101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: February 23, 2021, 09:26:56 AM
Bitcoin as a Decentralized Cryptocurrency has no physical structure just like the bank. It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?

A lot of people already answer what would happen to that bitcoin, lost or dead bitcoin could actually be a good thing because that just means it is being held or will not be sold to anyone. The more people hold bitcoin the more the market price of bitcoin will increase. For now, I don't have a backup plan or something that would make my family inherent my bitcoin when I die maybe because I don't think about it so much and I don't really hold that much of a bitcoin in the first place but I've told my family about bitcoin and slowly teaching them what is bitcoin. So that they would know what to do in the future when im gone.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: February 23, 2021, 08:03:20 AM
Polka dot is an open-source project that works with shared protocol that enables Blockchain Networks to work with Synergy. The token serves three distinct purposes; Governance, Staking and Bonding. This is designed to co-exist with Leading smart contract Blockchains rather than competing with them. This is very appealing factor for some Investors. It won't be easy for the Polka dot to challenge Ethereum as many working projects are already using Ethereum Network even though Technically it is superior project but  It is already Home of 197 projects those are working on its networks  and many more willing to join it.

This is also evident from price movement that we have witnessed during the past month when its price moved from $2 to almost $6 that reflects great interest of Investors in this token. There are some predictions that within a year time , Dot will be Top 3 on Market cap.

Ethereum is still the best choice for blockchain developers I think I heard it from a YouTubers interview and polkadot would not gonna surpass that Ethereum would still continue to increase its market price but developers are also looking into or considering polkadot as an alternative. when it comes to the network investors could easily be attracted to the polkadot project because of its potential and high market cap in the market. I would say polkadot have a much solid foundation compared to other altcoins in the market
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP vs SEC latest news on: February 22, 2021, 08:09:35 PM
Hi all, hope all is well!

Let's start discussing the latest news with the updates if possible... I live in Turkey and there is no update that I can reach for now.. After the peak about 10 hours ago, XRP is going down. Should I keep and buy more at a lower price or should I let it go?

ps:

- Unfortunately, I have fired because of that covid **** 5 weeks ago and I m trying to survive with my compensation until I got a new job.
- I am not talking about thousands of $ for buying.

Please let me know your thoughts about the expectations in the future like 2-3 weeks in both scenarios positive/negative for Ripple.

Cheers!

XRP is a very good investment token in crypto and in the top 10 marketcaps but this SEC cases is making it so difficult to make a profit in XRP these days. For its a good investment but it might not be that worth it investing in XRP because for me it was just taking so long almost before making a pump in the market when you compared to other potential tokens like cardano that already surpass XRP marketcap the profit is much higher or quicker and less risk compared to XRP so i think beginners should stay out in XRP for now.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your worst loss in 2021 bull run on: February 22, 2021, 06:55:56 PM
Begining. I have profit of 1100$ then invested in bnb got huge profit , then invest on ico. then Huge loss. Total loss is 2500$ ....

Now covered... Thanks

Most of my investment is a huge profit like Ripple buy at .3cents sell at .6 cent, buy Cardano and still holding it the price was already 1$, Invested in polkadots buy when it's around 16$ now its almost 40$. I think my worst loss was I sell a big percentage of my bitcoin when the price of bitcoin spike to 30k$, I thought that was it because it came from the last ATH 20k$ I just don't imagine bitcoin doing a big jump from 20k$ to 40k$ at that time because it just never happened from the past growth, I thought its gonna be a slow movement but now its already almost 60k$.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ongoing Price Correction on: February 22, 2021, 06:13:54 PM
The price of bitcoin and ethereum has been falling drastically. Will the price of Bitcoin go low to $50000 and there is more chance of ethereum falling low to $1500.

At the time of writing, the price was above $50k and now it has fallen low to $49000 and has recovered reaching above $50000 within minutes.

The ethereum price has come closer to $1500, and soon we can expect the price go low to $1500.

Is the market has turned bearish, or it is just the regular price correction.

