2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 18, 2024, 09:50:19 PM
I don't know how far you followed up the premier league next season but I don't think that Arsenal lacked quality players at all because the likes of Bukayo Saka, Trossard, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz they are all professional and intelligent players and their performance in the EPL can attest to that, the only problem Arsenal has is their inability to withstand a stronger opponent in the Champions league if not they did well in the group stage matches last season.

Quote
Next season will be another interesting Champions League season because we will have Bayer Leverkusen that finished the Bundesliga season unbeaten, we will have a well composed Manchester City, and an Arsenal with a striker follow by Inter Milan and other teams that would have strengthened their squad in the transfer window all to face a Madrid with Mbappe and other deadly wingers. I can’t wait to see next season because it will
Be nice.

Sure next season champions league will be so full of competition since Real Madrid is now the eyes of every one due to their outstanding performance but what would be would be because even if Real Madrid has the highest squad now but one mistake can ruin their chances of even making it to the final stages because any team they would meet in the group stages would want to prove difficult in order to stop Madrid from advancing but with the current squad of Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jnr, am afraid if any team can be able to conquer Madrid.
Did anyone said Arsenal Arsenal lack some quality player... if yes  point them out they need some bat slapping  Grin, let's just say Arsenal is a good team which luck is always against mostly in small games Cheesy although they need to work on the communication  within the team..
About the next UCL, I think Realmadrid  is pushing everyone  to doing some redress because  next UCL might be a very hard game... maybe, maybe not we'll all  witness it soon Smiley

You can read the comment below and know what the person is saying but all I know is that Arsenal is not a lazy team just like what you said, the club is just being unlucky for some seasons now but doesn't necessarily mean that they ain't trying their possible best. If we compare the performance of Arsenal in the past two seasons you will know that the team have improved a lot unlike when Arsene Wenger was using the club to do business of building quality players and selling them off.
This just past season has fought some teams lesson especially Arsenal for thinking that lack of striker and some inexperienced players will not affect them in the Champions League; .

The champions league will be very Epic next season, however we can't underestimate the capacity of other clubs to win the title even though Real Madrid have the highest odds and stakes but the reverse may be the case if they don't apply carefulness.

When every team finishes a season and plans for a new season, everyone hopes that they will do well in the next season. Every team that plays in the Champions League tries to make the team with their maximum. Maybe big teams and other teams are not successful in integrating players because they have many problems in this regard. There are some teams that have financial problems but have the will but not the means and there are some teams that have a good amount of players but no quality manager at their club. However, the upcoming season will be more competitive but we expect it because when the competition is tough, the excitement of the game reaches its peak.
This just past season has fought some teams lesson especially Arsenal for thinking that lack of striker and some inexperienced players will not affect them in the Champions League; although they tried but their effort was not counted because people expected them to do better that even though it was Bayern Munich that eliminated them through a tough encounter.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: June 17, 2024, 07:13:34 PM
Belgium and Lukaku are really very unfortunate and it's hard to believe. Two Belgian goals were always disallowed which forced them to swallow the bitter pill. Slovakia really welcomed this quite important victory and it was good capital for them. Indeed, the Euro drama looks like it will continue and make this tournament always get more attention.

Belgium was so unfortunate against Slovakia this night after Romelu Lukaku's goals were disallowed by the Virtual Assistant Referee (VAR) though the first goal was disallowed due to an offside in the 56th minutes of play then 30 minutes later in the 86th minutes, Lukaku's goal was again disallowed by VAR after spotting a previously committed fowl which left the Belgian side devastated over the unfortunate scenarios.

The Belgian team tried their best in this game tonight but what I saw was just that they were so unlucky however, the Slovakian defenders were able to defend the goal till they ended in full time, the early goal that Belgium conceded in the 7th minute led to their lost in this game. Though Slovakia isn't also an easy team but their squad can't be compared with that of the Belgium squad, a lot of gamblers must have staked on Belgium to win since they are the stronger side but it is what it is.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 17, 2024, 02:15:00 AM
Inflation is a bastard and that is the more reason why Bitcoin is gonna put an end to inflation and financial slavery as almost every country one way or the other is experiencing inflation as the world is going towards economic crisis and recession however, in my country last year December 2023, the inflation rate was 28.92% as against the inflation rate in December 2022 which was 21.34% that is to show that it increased by 7.58% in December 2023 while in April 2024, the inflation rate rose to 33.69% which means that the inflation rate from December 2023 to April 2024 rose by 4.77% high. This is to show that instead of the inflation rate to reduce it's still increasing thereby making the cost of goods and services high and making livelihood difficult for the common man and woman and this inflation is suffered by many even when high percentage of people in the country doesn't have a job or are on low income salary range.

