101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Invech Token IEO - Licensed Crypto Exchange & Blockchain Smart City on: April 24, 2019, 10:58:39 PM
The roadmap states "Volocopter launch" for August 2019, what is it and how will it be implemented?
Now it is very difficult to adhere to the road map, sometimes the timing is slightly shifted, but it must be reported in the news.

Why does this IEO would find it hard to  adhere to the roadmap? Is it because of funding? I mean anything can happen of course but most of the time the projects always make sure they adhere to such roadmaps since those roadmaps are the developments the people need to see.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PCORE LTD - Innovative Invoice Discounting Platform - PCC Token :) on: April 24, 2019, 03:28:34 PM
Hi. I would like to suggest you guys get your website an HTTPS since I saw it is not secured at all. It would really help against DDoS attacks that may occur during your token offering.

And I suggest you guys conduct an AMA for everyone who would like to know what your project is all about. It will really help propagate some influence for you.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: April 24, 2019, 08:37:05 AM
I think these IEOs are better than ICOs. They don't promise much but owning something from the exchange so it can start up its business of facilitating buying and selling of tokens between traders by giving them the advantage of discounted trades and withdrawal fees. Moreover, this doesn't make them foolproof as an exchange can be hacked like any others out there unless the IEO offers that kind of security to the investors.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Just a friendly reminder.... on: April 23, 2019, 10:41:26 PM
SAAAAD. And there's nothing we can do about it but play along. Our savings are sure to decrease no matter what. We can try to invest them but there's no escaping the effect of that inflation.

I'm not American but I'm just curious, do other countries have the same relationship as the US with the Feds? It seems to me most countries have cental banks that are government agencies.

They really just have no other options but to trust banks you know. The effect of inflation doesn't just affect the interest on loans but also those necessary commodity.

I think not manu people in the world know about that so we shouldn't expect too much since money is what makes everything in this world work.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is no hard fork, will the real value of Bitcoin be higher now or lower on: April 23, 2019, 10:19:46 PM
I think its about the demand of Bitcoin. If nobody wants to buy it, people will eventually lower the price to meet the buyer's want price. Plus the price of bitcoin eventually goes up even after the fork. So basic law of supply and demand should be observed.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right desicion not to join on: April 22, 2019, 11:56:02 PM
I made the right decision not to join Yobit campaign every one is jumping to join the bandwagon but I cannot betray my friend who was scammed by Yobit, I can lose a friend if he saw promoting Yobit, who scam big money and for a few dollar, now Yobit promoters are now banned here, what do you think , are you also tempted to join Yobit when everybody are joining ?

They're banned here? What do you mean? I saw a lot of yobit signature campaign participants. Is it because of spamming?

I suggest that everyone willing to join the campaign should know what they are going into. If you are not that familiar, do a little research about it. A lot of people have been scammed, and you still want to promote them? I don't think it's a good idea.

For everyone who is asking, I have read this thread recently about the Yobit campaign. Use the search function.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5133795.0
So its about how it scammed people. I will read the thread you have linked.

Edit: Now that I have read that, I think its a greay thing people are being stopped from joining. It will be just another spam not to be tolerated in here anyway.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] 2GETHER - THE FIRST EUROPEAN CRYPTO CARD (DELIVERING NOW) on: April 22, 2019, 02:48:27 PM
A blockchain banking platform? Its a great idea for a project. But how can you guys assure your investors the platform is safe?

Because we all know traditional banking is not foolproof as well. Let us see how you guys progress with your idea.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: A short market analysis of Lending Market by our team on: April 21, 2019, 11:56:38 PM
The very thing about P2P lending in this industry is that you can result in either a big time loss or a big time gain. We all know how volatile this market is. Fixing the interest is a thing but the principal amount won't change. What I mean by that is if you lend 0.01btc @ 5200USD you'll still ger 0.01 btc @ 4800 if he pays at that time.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🚀 Slothee - Decentralized Business Networking | Whisper Protocol 🚀 on: April 20, 2019, 11:55:19 PM
I would like to ask why are you using the ICO approach when new projects are using ITO? And why did you choose Ethereum as platform for the project?
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: April 20, 2019, 02:30:17 PM
Well this is really good news to all of us. Even it is not happening it's still a good news. Cryptobanking will be a good idea for the future. I hope when that time comes almost all of the people will know about bitcoin and they can adapt on it so there will be no more problem when using it.

It is indeed a good idea but how can we be really sure that it is safer than traditional banking when cryptocurrency exchanges in the market are getting hacked? When security is one of the concerns, even traditional banking isn't fool proof, especially the consumers.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 19, 2019, 11:28:26 PM
Binance Chain is an asset exchange platform similar to Waves and Bitshares. I don't think it will ever become a threat to Ethereum.

