they have a market capitalization at least 7x lower. Therefore 1/7th of the money moving into these markets will produce a percentage gain equal to that of Bitcoin.

The thing is, these altcoins get more than 1/7th of the new capital moving into the market, hence why they often experience huge gains when the market is pumping.

Firstly, you need to learn the basics of crypto trading and I believe bitcointalk is resourceful enough to provide you the necessary information you need as regards trading. Investing in ICO or IEO is what I can't encourage you to participate in it for now because hardly will you see any project that you can profit from if you do not even get to incur a loss. BTC has been the major coin people trade on but it requires patience and perseverance, It is not a quick rich process but when you take your time to study the market and be patient, you could make profit

I think this is not about "which coins should I get" but more about "how do you decide which coin is good" basically a way of saying "do not give me a fish and feed me for a day, teach me how to fish and... fishing is not really that hard". Basically whatever we do to decide which coin is the one we buy is the thing he wants to know about and not the coin we ended up buying, the method we use or basically the path we take, not the end of the journey.

I personally look at the volume first which is very important, liquidity second, the community third, and the team behind it if there is one (like bitcoin don't have one, so there are ones like that out there) at the last because team is not that important, if a coin is really good, it goes way beyond the team, look at litecoin and Charlie Lee for example.

Have to agree with you on this. Litecoin is one of those cryptocurrencies which have been performing better than expected, despite the drawbacks in the algorithm and the technology that supports it. As you pointed out, the biggest advantage with Litecoin has been its team (led by Charlie Lee). The LTC team have been working hard for the past few years to remove the security issues and bugs and as a result they are well ahead of the "third generation" cryptocurrencies such as Cardano and NEO.

I'm not going to say anything new but stressing out a few things and I'm in crypto for around three years now. You being a newbie don't invest in low cap coins as it may be high risk and there will be high volatility in the crypto space. Always check for the liquidity and stay with the good and big exchanges like Binance, Okex, Huobi. For avoiding liquidity issues and volatility consider investing only with the Top 10 coins in market. And always have around 30 to 40% exposure in BTC which would be a good option to consider.

Buying ethereum will be fine, but that depends on how big his money to invest in crypto. If he has $1,000 then yes, he can buy ethereum to invest, but if he only has less than $1,000, then I think he can split his money to buy ethereum and another cheap coin so he will have two or three coins as the investment. I am sure he will have so many options of the low price coin so he can choose to buy more than two coins, and hold it until the coins can increase someday.

It’s worth investing in new altcoins if they conduct IEOs on top exchanges, and altcoins that conduct ICOs will not give you anything good, you can also invest in top altcoins or bitcoin and you will always be sure that no one will deceive you, because top altcoins and bitcoin will not go anywhere.

In my opinion, if you have large or small funds you are better off investing in EThereum or LTC. because both of these coins have good potential for investment. and also you have to look at price and volume movements when before investing in one of the coins.

That's right, investing in bitcoin and altcoin top obviously won't hurt us, just we also need to know when the right time to invest in them, because if there is a trend of falling prices, then it's better not to invest first, wait until the market really recovered and feasible for us to invest, only if investing in the long run, it also does not matter, provided we have the patience to wait for price increases.

First suggestion from me is don't hear anyone prediction to buy any coin.you can gather knowledge but you should choose coin yourself. If you are new in trading you can choose btc, because btc is the king and it will give you good return than others coin.if you want to invest without bitcoin then ETH,BNB,LTC,EOS will be best choice.keep in mind never buy low quality coin before buying any crypto make your own research.

I don't think you should invest on any coin based on this thread,it just should be for learning purpose but only you should make investments when you know this is the right coin for your investment plan.

i would like to suggest bitcoin and other top rated coin. But you have to study more.because without knowledge investing money is risky and not wise decision.

I understand your desire to invest in this market since it has an incredible potential but if you do not know anything about investing why are you in such a rush to put your money at risk? Will you try to do a surgery without the necessary medical training? This is the same, investing is an incredibly deep topic and you will need at least some months just to learn the basics and a few years to master it, it is better you begin your education as soon as possible instead of trying to find tips from strangers over the Internet about such an important decision.

If you have a good amount of fund for investment, then you should buy the Bitcoin first, if you have less amount then ignore the Bitcoin because it's a high priced coin now, so, buy Ethereum, Litecoin, Link, ATOM, NEO, ONT, NPXS, FX, VIDT, LTO coins. I would prefer those altcoins that value between 1-30$! Because in the next pump, all the coins price will increase and you will get a good profit from various coins at the same time.

Goal setting is the most important. Before doing anything, you should set goals, it will make you more effort. To do this, you should first know what you are afraid of. You can write them down and think about the worst-case scenario. Can you accept it?

I think he is asking some investment-worthy coins name! Sometimes even a crypto expert feels confusions! So, by suggesting some good coins name we can help each other to do good in the crypto space!

This is a good idea, don't gamble your investment on some high risk altcoins pick a proper coin to invest in, and also take in to consideration thencoins that has a price that is very lower than it's all time high, for example the xrp it's price now is 0.27 dollars but it's all time high is 14 dollars you can buy many ripple for the price of .27 and if the ripple can achieve again it's all time high you can increase your profits in several fold, but that is just an example.