In recent years, inflation have been on the increase and a major setback to the development of the country and it tends to make life even more difficult as an average family can hardly afford three square meal in a day which also means that the inflation rate of the country has made many suffer abject poverty and unable to afford daily needs. When we talk about building materials or the cost of accommodations in the country, the cost of petroleum products, the cost of transportation and all that almost everything is on the increase.

Yes, inflation is terrible and it is slowly killing us, but I wonder how will bitcoin end inflation? Inflation is not only the result of the Government printing money in an uncontrolled way, but inflation is also the result of an imbalance in supply and demand, the gap between supply and demand is too large. And there are thousands of causes of supply and demand imbalance, the Covid pandemic is also one of the causes.

Bitcoin has potential and has many benefits but to say it will solve inflation or poverty by adopting bitcoin, which is an exaggeration. We need more than one solution and it is not as easy as we think, just the government stops printing money and inflation will disappear.

Yes Bitcoin can put an end to inflation if we continue to accumulate and HODL and it's adoption continues to increase such that the 21 million Bitcoin is totally mined because after that time it will become a long term asset and may likely become a stable coin since there will be no supply anymore except if the need arise. However, even if the government stops printing money it can't completely end inflation because inflation is driven by a lot of factors.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins do you own or have you collected until now? on: June 15, 2024, 12:00:24 PM
I'm not going to reveal how many BTC I have right now. Grin It's not that much, so there's no reason for me to brag about it.
I had 1.25 BTC back in the summer of 2015, but I sold it because I was expecting the price to drop from 300 USD down to 100 USD. Grin
I remember having around 0.33 BTC back in 201-2017 and I sold most of it before the big bull run. Yeah, I know I wasn't a good trader back then. I don't know how many BTC I have earned from sig campaigns in the last 8 years. The amount must be decent, but honestly I don't care about this information.
Just saying, see back then the investors are delighted to share how much Bitcoin they own, them owning hundreds of Bitcoin but yet are open on their portfolio but we who do not own even 1 Bitcoin are secretive on how much Bitcoin we own  Cheesy. I would also do the same, I would not aswell give a concrete answer, but I own some fractions of Bitcoin that is worth more than some cups of coffee  Cheesy.

Those days that hodlers display the amount of Bitcoins they own was when the price of Bitcoin was so low like less than $0.10 in 2010, do you know how much Bitcoin such investor who bought bitcoin then would own in November 2013 when the price surge to $1000? So those days were literally better days than now that the price got to an ATH of $73k like how many people apart from the whales can boost of owning more than 1 BTC now except a hodler who have been hodling for over a decade and there are very few investors that can say that they have been hodling for over 10 years if at all there is any and now even if one owns 1 BTC it will be hard for that person to reveal it because of some security reasons and moreover, 1 BTC is a whole lot of money for one to be flaunting on the internet regardless of the fact that majority of us are anonymous in the forum but there is still need keep personal information private from the public.

So just like the chart below of Bitcoin price movement since 2010 when the price was around $0.09 till March 2024 when it got an ATH of $73k, you will know that Bitcoin is even yet to break more higher price in the future so all we need do is to HODL.

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the bears take advantage? This bull run lasts so long on: June 15, 2024, 06:22:06 AM
I don't think that we'll see this bull run up until the next halving. But what's good is that every cycle that we're coming in, we're having a new higher low for Bitcoin and the price is going to be higher compared to the last cycle of bull run. And anticipating the bears, that might take on 2026 for which most of us are assuming that this year to 2025 is likely the actual bull run, and the peak might appear from 9-10 months from now on. But who knows? every cycle is becoming different and depends on the news that will come out unexpectedly.

