1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 20, 2024, 05:56:50 PM
Well i fell sleep yesterday and i really think Denver was gonna win the last seven amtch against Minnesota Timberwolves, because they were winning in the early stages of the game and i think, well they recover their memory and are gonna be again the conference finals. Nothing of that happen when i wake up today i see they lost.

I was sort of in the same boat.  At halftime it looked like Minnesota was done.  Denver was abusing them and the score showed it.  So I went out with some friends for a bit.  When I checked my phone the Timberwolves were up by 8!  I was like, holy shit!  I had to rewatch what happened when I got home.  Amazing game.  It lived up to the hype.  The two best teams in the NBA and didn't disappoint.  I'm already looking forward to seeing them match up next year.

I watch the match. It seems like Denver celebrated too early and they become over confident that Minnesota is already done. You can look on the stats of Nuggets player that only Murray and Jokic are trying stop them on 3rd quarter while the rest is just doing their shitty defense and worthless shot because they can’t get enough space to shot properly probably because they are too intimidated with Wolves defender.

The odds of Minnesota skyrocketed during the 2nd quarter when they are being dominated by Nuggets. I didn’t manage to bet because I’m busy watching but thise who bet live get a solid win.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The death of Iran president and seven others on: May 20, 2024, 05:13:25 PM
Who's updated with the news that President Ebrahim Raisi and seven other people were killed in an aircraft?

Do we describe this occurance to be an homicide or fatal aviation accident?
I'm just thinking maybe sometimes we should just look away from how media may twist informations because they're usually not sincere in revealing the reality to the public.

As described on the news channel. It’s due to the bad weather which is convincing since multiple high officials casualties involved while other chopper land safely. Normally, all chopper will be brought down to remove potential evidence for the assassination yet the survivors never mention any hostility against them aside from bad weather.

This is crucial since they a recent tension against Israel while the president still have the say for nuclear progress.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Floyd Mayweather detained in Dubai due to gambling debts? on: May 20, 2024, 04:57:34 PM
Floys isnt able to pay his bill or debt - that sounds fake. I will never believe that he isnt able to pay a debt, but I can believe in him being greedy and simply not wanting to pay what he owes Cheesy Ive seen celebrities acting like everyone owes them and they can take and get everything for free. For example going to restaurant, eating and walking away without paying. Because it was an honour for restaurant owner to feed them. I assume something similar happened with Floyd.

This is possible to happened since he is gambling overseas which means if the OP number for debt was right, He will need time to liquidate assets in able to pay that kind of debt and wired to Saudi casino account.

But yeah we all know that Floyd has a lot of cash which he always flaunts in social media. I’m doubtful too that smart guy like him with overflowing cash will gamble irresponsibly on foreign country. It’s not even possible to have that kind of credit line in an overseas casino.

4  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 20, 2024, 03:29:21 PM
Been playing at BC.Game for over 5 years. Lost THOUSANDS. Have been a VIP, I go on a little run and try to withdraw some money, and they ask for KYC verification. Their website doesnt even let me do it. Wondering if I just got scammed for 10k?? Anyone have any experience with this. Help is appreciated!

         -   As far as I've experienced playing there at BC Games, I've never had a bad experience at this casino. Although it's not like you've been playing at this casino for 5 years, right? I have been using BC games for over a year.

And during those times, BCGames is okay even up to now. I can also withdraw even if no KYC is given so far, but even if I come to require it, there is no problem for me because I know that BCGames is reputed. I just don't understand why you are like that.

Based on the OP's last update, he said the casino has not yet responded to him, and since on the third day of this month until today, the OP has not yet dropped any update to announce if his KYC has been successful or not, it's necessary for him to update us if KYC is verified or not yet.

Not as if I have used BC.game frequently, but for a few times I played there and withdrawn. I didn't pass KYC and did not also have a bad experience with them, but it's usually a different experience with every user. The BC Game Casino already stated in their policy that "they have the right to ask for KYC on any of their customers's accounts any time they want."

