This looks very interesting and promising. Will follow the development as I'm looking into getting a more advanced trading bot, mainly for margin trading on Poloniex.

You can run from your local computer, but its best if you use a VPS. It's very cheap around 10 USD per month you can use a contabo VPS.

I was in the telegram and I guess...
Dev was busy updating the new version and answering the new setting for those paid buyers, so no time to update on time.
For me the profit results here was not fully meaningful, because Dev already said it was just a testing results.
if I am you, I really read THE PROFIT RESULTS & FEEDBACK FROM THE BUYERS but not the seller ONLY,
so, go thru all the msgs in their official telegram that will be much more reality!
profit or not is really depending on how deep you understand the bots and
what strategies you are using for the current market situation, if you have been using bots before,
you should know picking the right setting and reduce as much as BAGS you have then you will have much greater chance to win!
Do your homework, really the post in telegram and make $$ together bro!  ;)

be careful with these bots because one wrong setting and you could be out of a lot of assets. just from experience, i haven't personally seen any bots that actually consistently make profits. i have only tested a few.

Hi, didn't lose anything. The bot was on sell mode only due the coming BTC Fork, i will update spreadsheet in a few hours with the last 4 days.
I resumed the buying again today on the 24th.

Every bot needs attention, its not just something you turn it on and starts printing money.
However ProxyBot has been pretty stable, easy to use and with important features such as DCA to manage possible bags, but still needs attention and tweaks as market has it ups and downs constantly. Just like the last few days when all alts went down because of the BTC fork, if you have the proper settings the bot will go into sell mode only, like mine did and wait for the right time to come back.

I guess it is not only bots, any humanity mistake make you lose $$, especially in decentralized crypto world, if you are a trader and tried some smart contract exchanges like etherdelta, you always see humanity mistake like 10000eth each altcoin, and people lost many eth for buy 1 altcoin by his typing mistake.

any I am quite sure you are talking two different things, you said wrong setting made loss, but you said you did not see any bots consistently make profits, they are irrelevent, and only way you can make profit is to learn from mistake, even I have 20 year security trading exp, sometime I lose $$ in crypto market, there are too many factors make you rich or poor, wrong setting or wrong bot is only a small part of it, most part of it is the market itself, if they market is going down, everyone dumping their coins, I don't think any bots can help you.

Hi

I want a bot to execute my sell orders when certain conditions are met. Basically stop-loss and price target at the same time.
Since it's impossible currently at Bittrex to place 2 orders at the same time. (one order reserves entire balance so you can never place 2 orders at the same time), i'm losing a lot of potential profits when price starts to move when i'm away from the computer.

Can ProfitTrailer keep an eye on price for me and automatically place the right order which is closest to either one of these levels ? (stoploss when losing / price target when the price is rising)

I see that you are just looking to execute sell orders, so i will answer on that.

Yes, the bot can be configured to sell at X % gain and also you can set Stop Loss.
So let say you purchase NEO manually and want ProfitTrailer to sell, you can set for example your sell order at minimum 3% gain and use our trailing profit (will try to maxime your profit above the 3% gain).

You may also set your stop loss at let say -5%, if the price drops below -5% it will execute the sell.

And of course you may use the full features of ProfitTrailer and let it buy and sell for you as well.

Hey, I am Vik and I wanted to share my experience on profittrailer.

Long story short. I used Gunbot in the past, not a successfull story, but i had small gains here and there. Old versions worked fine, new ones full of bugs.
Anyways, I decided to look around for a new bot, i looked into haasbot, but way to expensive for what you get in my opinion.

Then I joined the Telegram group of Profittrailer just to feel out the vibe of the community, I have to say I have been quite burned in the past with "other" bots Telegram groups.

I can buy every market then sell on 3% earnings, and half of the deals will go -3%, but the bot doesn't account for that, it'll tell you only the deals made, so 50%*3% = 1.5% total, but with the DCA you might have lost money! Thinking that DCA's will come back to normal and even make profit when they are currently -30% is wishful thinking."

What i can say is no money is lost until you manually sell it at a loss, the bot does NOT sell anything at a loss, unless you tell it to do.
Therefore, if you have an open trade that is -20% you haven't lost anything until you decide to sell it at a loss, or have patience and wait for the pair to rise back up

You can turn dca on and off for any coins, the bot is a tool for you to make trades, so you can setup your own configuration.

I noticed that in the trial run you posted around 2.5% gains per day. Is that with the default config or another config?

