I have noticed many of the alts but ETH is truly a strong competitor in crypto market, over the past few days ETH is showing some great signs which means the price is pumping.

The price have also break new yearly high, eth is absolute gem for Investment. I am sure it is all set to break $300k barrier some interesting story is about to come in this crypto market, let's wait and watch...

ETH is one of the most sought after altcoin and the second after Bitcoin. It has been pumping for the last 48 hours and if I am correct it has pumped by more than $30. It is expected to pump more so if you are HODLing then keep on doing that.

If they can hold the deadline of the 4th of August to deply ETH2.0 testnet it´s gonna be interesting. It´s like a make it or break it situatiun. ETH could be come the industry standad, even more than it already is, but first 2.0 must be proven to run smoothly, reliable and secure. If they manage to do that, the price will adust, maybe to new ATH later that year

$300 is about to be there but I'm waiting for a higher price than it can. The Ethereum 2.0 can do so much more once it's activated. People want to have that passive income and stack up yourselves for your own benefit even if you won't reach the said minimum of 32 ETH to be qualified for staking.

182M worth of ETH were sent by whales to exchanges. all to pump altcoins. exciting days for altcoin lovers. pumping ETH will also make altcoins rise up, its going to be a huge altcoin bullrun in the process. this defi had really given altcoins the kickstart.

With this current  spike in ethereum price, we're going to see something good which mean price beyond the $300. This year is for mostly ethereum and partly for bitcoin, this latest spike will definitely shoot the price of Bitcoin and ethereum higher than expected. The change in the way prices moves is actually shows that the crypto market is maturing. Investors now just don't jump in but analyze every coin they intend to invest in. ETH is my greatest long term investment of all time. Been extremely happy lately with the attention ETH is getting, partly due to ETH 2.0 which is around the corner and many DEFI projects on Ethereum blockchain. I laughed hard when someone said ETH price will crash massively over time when the era of ICO passed, that the major reason why ETH hasn't dumped badly is because it was the major means to participate in ICOs then. I don't see anything surprising, this was to be expected. Ethereum remains in the top three most popular cryptocurrencies. It's actively used and in demand by many projects.

The increase in Ethereum is very important but we know that this increase is derived from Bitcoin and when there is a change Ethereum ends up undergoing adjustments due to the fluctuation of Bitcoin. On the other hand, if Ethereum is able to become independent, it can be a great factor and sign of a great appreciation in its price and product. However we already know that logical part and unfortunately I'm not entirely happy with the appreciation of any altcoin.

That is a good sign because it means that the platform is gaining more popularity and we know that there are many Alternate Cryptocurrencies that not just depends on Bitcoin because some rely on the value of Ethereum. when do folks think ETH staking will be available in production?  I have heard wildly different date estimates, but with recent announcement that Ethereum 2.0 final Testnet is set to Launch on August 4, I am hoping sooner than later.

Even though we're not going back to the top like $1,500, the market will be fine with the current price, which we have sort out for so long. The current bullish thread from cryptocurrencies and especially from Ethereum is a good show of what is ahead of us. The ethereum upgrade 2.0 is on it way coming and this bullish will continue till 2021, I presume.

I agree with you. Defi projects are bringing ETH value back and this will definitely be a very promising investment for everyone. I am also investing in this coin and I am very happy to have doubled profits from ETH after only a few months of waiting. According to my prediction, ETH price will soon reach $500 and will slowly return to the old ATH if the Defi projects are more interested by investors.

We are now having a green market and some altcoins just showing some love to its holders especially Ethereum is really doing good this week. It did hit $300 dollars today together with bitcoin is pumping up also. It's a good sign we may having a little bull run this week and hoping it will last long enough for holders that wanted to take profit and if in case want to bags again when it hit downwards.

if ETH released their upgrade more earlier and not delaying we might have had a more massive bullish than it currently is but I guess there's so many problems need to be sorted out on their side and thus the delay. Even at the current levels, Ethereum is almost 80% below the ATH which was reached in 2017-18. And more worryingly, the current spike is not supported by any development or adoption milestone. It seems to result from pure speculation. Now I am not saying that ETH is over-priced and it doesn't deserve the spike. But if you want to invest at this point, then you need to be extra-cautious.

The recent Defi projects are causing the coin to rise very high and certainly ETH will be a very good choice that investors need to hold during this time. My prediction is that the price of ETH could reach $700 in the next few months if demand for investment in Defi projects increases. You're right! ETH is a very strong altcoin and is showing good dynamics right now. All this boils down to the fact that we are on the verge of a new flight to the moon, but first we need to reach the past maximum marks. Personally, I believe that now the top altcoins and BTC will be pumped up in turn. By the end of the year, we need to raise prices to the previous heights, and next year there is every chance to see a flight to the moon. To get success, we need to be as patient as possible and then everything will work out for us.

Indeed there are several factors that have increased pumping to ETH with PoS and 2.0 which are highly awaited but it has not been released in the near future but the development of ETH in current prices is quite good but this is indeed a bull run so that this increase is quite high.

