So I heard about a trustless mixer, any more details on that?

Good to see another solid project from some old-timers. Sigma protocols sound very flexible for blockchain applications, I'm curious why no one else has done this yet.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Satoshi's coins will never hit the market on: October 31, 2019, 10:20:45 PM
We can't say that holdings of Satoshi hasn't hit the market. Till date we don't know exactly the holdings that belongs to Satoshi. With some data a wallet is termed to be his own wallet. Upon the same we can't conclude he hasn't got any other wallets. There is more chances for the bitcoin to hit the market than being idle in a wallet.

Actually there's some good research into Satoshi's mining activities. It's very compelling and the coins haven't moved.

I believe I have decyphered the meaning of the .txt part. Other than that, no luck.
I've also tried contacting blockladder on the email address blockladder@yahoo.co.jp, but unfortunately, it's been long disabled. You can send messages to watashi, but don't expect an answer. Though, I believe they are still watching.

I haven't given up yet.

P.S: I'd like to see thinking-out-of-the-box people as Tsuyugushi appear again. It is not over.

P.S.2: I'm getting some serious progress now. Or it's one huge coincidence.

P.S.3: Assuming all I know is true, and hell, this would be a magical coincidence if not, I have also decyphered the whole meaning of the question. What remains a mystery is the logic behind the anagram and a correct combination.

Any way you can solicit help without giving up critical information?

Pretty cool this is what we've been working towards for 5 years - and it's actually happening now!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves Token | Traded on Bittrex on: July 30, 2019, 07:29:33 AM
I have a question in regard to the purchase of Incent tokens by Incent the company - how do you determine scaling of purchasing before users have paid subscriptions? ie. how much value have you set aside to purchase Incent? How many users could the platform support? - Also, what currency do you use to purchase Incent on behalf of a customer, and how do you manage any risk in that regard?

I think you have misunderstood the model. There's no need to pre-buy. Incent are bought as required off the open market. And there's no limit to how many users the platform can support.

I don't know if you guys have already decided on it or not but will I have to perform some sort of KYC to be able to use the platform?

Yes, KYC is obviously involved in syncing your bank and some details are taken on sign-up.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][INCNT] Incent Loyalty | Waves Token | Traded on Bittrex on: July 25, 2019, 12:29:56 PM
Are there any plans for you guys to start buying back INCNT tokens in the future? Asking this because the volume is quite low right now and risks delisting from binance.

Incent has never been listed or traded on Binance.   The two main markets are Bittrex International and Livecoin.   The daily trading volumes on there have been consistently similar in recent times.   So it is unlikely that there will be any risk that Incent will be delisted from either of those.   Most likely, the volume will gradually be increasing as people start using the Incent that they have earned from the service.

So sorry I meant Bittrex. I was actually talking to my friend about binance at the same moment thats why I might have wrote Binance mistakenly.

When can we start earning from their platform?

Volume's been pretty good recently: https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-incnt
Unless you're in Aus you'll need to wait for global rollout.

The new Insync tech platform that launched is a really cool concept. However it is just available to Australian users. When will you roll out to other countries or do you first want to prove the tech in Australia?

Yes - prove the tech and its use case in Aus, then expand.

There is talk in Telegram of a delay to launch. I could not work out if any reason was given.

Has the platform launched, and have the subscription prices for users to receive any benefit been published?

I would also like to confirm that any user wishing to actually receive any Incent into their sole possession will have to pay a subscription.

From Telegram earlier:

Rob Wilson, [19.07.19 00:28]
Product live @ my.incent.com

Rob Wilson, [19.07.19 00:29]
Marketing website will be live within the next couple of hours @ Incent.com

Rob Wilson, [19.07.19 00:34]
Subscription options will be as follow:
Bronze: AUD 10 pcm to earn up to AUD 20 INCNT pcm
Silver: AUD 20 pcm to earn up to AUD 40 INCNT pcm
Gold: AUD 50 pcm to earn up to AUD 100 INCNT pcm
Platinum - Bespoke plan

Rob Wilson, [19.07.19 00:36]
These will be published in-product as soon as the design/UX is coded

Rob Wilson, [19.07.19 00:38]
If a user decides against subscribing to any of these options but keeps their account synch'd they will still be rewarded when they shop at a partnered merchant.

Couple of typos and overall tone suggest that this is off-the-cuff at best. If it's legit then I imagine Zuck will read it in the smallest room and quickly put it behind him.

I think the best thing would be if we put together an example explaining exactly how it works. Will get back to you on this.

Yes, I agree. tbh I think your offering should be clear before you announce a launch.

The two new articles indicate an approach nothing to do with loyalty, as far as I can see. Incent is now more aligned with projects such as https://getamber.io/ - but using a custom premined token.

Is https://www.wavesworld.io/#team a more loyalty focused product now?

In the management of loyalty products for (larger scale) merchants which is the better product, and why?