Are there any plans for a backtesting feature? If so, how high up on the priority list is it?

I know that the testing feature exists, but if I'm not mistaken, that just runs your config on a current market without doing real trades, meaning it would take a long time to properly test a config, whereas backtesting you could run the config over a long time period in the past in just a few min.

You need to adjust settings as market conditions are always changing.
At the moment this is not available.

Is there a place where people can share their conf and there stats to help us each others to be better (I find telegram a total mess for this) ?
Example : I didn't customize anything yet and have & 1%-3% profit per day. That's already very good ! But if I want to try to have rather 5% or more per day (taking risks off course it's my choice) what should I do ? Your tool is perfect but it's really hard to find a knowledge base with users examples (other than on telegram).
Maybe an idea for the future ?

Another question : Is it possible to totally exclude pairs from "Pairs log". I have some alts on Bittrex and want to keep them and not doing trade with it. So i put BTC-XXX_trading_enabled = false in my config. That's ok, I see them as "WATCHMODE" in the "Pairs log" window.
But it's a little bit anoying to always see them here and they "distored" my trading balance on the dashboard. I would like to see only the trading balance with which the bot will trade and not my total balance on Bittrex.

Hi at the moment you are doing the correct way, there is no way to completely "remove" from pairs, it will display in watchmode if you set trading_enable = false.

I've been using your bot for a day now, with cryptognome's moderate binance settings... It seems like I go into DCA very often. Is this normal?

and only having .05 BTC with anderson strat, I'm stuck in DCA pretty often lol...

Also, can you explain what the dust-log does? and I never see anything in pending log? I can't find anything for them in the wiki explaining what they are.

I just added bittrex as well with about .055 BTC... I'm going to try the stock settings this time with bittrex... is 10 pairs too much for this much BTC? I lowered it to 5 for now. I'm worried they all go into DCA and I got no funds left. This one uses lowbb vs the cryptognone's anderson so

It depends on your initial by strategy, moderate can do into dca.

You need to you limit your pairs to maximum 5 and do 0.0013 per trade to start


Dust log will show any coins that are below the minimum required by poloniex or bittrex to trade

I am using bittrex now but I may move to poloneix. I just signed up there so I haven't made up my mind yet. I signed up at binance too because of the December offer at PT site but I've never traded there. I guess I've been signed up at a lot of exchanges over the years, most of them long gone. Is the Profit Trailer license transferable? If any of the exchanges shut down (or gets shut down) for any reason is my profit trailer software also "shut down"?
I've been through the demos and youtube channels. From what I've seen this is brilliant programming and an excellent trading tool so I am very likely to purchase. I'm just watching the price because I have to purchase btc on my CC and I'd rather spend less than more. Thanks.

Hello,  I purchased 2 license one for bittrex and one for binance about a day ago.  I got my binance bot going, but in the process I released the bot sold all my long term holds.  Not really that big of an issue.  But I use my bittrex account as my primary trading account and don't want this to happen.  I was wondering if it would be possible to trade the bittrex license for a poloniex license, since I don't use poloniex.  I haven't activated the bot on Bittrex, would it be possible?

In regards to selling your long term holds, you can avoid that by turning off trading on that pair.
For example on Bittrex you would do BTC-ETH_trading_enabled = false
With that, the bot will NOT buy/sell ETH.
Bittrex is much better to trade BTC pairs than poloniex, it's not allowed to change between exchanges, but you can try talking to the dev on telegram @elroy

I hope you can help me with some questions.

I have 0.24 BTC to trade with. Is it wiser to put it all on 1 exchange, or spread it out between the 3 exchanges.
I mean, the rewards will be the same right? 1-4 % on 0.08BTC x 3 = the same as 1-4 % on 0.24BTC.

You wrote that Bittrex was a much better choice than Poloniex to trade BTC pairs. Why is that?
I was hoping you can tell me some key differences on the 3 exchanges you sell licences for.

You can just use one exchage.
Bittrex is better for BTC market because it has more pairs than poloniex.
But you can make money on either exchange, this is just my personal preference.

I only use bittrex and poloniex to trade, and I think Bittrex is better for BTC market because it has more pairs than poloniex. do you think should i try binance too?

I also prefer Bittrex for BTC pairs, i use there myself.
However binance is also bringing good profits on BTC market as well.
You should def try it out.

We officially don`t, but some resellers provide at additonal cost.
But its very easy to setup, there are a ton of videos and the community is also very helpful.