I think it's possible but the bottom price was probably 45k$ and maybe even lower but it happened every time its a correction and after that easily we could expect the market price to pump again for sure. I think a lot of investors are on a panic sell because of the very fast price drop in the market. The demand was still solid so don't sell your holding in a bad position always make sure you make a profit. Ethereum was also close to 1500$ in the market so I think its a going to be deep probably the best time to buy or invest.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin hit 1M on Twitter on: February 21, 2021, 10:34:29 PM
Wow!! What a a thing i saw in twitter explorer that #Bitcoin crossed 1.01M tweets on twitter. And it is still trending number 1 in our country. What about your? Well, this is a huge news. Lots of people, who do not know about Bitcoin when they are going to search option on twitter and see a hashtag is trending by the name of Bitcoin. Also for those people who says bitcoin is shit, it is scam and its a criminal staff. For those it is a slapping news. Let's cheer for bitcoin with twiterrrrrr. Love you bitcoin.

Your Opinion on this achievement?

It's a good thing to see bitcoin always trending on so many platforms because it would help for the market price to pump and a lot of people would know what is bitcoin. A lot of people are interested these days in investing in cryptocurrency because of so many trending poses about bitcoin or something like becoming a millionaire when it comes to bitcoin. I notice that a lot of people are  already tried investing in cryptocurrency and today is different because a lot of people could easily invest using just their phone application in some exchanges like crypto.com or binance.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: February 20, 2021, 08:07:33 PM
What do people think? Is it better to invest, say, 100 dollars in ether or bitcoin?

Both Ethereum and bitcoin is a great investment but I think for a 100 dollars investment I think it's better to put it in Ethereum because it is still in a low price and could equal to a higher profit than investing in bitcoin since it's already in a high market ceiling when you buy a 100$ of bitcoin it will be 0.0018 Bitcoin but in Ethereum it will be 0.050 in value. But both of the tokens are a great investment and either way whatever you pick you still for sure going to make a profit and both will take a long time before getting a good profit.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: February 20, 2021, 07:26:17 PM
as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?

Binance coin is a good investment but for me, it's not going to surpass Ethereum or even bitcoin. As an exchange coin, I think the coin will just depend on the exchange Binance. After the ETH 2.0 im expecting the ETH to skyrocket its market price in the market so I think Binance will have no chance to catch up will that. Binance exchange is doing a good job and climbing to be in the top exchanges and they just burn a lot of the token supply bumping the market price of Binance up. Ethereum will for sure catch up in the price of bitcoin soon.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if the major holders of bitcoin all decided to sell it all? on: February 19, 2021, 06:58:53 PM
https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2018/09/diar-research-less-than-1-of-crypto-wallets-hold-87-of-all-bitcoins/

It's kind of concerning that so few people hold so much bitcoin.

Are these holders even active or what? I'm guessing they bought at the beginning and are all just holding.

I think the risk is they could manipulate the market if they are holding a big chunk of bitcoin. I don't think they are going to buy bitcoin just to easily dump it in the market these companies are planning to hold this bitcoin for a long term investment in their company and even planning to accept bitcoin in their own bitcoin meaning they are planning to buy more bitcoin and put it in the company. Holding a big chunk of bitcoin would make the market price of bitcoin rise and skyrocket even up to a million-dollar making it a big profit in the companies. And then sell it when the price is so high.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If most of Bitcoin is owned by few it cannot be a store of wealth for all on: February 19, 2021, 06:12:25 PM
I don't know the exact percentage, but most of BTC is owned by a few.
So logically, BTC can never become a store of wealth for the masses.
BUT if BTC cannot serve as storage of wealth for all and neither as day to day currency due to very slow and increasingly expensive transfers, what role will BTC play in the future?
I honestly think that it will become a billionaire's toy in the future and coins like XLM which offer incredibly fast and inexpensive transfers, will play the major role in the financial day to day transactions.
So I believe that the people who have just started to invest in crypto should consider these other coins and forget about bitcoin.
If the world will accept crypto as currency, it won't be BTC.