I've answered the first part of your question on Telegram. Amber and Incent look similar in the way they automate the purchase of crypto in the course of everyday spending, but aside from buying different crypto (BTC/INCNT), what funds the purchases is very different. In the case of Amber, customer purchases are rounded up and the change used to buy BTC. For Incent, the money comes partly from regular subscriptions and partly from retailer deals.

Waves World is an ecosystem that includes a mining pool, Telegram community and tipbot, marketplace where you can buy things for crypto, and a few other things. WW is focused on the crypto world, while Incent is designed for mainstream adoption. They both use the Waves blockchain but the infrastructure used to deliver rewards is completely different.

Totally hear you, Cassius. Here's my method, though.

Here are the steps...basically...and of course I could be wrong but take it with a grain of salt.

1. We know Natasha Otomoski is equivalent to Satoshi Nakamoto. That's very obvious.

2. To obtain NATASHAOTOMOSKI=SATOSHINAKAMOTO we know how the letters have to be arranged. Its exactly what Watashi-Kokoto said (whether he's the OP or not doesn't matter).

3. So numbering 1-15, we get "5, 2, 3, 8, 13, 6, 15, 1, 4, 14, 7, 11, 10, 9, 12"

4. Now let's use an alphabet:

5. A=1, B=2, C=3 D=4, E=5, etc..

6. Now rearrange the alphabet using step 3:

7. "E   B   C   H   M   F   O   A   D   N   G   K   J   I   L"

8. This is the decryption key.

9. (8,2,3,9,1,6,11,4,14,13,12,15,5,10,7)⇔(5,2,3,8,13,6,15,1,4,14,7,11,10,9,12)-1

SUMMARY

What I'm saying is that we know the NATASHA --> SATOSHI is a permutation. So, why wouldn't the rest of the phrase be as well?  I could be totally in left-field, for sure. But this is my best assumption.

My issue with this is that while it's clearly an anagram, it doesn't have to be a permutation cipher. In fact, the odds of it being a permutation cipher actually seem pretty low - because the key has to be 15 characters long. Example:

SATOSHINAKAMOTO
CRAIGSWRIGHTBTC
A key exists that maps the first to the second... but that doesn't prove anything.

3- or 5-character keys would also work, but none exist that map Natasha... -> Satoshi. If there was one, this would dramatically increase the odds of being on the right track.

https://crypto.interactive-maths.com/permutation-cipher.html

I’ll type a detailed response after breakfast. You can use this permutation cipher silver to check the key. Type natashaotomoski in the bottom box, the key where it says key, and hit decrypt.

I get what you're saying, sure. But just because a key exists that turns one phrase into another doesn't make that key meaningful.
If it was a 3- or 5-character key, that could be more meaningful. But there will always be a 15-character key that turns one 15-character phrase into another 15-character phrase. So it's basically irrelevant.

So I'm tired of trying this weekend.

Quote
NATASHAOTOMOSKI --> SATOSHINAKAMOTO
is a permutation cipher. I've known this for a while. Here's the key:

Quote
e   b   c   h   m   f   o   a   d   n   g   k   j   i   l

Here's what I can't figure out. If the remainder of the phrase is also a permutation cipher, how do we extend this key? It does NOT work for the entire phrase.

If we can figure out the key for the WHOLE phrase, that'll give us the full translation for whatever the ?.txt file might be.

Someone skilled in decoding might have some ideas. Let's keep this going Smiley

edit:

Quote
E   B   C   H   M   F   O   A   D   N   G   K   J   I   L
5   2   3   8   13   6   15   1   4   14   7   11   10   9   12
S   A   T   O   S   H   I   N   A   K   A   M   O   T   O

How can you be sure this is a permutation cipher? It's equally possible the 'key' is just the result of a random anagram, right?

Does anyone want to have a local copy of this thread? I could compress all pages into a downloadable file, so you can search the raw HTML for old posts.

How big would that be? Put it in the BSV blockchain, they have gigabyte blocks. The only other thing there are weather stuff.

Don't mean to get technical on you all the sudden by I was looking into it the other day and as of right now its only possible to cram 100 KB of data into a single BSV transaction (or 4 JJG posts -- sorry JJG, you know I'm still a fan).

After they switch to 2 GB blocks, it would only take about a week of spamming their transactions with as much data as possible until the BSV blockchain grew to over 2 terabytes in size.

Needless to say, it would only be a few months of constant spam attacks before the blockchain became too unwieldy for almost anybody to manage it. Their node count would drop to near zero.

If the transaction fee was around 1 cent per tx, the attack would cost about $1,200/hr to run. Frankly I don't see why this won't eventually happen.

I would absolutely donate money to a fund that was created for the sole purpose of stuffing BSV with junk to these ends.
Someone needs to set this up.

The latest news confuses me further. Is Incent now a user-pays crypto saving scheme? Could you explain in simple terms what would happen if I join Incent, and spend $50 at woolies? Do I end up with Incent, and if so, who paid for it?

I think the best thing would be if we put together an example explaining exactly how it works. Will get back to you on this.