Checking at previous historical data of Bitcoin price movement I don't think that a bull season can run till the next halving because as more investors are coming in others that have made some good profits will want to take their profits and when there is also a massive withdrawal of Bitcoin from exchanges to safe wallets it also affects the price of Bitcoin to fall so just like you said, every cycle comes with different expectations so let's see how far the bull will run till it starts becoming bearish but for now we should be expecting to see the price of Bitcoin reach it's peak after some months from now as that has always been the aftermath in previous halving seasons. However, the bear season may start between the fourth quarter of 2025 or the early stage of 2026 but it's not certain when the real bear season will happen.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2023/24 Season on: June 14, 2024, 09:58:15 PM
Giovanni van Bronckhorst was the right choice for Beşiktaş. The Dutch manager, who had a successful spell at Rangers, will receive only 2 million Euro per year. This was the way it should be. There is no point in paying 11 million Euro a year to a manager like the rival teams. Now, if the players Van Bronckhorst wants are bought, an ambitious squad will be formed this season. Both in the league and in the Europa League progress can be made.
While Van Bronckhorst was a football player with a very successful career, he also managed to become a career-developing coach. What he did with Rangers should be appreciated. He played successful matches in Europe and can do the same in Beşiktaş. I think the money paid for Mourinho is astronomical. Instead of paying this much money to a coach, a useful player could have been bought for the team.

Van Bronckhorst did a nice job while coaching Rangers FC since he is still a developing coach he needs to test his coaching skills for different clubs before he can handle stronger teams so I believe he's gonna strengthen the Besiktas team since Jose Mourinho is also coaching a rival club over there which is Fenerbahce so there may be some competition in that league next season.

Saying that the money Fenerbahce spent on hiring Jose Mourinho to coach the team is much and should have been used to buy a better player is not really ideal because a good coach can also manage the available players and change the football dynamics of a team and let us not forget that Jose Mourinho is a notable and successful football manager that has coached several teams in Europe so he can possibly build up the Fenerbahce team to become more stronger.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do the newbies gain the highily professional knowledge in the forum on: June 14, 2024, 09:29:15 PM
Some people actually have crypto knowledge before joining the forum, and they just come here to expand their knowledge. Some come here to both learn and share what they already know. There are also those who are good at coding and who are also trying to share their ideas with others in the forum. It all depends on what the person has to offer.

While some just pay attention to the forum, learn everything here, and make themselves relevant in the forum, it all depends on what the person wants and how they work towards it. It's not magical; it's just self-training and discipline.

You have just said it all but let's not also forget that there are high ranking members that opens new accounts and disguise as a newbie to make high quality posts that are above the standards of a newbie however, even though one have a pre knowledge about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, it isn't too advisable to make it obvious that you are a genius or well knowledgeable about discussions in the forum because other users more especially high rank members may misinterpret you to be an alt account and moreover, a newbie is a newbie so even if you have high knowledge about discussions in the forum you should try and adjust yourself to the level of a newbie pending when you've grown in rank then you can explore your full knowledge but it doesn't mean that any one with high knowledge about discussions in the forum should not air their opinion.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet against the club you support? on: June 14, 2024, 09:00:43 PM
However this brings us back to the question, would you bet against the club you support ?

Definitely i would bet against the team I support if they are under performing but if it involves a club I am employed to work for, I can't do that because it will look as though you don't have the interest of the club at heart but even if I was to bet against such a team i will prefer to do it secretly without anyone noticing because i see no reason why I should bet in favour of a team i support or a team i work for even when there are possibilities of them losing a game against a stronger opposition so continuous betting on a team you support whether they win or not will only show that you are a true fan but it can't change the fact that you are losing money while supporting your favourite team like what joy can one derive if he loses his money on a team he supports and yet the team end up losing again isn't that gonna be a double heartbreak?
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2024, 08:25:16 PM

[Edited out]

This was very much expected to happen. Actually, this was expected to happen a long time ago. Nobody should be surprised to see this transfer. And we all know that Mbappe actually idolized Ronaldo since he was a kid. This must be like a dream come true for Mbappe. Cristiano Ronaldo also knows that and it is great to see that he does appreciate the new blood joining Madrid. At the same time, he must be thinking that things good turn out to be very different if he never left Real Madrid before his contract till 2021 was over.  but anyway that was a long time ago and he cannot do anything about that now.  Mbappe Is the future of Real Madrid.  maybe there is a chance that he will break a lot of records in Real Madrid as well.  he is also actually the real contender for being the best player in the world right now.

