This is not really normal because meme coin is more dangerous in this crypto market. They always collect money from investors by showing amazing attractive offers. In reality their project does not last long in the market because most of the team members of meme coin are new generation and they have less experience. They are coming to the market only to grab the investor capital completely.

There are over 26000 altcoins. You can look at the coin marketcap from 2500 coins and see how almost all altcoins are shitcoins. Even before the 2500 coins are also shit coins.

Generally most altcoins are very risky and not advisable to buy, not only just the meme coins.

Altcoins can be considered as risky and meme coins are riskier and it is because of many of the meme projects in the past and even up to now will just evaporate into nothing leaving trusting and naïve investors behind wondering what happened. However, because there can be a few successful meme coins, people are persuaded that they should be looking for that next big, shining meme coin and make a x1000 killing with the tokens they receive for the money they throw to developers or promoters of the project. All the blames is on Elon Musk, Doge is just a meme coin when he shills it to the community, it creates a huge noise Dogecoin became the most talked about and the most hype of that period from then developers tried to imitate the success of Dogecoin, and they succeeded on some meme coins like Shiba Inu and Pepe coin, but I doubt these meme coins are created to last like all the top coins in the market.
Right now many investors are losing their money only the creators and developers of these meme coins are making money, The time will come when people will get enough of these meme coins, hopefully, it will come sooner, We need more innovative coins, not Memes.

the urge to invest in meme coins is from the fact that there has been quite many media that trying to show how some random people could get massive money just by investing in meme coins which I believe is getting taken advantage of by some shitcoins devs to generate flow of investment towards their shitcoins.

Indeed, these are risky investments which don't bring any solid potential of profitability on long term, as they rely solely on hype to make progress and not on real usecase for adopters. In other words: you have to be lucky to invest in memecoins and make profit. It's a kind of lottery where early investors profit and late ones lose money to the first group.

I think that it's not all about investing and earning as much as possible... that part is very important, of course, but there should also be some support for something without the need for profit. Simply said, we use some coins because we like what we can do with them, and in that way, we become part of that community and we support that project. Everyone knows what meme coins are. The thing is people look at it as a quick profiting coins and that's why everyone is hunting whatever coins they wanna hunt.

And the majority of the investors are playing it naive in that they don't wanna think that they're being fooled because they've made a lot of money. When you're done and made a lot of profit already, that's when you have to stop and don't get into it unless you're willing to do it again and you're going to take the risk again that you know that could get you wrong and make you lose eventually. There's really no need to invest into meme coins but can't stop the people that have been on it ever since when they started coming from Dogecoin to Shiba and to the other meme coins.

Riding with the Memecoin hype is not easy, there’s no guarantee that it will pump just like the other project. Over 100 Memecoin only few or below 10 projects was able to reach the peak.

If people understand how meme coins work, they don't dream something impossible with meme coins. Buying meme coins are almost the same as gambling with crypto coins. It is because meme coins have no clear fundamentals to improve its price in the future, they only rely on the hype. If the developers can maintain the hype a long time, people who invest in meme coins have the chance to take good profits. But if the hype disappear very soon, no chance to take profits on the new meme coins.

Basically, all altcoins are risky, we must know that investing in crypto coin is a high risk. So, whatever the coin is, it is always a high risk. Meme coin being the most dangerous coin? It might be, but you know what's more dangerous? It isn't a coin, but it's how investors think. I just hope that most of the investors will wake up, and think that investing not only into meme coin,  but into coins that we already know are very risky always end up as a loss for the investor most of the time. Well, two reasons. First is hype. It’s literally called a meme coin which by its name it can already be assumed that there would be a lot of trolls who’d want to get in on it. Even if they weren’t exactly masters of cryptocurrency or altcoin, coins generated from memes or online communities will attract investors even if said investors didn’t knew what they were doing. They were probably just doing it for laughs and giggles. On the other hand, there would be investors who’ll think they’ve scored the next big project which of course most of the time isn’t the case. Who doesn’t want to put little money as possible and get the biggest profit out of it as possible?  It’ risky, yes, but a lot of people are willing to cling on to that luck.

People had invested in meme coins because of the influence of social media influencers. Yes, they are tempting enough during the hypes as many people show their huge profit investing meme coins but it was not the one that we looked for, we need at least some assurance for the project to stay longer and it grows because of its potentiality not just during its hypes. Meme coins are known for their hype and Elon Muk's influence, not because they are valuable and have a use case which is a big factor why I don't encourage newbies to invest in them.

Most meme coins are created just to collect money from investors, most meme coins have no use case, no road map, and no strong team, most of them are just created and hyped, then they will start pumping. People that sell when the hype is still there are the lucky ones, but the ones that don't sell when the hype is still there or the ones that both sell when the coin already has the hype will end up losing when the hype is no longer there because the coin is going to die, and people that invested there will have nothing left. The creator of the meme might end up creating another coin, and similar things will be repeated. That’s why I see most meme coins as scam coins because most of them don’t have any use.

Elon Musk made shit coin look so amazing of all altcoins when he promoted a shit coin, that is what Dodge coin was referred to in its early stage. If you do not agree then do a Google search. Correct, if will considering in the last 2 years i see over hundreds of MEME coins are launched in the market but only two or three coins was big hyped such as SHIBA, PEPE,FLOKI otherwise all of them already dead. Most people don't always like to follow advise and actually learn from people's experience. You can keep advising them to keep awaway from this meme coins. With time certain horrific dump from many meme coins which has claimed to be the lead after Bitcoin not knowing it was only a dream which can never come true.
The truth about this meme coin is that they lack useful to the community and for what purpose do you think people should invest in it, it has now turned into a get teach scheme only to it's first investors, those who buy at the early stage will definitely see a pump but within a few days interval the market will definitely face a big dump which it can never recover from it and you hear the Dev say buy more before the pump, and promises are made to burn half tokens but all to no avail, after all there promise the project gets dumped and ruged

To me meme coin is something that I can't trust to invest my money and it is something I wouldn't expect much from because the market is not what one  can rely on.
