That definition looks about right.  Angry little monkies like PL, PG, K9, etc... might like you to believe that's happened, but as of yet they've not shown a shred of proof to back up their claims.  Most everyone has given up on them ever providing proof, since none exists, so we are just left with a giant circle jerk of the anti-BFL crowd patting each other on the backs in every thread about how awesome they are and how they are doing a service to the community, while everyone basically ignores what they have to say.  

So, unless you've got some proof fraud has been committed, you should probably move along.  However, if you do have some proof, by all means send it to someone who cares, like the police or something.  If the scale of fraud and illegal acts PG, PL, K9, etc... would have you believe were actually true, don't you think some governmental agency would have contacted us by now?   Occams razor would seem to dictate that PG and crew are liars, since all their claims of fraud have gone unanswered by the people who actually know what fraud is.

I am an Inaba supporter!

Inaba does nothing wrong. He is simply misunderstood. He is only the face of a company that took in millions in June 23rd 2012, and started delivery in April 1, 2013. Then a couple of delays happen, people got confused because they dunk their heads in the toilet all the time, and now BFL customers are just "angry" for no good reason.

Tell them Josh, they are angry for no good reason. Go on, say it. You know you are above board in every single aspect of BFL.

What Inaba should say is that the first sample units will be available in November and possibly through December. As they refine the product they will ship en masse through to January and February.

Therefore all customers will get their units within this time frame. They should expect an early delivery. (without defining what "early means" ;) )

My first contact with small businesses, dysfunctional, scamming, and cons, was with an SBIC in late 1980's.  Seen a lot, but never, ever, the kind of crap this marketplace allows promoters to pull off.  

It's endlessly fascinating.  Hard to change this channel.

That is actually just outside my model. I don't project any further than 6 months ahead. Also, the probability that BFL will actually ship by February is very small given that just 3 days after announcing, they had to delay the product delivery from November 2013 to February 2014.

Then, whatever you do, don't ask for information on how do they even know that the samples will prove to be worthwhile.

Facts: Tapeout in August 2013. Right?
Facts: Low nm parts usually have more layers than high nm parts. Avalon @ 110nm had 29 layers, BFL's 65nm parts had many more. (Each layer takes about 1 day to deposit...hence, the long turn around times)


Question: If BFL is using a 28nm part for Gen2, then how many days does it take for the samples to go through various stages of packaging to figure out if they need to make corrections to the first batch? (Clock buffers anyone?)

If a 28nm part probably takes 90 days....then is BFL betting on November/December being right the first time? Did they really learn from their mistakes?

Does anyone see where I am going with this?

Because of all of this shit I'm getting close to start a flaming BFL thread which (I hope so) would prevent potencional customers from buying from bfl and losing their money. We should have sticked thread about that. Even people from this forum are considering purchase from this joke-company of their new "monarch" delivery-scam-product. Imagine how many are not related with this community and willing to buy like white sheeps. Scam with white glovers, BFL's speciality. Still can't fucking believe.

True and most of it seemed to be concerned with proof of fraud or attorneys. He knows or is worried about what's coming. I threw a quick message out in the shoutbox yesterday asking who might be intertested in launching a class action action against BFL, sort of a tentative feeler: banned for trolling within 2 minutes. I also tried to start a thread about it as well: never got published. Anyway, I'll just wait for word back from attorneys and see what happens.

I think I discovered the problem, unless I'm mistaken. It has to do with another thread of which you believe that I have been deleting your posts. Please believe me when I state that that is not the case. I don't do self-moderated threads. In fact, at this penning, I don't have the slightest clue as to how to start one, thus I am not the one deleting any posts. Perhaps a mod, but seriously I don't have a clue. I also have never put anybody on ignore. The main reason for my ignore being orange stems from my diatribe toward Bitcoinica which cost me indirectly $20K and a quasi-friend $10K directly. Currently, I am out over $100K due to the InstaWallet fiasco. I won't be out a single satoshi with BFL. I hope that puts a little perspective into where I'm coming from.

All-in-all the red flags are just too overwhelming to be ignore, Jacob, hence me keep bringing up the parallels with Laissez Faire City.

I do have full control of my mental capacities and am not on any meds (don't believe that you implied such, just stating a fact).

I don't consider trolling BFL treads when all I'm trying to do is present facts.

I am on record in stating that I don't give a rats ass about the FCC/UL/etc. regulations or that the company is run by a felon. MFOE has also bought chips through my group buy and planned to have boards made, so unless Josh has gone to all the trouble of setting up remailing addresses and purchasing his own chips from other people at what I can only assume is a much greater cost than he'd pay at BFL he's probably not a sockpuppet. His two posts haven't done any promoting of BFL at all, so that seems like a lot of work for no real benefit.

Actually, I offered up an olive branch before I even known one needed offering. Allow me to try again. Jacob, you're an alright guy, and so am I. You and I can easily have a civil discussion.