Yes if you are planning to invest some money make bitcoin your priority because everyone knows its worth your money specially now that halving is coming this summer, you also need to maximize your portfolio so that you won't loss bigtime and minimize it, choose multiple altcoins such as Eth, Xrp, ltc to fill your portfolio. Just do not focus on one coin and have your sense in multiple cryptos.

I believe that it is best to invest in BTC and top altcoins like ETH and LTC. In my opinion, this cryptocurrency will show growth over the next year or two and you can earn on them. I assume that the cryptocurrency market has now entered a new growth phase and how in the previous phases it was able to show excellent results and new heights. In any case, try to buy different cryptocurrencies, so you can avoid all the loss of funds, and if you are lucky you can make good money.

We do not really know the investment term suitable for OP as he forgot to mention about the same. Bitcoins would always be a better source of investment for long term as the price would surely rise in the coming times but OP needs to be patient while investing into bitcoins. There are some other coins which might make profits for OP in a short term but investing into those would also bring some risk along.

OP seems newbie in trading and newbies should always try to find a source of investment with minimum risk even if it has minimum profits. Most of the times, newbies run behind huge money and that is where they need to forget about their initial capital and which might even make them face loss.

Also you should invest in the top altcoins in this market, Top 50 coinmarketcap is the best altcoin you can invest.

From experience to avoid a bad tales that could take a pounce on your health and psychological well being. Just go for coins that are at the top with a higher percentage of your fund. Say 90% with the remaining 190%b you can  analyse a low cap coin and trade with caution.

You should always try to ignore what others say and that is what would make you fill some profits. The first and foremost thing which newbies should consider is to avoid investing into coins which are been suggested by others. This is the time where you have to use your own brain to make some profits. You can choose some of the top coins from the coinmarketcap and invest in some parts into some of these coins. You have to learn how to analyze and understand the charts and patterns as it would help you to spot a exact entry and exit point. This is where you would have profits.

Try investing into 2-3 coins including bitcoins, etherum, ripple, etc and gain some experience from these coins first and then you can move onto some other coins having comparatively lower volume. Never forget to check the liquidity first.

Choosing top cryptos like ethereum, ripple and bitcoin will be a better choice, aside from you can learn a lot, you can also experience a lot due to their possible movement in the market.

If a new coin appears I don't think we should put it in our portfolio, because the new coin needs further development, so that it can compete with the highest altcoin, and for the matter of purchasing on BTC I strongly agree, because BTC is a coin the good of all time.

Investing in an established coin than in new coins secures your fund, but it doesn't eliminate the risk of you losing your money.  No one can give you the best altcoin to invest in. It all depends on you since it is your money, you better make in-depth research on which coin has good potential.

There's consideration that needs to take care before you decide what particular projects that you'll going to invest your money. The best practice still
is to do your research and make sure that you have a good and deeper insight with particular coin or coins to place your money.  Make sure to continue
working with the potentials and progressing assets.

i like the last two terms you mention on your last sentence  . that is potential and progressing   . this is the factors that we should consider when picking up a coin  and not just those who are only on the top spot or large coins because not all of them have a progression  . many of them are infact already stopped progressing and dont go out on the limelight anymore  . and most of all invest only a portion of your funds because investing always has its own risk , not all times the value will rise but it takes time to earn even on a good coin  .

My advice is you should try crypto investment simulation and crypto trading, because many beginners often make big mistakes to lose a lot of money. In the simulation you can understand more about crypto and how to anticipate the risk of loss. Basically, my advice is to increase your knowledge about crypto and don't be in a hurry let alone invest because of FOMO.

Investment simulation references: https://cryptospaniards.com/simulator/ or https://bitcoinhero.me/

If you want to invest in Altcoin then the choice should be right certainly do not get harmed with an unclear altcoin, according to my watchcase in the market when many investors who choose an altcoin that already has a potential like ETH, BNB, XRP because The coin is very promising so that the price will continue to increase for the future, then the suggestion I choose the coin.

The most correct decision is to invest in those coins that will grow in any case and will not disappear. This is of course Bitcoin and altcoins from the top 10. But I recommend 10% of the invested funds to invest in new altcoins, because they can give more growth than 90% of the coins from the list of top 10.

Thanks

Choosing altcoin as a long-term investment, in my opinion we can see it in coinmarketcap. Large liquidity and actively traded on large exchangers is one factor that needs to be considered. If a token or coin has large liquidity, we have no trouble selling it when we need money

Buy some alts from the CMC top 100 coins. All of them are good and can give you a good profit in time. I can mention some of them here. I think these projects are worth looking Tezos(XTZ), MKR, ATOM, ZIL, BNB, LINK, etc. Just take a look at these projects maybe you will something interesting. And don't put any money into crypto that you can not afford to lose. That was just a suggestion.

Investing in an established coin than in new coins secures your fund, but it doesn't eliminate the risk of you losing your money.  No one can give you the best altcoin to invest in. It all depends on you since it is your money, you better make in-depth research on which coin has good potential.
you still do not understand that no one wants to analyze anything? everyone needs prepared solutions. people always want to shift responsibility to others and then say that they were advised of a bad coin or good. there will always be people on the market who will invest according to the stories of other people and they will not do their own research and after that, they will cry

Always invest what you are prepare to lose - if you make bad decision - loss is than what you expected to lose, if you pick good project and make profit, its like you win in bet - happy times.

Big coins are not sure profit, try to find relatively new coin , deployed in last year or two, with stable price and launched products - usability cases. I found one 3 months ago, and i am sorry that i am not there from start.