A lot of people in the cryptocurrency community even me I considered a lot of altcoins in the market that could possibly become an alternative for bitcoin. I think there is a profit that can be made when it comes to the altcoin market even though there are some that just copy the purpose of bitcoin still there are some altcoins that have a different purpose and have potential when it comes to long term investment. If the world will accept cryptocurrency I really think it will be bitcoin as the number 1 cryptocurrency. Even though bitcoin already has a high market price I still think that it will continue to skyrocket.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cvc,Cardano or Polkadot? on: February 17, 2021, 08:47:22 PM
Question about  investing in Cvc, Cardano or polkadot.

I have a goal in 2 years to get a plot of land..  im saving 200 a week in a saving account..   im looking to place 1000 initially into one of the above cryptocurrency with an additional 50 dollars invested a week in it.

I won't be day trading.. just a somewhat safe investment that will increase with time.

Any suggestions?
I'm also open to other ideas.

What I like about these is that they haven't had a rapid growth recently that always makes me think of a bubble.   And the value is stable with an upward trend on them.

The best investment that you could make is bitcoin and eth in long-term investment, but I could also recommend Cardano and polkadot as a well project that has high potential in long term. Cardano and Polkadot have a high market cap in the market also have a solid foundation in the market. Probably Cardano could climb up to 10 price points in the market and polkadot will be over 100$ after 1 year. You could invest a big percentage of your saving in bitcoin just to be safe and then invest the rest in altcoins. For sure there are will be corrections in altcoin soon when the market circulates so be careful investing in altcoins.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash is inevitable on: February 17, 2021, 08:29:51 PM
Just like the subject says, the more Bitcoin goes up this bull run, the most correction it will have, people who thinks this will go up without stopping are very naive.
This is not the time to buy, don't be a fool to buy at 50K.

In my opinion, bitcoin is the safest coin to invest in because it's the number cryptocurrency in the market and for long-term investment, you could guarantee to make a good profit. It's not really that bad to buy bitcoin at any price point in the market as long as your going to hold your bitcoin in the long term. But compared to if you only buy in the deeps or dumps of bitcoin there will be much more room to make a profit. At this point, we can't really buy bitcoin at a low market price anymore so the only option was to buy in the deeps or correction.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you say you made money if you never actally sell your coins? on: February 17, 2021, 08:00:34 PM
Should you hodl forever?  Does everyone have a price?  What is yours?   Huh

It will not make any sense if your gonna hold your tokens forever I think the right thing to do is to not stop investing in bitcoin. We will always end up selling our bitcoin because we need that profit and it's the main reason in the first place why we started to invest in bitcoin because we need that profit. It just feels like you lose some money if the price continues to pump after you sell your bitcoin so i think the thing is you should never stop investing and always invest in every possible deep that you could invest to so that income or your profit will not stop.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: February 17, 2021, 06:15:17 PM
I've tried to login into ROOBET.COM using the Singapore and USA server, it looks like it doesn't work as well it says "Sorry, Robert isn't available in your region Due to our gaming license, we cannot accept players from your jurisdiction". I didn't know what is the problem or maybe it is in the VPN that is using the United Kingdom seems to work but I have some issues when it comes to loading the website but it doesn't say that it is not available but it doesn't load in the loading page of roobet, my internet connection seems to be fine.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 17, 2021, 05:10:44 PM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

It's a little bit of a problem on the user side number one is bitcoin has a high transaction fee. When I deposit my funds on the gambling website it would take sometimes more than 10$ of transaction fee because I'm using bitcoin it wants just a small value of bitcoin but since the price increase, something like .0006 would cost you up to 20$ or more today. Some of the gambling websites do not support other cryptocurrencies mostly bitcoin and ETH only that is both have high fees. The same thing when you're going to withdraw your money from the websites luckily withdrawing from the gambling website that I play does not cost that much in depositing. In terms of using bitcoin to play, it doesn't affect that much since you could win a big value and it's a good investment if it is bitcoin.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What games are best suitable for PvP gambling? on: February 17, 2021, 10:49:54 AM
I believe that cryptocurrencies can revolutionize PvP gambling and turn it into a big industry. In PvP gambling players play against other players and also bet against them. The most widespread and successful PvP gambling game is poker, but what other games do you know that work well in gambling? Before the Internet some people gathered in parks and played chess for money, but nowdays it's hard to play chess competitively on the internet due to the power of chess AI. Also, there are altcoin projects that allow people to challenge each other and bet on popular online games like CS:GO or Dota, but so far they didn't accomplish any major success.
So, what do you think the perfect PvP game for gambling should be?

