I have recently got a connect on GoPros and I was looking to see if I could sell a couple for bitcoins.

We are selling HERO3+ GoPros Black Edition, Surf edition and even the music edition.
If you would buy them at a store or online they are $400, but by buying from us they are only $200.
We have a special connect on these. They will be brand new straight out of the box.

$200 via bitcoins ONLY. We accept escrow or if you're very trusted we will go first. Or you can send half payment, I ship ASAP and you receive tracking. Then you pay rest or wait until it comes in the mail to send rest. Or if you want you can go first, any way is fine with me. But if you decide to use escrow, you must pay fees.

These are cheap, so you could buy just one for $200 and sell it on eBay or other sites for $300 and make $100 profit easy. If you wanna become a reseller for GoPros this is one of the easiest ways and best ways to make good profit. You won't regret it.

Yes I have a connect, pretty much me and my workers have got a way to get these GoPros fairly cheap. They will be brand new out of the box, real and everything. These are legitimately obtained so no need to worry. I will have proof by giving you tracking number once shipped.

I can back him up on the $200 dollar price, I have been to a few industry events that Go Pro/Retailers were at and $200 was what they were going for. I bought my hero 2 at one and I may snag one of these hero 3 if I can get the funds together.

We got them from a event and a retailer was selling them fairly cheap to us, so we grabbed as many as we could. We only have 50 right now but hopefully we can restock if people buy them!

A private event, private retailer, I can't really be exact on the retailer because we don't know much information about them. We were at the private event and we found these. We then asked how much they were and they were giving such a good price we couldn't turn it down. We are working with the private retailer and hopefully we can sell some of these. Can you take a picture of the pile, with your forum name and today's date? I'm genuinely interested in at least 1, but skeptical about the price. When you sell for half off of retail price, you want to move them quickly.

I would love to take a picture of the pile but I don't have them with me. The private retailer I bought from has them, he ships them out for me. As I already paid for the GoPros, I just needed someone to ship them for me since I do not have the time to go to USPS or UPS daily. So he's shipping them for me and I'm giving him a small fee to do that for me. I'm only selling them as cheap because I want to make my money back, I paid less then $200 but I want to make a little profit. If you're wondering how I got them so cheap it's because I bought them in bulk and some other reasons. If you're interested in just buying one so I can prove I'm legit, no problem contact me. This is contradictory. You grabbed them from a retailer, meaning you should have them on hand. If I'm going to buy at least one, then I'd like to know which company is shipping them to me beforehand. If you don't want to disclose this publicly, then please PM it to me. I wouldn't ask all this if I wasn't truly interested in it.

It's because international shipping from the US is rather expensive. USPS had a pretty large price increase, and UPS and fedex costs even more. On top of that, you have to fill out customs declaration forms for every package. Lastly, there is higher risk something would happen to the package, as it will be going through more hands.

I know because I've done mass international shipping before. It really is a pain the ass.

Smells fishy? I'm not the drop shipper actually, he is shipping them for me as I stated before. I don't have the proper time to go and ship them myself. So he is doing it for me, yes I did buy 50 at the event. There's nothing fishy about this, it's not my fault my private retailer decided to just ship to USA now. And read page 2 the last reply he explained why pretty good. And yes you can use escrow, you really think I mind? Nope not at all so if this is so "fishy" don't buy.

yeah. that's why smells fishy. u own the goods but dropshipper tells u what is what. u paid aparently for 50 units but u have no control at all. i bought few items  from USA and there where never s problem just recently silver bullion and no issue.

Its very common not to want to deal with customs.

for me a bit smells, read above.  once he sends item he is free and have nothing to do with customs.  everything is in my hands. A bit of good will and everything can be done.

I have a brother who Lives in America , I'm sure for a small fee he will gladly send things out from America to other countries (as he does with his business).

There is choice of 3 different ones. so it seems he didn't bought any of it. plus the fact there is no control over this gear make me think it's just not true. Like I said before I can vouch for the $200 price. Me and my friend were sponsored riders and we would go to expo's and show our companies new gear off, Gopro was allways there selling brand new in the box GoPros for $200. GoPro would bring everything giant lcds showing videos, race cars, raffles for full Gopro kits, they would even show up in a Sprinter with the whole back top to bottom full of gopros. I imagine they are even cheaper if you are a  retailer, it kinda seemed like they funded thier expos with $200 dollar GoPros.

No, I wholesale large planting containers varying in size from 1gl - 800gl and I dont have a single picture. If he is completing sales and is accepting escrow I dont see a problem.

One last favor: do you have a scale? If so, can you please weigh how much the total package weights, including the shipping box? It helps me estimate shipping to other countries  ;)

I discarded the box at my mail receiver (Mailbox in WA state, I am in Canada). It was approximately 2 pounds. Box was about 14 long by 6 inches by 6 inches.

See above. Gopro clearly states they don't want resellers selling on forums, and they only allow you to sell for their approved minimum price. I don't think this is legit considering he said they're "perfect for eBay" yet he's willing to take a lesser profit and sell then here instead of eBay himself.