The decision surely lies in your hands but i can help you with some factors that you should look at before investing into any cryptocurrency or blockchain project. Consider the following factors:
1. A project with working products or at an MVP
2. An active and communicative team members who engage members of their community
3. Good token economics that will drive liquidity to the coin.

Every newbie should try to learn about crypto first before making a decision, I was once a newbie and altcoin was my first decision in the past, wasted over 2year gathering useless coins, now I'm glad I quickly learn my mistakes, top 100 coins is the best way to start, ignore those coins under top 100

Personally, I think to make the right decision on investing. You need to choose the right option for investment since there are a lot of promising coins with great development potential on the cryptocurrency market. I believe that at the moment the most profitable investment of their funds is Ethereum. Ethereum is currently the most promising coin of the future.

Well, talking about me, the most advanced discovery is GET protocol. In few words, GET Protocol offers a blockchain-based smart ticketing solution that can be used by anybody who wants to sell tickets in an honest and transparent way. And just imagine how large market is and how solution can help here. Also, for example, GET team announced that they are moving into the Korean market. On top of that, GET Protocol will be the first BApp in the ticketing vertical to partner with Klaytn, the blockchain subsidiary of Kakao (look that name up if you don't know it..). And around 300k tickets are sold already via GET. This is the amazing example of real solution that brings real benefits. Also interested in your opinion. Of course, I also recommend you to have a closer look at their website to have a deeper understanding of unique features guys are coming with

Previously, I suggest you learn technical and fundamental analysis. Also, learn investment strategies that fit your passion. Cryptocurrency is not static, it changes every time, and choices for long-term and short-term investments also influence the choice. So understand that first.
In fact, all coins and tokens that are ranked highest in coinmarketcap have good potential. The most decisive thing is the result of the analysis to determine the right timing for buy and sell. So it's not just simply: this is good or that is good, but there are things that are even more complex, whether this is for the short or long term, is there any supporting news or rumors, etc.

This sounds like a good idea. Don't invest in gambling small caps, better go with the big boys like Ethereum or Bitcoin. Do lots of research and select only projects you truely understand. Then I am sure you will select good projects.

The moment of risk diversification is the most interesting in this case. To invest in coins such as Bitcoin and Etherium would not really recommend, all these coins are exploited by big whales, which control the course and just earn on those who believe in the coin. But in the altcoins and small coins, I advise to look at and analyze, after which has already distributed in 8-10 parts of its bank and scatter funds for promising projects, and then wait for growth) Since one coin can later block the investment in all 10 and you can already reach breakeven.

Well, I will tell you to explore the market on your own to see the answer for your question. All of us here in this forum do have our different experiences and different perspective towards different existing cryptocurrencies within the market so it might just lead you to confusion if you will be just hearing out all our suggestions and it will make you a hard time to decide. You can easily see potential coins within the internet once you dive in because the search will display the most commonly used cryptocurrency with the highest demand and improved prices so it will not be hard for you to start up. Once you have already understand what you need to understand and think to get out of the box to explore other existing cryptocurrencies in the vast market, better do background check by doing certain researches about a certain cryptocurrency you wish to invest with. Better to educate yourself first before doing such decisions and always remember not to go all in with just a single crypto. Also invest with precaution and only invest the amount you can afford to loose.

Diversification is the key to success. Bitcoin itself is a good investment. I'd recommend anyone to hold at least 25% of their crypto valuation in bitcoin.
That bitcoin too can be invested in several forms. And can easily make you a better return than keeping your money in banks.
Than comes investing, though the popular altcoins are safe investment, the newer coins have the larger potential for profit. But in selecting the new coin, you should look for different aspects and look for it's reviews everywhere.

That's right, it's definitely better to spend a little time doing research on what we want to invest, because there are already so many who regret when investing without doing research first, because it's better we know it first rather than having to regret it later on.

First and foremost,
Before you invest, you should know your investment. It is the most important part of investment to analyze every needed information of your investment. Investing do not start with asking someone what to invest and what to decide for your own investment.
This is your investment and your own monry. Do not let other people to decide for your own good. Explore it by yourself and know everything you need to learn.

Before investing in something at least put aside some hours to research about the option. Sometimes you may find it flawless but other may find some red flags on it. The best place to start looking for them is the forum itself. I have saved myself a several times realizing the coin I was thinking of investing were actually a scam.

Yes, you are right, but it is also better to consider less known coins, which, for example, have just appeared on the stock exchange and those that are just beginning to conduct ICO. The growth prospects of such coins are very great.

Just remember to invest in the major altcoin may give more guarantee to avoid the possibility to get a big loss like when we were investing in the altcoin but with a small amount and OP will get only really small amount of coins. It's better to put even small amounts to the trusted altcoins. that may bring a decent profit in the short term too.

Yeah, it is always difficult, nobody really knows how to invest properly because nothing is a good investment forever, even the best things in the world will eventually cease to exist.

Even if you bought apple/amazon type of stocks 10-20 years ago and profited insanely today, you will eventually lose all your money in 50-100 years when they are gone, so you HAVE TO get out sometime, which is the deal here, not to find a good coin to buy and invest but to know when to get out, there has been a lot of people who have lost money due to prices going down but the number of people who didn't get out at the correct time and lost money are far greater than people who got in too late and simply just lost. Learn when to buy and what to buy, but master what to sell and when to sell it.
This is the problem with many investors, many prefer to use a strategy to buy and hold forever and while there is no doubt holding your coins can be profitable that is only the case once you choose a good moment to sell, as such most investment strategies are incomplete since they only take into account entry points but they have no way to stop their losses or to realize their potential gains, so before investing in anything it is is better to have a very clear strategy about how you are planning to achieve your goal of making money in the markets.