The problem on this user is he doesn't have a clean valid ID to easily satisfy the KYC process. I believe his account is under investigation that's why the KYC procedure is much tougher than the regular.

His problem will be solved if he has an active passport which in his case he doesn't have. I remember checking one of his post that it will take few weeks for his passport to reactivate. I think he is just waiting for his valid ID since he is still active few weeks ago after he started this thread.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: House Edge on: May 20, 2024, 03:20:03 PM
very funny, when your opponent is the casino.
Do you actually care whether the house edge is 1% or 2%?
Of course, because house edge does tells your chances, a lower house edge the higher chances of winning although your chances is still below 50%.
This games with house edge are luck based game, mark that word luck becacuse that's all we need to win.
Bankroll management in this case is kinda important as well, but that's only to minimize your loses or stay within your range, if you know what I mean.

I’m not saying you’re wrong but house edge imply your possible losses every spin. Which mean the lower the house edge gives you lesser money to loss in every bet. House edge doesn’t increase your chance of winning because it automatically decreases your winning percentage below 100% in the long run.

You can only say that it increases your chance of winning if the house edge is zero that gives positive EV to your game.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on this on: May 19, 2024, 02:54:13 PM
I was juts scrolling through Binance new and I saw an airdrop from Pepe coin worth over 1 million dollar and I clicked on it to see how I can participate in this amazing airdrop as I read through i saw that this airdrop to participate in it I needed to send them a tip and I was wondering if Binance now promotes scam or if this is ledgit, does anyone have experience with this or should i bail.
To be honest, I have never participated in an airdrop held through Binance, but one thing that we can use as a benchmark for whether it is a legit airdrop or a scam is when there is an order to send money, no matter how small, the money must be sent, even if the reason is for the network fee that's not normal, because as far as I know, a legit airdrop is just telling participants to do certain tasks instead of sending money, I mean if you want to get money for free you shouldn't have to send money first because that's already suspicious, so be careful because many fraudsters take advantage of this opportunity to gain profits in ways that are not usual to get airdrops but because airdrop hunters are not careful or are too greedy to get money so they don't try to find out first.

This is not an airdrop from Binance since there’s no way Binance will create an airdrop that requires tip from participants.

Recently, Binance already have the feed feature which any user can publish post such as this scam airdrop to lure people on participating with this scam airdrop. Binance feed is full of scam post which Binance doesn’t moderate.

Binance feed is like social media but of the post there is not reliable because scammer is using it to scam compared to the actual content creator sharing valuable post.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'HODL' The first meme coin on BNB Chain? on: May 19, 2024, 02:37:49 PM

Maybe it's the first meme coin you know of that has used the BNB chain because there are already several meme coins that use the BnB chain but are not trending in the market.and I am also a fan of Coinmeme because it can provide big profits with only a small capital.and the risk we accept is also small so it is very suitable for investing in coins with small capital.

Are you being serious here? Memecoin is the most risky asset on cryptocurrency since it has no real use case while coin owner usually can leave the project anytime he wants since he is anonymous.

Even if you are just investing small money that doesn’t mean the risk you are taking is small. You are just investing on high risk assets with small capital that’s why you can afford to lose your money.

In reality. Meme coins is just a gamble which you can’t expect that you will get back your original investment after you purchase.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never borrow money to be able to gamble on: May 19, 2024, 02:28:30 PM
If you see gambling as a business opportunity, why not? Sometimes I do borrow money when I see a game that I believe I could won, but I always limit on how much I would only borrow, and I have to make sure that I'll be able to pay it from my income just incase my bet would be wrong.

This may look like an irresponsible action, but like I mentioned, when i see it as an opportunity, I don't hesitate borrowing, and I think there's nothing wrong with that as long as you know how to pay your debt.
Now this is where we will move into addiction and chase money from gambling which is dependent on luck, our logic will think we can pay back the money we win through gambling, at one time burning ambition and we instead chase the money we have lost through gambling which ends in a very bad thing.

