Bus parking strategy, it's boring for those watching. But can we prevent coaches who try to implement this strategy even though we have paid for a subscription service to watch the match? Coaches apply this boring strategy to win or secure their chance to going to the next round. Of course I feel the same, defensive strategy is boring. Usually, if the coach implementing this defensive strategy, but they are concedes a goal, the rhythm will start to change, and we will see a more interesting match. But, if someone applies a defensive, but they are able to scoring goal, the match will be more boring.
Dortmund are weaker and they know about danger from Real Madrid attacking players so they will choose to play defensive, not attacking. Before the match starts and happens several minutes, we can not know how serious defensive Dortmund will play in the final. They are familiar with pressure from attacks of stronger opponents like Atletico Madrid and PSG, and this will help them in the final.

I believe Dortmund will not only pay attention on defense but will try to wait and find opportunities from counter attacks. They know that if they can defend well and take advantage of counter attacks to exploit Real Madrid's defense system, they can win the final without penalty shoot outs. Winning in 90 minutes is better than playing 30 extra minutes and wait for luckiness from penalty shoot outs.

TBF, even when bitcoin's mempool is congested AF players pretty much just turn to low fee altcoins as they are more familiar with them hence, easier to use as oppose to LN which needs a decent amount of time for the learning curve.
Most of altcoin blockchains can give people cheaper transaction fees than Bitcoin blockchain. Security is good, risk of reverse with Bitcoin blockchain is zero, I can say it's is very small so assume it's zero, but if people only need to move small fund, use altcoin blockchains good alternative solutions when they can not afford to pay expensive fee with Bitcoin blockchain.

Quote
Though I still have a theory that a very few folks could be using LN to gain more privacy since tumbling and mixing are prohibited in most crypto services.
When Lazarus use Lightning Network to launder their hacked money, Lightning Network will be banned and the Protocol will be sanctioned, like Tornado Cash and its source code. The world doesn't stop spinning and cryptocurrency world will continue to be more weird with more serious regulations from governments globally.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: May 30, 2024, 05:07:29 PM
Thanks, I didnt ask about exchanges or 3rd party services like poorbot, and Primedice is not that interesting to me.
I asked other members if they know about any other crypto casinos that have option to tip other members or send coins between accounts.
It's Primedice if they did not stop their tip feature like Stake. I don't know what happened on Primedice but possibly they stop tipping feature too, similar like what they did with Stake because with same owner team, it's difficult to think they will have different decisions on two platforms they are operating.

Why Stake stop it?
Abuse on their platform and affect their business profit or AML?

But all the same it's nice to hear and see a big Bitcoin faucet like freebitico resolve their issues atleast their trust is increased with their resolution to this escalating matter.
I do not think like you.

Resolving an issue or some serious issues is not help to increase their trust or reputation. The best way to defend and increase reputation is don't create issues.

I did not believe FreeBitco.in will turn to a scam site after 11 years of operations but they will need to check their business operation very carefully and find what need to be improved internally. Even they are not scam, incidents like this are not good for their reputation and they will need to avoid it in future.
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: [poorbot.io] | Exchanger for Stake - fast, cheap, simple on: May 29, 2024, 06:03:10 AM
Do you know what other casinos have similar tipping feature or some way to send coins between accounts?
There is Dinabot that works on both Stake and Primedice but because Stake and Primedice are from same owner team.
https://dinabot.exchange/

With this decision of Stake to shut down internal tipping bots, will the same be applied on Primedice platform?

Do you know information about it from Primedice team?
The latest update from dinabot's owner is in February.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where did the 12,400 BTC that was moved from Mt. Gox actually go? on: May 29, 2024, 03:16:50 AM
What 12.400?
It's 141,686  coins being moved
https://mempool.space/address/1JbezDVd9VsK9o1Ga9UqLydeuEvhKLAPs6
With $20 - $30B daily trading volume, if the transaction is only for $12,400 BTC, people would have not feel panic.

With $31B daily trading volume, it is about 453,306 BTC equally and they have reasons to worry about price falls if all or most people who receive distributions from Mt.Gox will sell their bitcoins on the market.

Because 141,686 BTC is about 31% of daily trading volume, smaller or bigger depends on different day and its total trading volume. They have fear that it's unrealistic to think people who got bitcoins stored on Mt.Gox before its last hack in 2014, will have diamond hands now and not sell their bitcoins 10 years later.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are signature campaigns still a thing in bitcointalk.org? on: May 26, 2024, 11:26:29 AM
It is possible that there are members who are completely separated from everything that happens on the forum, so they do not know what is actually happening with sig campaigns (it is even possible that they have blocked signatures)
They can turn off users' avatars and signatures in their profile. Look and Layout Preferences with two following options.