Actually Cristiano Ronaldo is a lover of young talented player that is why he is excited about Mbappe's move to Real Madrid and considering his contribution to the team during his time at Real Madrid, he probably sees Kylian Mbappe as his replacement hence his excitement for the France international superstar so I like the reaction of Cristiano Ronaldo However, Mbappe's move to Real Madrid have been sparking reactions from football lovers and analyst and we wish that he should commensurate his impact in the team to align with the ratings of Real Madrid fans and football lovers at large. Almost every one believes in Mbappe's ability to take Real Madrid to a certain level next season and the upcoming seasons so we look forward to seeing him do exploits for the club.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 14, 2024, 07:21:34 PM
Yes, Liverpool’s prospects are vague, but regarding getting into the Champions League there is also a positive option: if England can surpass either Italy or Germany in the UEFA rankings, then there will be 5 spots for EPL. But in any case, restructuring in Liverpool is overdue and it’s good if it takes a couple of seasons. By the way, it will be interesting if City is thrown out of the Premier League, and Liverpool is feverishly rushing to be able to compete with Arsenal... such a season would be interesting to watch.
Well we can only imagine that season to come but it's definitely going to be hard because with pep guadiola still the manager of city it's definitely going to take a very long time before we can even get to see something like that become the era of the day. As it stands now, the premier league is purely fixated in the hands of Manchester city and maybe arsenal because they are the only ones who seems to actually give city a run for the league title.

This wouldn't be a problem if one club dominated in a fair way (although no one likes multi-year domination like Juventus/Bayern anyway), but City have turned the Premier League into a farmers' league in a cheating way and that makes the situation even worse. But there is still hope that by the end of next season the League will deal with City and this will breathe new life into the title race and interest to competition, because in fact last season all the other three top leagues were more interesting.

I don't believe that there is any cheating by Manchester city in the premier league because for this four seasons that they have dominated the premier league, the other teams gave them that privilege especially Liverpool, Manchester united and Arsenal because for this four good seasons this 3 teams had the opportunity to win the league but yet they gave it up to Manchester City and the most annoying team is Arsenal that freely lost the league title on two occasions.

Manchester city have now became the only team in England to win the premier league on Four consecutive seasons, a record that will be very hard to break because merely looking at how the other teams in England are playing it will be difficult to get a team that can be as strong as Manchester city however, I believe next season will be different because even if the two traditional teams of England between Liverpool and Arsenal refuses to take challenge next season, other smaller clubs might pick up a surprise and win the league title.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2024, 03:52:01 PM
Kevin De Bruyne has always had a place of honor at Manchester City, he will not leave as long as he is still fit to play. There is a lot of speculation about De Bruyne's future as he will leave for the Saudi League but it looks like he will finish his contract in Manchester. City also don't want to be careless in making decisions, Gundogan's departure last season had a big impact on the team, especially if they lose the Belgian man again, City will lose its identity. Guardiola will let KDB go if he can find the right replacement.
If it's Kevin De Bruyne that wants to leave, then I don't think Manchester City has any option to keep him, but if it's for the fact is Guardiola that wants to sell him, and selling him when they've not gotten a good replacement , would be an ugly decision to make as we've seen number of time when Manchester City played without De Bruyne and how majority of those games thy found it difficult winning them.
De Bruyne from observation is a player I believe Pep Guardiola really like, and I'm yet to see reasons why he would be sold since he's still fit to player and not in any serious injury, and except they want to sell him for profit making.

De Bruyne is a great midfielder and has contributed a lot to Manchester city so he is still very much active even though he suffered some injuries last season that made him on and off play but however, even those periods that De Bruyne was absent due to injury, the team was doing alright but you can easily dual the difference between when Manchester city is playing without him and when he is being featured in a match so for now Manchester city should keep him maybe they can decide to sell him after Guardiola's contract expires in 2026 however, Manchester city already has the money if they want to buy more players but selling De Bruyne at this time will be meaningless
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: June 13, 2024, 03:07:28 PM
Mbappé is still young, with a long career ahead of him. So if he performs aggressively from now then he can perform better later. Mbappe can give Real Madrid a good dream because until now the Real Madrid team has been strong enough, then the Real Madrid team has become even stronger due to the addition of Mbappe to the club. And these titles from the present to the future must be won.

