2  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Broken / partially working / dead Avalon SHA256 miners (7th gen and newer) on: June 28, 2019, 03:34:58 PM
6/24 Still looking for miners in need of repair!

Willing to take 721s that are working (last checked 1 and a half year ago I think)?

Most likely, if the price is right. Smiley

What's the magic number? Also where about are you located?

I would say, less the $100 per miner.  This is assuming that it is only the miner and it's auc cable.  I always look for broken units because someone might have one that is just sitting.  I have the capacity to repair most miners I have worked on, unless the glue the heatsinks to the ASICs.

I am located just north of Charlotte NC USA.  Could send a shipping label to you.

sent a pm no reply.

Replied. I am primarily looking for non-working hardware.

As in title, looking for (non-working) 7th gen and newer SHA-256 Avalon stuff.  Preferably whole miners.  No need for older stuff or power supplies / controllers.

Will send shipping label. Please PM or post here what you have and what you want for it.

Payment in BTC (Bitcoin) or XMR (Monero).

Thanks!

I have a pair of a721,but they are working my zip code is 07731.

Let me figure out what they are worth to me.

Interesting.  Could work with my 741's.

9  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: USB Miners at crazy prices. Why? on: June 10, 2019, 01:08:11 AM
I sold over 80 block erupters on Ebay recently.  Always indicated they where novelty only.  They still sold well.  I have lots of old miners for back in the 2012/2013
era of mining.  Block erupter blade anyone?  How about a gridseed or 10. Cheesy

dont tease im still happy if i can pick up a S1 for $40 UK mining gear is expensive as hell

I still have 11 S1's packed up.  Two of them I paid 4BTC for back in 2012. Shocked

Great miner! Nice replacement for SGminer.  Does this use the same API backend as SGminer?  What port is default?
12  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Looking for DEAD/BROKEN mining hardware and GPUS. on: December 11, 2018, 03:12:25 PM
I have hundreds of Antminer S9.

I might be interested in one or two.  Are they nonfunctional?  PM me.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Add V8 and Stellite support to SGminer? on: December 03, 2018, 11:10:05 PM
I have used all of those miners.  They are great miners and fast.  None of them support JSON / volt control / temp monitoring / remote mangement like SGminer does.

Besides, the topic of this thread is adding support for new CN versions (V8 & Stellite) to SGminer.  Not using other miners instead.  I can offer a bounty if someone

can do it.  Feel free to PM me.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Add V8 and Stellite support to SGminer? on: December 03, 2018, 01:58:50 PM
In addition to what's already been said above I will just add that SGminer is pretty damn old now and that you can only extract that much performance out of those kernels.

There are newer, much better miners out there that have been developed from scratch that'll hash CN algos much faster than any SGminer fork will ever be able to do by now.

Examples?  I have never found a miner faster than SGminer.  Also none of the new miners fully support remote monitoring using JSON.  Claymore at least had Ethman.

I primarily want a miner that has decent JSON, like CGminer has.  The developer of SRBminer has said that their miner supports it, but I have not found info on it.

Seems like all development for this miner has stopped. Huh

Dear Stellite Developers,

Please fork SGminer to your git with support for your coin.

Cheers!

Can anyone here do this?  I am no developer so a bounty might be in order.

is there a manual for Windows. to install the masternode ?

Just this one:

https://www.scribd.com/document/359751600/Terracoin-Step-by-Step-Masternode-Tutorial-for-Windows-Users

Good guide, but it is slightly outdated and does not list commands or explain why you must do certain things.  This software is intended mostly for VPS users.  My

masternode worked great for months until the latest update (I am a windows user and OWN my server).  I have troubleshot for three days and all I get is this:

"status": "Not capable masternode: Masternode not in masternode list"  when i run "masternode status" from the console.  Even completely recreated the masternode and

still not working.  Also, I had to use a workaround because I am behind a nat.  This is an old bug carried over for Dash, documented here:

https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/cant-detect-valid-external-address-unable-to-start-mn.13233/

Edit:  When I type "Masternode start-all" into the console the client closes unexpectedly.
