Any eth algo will get destroyed by ASICs. E9 is now $1,299 no reason not to buy one if you mine ethw
The problem is that these asics were sold out in a few hours and now they are sold for 2-3 times more on the market. This is a very profitable mining. Look at the price of these asics in your country, I think you will be very disappointed when you find out the selling price of these asics. I can get one for $3,700, not going to buy one but that's a good deal if your only interested in mining eth algos. One machine Equals 390 3080s.

Selling GPUs and buying ASICs. I don't see any GPU mineable coin that could absorb a large amount of hash like ETH. Also holding/buying coin. Of course if anything changes I'll change, bend with the wind go with the flow.

I turned on all my gear and made a lot of buys yesterday and today.

I'm still mining chia, 1 PB worth. Can't beat chia for dollar earned vs watts burned but the hard drives are expensive for the return. A cheap ebay 14TB HD is a little over two years ROI.

Take your electrical cost and use it to buy coins, GPU mining isn't worth it right now.

Don't GPU mine, DCA into coins. Your wasting money on electricity. I set up coinbase to buy every day DOGE and BTC. Also have a few ASICs that are profitable, L7, 2 Jasminers, 1 ipollo ETC miner and 9 Ipolo Grin miners.

Have you tried a older version of TRM?

You try removing all over clocks? When i mined nim on my 5700s it was very buggy and crashed a lot.

I have 150 gpus turned them off and switched to DCA. Bear market plus no coin near the marketcap of eth I don't see gpu mining being close to profitable for a good while. Probably going to start slowly selling gpus and see what things are like in a few months. I'm always searching for opportunity and don't see any, even BTC difficulty went up 10% last adjustment.
Do you have any estimated time about dealing with selling 150 GPUs? Lol no idea but I still haven't made up my mind, if I sell it will be over time may be a a couple gpus a week.

What would be the advantage of developing aps on ethw vs etc

I have the small doge miner, not profitable but runs fine.

I remember a few years ago there was a project like this.
Where you had to own the coins to be able to mine the coin. Coin profitability was actually very high. Because many miners had to purchase the coins to be able to mine.
Then…. Exit scammed.
Forgot the name of this coin? Maybe someone remembers?
Bit Free Cash, I remember watching it blow up.

What is the difference between ETC and ETHW? Why would a developer pick ethw over etc?
