105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: November 10, 2014, 11:48:10 AM
Looks like msc is running out money. Itz a problem of companies.

Movements like bitcoin or counterparty can't go bankrupt.

Well said.

It's funny because initially MSC was claiming their advantage over XCP by having so much BTC they could fund faster development, and now they are just out of money... ( didn't they "scammed" Maidsafe with they MSC / MAID swap?)
106  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 4 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX on: November 10, 2014, 11:27:34 AM
So I have asked Havelock to go to Cryptx and ask to update us on the reinvestment funds...

That was the answer: "At the moment there are no SCRYPT equipment on the market effecient enough to purchase .  They continue to look at all options."

What do you guys think?

I think it's time to get out of this mess, and I'm thinking about warning the belgian equivalent of the SEC about cryptx activities. Not sure they're gonna like it.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: How long do cashouts from btc casinos usually take? on: November 09, 2014, 02:41:06 PM
Seal with Clubs (poker) take more time, because they process the payments manually. It's always within 24h tough, and it's way faster than fiat based online poker.

110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: November 08, 2014, 05:56:47 PM
Looks like the Counterparty workforce is expanding by 50%.

It's impressive to see that Counterparty has done everyting right from the beginning. For a long term perspective, it's the most comforting investment one could make in the crypto space.

If anyone wants to discuss and share details, please PM me.  Multiple posters in this thread can't be trusted and are only confusing the issue and spreading FUD.  If you're serious about getting to the bottom of this, then let's do it instead of walking in circles.  I have been busy lately, but recently got in touch with a couple groups that are interested in resolving this as well.  We will need to talk to some of the bigger losers in this scam as well.

I have been contacted by probably the largest investor. He wishes to remain anonymous, but is willing to offer a good reward for information leading to a favourable result.

I would PM you, but I have no details to share that I didn't already post publicly. Please feel free to PM me with anything you don't want to share here.

Likewise, I'll offer half of what I get back as reward (lost ~6 BTC).

Will provide details in a PM to Dotcommie.

Same here, lost between 5+ BTC, will give 30% as reward. Will PM you

funny game, but the rules are not clear enough when visiting for the first time !

Maybe you should add a 'play money' option to try the game
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is running a bitcoin gambling site illegal in the us (tx) on: November 08, 2014, 03:48:04 PM
Primedice is not in the US.

It's not clear whether it's legal to run bitcoin only business in US, but a lot of sites are blocking US ip addresses to avoid trouble.

That's the wise thing to do if you want to avoid trouble. US regulators can be quite aggressive to enforce their lobby induced laws

118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Martingale Strategy on: November 06, 2014, 11:16:01 AM
Indeed, in gambling it's just about the EV. Dice games (and casinos like the one I'm referring, etc.) all have negative EV.

If you want to gamble, try poker, find a table with a reckless guy who goes all in all the time, and call him when you have a high pocket pair. You'll play at +EV, you can check the probability down here. You'll have to be patient because those sucker usually don't last  Grin

Hi SWC,

Little question about the table starter rackeback.

How often is the rakeback distributed ? I remember starting tables yesterday and the day before but I don't see anything in my history.

Does it have to be a freshly created table, or just any 6+ table with 2/3 players only ?