I think this is the case too. But we should never stop thinking they could challenge Ethereum. What can BNB Chain do that Ethereum can't? Better transaction speed? Anonymity? Do they have smart contracts like Ethereum has? All I can think is that Binance Chain just want its own blockchain to monitor its own coin. CZ is probably thinking of stopping relying on others and make use of his own. NEM and NEO, both Chinese coins has their own chain explorers as well. So it is not that much of a surprise if you ask me.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 19, 2019, 11:16:58 PM
What is fun stuff to do with Bitcoin? I think one of the few is the casinos. It sure is gambling because you never know when you will be poor or rich.

Another thing that comes to mind is faucets. I think making real money out of ads is another option of making money. You give out pennies, they give you dollars. We all know many people do this.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 19, 2019, 02:52:27 AM
Your first point about the poor countries and their dictators; no they're not doing that. Most importantly if they really do care about the technology's adoption, they would've been a better country than being poor.

Your second point about the SEC and ETF acceptance of proposals, I don't think so as well. Everything is needed to be in compliance with existing laws and regulations. Testings and such of the products shall be conducted as well. Plus Anti Money Laundering Laws should be properly observed too.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Man who created own credit card sues bank for not sticking to terms on: April 17, 2019, 11:53:28 PM

I love seeing someone beat the system. If the underdog can play the game and win, I'm all for it.

I'm just so surprised there's banks that still do business in this archaic manner with paper documents and wet signatures. I have a bunch of credit cards. I've never had the opportunity to amend a credit card agreement. You apply, they send you a card with a boilerplate agreement, and if you don't agree to the terms you need to cancel the card. That's how any sensible bank should nip this problem in the bud.

I think that is  not to be considered as a 'beating the system' when he secretly changed the terms to his own convenience. The laws called it 'fraud' for a reason and the contracts of such should be invalid.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ [ANN][ICO] ✅✅ TOR-X Network-Ecosystem for decentralized cross-chain exchange on: April 17, 2019, 10:25:54 PM

Going in for the traditional route of doing ICO is not the best way forward in today's market condition, There are ZERO trust now in any ICO project and others are still struggling to raised some funding using old methods,. IEO opens doors for all those legit project that has a legit purpose and real use case as a blockchain technology

The fact that they are actually using an anonymous network and an ICO altogether can make it really worse. The zero trust on ICOs is because of scams and anonymous projects who just collected money and run.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current Market state on: April 17, 2019, 02:28:26 PM
Cryptocurrency market needs more money now ,I hope in the near future many investors will join crypto space and many new good projects will be released so that crypto can have large investment fund and by doing so it will take crypto to higher level
Well, according to Bitcoin's schedule, there are few who want to sell crypto assets at such low prices. But there are more buyers. I expect Bitcoin to rise above $ 6,000.

That is quite possible but it went back to less than 4k yesterday right? Nobody can really say.

I think I like the current state of market, it is relatively stable. Prices also were stable from February this year but steadily increased till it had a blow out sometime in the early days of this month. People are expecting a bull since it got to this stage but it is yet to respond to that.

I agree with you. Compared to what happened the year after the blooming economy of blockchain, I can quite say this is a good market since there are a lot of buyers who really want to go in for the technology not just for the money.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Think and search before you give everything! on: April 17, 2019, 02:20:44 AM
If they are hungry for those pennies for the exchange of their identities, there are too things that's on my mind.

  • they don't own the identity
  • they are desperate

It's not worth it to exchange your any ID just for those airdrops or free cryptocurrencies that they offer. I always avoid those kind of posts and ignore people them on social medias.

I agree with you. If it costs like a thousand dollars that should be where KYC is needed. And the project should be really legitimate.

Giving out your identity might mean more harm to you than benefit.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HyperETH - Decentralized Blockchain Gaming Ecosystem on: April 17, 2019, 12:29:02 AM
Just a question. How are you promoting your DApp? What are your current goals? Any roadmaps to look forward to? Was it like just the ethercats? Findtherabbit? I will gladly appreciate if its answered.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Widening Russia Money Laundering Scandal Hits European Banks on: April 15, 2019, 11:43:05 PM
Bitcoin isn't immune from money laundering. In fact NK has done so much money laundering through it (read it somewhere). We all know money laundering is treated as a crime. Either be thru bitcoin or traditional banks, money laundering is money laundering. Considering it can fund a big nuclear bomb that can destroy the earth, and other kind of fatalities or disasters, money laundering is a crime.

We might as well look into country's politicians since many are hiding money laundered in offshore accounts.
120  Local / Pilipinas / Re: bitcoin - nanatili sa $5k level on: April 15, 2019, 04:19:15 PM
I will continue adding more funds because I really do have a huge hope that next month the price pump will continue

Just look at the previous bitcoin stats in the span of month. As you can see the price were very stable until april 02. Hopefully in the first week for the month of may the price will goes up and become stable again

I read somewhere in the forum that it is actually mimicking 2017s pattern. The only thing we can do now is think about how we should act accordingly since anything can happen. Will we be seeing much better prices or are we yet to see another dip?