The mission is to expand the current Internet to all areas of the world and to allow everyone to use this Internet at a fraction of its current price, but of course, I recommend you to have a closer look at their website to have a deeper understanding of the concept. Look, you have funds to make investments. These are your funds. You will be risking your money with investments. So, you will know whats the best for you. Taking random peoples financial suggestion from the internet isn't the best thing to do. They might give you suggestions that makes no sense at all or might instead be harmful for you, but they don't care. After its your investment you will be losing, not theirs.
Even if you do follow their suggestions, make sure you do your own research too instead of blindly believing them.

Study cryptocurrency, study trading and build yourself so you can make good investment decision. We can suggest to buy bitcoin but we cannot help you to become a better person because if there’s a bad situation in the market for sure you will panic because you are not fundamentally prepared. Avoid listening to the suggestions which want you to buy some coins that you have no idea what it is. I guess you have an idea what bitcoin is? and that's what I'm telling you to buy. Your funds should be invested there first before other altcoins that they are telling you unless you are interested to their suggestions. Buying bitcoin is already an investment these days and you keep it to your wallet, wait for sometime until it grows. But it doesn't grow overnight, there will be ups and downs.

You can make a good decision on what investment to make by doing the following:

1. Follow the social media handles and be active there.

2. Read about the project critically and about the team

3. Critically review the whitepaper and not be moved by emotions.
4. Check through the roadmap for their further plans. If it is in line with what you need from a project then you can go ahead and invest.

5. Another is listen and be attentive to what people said about the project. Some should be real. Etc.

No one will give you a ready-made correct answer whose performance will meet your expectations.
Study the forum, see how people like you acted and received similar answers, what they invested in and how the fate of their investment came about.

Etc.
It is really good that you should check social media where almost all of the promotions are held there so you can get information about the particular project you want to invest your money in. Studying that information and making some plans will guide you to your success and make some big profit, knowledge is important. The whitepaper will give you every single information about the project so it is better for you to check and read the whitepaper because in there, you can notice if that particular project will succeed or will their platform can encourage every other investor?
No one will give you a ready-made correct answer whose performance will meet your expectations.
Study the forum, see how people like you acted and received similar answers, what they invested in and how the fate of their investment came about.

Those who follow the advice of others and follow the thoughts of others usually repeat the mistakes of people who express these thoughts and advice.

Asking also might help for getting some ideas and important information so there's nothing wrong with it. What you have said is indeed true that if he really wants to learn, he should have to study not only the forum but also the market because it is important to know whether we cannot predict price as long as we know what is happening it is good.

It is important to choose only most advanced and promising decisions with plans. For example, my choice is Threefold Network. Guys are building the biggest decentralized grid of self-managing Internet capacity in the world that is being built collectively by an inclusive ecosystem and owned by everyone But of course, much better option is to Google guys and check out their website for more info on the solution, I believe you will be also impressed with the tech side

I would suggest you to look into dollar cost average strategy if you do quick google search about :bitcoin dollar cost average you will find lots of studies and experiment of different users of reddit ( old study (https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/c66sl3/dollar_cost_averaging_bitcoin/)) and what i have seen over the years dollar cost averaging BTC is far better than throwing money into other altcoins. So no matter which crypto you pick for investment always set goals for selling and taking profit.

This is sensible advice, I do not know how many times I have seen people asking for investment advice and they do not really have an idea at all about how to invest, the most successful investors around the world do not follow the advice of anyone blindly, they are able to find on their own good opportunities to make money in the markets, and if you plan to have any kind of success then you need to emulate them, we cannot base decisions that will affect our future by the advice that we read on the Internet from people which we do not know about their skills on the field of investing, so you need to learn how to invest on your own or stop doing it at all.

It much better to invest in a coin that exists for a long time and has a good reputation, I don't recommend jumping into a newly created project with no assurance that it will last or survive in this industry so many altcoins does not survive some are turned scam, bankrupt, etc. I should say Bitcoin is the safest but since you are posting here on altcoin board ETH is the best choice.

I agree with that, better invest on top coins in the market. Also better not invest in new coins because eventually project will turns scam since other new coins become not valuable in the market, in my opinion. For us to have a good decisions is to give some time to search which is best to invest your funds.

I can't ask you how much you want to invest. If you have big funds and you can any than do it now in Bitcoin. Only 2 months away before halving time of Bitcoin after enough profits you can change your Bitcoin to altcoins. I know you already mentioned some funds but we all wanna say some funds

The easiest advice for investing is not to put all your eggs in one basket, hoping that one kind of good coin will grow. I would recommend storing part of the money in Bitcoin. You also need a lot of luck ;)

Well, if you are here, you are probably considering investing in cryptocurrencies, so I would answer for that.

The trick for a successful crypto portfolio is to diversify among multiple cryptocurrencies, probably in different sectors. You can start by investing in the top coins such as Bitcoin, ETH, and Ripple and move on to buying other less-common yet high-potential coins like Titan coin.

While bitcoin is a high volatility coin, which offers rewards that come with high risks, the other cryptocurrencies are somewhat less risky. Combining these into your crypto portfolio will ensure you avoid unwanted risks yet receive good returns from your investments.