I would advise you leave the feedback that reflects your experience whenever you make a trade here. Good or bad it helps everyone make informed decisions. You should leave feedback for your escrow and the seller in this case. Just my opinion for what its worth.

^ Confirmed scammer. There are no instances where he'll send first, contrary to what he says in the OP (He only sends first to trusted members, but if it's a trusted member, then he wouldn't get scammed). Escrow ensures that no one gets scammed, so if he denies using escrow, then that just confirms it.

He was also definitely violating the GoPro reseller policy by selling through a forum.

I think its a good rule of thumb that whenever someone on this forum has a "connection" and can get stuff for prices no one else on planet earth can seem to, chances are, they are scamming.

It has been almost 3 weeks since the transaction agreement, still no shipping so I just requested my btc back from escrow (escrow.ms). This was an attempted scam all along, too many inconsistencies in this thread. For those that have not been following or just joined in, here is a recap of the thread. DO NOT ORDER.


- claims to have 200 GoPro's, never specified how many of each model
- when asked for pics as proof of possession, all of a sudden a "private retailer" is holding them for him, so he can't take pics.
- offered free shipping to anywhere, then he can't ship international when someone outside US orders.
- GoPro corporation has strict authorized resellers and controls what price they're sold at, yet somehow he has hundreds to sell, and half the price for that matter.
- shipping was delayed because he had family problems.
- shipping was then delayed because his "private retailer" had personal problems.
- the ONLY one that received was a newb with a few post, who couldn't properly post the Tx ID for the payment. Most likely shill account.
- He's still not shipping them out after several weeks, but yet taking new orders in by PM.
- at the end, does not accept escrow anymore.


Come to your own conclusions.

Damn I wanted one of these two. My guess is he's been arrested for receiving stolen goods and/or for trying to sell goods he stole.

Not a chance in hell. There's maybe a 1 in 10,000 chance this guy was arrested for trying to sell stolen goods.

However, there's a 99.99% chance that he was trying to scam people by getting them to pay without escrow. He accepts your escrows in order to still appear legitimate while trying to find buyers who will pay without escrow.

It's all just BS. Did you read some of his responses? He can't take pictures because they're being sent from "his supplier." That directly contradicts previous statements about buying them in bulk at an event. That was like 5 pages ago and I'm really surprised that this thread is still going...like people couldn't tell this was a scam 3 weeks ago?

I am not a shill. I DID get a legitimate ONE GoPro that I ordered. He asked for half up front and half upon receipt. I got the order. Stupid me trusted him in another transaction, to buy 5 more. Half up front, half upon receipt. He took me for a ride and he is a SCAMMER. Although this won't be the last of me with him. I happen to have some law enforcement contacts that are already working on his "in" at GoPro.

And why did you send over $200 for the first half? If he was selling them at $200, then you sent him more than he asked for in the first half alone!
Those transactions don't seem to back what you're saying.

Regardless if you're a shill or not, it's a perfect set up. Ship out one, have the guy post about it, everyone else pays and he walks with the money. It's the same thing gonefishing tried to pull. He sent me 10 half coins I paid upon receipt, left good feedback, then he tried getting me to pay for half of a much larger order next time because he should have "earned some trust". He pulled the same thing on a couple others, opened a dummy account used that account to boost his credibility and two people got scammed out of like 20+ B.

His first TX was not over $200.

TX1: BTC0.1611 went to the OP and BTC0.238 went back to him as "change"
TX2: BTC0.1709 went to the OP and BTC0.276 was "change"

Op was probably trying to get a vouch and then never reply again once orders came in. Sad thing is that he is still active on the forum trying to scam other people.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that this guy leaves negative feedback to a person who "asked a bunch of questions then didn't buy" his reason for leaving negative feedback was "wasted my time". Wow really? So that guy is untrustworthy because he asked questions didn't like what he heard and then didn't want to buy it? Some people. 

No doubt he is a scammer. His tail is between his legs. I am contacting GoPro to get them started on who his "mole" was inside, and they can start with the mole and do an internal investigation and then contact the police. These guys think they can run and hide.......

He never had anything to do with GoPro. Don't waste your time and contribute to negative opinions about Bitcoin.

I think that what his 'technique'. Gaining trust by doing smaller transactions, going back to the same people he dealt with earlier and scamming them  (because they trust him). I'm happy for you that the deal didn't happen.

Oh and by the way, I have another reason why you shouldn't do that: You likely received a GoPro (assuming you are not a shill) that was obtained through carding or warranty fraud. In other words, you are now in possession of stolen goods. So, the options are more like:

1. Talk to the police, lose the GoPro, and risk getting convicted of a crime even though you are a do-gooder.

vs.

2. Shut up and hope it wasn't stolen.

He also left us negative feedback: 'Deal with caution'.

edit: He left multiple people negative feedback. I've left positive feedback for these people, explain that his negative feedback is unfounded.

I usually go to Surf Expo every year in Orlando with a friend. My friend I know for sure got dropped by his team last year so he isn't going but I am sure I can snag a badge. Go Pro sells Hero 3's there and I am pretty sure it is in September and January this year, if I end up going I will snag a few and sell them on here.

I didn't even leave this guy any bad rep but he just left me negative feedback warning others about any possible other accounts...