Yea, 0.09 BTC right now is over $1,300. That's over 2 straight months of BTC mining profits out the window (assuming you're using an S9). Seems a bit much, but what do I know? :)

This bot is actually cheap for the amount of money you can make with it. Usually most people pay it off in less than a week.

I just purchased the software for binance on a macbook pro. In my terminal its stating: Consecutive trigger is not supported for Binance exchange

any idea what is happening and how to fix. The profit trader monitor site does pop up on my browser and i can see what i have but...there is no config tab?

also do i have to go to terminal and do the entire install process just to log on? because everything i restart i have to do the entore process again. any help here is much appreciated.

The consecutive trigger is not yet available on binance, so you can just ingore that message.
To be able to see the config tab you first need to setup your password on the application.properties file
server.password = put your password
after that you also need to add the following line below also on the application.properties file
server.enableConfig = true

Restart the bot and you will be able to see the config tab on your monitoring page.

This seems very interesting... I'm currently using other trading bot, but not going so well, basically I am making like less than 1% a day with constant need to monitor, calculate and change values/configs. So I'm quite desperate and trying to find a working one. I have little to none trading knowledge, however trying to learn new strategies everyday.

Not really. only consecutive trigger is not available on binance, there rest is pretty much the same for all exchanges.

The software it works fine for bittrex, not so well at all on binance. Whether or not its profitable is upto you & your settings within it.

I was going through wiki and checking all strategies and there're some strategies I don't know so I wouldn't know how to set them.
Also, I imagine that some strategies would work better with some pairs but not with others, but it would be hard for me to spot that, so please bare with me and clarify this point.

VPS have a good selection of coins that may used in exchange. Other than that bittrex, poloniex and binance have good rates and list of coins. It depends to you if what exchange you been choose, because those sites may give to you high amount of income depends on how you used it. Moreover it depends to the coins you been choose to invest because not all coins are available in one exchange.

It works fine in all 3 exchanges, i personally run PT on all 3 exchanges myself.

Hi, as far as strategy, is something that you will need to tweak along the way.
You can start with the default settings and change as you learn more about the bot.
There also a ton of videos on youtube that explains about different strategies.

I personally use Contabo.
But Vultr is good too.

Turn on sell only mode if we got x consecutive buys and no sells in between (market is going down). Useful to protect against large market swings if something changes the market dynamics.
You will receive a telegram message to inform you of this.

This feature is not yet available on binance, however you can use btc drop/rise trigger which will also protect against market swings.

Just bought a license for Poloniex! Currently running on my own Raspberry Pi at home... I have some question about the monitoring panel..

1. Is it possible to make it accessible from outside?
2. Is there a "Connectivity Status" indicator, so I can see if Pi is up or down? Currently, if the Pi is offline, the top right will show sort of like spinning icon (which is kind of hard to see from a distance), and occasionally shows flashing red message, but will disappear in a sec. I prefer like a red/green light indicator, so you can see right way (something similar to Stop ProfitTrailer button).

3. From time to time there will be a power outage in my area. So, I test if the Pi will be able to boot up automatically again, however when the Pi boot up, it said that the file ProfitTrailerData.json is corrupted, so I deleted it and use the ProfitTrailerData.json.backup and it runs just fine. Question is, can this be automatically done? Or is there a way to prevent this?

So yesterday i bought a Dell i3567 $329 but it has a bad HD. All you need is go on discord and start a chat with PT Assistant and follow the steps there to add the second api for your other account.

In regards to the vps, yes you can access it using teamviewer if you use a windows vps, you can also change the configuration for the bot on the monitoring page.

It's best if you keep your long hold coins in another wallet and not on the same account the bot is running.
No, you can't set a date for the coin to be sold, you would have to do that manually.

Guys I lost near 4 BTC because of profit trailer and someone above told me about settings-on/off during installation. For your kind information I have approximately 3 years of experience in this field. See, when you are having some good amount say about 3 or more BTC then this profit trailer people will steal them. I am using this forum to help people nothing else.

Let's first get some information straight.
You placed your order on Jan-27-2018.

The same day on Jan-27-2018 you opened a ticket (632690) saying you were having error 1022. We then asked you for the exact error message and got no response.
Still on Jan-27-2018 you opened another ticket (757079) this time you asked to be refunded, we answered that refunds takes aprox 7 days to complete.