However, if you are someone who is ready to take a lot of risks for high rewards, you can search for and invest in the coins that are known to produce good returns over shorter periods.

Titan coin (https://titanprojects.co/) is a Bitcoin alternative that offers a powerful global, peer-to-peer payment system to the masses. Titan coin is more of a stable cryptocurrency that was originally created for payments in day-to-day matters.

It comes with a number of use cases in the form of titan projects or apps that boost the demand and value of the coin in the market. So, if you want your crypto investments to give high returns in the long term, this is the coin you should invest in.

you can choose a top rank coin in coinmarketcap in my opinion top 1-10 is not bad to make long-term investment so it depends on your taste you want to choose which coin suits you, I myself still maintain ethereum and tron

Not the worst but not the best choice.

The market moves synchronously and everyone has long known what it makes sense to choose from the same if the price moves in the same direction for all assets from the top 100.
It is best to turn your attention to the main cryptocurrency, that is, bitcoin, and consider one or two types of alternative coins.
I would diversify the remaining funds and invest them in assets located outside the crypto market.

If he wants a quick cash out,  i think he should be on the lookout for pump and dump coins. But if he's in for a long term, i think he should invest in major coins/token that are guaranteed of seeing price surge when ever the bull set in. And as well,  if he's in for risky and massive turn out investment,  he can check out projects conducting ieo's especially on major cryptocurrency exchanges

You probably know what investment in cryptocurrency is all about, first you should know it's not a get rich quick scheme, now I think it will be best for you to invest in bitcoin and Ethereum. Then you take time to study some few altcoins to invest later, also you should have patience to hold whatever coin you are investing.

If you are planning to invest and yet, you are not that much familiar in crypto, it would be better to have your research first in order for you to have an initial idea of what you are engaging yourself with. To have a bigger chance of earning profit, invest only to those cryptos having 'huge names' in this industry such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and the likes. These coins are having bigger chances of recovery during downtrends due to the demand that these coins are getting.
You probably know what investment in cryptocurrency is all about, first you should know it's not a get rich quick scheme, now I think it will be best for you to invest in bitcoin and Ethereum. Then you take time to study some few altcoins to invest later, also you should have patience to hold whatever coin you are investing.
The idea of earning huge profit easily is the misconception in cryptocurrency. Risk should still be regarded because it is investment in the first place. Its market value moves more often compared to stocks, or real estate investments, which obviously gives more risk to an investor. Know also what are the things to mind. Many investors have gave up with the market volatility due to panic everytime the market prices are falling.

If you don’t know what to invest in why don’t you go for Bitcoin then? There have been a lot of predictions that Bitcoin will increase very soon due to the halving that’s coming and you shouldn’t miss out on it. If you don’t want to invest in Bitcoin because of the high price you can go for other top cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, XRP, LTC, ChainLink, and other coins that have been trending and also at the top position.

If you go for the new coins and smaller ones you might be making a mistake. Litecoin is cheap and it’s good, including Chainlink which is one of the investments I did as if recent.

We do not know your investment strategy to recommend certain currencies. Investment currencies are also influenced by the amounts you want to invest. In my opinion, large amounts should be invested selectively in the currencies of TOP 50 coinmarketcap. If you want to invest small amounts, but you have enough time to trade, I recommend short-term large currency fluctuations to make a significant profit. Good luck!

You should consider buying coins in each market. There may be several options for you to keep up with crypto if you are newbie. One example you can monitor coins that have a good reputation in each market by looking at the coinmarketcap. And the second one is trading on exchanges that have good trust such as binance and other top exchanges so that your assets are safe.

Put something to Bitcoin . If you're planning to divert your investment into parts, make Bitcoin the largest among all the other investment you will put your money at. I would advise you to invest in XMR and you could try also investing in DGB if that seems to work for you.
This isn't what you can call "good decision", because it pretty much ends up with your strategy whether it'd be day trading or long-term trading. Just stick to the obvious like buy at low and sell at high.

You need to have a clear investment strategy in this market, otherwise your assets will continually suffer losses. First, you must not invest in bullshit altcoins in this market, try to invest in altcoins in the top 50 coinmarketcap because they are the best and safest altcoins. Next you need to diversify your portfolio to avoid losing too much and possibly maximize your return on investment.

If you have a reserved approach and want to invest in low risk coins then only invest in btc and eth. For more dynamic investments you can invest in ada, icx, link, neo where risk is slightly more than the above category but the reward will also be more, lastly there is a high risk high reward category where you can pick npxs, snx, crpt, bat, power etc.

If you still hold your cash, then continue, probably you will have a better opportunity to invest. Markets are crashing, crude oil is a good example of an upcoming crysis. It crashed below the 0USD value! So you will get paid when you take from the oil company crude oil because they have also big holding costs. But we know that Bitcoin will not fall under 0USD because holding is free!  :D

First and foremost, you must understand that there are no guaranteed astronomical returns in investing to Bitcoin or any other altcoin. Everything are considered risky, but invest or trade at your due diligence.

There will be no good decisions here, because the market is so unpredictable these days. Like Ethereum for example, it now breached the $200 mark. We can say that Ethereum is one of the best investments today due to it's promising roadmap. However, there are some things that cannot be predicted which leads to a sudden nosedive. Like Bitcoin, Ethereum has high volatility as it is the second most popular cryptocurrency in the world.