Using our own money in the norm needs to be limited and not to be impulsive especially using borrowed money that will jeopardize our finances, because it will lead to borrowing habits and that is not a good thing in the financial world even though you have a job and a large enough salary, it will discredit the principle of responsible gambling in us.

It’s not always borrowing will lead to addiction per se especially on the context of borrowing which the user express. He is just borrowing money which he can afford to pay which is fine as long as he is responsible for his debt.

Borrowing will go wrong if you borrow an amount that exceeds to your incoming money from salary and other income just because you think that your bet will be a sure win. You are already pertaining to actual addiction with your statement while the user example that you is just control borrowing.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How you trade in uncertain times? on: May 19, 2024, 01:19:49 PM
We all know how volatile the market is right now especially since we are still near the all-time high. With sudden price swings and unpredictable trends, traders need to be ready with some strategies.
So, what strategies can you advise especially in protecting our capital, some technical analysis strategies? OR some diversification tactics between stablecoins, bitcoin, or altcoins?

Share some of your experiences or tips on effectively trading in these uncertain times.

I usually have a FOMO in time like this which I don’t care whether the price will go down since the amount is just enough to makes me satisfy and to avoid being left out when pump comes.

I don’t do full trading on price near ATH since there’s a lot of instances in the past that heavy correction will occur if there’s no new buyer to pump the price above ATH.

Minimal DCA and range trading is the best on uncertain time like this one.
10  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gambling popularity sa social media on: May 19, 2024, 01:01:53 PM

12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fixed matches group in 3rd world countries on: May 18, 2024, 04:05:40 PM
To be honest, I've heard of many signals or fixed matches, but nothing like this. Have you ever heard of such groups before, and have you ever tried joining one?

There’s a lot of fixed matches especially on lower league of 3rd world countries since sports committee in there is not that strict on enforcing security for the teams including corruption and inside job.

This is the reason why casino often offer lower odds on minor leagues since there’s some abuse happening on some country which casino offer with their books. Your friend is lucky to find a group that has a sharer that only require voluntary profit to source while typically there’s a premium fee when you enter to this group aside from profit sharing.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we know retail is FOMO-ing into Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2024, 03:04:51 PM
Continuous green candle on daily basis with increasing trading volume is a clear sign that retail is fomo-ing since whale manipulators usually can’t keep up the buying position for a long time with increasing volume.

If you saw that Bitcoin is behaving unstoppable on pumping for consumption days then retail investors plus whales is riding together just to chase the profit for late FOMO buys.

Usually price action for daily to weekly basis is the key factor to determine what you are asking.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online casino gambling is more of profit chasers while land base is more of fun on: May 18, 2024, 03:00:50 PM
But if gamblers can limits themselves in gambling, both online and offline casino will takes their profits from the lose gamblers and their profits will becomes bigger when many gamblers lose their money. We must prevents that happens and if our friends often lose their money in gambling, we must warn them not to lose much money because that means, we gives our money to casino which makes their profit becomes bigger.

You shouldn’t gamble at the first place if you don’t want to lose money. Also you shouldn’t consider giving your money to casino when you lose because they earned it through taking a gamble with your bets too. You will get part of their bankroll if you win and withdraw so it’s part of the game besides the6 are paying their workers, providers and other expenses just to give gambling games services for us to enjoy playing.

People should understand that casino is a business and not a charity which means we should be ready to lose our money when we gamble because that’s part of the risk we are taking for a chance to have a profit.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: I would like to place a $1,000,000 bet on: May 17, 2024, 01:26:40 PM
Not sure if you are for real, this is the first time I saw a member posting about his $1M bet. So I checked your profile and this is what I see
Quote
"This user edited his bet slip, high likely troll." from Solosanz...
so I don't know if this concern is legit. Anyway, the only one that could answer that is the casino/sports here. I'm sure if they can accept that huge bet, they should be messaging you to put your bet on them, no stake as you've mentioned, there are still a lot of popular sportsbook here like sportsbet.io, duelbits, and rollbit.