Don't show users' avatars.
Don't show users' signatures.

but that is something that they can find out very easily without asking anyone. Even if you created an account in 2013 and have not been active in recent years, the forum has not changed too much in the sense that today it is more difficult to find your way around all the boards that exist - or use the forum search.
I agree the forum infrastructure does not change too much since 2017 when I joined the forum. Without and with merit system, some changes in Trust, feedback, it is nearly the same like 7 years ago.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin forks and ETFs on: May 26, 2024, 04:04:59 AM
ETF companies are primarily for-profit companies so they will most likely choose the network that they believe will give them the greatest profits in the event of a hard fork.
As big capital management companies, they will think of safety for capital they are managed, not profit first. Because profit can be gained later when chaos ends and risk is smaller, they can find new opportunities to get profit. If they lose capital of their customers, they will go bankrupted and go into jails.

ETF companies don't own private keys and they will have to depend on their partners, the custodians like Coinbase, to claim forked coins. If Coinbase support, I believe they will do, fork claims, ETF companies will not lose anything.

The 2017 hard fork create Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, but we see the main chain, Bitcoin continues to grow, higher and higher in hash rate and price. Bitcoin Cash, the forked coin is like a bonus.

Quote
This means that they will most likely choose the network in which the price is higher or the number of investors is greater. As for ETF investors, they do not have the right to object or choose the network that suits them because in reality they do not own Bitcoin, but rather own shares in these companies, and therefore they are forced to accept the choice of networks that the companies choose.
ETF investors depend on ETF companies which in turn depend on their third-party partners, custodians for example Coinbase. It is like chain of risk from customers to ETF companies to Custodian service providers.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when you earn merits in your post or replies. on: May 26, 2024, 03:56:30 AM
Merits are basically appreciation that you get for the posts that you make in the forum, and to be honest, the amount of happiness also depends on the fact that the person who has given you merits. When you get merited from a well-known, reputable, and trusted member of the forum, you feel privileged and happy for them to appreciate you for what you have contributed, at least I feel that way, but I'm not sure about others.
I am a Full member when forum started to use the merit system and I thought that, what the hell I will stuck as Full member forever. It's shame to admit that before the merit system appearance, I consider myself as a spammer. The merit system changed me, it forced me to spend more time to learn, thinking and write good posts. Many months later, I ranked up from Full member to Hero member as you see now.

Happiness is biggest when I firstly ranked up to Senior member rank because earning my first 150 merits is very difficult. A next rank up to Hero member rank does not give me that same feeling.

I am still far from Legendary, about 170 more merit but I feel like recent months, it is harder to earn merit. It will be time for me to feel exciting if I just receive merit for my posts.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: May 26, 2024, 03:17:05 AM
The game between Leverkusen and Real Madrid in the next season the Champions League is something we are going to maybe see in the race between Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso.
But the fact about this match is that's still far. While I think we should first talk about the game between Real Madrid and Dortmund which is something we are going to see soon.
There is no UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen because they both need to be champions in Champions League and Europa League. We know Leverkusen failed in Europa League final by Atalanta and only Real Madrid can have a chance to play that Super Cub match. If they are there, their opponent will be Atalanta.

I don't know what race between Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso you want to say here. Xabi likely wants to get a coach position at Real Madrid but he has to wait for Ancelotti to leave that position, to step down or be sacked. Two coaches will only meet each other in actual matches if two clubs will be drawn in a same group next season and for now, we don't know it will happen or not.

Quote
I know Dortmound's chance is really low against a team like Real Madrid but seeing them play in the Champions League final match is something we couldn't expect and it's more like a miracle, that's why we should consider the chance for Dortmound to even win this match.
If Atalanta can beat Leverkusen, I see Dortmund will feel their chance in the final match with Real Madrid which is not too big but not too small. Real Madrid are stronger and more experienced than Leverkusen in such final match and with their coach, Ancelotti, they will have good preparation for the final, from training, tactics to warnings to wake up players and eliminate any underestimation and arrogant against Dortmund before and during the match.

I believe experience of Real Madrid and their carefulness will reduce chance for Dortmund to make a shock. Atalanta made big shock because lack of experience from Leverkusen from players to coach even they have an amazing season.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 25, 2024, 01:41:55 PM
I always use highly volatile coins and stable coins trading pairs. Sometimes it works well but sometimes, as normal I lose.
In uncertain times, price is usually boring and it does not change too much. It often fluctuates up and down with very small price change margin. It's not intersting time for trading because when you trade, you need volatility. However, if you are in uncertain time, you will now know that next big volatility will be up or down, and it's very risky to hold your position and hope that market will move up or down to give your position profit.

I will wait for the market to start its high volatility time, a big crash, then I wait for like 30 minutes or 1 hour, before I start trading. If you want a safer entry, you can wait like 4 hours after a crash to enter the market.

Quote
I would say that trading is just good and profitable during bull season but not during bear season.
Trading is for both market types, bear and bull. In bear and bull market, you always will see market crash, correction but if you can wait for it to happen, wait for a few hours for market to calm down, you can trade in both bear and bull market.

Trading means you don't let your position opens for a long time and you don't hold your position in days or weeks.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rune vs BRC20 on: May 23, 2024, 11:05:42 AM
What are the other key differences between Rune and BRC20? Are there more compelling cases for Rune as an innovative btc standard?
Both Ordinals and Runes are from altcoin developers who saw great chances to deploy their useless NFTs on Bitcoin blockchain by exploiting holes in Taproot. I don't consider they are Bitcoin developers and those projects like Ordinals, Runes are not projects that built for Bitcoin communities.

