Still not seeing my incent in my account. Bought incent yesterday with waves... my balance is still zero? Can someone please help here?

Afraid that's a temporary API issue. Hopefully fixed soon. Rest assured your funds are safe!
You should also make sure you've pasted your address in the right box in the login area.

why have incent choose waves Huh :-D

Technically it is the best fit for the job. Asset-to-asset trading, speed and scalability are all critical for a mass-market solution. There is also a close relationship between the teams.

I have joined the signature campaign. How much invested so far in opening day?

Opening day has another 5 hours left, but so far it looks like 77 BTC and nearly 100k Waves has been invested, along with 447 BTC pre-ICO investment, for a total of 524 BTC or $320,000 all in.

People will buy anything. This project is a joke. You have a carrot for a logo and a name that is as close to the name incest as you can get.
Run away. NO business will take this carrot incest business seriously

What % of premine is retained by the Incent team?

A maximum of 12% on top of the tokens created after is retained.
In addition, there is a reserve equal to the amount created - but this is not spent or run down, it is simply used to maintain liquidity and pay customers promptly, since fiat transfers take a while to turn up but we need to transfer Incent immediately at point-of-sale. So it will have little effect except to smooth the market.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Incent: The first universal, merchant-backed loyalty platform on: October 01, 2016, 05:28:51 PM
Why is this ICO pricing so high? Only 10k Incent per 1 BTC? Why not use the other system where shares get diluted based on how much money is invested so every gets a better share?

How does this make a difference? You still have the same proportion of the total. It's also important to us to put a fiat cap on our ICO.

something new in cryptoland.

could this be the miles program to cyptocurrencies? or is this similar to the rebate system of Plutus?

I'm not familiar with Plutus, but we think this is a unique take on loyalty. It's not just a more efficient form of existing loyalty schemes, but something we think is qualitatively better.

That's absolutely impossible to say, without more information. Specifically, your timeframe, amongst other things Smiley

Return will be a function of merchant adoption (buy pressure) and initial market cap, which we won't know until the end of the ICO.

It's designed to be low-risk, low-drag. So merchants decide what % of customer purchase amounts to remit back to the customer as Incent - it could be 0.5% or 20%, depending on your profit margins and growth targets.
BitScan acts as primary broker and charges a small fee, and takes care of sending the Incent to the customer - the merchant doesn't have to handle crypto at all. And the same for redemption, you can decide what discount to give to customers who pay in Incent.

Horrible name for a loyalty program...

Seems like a pretty good name for an Incent-ives programme.

the author of the wallstreet article mentioned above is not getting it. i mean we talk about DIGITAL stuff here. bitcoins are divisible, that is basic knowledge. do digital things exist that cannot be divided?

Quote
When it comes to wagering on online games such as poker, it becomes difficult to use them as a currency because it is difficult to break them down into smaller units that can be used as a wager

http://wall-street.com/bitcoins-slow-dominance-internet-good-thing/

Ouch!
That's indeed so embarrassing! However it says a lot about the qualification and competence that author is having regarding that topic.
Someone should make them aware how dumb that statement is.
The whole article is just again an attempt to present Bitcoin again in proper light!
But should we be surprised? This is Wall-Street talking! Cheesy

Also, it is possible for hackers to create bogus bitcoins! I never realised.

Hey folks, like the project, but

do the participant have to withdrawal from own btc wallet (holding private key), or is it fine to withdrawal $btc from exchange account bitcoin wallet to incent ICO deposit address?

You can deposit bitcoin from any address, exchange or own wallet. If you're in any doubt, try a small test transaction first.
If you're depositing Waves, you should NOT use an exchange, only your own wallet (download at www.wavesplatform.com)

Hi there everyone.
Now we had the Waves Ico and we are all waiting for it to take off this is another great opportunity to invest in a promising startup.
Their goal is pretty clear and I think this one can actually do a lot for main stream adoption of Crypto.
Go Incent team.
Good luck to all investors.

Thanks Mrdeeds! Very exciting times, especially with the news of the first business partner.

Hi

Please help... I've just bought incent with my waves (from the waves lite client to the provided waves address) and I'm not seeing my incent balance. How long will this take to reflect?

Thanks

We're working on this. Currently we're having trouble accessing the Waves API, which means that the Incent you bought with Waves aren't reflected in your dashboard. They are there, and the total Waves collected is updated, but you can't see your own.
Pete is working with Waves devs to address this asap!

ICO finished??  In the morning ,i see the total USD is about $472million. and after six hours ,$500million has achieved??

It's just started! The figure you're looking at is more like $4.7m, and it's what's left until we hit the investment cap.

Can't find 2FA on your ICO site.
Is there no 2FA?

This will be implemented before withdrawals are enabled.