Kylian Mbappe hasn't even featured in a match for Real Madrid since the club signed him to say that the team has become stronger since he joined the club so after must have featured in some matches then we can compare the performance of the squad before and after he came to the team however, Real Madrid is an already made club of which with or without Kylian Mbappe the team will still do well so let as not overhype Kylian Mbappe because he is still new to the team and regardless that he is a great player, there is still possibility that he may find it difficult to understand Real Madrid's play pattern because if you watch PSG and Real Madrid the both teams plays differently so it will take Mbappe some time before he can blend with the team.

However, Mbappe is still a young talented player and has a promising career  so he is expected to do better than he did at PSG now that he is in Real Madrid.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: June 13, 2024, 01:27:20 PM
The consequences of irresponsible gambling is very high and it can make the addict look unkept like someone insane. This is why as a gambler, you should be able to have prevention measures on addiction in order to gamble happily and enjoy the fun in gambling. I agree with every points that you highlighted, but the problems lies on the people who see gambling as a means of making profit, and they will go at extra miles to make sure that they continue gambling even though they are running at big loss. Such people needs to quit gambling and go on a long break, if not they are doing more harm to themselves. If most gamblers can key into the rules of gambling and only gamble for fun, we will have less gambling related problems in the society.

It baffles me when I see matured people being too addicted to gambling to the extent of becoming so violent and angry with their family as if they are the cause of their problems when it is clearly what one uses his hand and money to get himself into. A lot of people in the society now are into gambling due to economic hardship and this has made many people to depend on gambling as a source of income because they feel the money comes easily.

It is important for gamblers to know that gambling is supposed to be played for fun and not taken for source of income. Gambling is not bad but it depends on how it is being played because I believe when some does something responsibly no body will say bad words against them but when it is done otherwise, people begin to raise concern and begins to condemn their gambling habits.
I have seen many gamblers in my community living a very poor life who depend solely on gambling to support their families. They basically chose gambling as one of the main source of income and without any alternative source of income they depend on gambling only to support the family thus the family members lead a very poor life. Society I left out but considering only the family, gambling can in no way be a suitable profession to support the family but can only be a source of enjoyment for a gambler. A society certainly expects good contribution from a citizen but society can never expect anything good from a gambler. Society can't expect anything good and a family can't expect prosperity from that gambler. So a gambler must keep in mind that he is a valuable asset of the society and the society must expect something valuable from him, so he should never waste anything valuable by engaging in gambling.

It's not like gambling is that bad but should be played with a good sense of belonging and to me if someone doesn't have a job then they should not gamble because they are going to live a poor wretched life such that any money they get from other sources they use it to gamble and lose when they have a family who depends on them for their daily needs and these set of people are the ones making gambling look bad in the eyes of people in the society, no body gambles responsibly and get criticized for playing gambling it's always those gambling addicts that depends on gambling for their livelihood that majorly face criticism by other people in the society and i wonder how people tend to make a game of chance their source of income like isn't it crazy? obviously it is.

Literally, what ever thing one is doing and you are able to take care of yourself and your family, no one will say bad words against you, it's always when it is not working out well that is when people begin to condemn what you do and gamblers do face tough criticism when they don't win that is why it should be done with wisdom.
18  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: OPay's Gambling Promotion is Enabling Gambling Addiction on: June 13, 2024, 09:23:47 AM
I am yet to comprehend the context in the OP like if a banking platform decides to do gambling promotions for any gambling site what is wrong with it? Isn't it for their customers to chose between listening to them or not. I use different banking platforms and some of them do advertise and promote other stuffs that are not related to the course of using their platform but it doesn't mean I pay attention to those adverts, anyone who want to engage in the things they advertise is at their own detriment, however they didn't make it mandatory that you must partake in those gambling promotions as well. I don't know how those gambling promotions and adverts leads to gambling addiction because an addict is an addict whether you try to persuade them or not.