When it comes to Player vs Player gambling the most common games were card games like Poker or like blackjack or maybe even coinflip and Rock paper scissors. But every game was mostly because of luck maybe on poker but sometimes if your lucky your going to win most of the time if you have good cards. I mean even in online casinos or physical casinos most of the game would be based on your luck because if the game can be a win because of the skills your always going to win if your good at it already and casinos would not allow it that because that would make them bankrupt.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Three Indians arrested over illegal betting in ZACS on: February 17, 2021, 08:24:08 AM
There are so many people that just make a lot of ways to gamble and it was just like small illegal gambling groups in differents games of whatsoever. There are some countries where not all kinds of gambling are prohibited and maybe they could still gamble at some point legally. I just wonder if it is just if they just do this crime all for money. I think it might be a big group of gamblers since they have the guts to do this in a country where gambling is illegal or somehow they might have a bit of protection.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thailand government seeks measures to tackle the problems of illegal gambling. on: February 17, 2021, 06:17:20 AM
If they having a problem in quarantine to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading the virus in Thailand they should definitely close every possible business that is not necessary just to contain or quarantine the virus. But they should manage to close all of the illegal gambling first before closing the legal gambling businesses. Legal gambling casinos might comply to open but it seems good since the government is thinking to close this casino because of the pandemic in other countries mostly governments would just care about the money.
119  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC All Time High $50,000 reached today, Tuesday 16 Feb 2021 on: February 16, 2021, 08:22:22 PM
I didn't doubt that the bitcoin will really make a new all time high, as I mention before there are so many people who are getting hype of this bitcoin and many people are still buying it although they know that the price of this is very high and it is because of the hype that was bring by different famous people who accepted bitcoin. Great run guys! Again if it breaks the $50,000 then probably there is a chance that it may go over $60,000, let's see when it will be.

Honestly, it was not really surprising and everyone is kinda expecting bitcoin to break the 50k$ mark in the market. A lot of big companies are interested in bitcoin and investing in it just like Tesla, Uber, etc. There are as well a lot of famous people and whales that are supporting bitcoin giving it a high demand in the market. Easily we could reach 100k$ in the market this 2021 and probably next month we could expect 60k$ already just because of so many good articles and news about bitcoin from last week.

Yes 50k is good signal but it will take much tome to reach 60 k . If you follow BitBoyCrypto on YouTube, he has an interesting theory on this drop and why BTC didn’t hit $60K and Ethereum didn’t hit $3K like expected. He believes that it’s being manipulated. Go watch his videos if you get a chance.

There are obviously a lot of manipulations in the market and it happened a lot in the bull market. They just need to keep the market price low in order to make a profit because bitcoin could easily skyrocket if people just continue to invest and invest in the bitcoin.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC HIT $50000🎯 on: February 16, 2021, 07:57:05 PM
Wow, another achievement unlocked which indicates that BTC hits another ATH today. $50000 is a huge now and it is already visible and breaks all the previous history. The great day is my cryptocurrency life which will be remembered and the thread will work as a reminder.

Are we going to see another ATH soon or the day will be remembered?

I think the next ATH is around 55k$ and then will have a huge dump after that and then the market price will skyrocket up to 60k$ or even more. It was just really crazy how bitcoin has grown in the past months when we are looking in the past ATH when the market price was only 20k$ it just take a long time before breaking that ATH and before breaking that ATH we experience a big deep in the market all the way down to 3k$ which I think could happen as well to break the new ATH. I think we are going to experience a big deep and then break the resistance and then reach a new ATH in the market.