I don't know what kind of good decision are you talking about. Either day trading or long term holding? If we are talking about long term holding, that might possibly be good given the fact that Bitcoin is entering the halving period soon. However, if you focus on day trading, it's kinda more risky in decision making.

Before you invest in some coins or tokens, just don't listen only to people who are thinking that it will pump the next day, week or so. Don't rely on what is trending, because it will not last long. Make sure you read the roadmap, whitepaper, etc., to know if it's great to invest in that certain coin or so.

Like me, I don't usually rely on investing within the top 20 coins in CoinMarketCap. There are other altcoins that have great project concepts and have promising long-term goals. NewsCrypto (NWC) is one of those altcoins that I'm bullish for long-term because of their impressive concept, roadmap, public reputation, team, partnerships, etc., aside from the top 20 or 100 in the market.

And the most important thing of all? Diversification. Don't just stick to one coin or token only. If you have enough funds that you can afford losing, put them on a few promising altcoins in the market. Remember, do your homework first before investing in a project. Just my two sats.

for now, I only choose investments that have a small risk. Well, I'm done looking for investments with great risks, because if you make the wrong decision, then the assets you have will be lost. for now, try to see things that have clear development. BTC, ETH, BNB, and others, is something that is certain. look for investments that have a small risk, and decide.

Agree, cryptocurrency especially altcoin is an investment with high risk speculation and I think with the number of coins and tokens in the market, we must be careful in choosing investments. Coins that have a market cap value of over $ 200 million in my opinion are good coins to be used as a short-term and long-term investment

You can take other people's advice but everything will depend on how well did you do your research and understand what coin will give you benefit in the long-run. I don't suggest that you follow other's advice because it is your money and you will be bearing the consequence or the outcome of your own investment not them.

The way to make a real good decision is always to read the market, this world is run by people who are doing the trading themselves and the price depends only on that, there is no revenue, there is no profits, there is no workers, there is no debt, this is basically just one  currency that gains or loses value depending on what the people think of it. That is why the best case is always to be putting a finger on the pulse of traders.

If you can go around on every single door you can and see what the bitcoin people think about bitcoin, you can predict the future of bitcoin, since you can't do it door to door the best other way is to read everything you can on forums and social media and youtube etc etc to see what the general public thinks about it.

now investing in bitcoin is a smart choice because bitcoin is the main coin of all existing cryptocurrency, from a 100% investment capital then I will share 70% for bitcoin and 30% for top altcoin which prices are still cheap, altcoin has a small scale because it has very high risk than bitcoin.

There is no one ideal way to choose the right coins for investment. Each investor has their own selection criteria. This knowledge comes with experience. Therefore, if you are not confident in your abilities, it is better to invest in well-known, fundamental coins. Of course, the earnings will not be big, but you will get experience.

If what you’re looking for is a means for quick profit, then I wouldn’t advise you to invest in cryptocurrency. The profit won’t come quickly, it takes time, unless you’re planning to be a day trader; even as a day trader you’re not even sure about making profit, because the market is volatile and can go to any direction at anytime.

So, if you’re going to be investing in any cryptocurrency you should make sure that you’re doing it for the long term and not just short term, you might as well get lucky and the bull run will kick in within a short time that you invested in the market. If you’re looking for good coins to invest your money in, then you can go with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, ChainLink, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.

however, before investing, gathering information is very important. it's the thing that determines whether you will invest the money you have in the right thing or not. with information, you can find out the clarity of the project. Well, the advice that I want to give right now is, never to look at a project from the bonus they give to investors.

Investing is not just about getting a profit, but you must consider the risk of loss that might occur. Before you invest, you should learn a good and right investment strategy, so you don't make mistakes when making decisions.
Picking the top 10 coins in CMC is a great solution, and a little safer. Never invest in new coins, because we never know how long that coin can survive in the market.

the best investment or option to generate real profits is bitcoin. besides that I don't think you need to worry about your funds in it because I believe bitcoin is very feasible and certainly profitable for future investments. on the other hand if you are interested in altcoin and are not at high risk then the choices are like ETH, EOS, BNB or those already listed in the top 10 in CMC. You can choose it yourself.

Make bitcoin your first choice if you have good capital got it's the most potent coin in the market that never fails to deliver when one least expect. Another is Stellar Lumen (XLM) and other good top ranking coins not coins that CEO begs investors to buy. Digibte is a sound coin I have been trading. Just ensure you don't buy new coins this may never end well.

I would advise projects from the top 10. If you are not sure what to invest, it is better not to take risks with unknown projects. And always do your own research, trust but verify.

To be sincere, since you don't know the type of coin to invest in, then I would suggest you start with top coins, depending on your funds, top 20 in coinmarketcap is a good way to start. Also, to be sincere once more, no matter the coins you later decided to invest in, let Bitcoin be in your portfolio, it is the best to hold or invest in all the time.
Lastly, one of the things to consider first before investing in any coin is the team and their level of commitment which reflects on the platform's growth.

Top 10 altcoins are not a bad choice to start with. If your capital is small, you should only focus on one altcoin. Follow and choose the right time to buy then wait for your profits.

Bitcoin is risky too, how you go down the list the risk is rising! You can never be sure did you made a good decision or not, only time can do that, what we can do is to do research, deep research, and it's how we minimize the risks, everything else is not in our reach. Risk is a normal thing, nobody should have fear from risking and possibly losing investment, it's how you learn and make the experience for yourself.