On the 28th even though you had requested for refund you still were trying to setup the bot, you say you have 3 years experience on this field but it looks like you couldn't even edit a file using notepad (notepad ++) as i quote

Still on the 28th on ticket (531582) you once again asked for refund, again we said it on queue and takes 7 days to process.

On the 31st you opened another ticket (948688) again asking for refund, on those ticket the reply was the same as previous stated that the refund process takes up to 7 days.

Looking at all your tickets looks like you placed your order and a few hours later requested to be refunded because you couldn't setup the bot, you couldn't even edit properties files to be able to turn the bot on.
You opened a total of 6 tickets and NONE of them you ever mentioned anything about running the bot successfully or that you lost any money at all.
2 of the tickets you said the bot wasn't working because you couldn't properly set it up and 4 tickets you were asking for refund (see below)

Ok, I'm back.
I've done as you suggested - my own DD. Meaning I didn't just run out and spend .03 because you told me to. I couldn't find (at the time) any of the 3000 users you suggested I should ask. I wish you had linked me to the  discord channels. I didn't realize how important those channels were. Instead, I wrote to everyone on the first 8 pages of this forum. I researched posting history on each user and I didn't write to those with the Profit Trailer "buy from me" link attached.

It was a simple query. Did you buy or are you using PT and if so is it making the profit they advertise it can?

Of those I contacted all wrote back. A couple of people had words that added up to "Don't Do It", the majority replied that had looked into it and might look into it again. It was clear that none of them owned PT so no real opinions. I had 2 replies from real users. They owned it and were using it. They both stated that PT was working for them as advertised. This was encouraging so the next stop was the wiki.

The wiki is very well done. Very thorough. I read it, some parts several times but there is no understanding the logic until you have the software to work with. Considering the reviews I got from other users and a very detailed wiki, I purchased Profit Trailer. That was eight or nine days ago.

First, Profit Trailer is not a toaster. You can't buy it, plug it in, and make it work. It's only one third of the mix (software+wiki+brain). If you are not going to study the wiki you probably won't profit.

That said, I have had a positive experience although a bit of a wild ride. I funded an account with 0.18 btc and copied some configuration suggestions from the net and started the bot. Copying configurations without realizing what would happen was an error but I wanted to hurry and get it going. By the next morning the bot had used all of my funds and I was in the red and the bot was telling me I had no more funds to buy. Adrenalin rush! Going back to the wiki prompted me again to join discord. The channels I joined - Crow, Gnome, & PT - have really helped me with my strategies but they all stress one thing - read the wiki. I had to adjust the configuration files multiple times through this last downtrend but PT finally dug me out of the bags I was in and even managed to produce a profit of 2.02 percent.

To those that wrote that this is a scam I can assure you that it is not a scam. It's a brilliant piece of software that requires a user willing to seek knowledge. Every setting is a detail to be considered in producing a strategy.  If you are the kind willing to study and experiment a bit I highly recommend PT. It is working for me.

I didn't really like the 3 - 6 - 9 license  / price paradigm but came to realize because of my budget it made no difference. One license, more funds.

Giving credit because credit is due. Superior Program and I'm glad to have purchased.

But I have to reiterate my concern over licenses being non transferable if exchanges go down, goes off line, or get busted is not unfounded. I'm old. I was in BTC-e (busted), Cryptsy (Vern, if you see me coming son you'd better run) and yes, Mt. Gox still has 10.5 of my bitcoin plus 300 bucks in usd. I've lost more to exchanges closing than I ever lost trading. I know you don't think that it can happen to the exchanges we are involved in trading with PT but, in the past 5 years at least 36 exchanges have shut down, usually over fraud.

Out of the 36 exchanges in this two were sold to larger companies, living on, if only in essence. Another two lost banking relationships, forcing closure in spite of any potential. 16 gave up the ghost due to financial difficulties, while 13 claim to have been hacked, four of those closures led to criminal convictions. In total, more than 950,000 bitcoins have been stolen from their rightful owners.

Now, Binance has been down for about 10 hours therefore PT is not functioning. Certainly PT is not at fault but I do think there should be some license contingency plan in the business model if an exchange doesn't come back for some reason.

Any reason why virmach is not on your "approved" vps list? I like that there are a lot of great tutorials from crypto crow and others on that one.

We handle request to change exchange on a case by case basis. If anything like that would of happen (exchange closing) you certainly would be allowed to change exchanges.