People who don't have experience, are greed enough, will be scammed by Ordinals and Runes, lose their bitcoins to purchase those useless NFTs and their native tokens as well as waste their bitcoins to mint those inscriptions.

After creating many shit forks like BCH, BSV and more, most are dead now, these scam developers found other ways to steal bitcoin from greed people. They want to get rich and the easy way to get rich is holding their bitcoins but they unfortunately choose to do a harder way, invest in Ordinals, Runes and will lose their bitcoins.

How many Bitcoin forks are there?
15  Other / Meta / Re: Why not temporary ban coinmapai199264? on: May 23, 2024, 10:56:55 AM
So IMO this user should be nuked immediately.
Is nuked only apply for newbies ?

For higher rank members, their accounts will be banned, temporarily or permanently, not nuked if I remember right about nuke.

Lauda as staff member had the ability to nuke newbie accounts that potentially could generate plenty of sig spam and account sales at the time they ranked up. If you exterminate the problem where it starts (newbies in this case), then eventually it will lead to a cleaner forum. Who's going to nuke these accounts now? Exactly... It's party time for account farmers looking to expand their farm gang.

That won't work, only Newbies can be nuked, and Mods aren't going to manually delete 1000+ posts.

After writing, I check the account and see it is a newbie. Sorry for this confusion because I saw he made many posts and I thought he is not a newbie. With many deleted post, now he is a newbie with only 2 posts.
16  Other / Meta / Re: Is selling a script of a service that was taken down by Law Enforcement Ok? on: May 22, 2024, 03:32:21 AM
The person in question even uses the name DeSnakeS similar to, the Cofounder and admin of the alphabay darknet market at that time - DeSnake.
I do neither know about Alphabay darknet nor the person but click on your given link, I see one thing. I am not sure and confusing that a person who runs a darknet market changed the account default settings, to display an email used for that account here.

I know about proton mail service but display the email address is not a recommendable practice in privacy for everyone.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accumulating Bitcoin or trading Bitcoin which is more wise to do. on: May 21, 2024, 11:35:13 AM
So, any day, anytime, I would pick accumulating Bitcoin. Trading doesn't hold much significance, unless when I buy more to accumulate more.. lol Cheesy
Accumulation bitcoins gradually with time is a good investment strategy as it will help you to gain many things simultaneously.

Increase your total capital spent in bitcoins as your investment.
Reduce impacts from price volatility.
Increase your portfolio ROI in a bull run because Bitcoin stays around bottom range with a longer time than how it stays in peak range in a bull run.

You will have more time to accumulate bitcoin than time to take profit in bullish months within a single cycle.

Your accumulation is only healthy and sustainable if you don't use all money you have at any specific time to invest in bitcoin. Because you always need to have money in either cash or stable coin to use for many necessary and vital things in your life.

DCA $50 weekly, in last four years, I invested $7,850 totally and now my portfolio value becomes $16,643.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why use decentralized bitcoin in a centralized way? on: May 21, 2024, 06:08:21 AM
I learnt that decentralization is a unique attribute of Bitcoin. And this attribute permits bitcoin users to have total control over their money and be their own banks.
Decentralization of Bitcoin has nothing to do with control or non-control of bitcoins for Bitcoin holders. It more relates to private keys/ mnemonic seeds.

If people use good wallet softwares, to create their wallets and by this get private keys, they will have control of their coins. If they use bad wallet softwares or use online accounts to store their bitcoins but don't have access and control of private keys, they don't actually control their coins.

Quote
From my research recently, I have come to realize that a lot of bitcoin users are still stuck with the traditional idea of saving money with a central authority. Importing this idea to a decentralized Bitcoin, has led to the invention of bitcoin banks, exchanges and custodial wallets.
Centralized platforms are built and provided for people who want convenience and don't want to learn basics to secure their money better. There are always people who want to get convenience and forget or don't care about security and safety.

But safety, security should be first considerations for all.

Quote
Now, as the day passes, more bitcoiners are becoming centralized.
I believe you only thought the fact is like this, believed it like this and I believe you did not write it base on any on chain information.

I think you dont get it, it is not about where to put it in the landing page but if you look at the image clearly then you will notice something wrong with it.
Look at what are under the About Us and what are under the Terms of Services, do you think what are listed under that matched to the title?
That's the main point by acroman, not about the position where they should put it in the landing page.

Hence, I think this is what acroman08 meant as shown below.

Example,

TERMS OF SERVICE                                       ABOUT US                                      COMMUNITY

Privacy policy.                                                   Blog.                                                 Facebook
AML policy.                                                        Help center.                                     Twitter
Terms and Conditions.                                    Live Support.                                   Instagram
Responsible Gambling                                    Promotion e.t.c.                              Telegram

The explanations from you both make sense and help me to understand it very well. Now, I got what acroman wanted to say and I agree with acroman and you all about the need to change the column headers or keep the column headers but change the sub lines under each column.

It is not hard to change but the business representative here must inform this issue to their team, then get internal approval for the changes. Then pass it to developer team to adjust their landing page a little bit.