There are already many coins indeed, it often makes people confuse to decide what coin to buy.
But we should invest on coin that have project developments and the products used by their users.
Otherwise, the coin value won't be rising in the future and will become shit coin

for now, try to find tokens that feel you can make a fortune. however, each person has their own way of making decisions, from those who are very risky, to those who have no risk. for now, I can only suggest for you top crypto, such as bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, and coins that are in the row.
however, the coins I mentioned have a small risk compared to other coins. maybe you can choose a coin below that, but the risk you can face alone. try to make your own research.

You have to decide what level of investment you're going into, whether its a long term or short term investment then secondly You start by carrying out some sort of research on the projects you're willing to invest in. Look into the project roadmap, what have they achieved, what is the vibe in their community, are members happy and enthusiastic about the project?

To be sincere the best place to look for good coins to invest now is mostly in top 20 in coinmarketcap, the reason is, they are the coins that are already developed, have good team thus will give little or no stress and worry. However, to say a thing or two, the first thing to look at when investing is the team and their level of expertise so far and if their experience is reflecting on the project. That is, if there is no legit working products, don't bother with such project. Another is if their community members are fully supportive or not.

Well it's not always happen especially some known projects were not developing too much now or slow in their development though it is less risky to do. It is better to invest in Bitcoin still and trade it accordingly and invest some in real business that really suits your interest. Now we need a sure profit, with hardwork and perseverance we can study trading or having a quality business depending on your skills and understanding.

Again I would like to suggest you invest for some top traded like Dogecoin, IOTA etc and invest in the crypto which prices are below $0.01 Like CAPP, Datum, DBC etc. and the high trading volume crypto.

the most favorable condition in the long term right now in my opinion is a ripple. look at current prices, and the comparison is a few months ago. very far, and we can bet for this asset when improvements occur then it can give us a sizable profit.

The quickest and easiest way is just buy a trusted token fore-say BNB, ETH, XRP etc. this is some of the tokens that you can just buy and hold it and hope for the best. Yeah doesn't it seem risky? Just based on luck? Well, maybe both. But always remember the moment you take a step in cryptocurrency you have to always take risks no matter what you are doing, But be very cautious on investing your money. Do your research, ask a friend. Because there are more projects than you think are just scams or "Ponzi schemes" which can lure people especially when they tend to be a little greedy.

If someone wants to invest most of their money in crypto, then the thing they have to consider is risk. Crypto prices have never been stable and continue to fluctuate and potential investor should know about this. Also dont choose altcoin or investment asset randomly without doing a good analysis, because investing is only done with capital and expectation then I dont think its different from gambling.

If the purpose of an investment is to make a profit, then knowledge and analysis are things that investor must have. Always pay attention to the security of the wallet, the security of the exchange, and the security of your capital if you really want to become an investor.

of course it is risky, because we don't know in the future whether the project is still active or dead
Trading and invasion both are good and both are risky so if you want to invest jus chose the best one. Long term trading is good as now the days market is so unstable so we need to have more patience and wait for the right time not only to buy but to sell as well. Investing is also a good choice as the market is full of good coins like bitcoin and ETH if you feel comfortable with trading you can trade but both have an equal risk for newbies.

It's not wrong if you choose top coins such as BTC, ETH, BNB,.. to invest. The wrong thing is that you choose the wrong time to jump in to buy these coins. For newbies, if you're uncertain about your decision, don't be rush to invest yet! The very first thing you need to invest is your time! Invest your time to learn about the market, to do research, to read others' experiences,.. Until you have enough confidence about your knowledge, carefully choose a time when the price is low and invest, then sell it when it's high. It's just as simple as it! However, to be able to do it fluently with a low rate of risk, you'll need to practice a lot! Good luck!

Good point! In my opinion, I think a newbie should learn before trading. It's too risky to invest in something that we know nothing about! I've been in a time that I experienced failure and felt desperate. Then I realized the reason is that I didn't equip myself with proper knowledge and skills before trading. Having understanding about the market is quite critical!

To air my suggestions, buy into any of the top coins on coinmarketcap, they will save you a lot from uncertainties while keeping you on a good position to know more about other coins. Starting with Bitcoin, you wouldn't have to worry if you are going for long term, but if for short term wait to know the right time to buy, others are ETH and so on. My reason for not saying new altcoins is that, a good number of them can't be trusted and even if you want to, let it be for a very short time. In addition, some of the things to look at is, the team, the idea or use case, the working products, the community, the partners, their social media activeness and exchanges.

Top coins couldn't be profitable for the short term when already mentioned that for some funds to invest. Below 500 USD investment good for short term and new projects. We should always be careful with big investment, so the top coins are a proper decision. For some funds, the best option is for me a good new project. At first, choice some coin from CMC and then reseaech about it.What is the growth, what is going on this project and team is working or not??And is there any update about this project?

If you want my opinion then my favourite is Ethereum and Stellar and Algo coin.Because ethereum has the most potential to growth after bitcoin. And Algo coin has grown so much and Stellar is the perfect for long term investment.

But i think you shouldn’t completely follow our decision but you can give a emphasis on which coin we are suggesting then study about this project and invest in it.

There are so many coin out there, Please what do I look out for to make a good choice for investment into any of the coin.

Please be sincere.