It is not just ETH rallying there are other coins joining the rally which includes BTCitcoin, Cardano and XRP. I am not expecting a separate rally just for ETH but there are other coins as well with much lesser valuation that can rally when the entire market moves up.

Even though the whole Crypto market is going higher, if we compare it to ethereum it has gained more percentage than any other major Cryptocurrency. The increasing fees does pose a concern but what we can do about it, before the DeFi bubble the average transaction fees used to be below $1 but now the average transaction fees is above $5 which has made transactions on ethereum network more costly than bitcoins network, in the past it used to be reverse relation. I guess once this DeFi frenzy is over the transaction fees will come back to normal, just like the spam attack that used to happen on the bitcoin network a few years back.

Since, 2018 after the super bull run of the crypto market the ETH price has touched $300 a minimum of 3 times yearly but never sustain above this level. So, now also you no need to be happy enough till the price never break the $400 in a medium term. If the price be stable for the longer period in around of $300 then it is most possible that the price must decline to $150 or less again.

To be sincere ETH is an exceptional coin and no matter what people always say about it, they will always come to the understanding of trusting and using it. Eth is the second most popular coin next to bitcoin. I really want to hold eth because aside from lower price it has very high potential coin. A lot of alts have grown in price while price of bitcoin is steady in lower price, if this price of bitcoin will increase alts price will go down dipper. This is what I have observe. I like ETH, but I wish it had more of a hard cap like bitcoin.  With 111.9M ETH currently liquid and in circulation (according to Coinbase) and more being issued with no hard cap isn't there a significant risk that the supply will exceed demand driving the price down?

Back then, some users thought that ETH will dump more and waited for their desired price zone, as a result, missed the chance to buy eth at low price. So, never wait for more dump or pump and always try to buy parts by parts according to own resarch of support/resistence of a crypto-currency.

One advantage with Ethereum is that it's more technologically advanced competitors are not doing that well, due to issues in development. Even with Ethereum, the development is going at snail's pace but the situation seems to be much better when compared to other chains such as Omni or Stellar. But despite all that, I don't expect ETH to reach a new ATH anytime soon.

Yub! The only reason that can trigger ETH price goes up is the rumor that has been around the market. People are talking to each other with a lot of faith in ETH. Therefore, more and more people are buying ETH that makes its price going up! I second your opinion, IMHO US stocks have rebounded much more than they should considering the financial state of the economy so I almost expect another crash regardless, but a second wave appears likely (that is if you even believe we are finished the first wave in the US  :().  When the cryptocurrency market reacts negatively again I will take advantage of the buying opportunity like I did in the spring.

As of today, the price has been increasing since a few days ago. On a positive note, the vaccine will come out before the end of the year so even if we have all of these bad news I believe the market will remain bullish, it has proven itself that it can stand even the pandemic and it recovered fast after the big crash when the news of the pandemic comes out, everything is positive now in the market.

That is really so amazing news for ETH holders, that is why ETH keeps increasing. As you above said if ETH keeps increasing till 350$, 450$ will be easy for ETH to reach. l think ETH will reach this number in the near future. Look at the current chart of the ETH, you can see that there is 6 straight green candles that indicates there is a strong momentum in the price of the ETH. I'm actually looking forward on this one. I switched to eth from bitcoin since i wont be able to feel the rising of the bitcoin due to the lack of invested funds. It just feels great that what little money invested feels like its growing since eth is cheaper than the bitcoin.

While there are still no announcements of new projects using ethereum platform or development of Ethereum 2.0, its unlikely to rise to that point of without no other news. These days increase of ETH might be only reason of rise of BTC price since BTC is planning to legalised in some country, the increase from BTC can affect some top alt for increase and might lower others.

I have always believed that Ether is one of those overhyped cryptocurrencies. Back in 2017, the Ether prices went up by more than 100x, as a result of the ICO craze. But as soon as the ICO bubble deflated, it came down crashing. Now it is once again going up, as a result of the overhyped Ethereum 2.0. Once some bug or security issue is found, it will once again crash.

Even if it's true, is it a good chance for traders to earn profit out of the differences? We don't need to expect ETH to keep its value as high as possible, traders are looking for the pump of ETH to buy when it's low and sell when it's high. Isn't it the way we earn profit? I think you're right. Many investors and traders also think like you and me right now. I see ethereum prices have started to fall again when there was a big dump in bitcoin yesterday that the price collapsed instantly and made a lot of people depressed, so maybe ethereum is now starting to fall again, and will rise again when ethereum launches its project which might happen at the end of the year this, hopefully that prediction can really happen.

It is true that Bitcoin has effect on almost all the altcoins in the market. Somehow the who market is linked to Bitcoin. If bitcoin falls, all other altcoins bleed as well. But in some of the past events, it has been observed that Ethereum has defied that theory and has shown growth even when the market cap was gradually decreasing. If bitcoin is stable or shows steady and consistent changes be it positive or negative, the altcoin market will continue to gain momentum irrespective of how bitcoin is reacting to the market.