In the last few days, i have checked many links on Youtube and it seems people had positive experience using Profit Trailer. I had few questions and will appreciate if someone could help me out:

1) I'm from India and would prefer avoiding too much exposure initially until i become really comfortable with the configuration settings in PT. I wanted to know whether disabling DCA will be a good idea to start with assuming my initial investment will very small (~ $50)?

2) The license fee is quite high [at least for me :) ] so i am worried what if the exchange goes down for any reason. Will the license get transferred to another exchange or i will have to buy another one?

1) Is it better to run it on bcc or eth?
2) Do I need to get rid of all the existing alt coins I’m currently holding on binance before I start using it?

Instead of asking for settings (which by the way is common) you should take the time to learn PT and create your own stratety.
Here is a good link where you can input your settings and it will tell you where it would of bought, that way you can tweak the settings that best suit your needs.

For me, the following line at the top of the GUI is always showing zero:

Profit : ( 0.00 LW)  ( 0.00 YD)  ( 0.00 TD)

Values within the tiles do show the correct values though...

Any changes you make on the web GUI doesn't need restart :)

Its best if you get a VPS, but you can run it on your local computer just fine.

I have a linux box already running with its own instance of Apache with live websites. How do I install PF on this box?

I tried copying all files to the linux, then did:

nohup java -jar ProfitTrailer.jar &

... and it seems to be running. But when I try to access the monitor page by going:

www.(myurl).com:8081

... the browser times out... Not sure if changing the port number would help.

I am finding that people say they get 0.5% to 3% returns per trade. Or, rather, what percent of my account would be done per trade? 2% of $50 a trade on a total account value of $1,000 is only 3% return a month.

So a 1.2% return with $1,000 in an account at five trades a day is 180% monthly return. Or your account is now at $2,800. Yes? Or is it more like 30% a month return on total account value ($1,030)?

If have understood it correctly, it's percentage gain per day, not trade.
So if you have $1.000 on your account, you might get $5 - $30 per day.

Also how are people's returns during the recent corrections we just experienced? Even with my conservative DCA settings, they lock up funds real fast!

Because of my conservative DCA settings, right now I only have 3 pairs in the DCA log but I'm sure it could have been far worse...

It could be my own fault but with the current bot it works fine as long as the market either moves up or moves sideways but when there is a correction (which happens often), I end up with a deep bucket that I don't want even with conservative settings. If I go too conservative, then profits are too low during good market conditions...

Don't bother buying a license. They can actually revoke your license at any time without notice, which they did to me.

I bought a license and I had an issue with my API key, so I went into my exchange and put in a new API key, and they revoked my license telling me i can't put in a new API key, only one I register, which is bullshit.

If you are selling a license then sell a F****** license, not RENT a license. They WILL revoke your license and you would have paid the 0.03 BTC to them which obviously you can't get back.

I notice with the new sub model, there is a standard and a pro... as a v1 license holder, which of these do you now have access to?  

Also, I have a license for Binance, but stopped using the bot for a bit, and am now holding some tokens on that account.   If I was to switch to a new Binance account, can I move my bot to it?  I notice that PT uses two API, one for license and one for trading, could I just change my trading API for the one from the new Binance account?

Why does Profit Trailer lose BTC and the profits it shows keep going up? Actual BTC amount goes down while daily profit percentage seems to be going up.

Using BTC as a base coin (not even comparing to USD yet) then the object is to earn more BTC by trading alts. Only you get bagged up if BTC goes UP OR DOWN! I understand settings are important and you have to stay on top of them adjusting all the time. I am not talking about that.

In order not to get bagged up you have to keep only a small amount in Profit Trailer trading at any given time. Which means, if you can get it to profit, those profits are very small. And you could just buy and hodl BTC instead and come out ahead without Profit Trailer.

It seems Profit Trailer could only make money if BTC is going sideways on any settings. There are people who publish their earngings all the time. And their BTC amounts just keep going down while their daily earnings showing on the Profit Trailer are going up. That simply doesn't make sense.

I guess I just don't understand how Profit Trailer could ever be profitable?

1) Is anyone really making a profit on Profit Trailer over a few months time (not just the first two weeks they turn it on)?

2) And where/how do I get those settings? I have already tried several different settings on multiple bots over the last few months.

Can anyone help with something better than, "Yes, I profit. You just have to figure out good settings on your own by tweaking Profit Trailer yourself."

Otherwise, if you have to keep adjusting Profit Trailer all the time on your own then you might as well just trade BTC manually. It would be easier.