Thanks
For long term investment better choose popular coins like Bitcoin, Neo, Ethereum and BNB, they will bring profits easily and also always take profits when these coins add value to price, if you are in for more risks then choose Tezos, Cosmos, Chainlink, Tron, etc

Top alts together with bitcoin are really good for long term holdings, if you are looking for much higher rewards and you wanted to maximized your gains
investing with top 10 alts lessen your time from keep monitoring your assets.

Buy while the price are cheap then keep it while waiting for your target price before selling your assets. Keep in mind that bitcoin will pumped first then it will be followed by known alts with good numbers of supporters.

they are Probably good long term investments and do require less time to check them if they're "alive" (as if it was with most non-top alts)
the biggest advice for a newbie - do as much research, make your own decisions, stick to them to get your lesson

It's up to yourself not anyone, be ready to learn more about what makes a project better than others, YouTube can help you on this, also be ready to always take profits, you don't have to make biggest ROI from a single altcoin, if you don't want to take huge risks choose top 5 coins

There are many options for your investment. But remember when investing makes the determination to use money to make a lot of money. So choose which currency can bring you the most profit to invest. Maybe you choose bitcoin or ethereum or any other currency. But you must have a good understanding of the currency you will choose.

Whatever path you are going to choose always make sure you only invest what you can afford to lose, do deep research if you plan to go for altcoins, make sure their use case are good and don't put all your eggs in one basket

Initially when someone want to invest and is new then better to stay with the top altcoins only. Once people do make some money and profits form that investment then they can start exploring some other altcoins based on the needs and the risk appetite. Also one should have time horizon and accordingly should invest as its highly volatile market.
determining the plan for investment in the crypto market has considerable complexity. In addition to the analysis of the project, we must also determine the market analysis to determine the time and also the price. This is very difficult, but as a beginner, as you say. choosing a top market asset is the best choice with a risk that I think is quite small. at least they won't become 0. and we can learn how the crypto market moves to make a profit.

First, you have to accept that no matter what will happen don't lose hope because once you invest the risk is there. Crypto price is volatile we cannot say when it will go up and when it will go down. Second, research more about the coins that you are interested in, I will suggest investing in those coins that are in the top 20,50 and 100.. And also follow their social media accounts for the update regarding what is happening.

It depends on your past knowledge you have about crypto, if you have non I suggest you start learning and put your money aside, it can take you months to learn depending on how good you are and if you can't wait that much Bitcoin is the best option for you , altcoins are more profitable but more risky

This is useful guys! Importantly, besides having fun, you should learn the knowledge, master skills, and gain an understanding of the market. Do not invest in the market until you believe you have enough understanding of it. If you invest when you're still unsure, it's more likely for you to lose your capital! Be wise and careful!

Research, deep research is all you need, find reasons why a coin failed and why coins ranked up to top levels, for me its all about the coin use case, if good enough many investors will have interest and the more there is demand the money the price will grow in time

Active development, high social media activity and a strong use case is all that needs to be investigated.

It's lot safer to pick from top 10 ranked coins like Bitcoin, ethereum,Monero and others, if you want to mix few new coins it's good too just make sure they are very popular and have good use case, do research on Tezos and cosmos or Seele

if you have some money I only recommend you to invest in the top 50 coin marketcap with prices that are still under $ 0.1. You can also invest in the top 10 altcoins but that requires more money

for simple investment put it on bitcoin , ethereum or maybe top 10 coinmarketcap. invest on coins that have price below $0,1 actually have same potency to coins above $1 . we look at how much percentages when its price growth. as beginner investors this is most suitable portofolio , we must take lowest risk for first investment.

Choose between old projects and new projects, know that old projects are less risky because they've show what they are capable of than new projects that might be spreading only hype, also not all new projects are bad, use cases are what makes coins better than the rest, do some diggings on your own

Coming from many people that I have talked with in the past and based on their preferences, I would the safest bet is the best bet. The top 20 cryptocurrencies out there should still be in my opinion the best cryptocurrencies that you need to invest in. Many people want to say they have their favorites and I do to and that's those with active development and very active communities. But if you want the buy low sell high thing and want to earn more, then try day trading, though don't take my word easily since I am not a financial expert. Learn and read and investigate and research, research, and research more. Then you try.

I have been involved with crypto for over 5 years and I am still having trouble with making a decision, I can't say that years make it easier, well it does make it a bit easier but the thing that gets easier is to find bad ones. Today I am much better at finding bad coins and staying away from the bad ideas, however that doesn't mean the higher ends are easier.

What happens is, with time if there are 100 coins to pick from with 80 of them being bad and 20 of them being good, you look at all of them, when you are experienced like me you eliminate 50 of them quickly and look at 30 bad and 20 good ones and try to understand which one is which. All I can say is read, read as much as you can about as many things as you can so that you could get better at picking good coins.

in my opinion at the beginning it is better to focus on bitcoin and ethereum and on the stable coins to be staked on the various defi sites then slowly as soon as you become familiar with the crypto you can also think of the other altcoins...

With the many altcoins in existence now even with those coming up everyday, making research on the right coins to invest in, most times seems like a herculean task because some project team can go a long way just to achieve their aim which atimes is satisfying themselves. Irrespective of that, the prominent things to look out for is the idea the team is selling, that is, if the idea is workable or is a Solution to issues whether in the crypto space or in the outside world. Also, an idea can't be workable if the team do not have sufficient experience, thereby knowing about the team is another thing to look into. Other things which contributes in one way or the other is, the community and social media presence.