He is telling the truth about his high stake betting since he is known for doing that even before. He already lose a lot by doing this kind of risky bet multiple times and I remember that he once sponsored by his friend to gamble that resulted to a disaster losses.

You can all his previous bet history on his profile including this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5473696.msg63139593#msg63139593.

I believe the tag is related to editing the cash out amount on his bet slip but his original bet value is real.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Share the best Bitcoin Pizza Day promotion of casino on: May 17, 2024, 12:56:42 PM
5 days to go before Bitcoin Pizza Day celebrations in crypto. Casino usually launch a special promotion dedicated for this event. I decided to create this thread as discussion and place to share information about the casino you are playing that has a special promotion for this event.

This will help every gambler to be aware on what’s the current promotion of the casino regarding this event.

17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concerns grow over online gambling among teens on: May 17, 2024, 12:52:52 PM
what I do believe is that why do gambling site really cares about who will gamble when they are targeting as many depositors and players they may get?that 18 and up rules is just written but they don't wanted to strictly implement that and will let those youngster lied in their details because they will only face the problem once you won and need to withdraw lol.

This not true, KYC is required to verify if the players is underage or not. The problem in online casino is it’s very easy to bypass this age restriction by availing other KYC which is often being offered as service in crypto.

But in general, Casino is very strict when it comes to age restriction once you are caught, it’s just easy to bypass this restriction online that’s why it feels like casino doesn’t care at all.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: I would like to place a $1,000,000 bet on: May 17, 2024, 03:19:55 AM

I don't know if I can trust them to pay me the winnings. Because on Trustpilot they have 76% 1 star reviews...A lot of people claiming that funds are confiscated when they try to withdraw...

Everyone knew that trustpilot ratings is not accurate. Sportsbet.io is very active in the forum with the representative working closely with the community. You have a high chance of having a safe high bets here rather than on casino that doesn’t have actively representative in the forum.

You can choose Duelbits too as an alternative because they are one of the casino that invest tons of money for their signature campaign here that shows how committed they are on boosting their reputation here.

19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: May 16, 2024, 04:07:10 PM
Duelbits competing in a big market and wants to lead. I love that they get Conor as their partner as this fighter is very popular and could easily introduce the platform to its fans or followers. I'm also surprise that he'll have a comeback fight, I thought his career was already over after the last fight where he was severely injured, but due to a good technology nowadays, a fighter could have his healing time shorten and still able to get back in the ring.

Actually, not only in UFC but also in movies, he is making a name already, after his great peformance with the Road house movie, and now the Popeye The Sailor Man, his popularity is just soaring.

It’s very hard to forget Conor even with his sour recent career since he is the first fighter in the UFC history to get 2 title simultaneously which many UFC fighter tried to achieve for a long time but failed. He is the one to open this possibility through his very good skill set during his prime.

Conor is now focusing on entertainment side like acting that you mention and probably this is the reason why he accepted the partnership for Duelbits for his comeback match.

I’m sure tons of giveaways and promotions will be available during and before that match.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying Vs Renting a Home- Which is the right move? on: May 16, 2024, 03:55:36 PM
This topic has come up quite a few times over the years on this board.  A lot of the discussion around it has mostly been others opinions.  I found this neat little graph online (instagram) from the New York Times that compares the two.  Now keep in mind one's location will certainly have an effect on which one might make more sense, even in what part of you own country you're in.

The main answer here depends on the tax on the location compared to the rent cost. I'm not familiar with the taxation of your country but there’s some state in the US especially the popular city has a high tax rate for owning a house that’s why many preferred to just rent a house since you will save from tax and at the same time low maintenance cost since you can just change an apartment anytime you want.

In my country, owning a house is much cheaper than renting since we don’t have high tax on real estate properties. You can already purchase a house if you will save all your rent.