Notifications from banking platforms are normal so if you don't like to receive those notifications i think there is an option in the app where you can disable the need for such notifications and continue with whatever financial engagement you want to perform with the apps.

Inasmuch as i know, Opay and other FINTECH banking platforms have been of great help and relief since their introduction because making transactions are easier and faster unlike going to the physical banks to make financial transactions that may result in delay of transactions so this thread appears more like a way of discrediting the apps which is not fair from my own perspective.

It would be very disappointing if Leverkusen followed Dortmund transfer style, where they like to release their best players to competitors direct in the Bundesliga. I think it is very disappointing for the fans, Leverkusen would be better off releasing their players to clubs outside the Bundesliga. Bayern always has a way to weaken the competition, by recruiting mainstay players from other Bundesliga contestants, so that they can easily dominate the competition to become champions again next season.

Xabi must be able to retain his players amidst interest from several elite European clubs, his plans for next season could be damaged if most of his key players leave in this summer transfer window. Playing in the Champions League demands better squad depth, and it is not an easy job to defend the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal trophies. Bayern, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Leipzig will be the closest competitors in the race for the trophy. Regardless of Kompany chances in his first season as Bayern new manager, in essence the competition next season will be even more competitive, Xabi must convince his players not to leave.

Bayern Leverkusen is just a club that came to limelight of the Bundesliga last season so it will be unwise for them to practice Borussia Dortmund's style of building and selling off their key players hence Xabi Alonso and the management of Bayern Leverkusen needs to be very careful not to discharge some of their key players if not they gonna suffer the consequences next season so they should utilize the opportunity they had last season and apply same strategy next season so that they will still continue in awesome performance.

However, if a player decides to leaves the team then they can let him go but it will be bad if any player that took part of the squad that won the bundesliga last season to think of leaving the club even if they have been attracted to other bigger clubs and this is one of the major reasons why some club suffers after they won the league competition in previous season so they should be careful not to make any mistakes.

Moreover, the champions league comprises of so many big teams that have been accustomed to the nature of the competition so Bayern Leverkusen should look up to the task ahead instead of trying to sell off any of their key players because the champions league is always very competitive since it involves teams from different leagues across Europe and it is always tensed and requires proper preparation otherwise they may just end within the group stages.

There could be alot of reasons why the wealthy win more than the poor and I don't think luck is a factor. I think it has to do with the fact that the rich usually will have a limit on how much money to bet and they will stick to that limit. If someone has a net worth of $1,000,000 and they lose $1000, they don't really care. But if you take someone who has a net worth of $2000 and they just lost $1000, most likely they will be on tilt and start to revenge gamble to win back that $1000 and we all know what happens in this situation, they end up losing even more money.

So the rich aren't as emotional and they don't get into these tilt situations where they aren't thinking and they start to bet more money than they can afford to lose and end up blowing up their bank account. This same situation applies to trading pretty much. Those which are overleveraged usually are the ones which lose money than those which are trading with a regular spot account.

That's just it, the rich doesn't care if they lose or win because it's not gonna affect them in anyway but when the poor loses it troubles their emotions because they gamble to win and not for fun so if they are unfortunate not to win they get devastated because they will begin to feel bad since they are looking for a way to come out of poverty through gambling but instead they find their selves in more severe losses. The rich also stakes with huge amount and if they win they win huge too but the poor stakes very little and when they win it also comes in little form which they can even spend again while trying to win more but when the rich wins a huge amount, they invest it in other business and they are very calculative with their gambling, they don't gamble all the time unlike the poor that are mostly seen in gambling offices every day just because they are anxious for winning which they don't even win at the end of the day.

The rich are more relaxed when they gamble because they don't take it too serious but a poor man will be very vigilant and focused about any bet they stake and if it doesn't work in their favour they become so aggressive to people around them and their family.

You are right about those that are over leverage losing more in trading than those with regular sporting accounts but regardless of the fact that gambling is almost same as trading but thee is a slight difference between the both of them in the sense that gambling is more of probability while trading depends on your ability to understand the market and use the signals correctly but it doesn't mean that one should solely depend on trading because therer are bad moments in trading when you can apply all technical knowledge but you can still run into losses.
