101  Other / Meta / Re: Account stolen on: January 02, 2018, 11:25:50 PM
my noitev account has been stolen... again... will provide proof to mods via pm

That sucks Bro. I see it's an account from 2011 and a Hero account unlike most of these other people with stolen accts. This one is well worth fighting for.

Good luck hope you get it back.
102  Other / Meta / Re: Does this guy deserve a ban? on: January 02, 2018, 11:19:19 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2668303.0

He opens a post saying that he has bought a house paying with bitcoin, and everybody starts congratulating him. Then, a sensible member, (stompix) starts questioning him and saying that he doesn’t believe the story, but OP keeps insisting and saying that it is true and that it will appear on the local newspaper on Monday (yesterday).

Today, we start talking about the falsehood of his story (while some people still congratulates him) and he finally appears to mock everybody:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2668303.msg27365285#msg27365285

I’ve reported him, but I wanted to comment here because I don’t know if according to the rules he will just get the post deleted or what. In my opinion, he should be, at least temporary, banned.

So you took part in a 6 page 117 Reply spam fest topic and now you want the guy banned because you think he is lying?  Huh
103  Other / Meta / Re: TheButterZone trust abuse and hostile auction conditions on: December 29, 2017, 08:10:45 PM
He is Abusing his trust rating no doubt But then again the guy always seemed like a lunatic. He red Flagged me one time too i forgot the reason why though it wasn't a "Trust" issue though that's for sure.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1,000 People Own 40 Percent of Bitcoin Market on: December 23, 2017, 11:40:36 PM
Mining pool owners,Exchange owners and Developers are currently Manipulating the BTC Price.  BTC has become corrupt and is failing....The unconfirmed transactions prove this and the high fees associated with sending proves this.

For years BTC has sold the idea that it was the ultimate Currency and i bought into this shit with many thousands of others.
In reality greed has take over and it shows now. The average user is fucked.

Believe it or not this is the state of BTC today.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: unconfirmed transactions between 20k to 30k for more than a week on: December 23, 2017, 11:18:31 PM
I seriously think bitcoin core should do something, like increasing the blocksize as a quick and proven solution. 2018 is going to be a lot worst. Don't they know the scale of the problem?

The Developers along with the Mining pool owners and Exchange owners are making Bank on this shit while the average users are paying the price. Greed corrupts everything.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: unconfirmed transactions between 20k to 30k for more than a week on: December 23, 2017, 11:10:52 PM
The number of unconfirmed transaction is really high in recent weeks

https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

tx fees is floating between 0.006 to 0.009

thats like > $100 usd per transaction. My transaction with 0.001 btc fee is stuck in unconfirmed state forever. is bitcoin still usable as a currency??

As the spam attack on the network has stopped, the mempool has been clearing a lot of tx in the last 24h.
Yesterday it was around 288k unconfirmed tx. Today I woke up to 235k unconfirmed tx, at this rate, the mempool should be clear in the next 4-5 days. Hopefully, we won't see any more shitposts from people complaining about this issue, I mean, everyone knows there's an issue and fees are high, but there's no need to make 50 threads every single day about the same thing.

People are pissed off yet you say they shouldn't bitch and complain and create new threads.

They have a RIGHT to complain. Bitcoin has been solicited as the ultimate Currency for years and now it's failing the very same users that have and will support it yet you say stop bitching.

Are you a fucking clown? Let them Bitch they have Earned that right STFU!
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asia shouldn't have access to the bitcoins! on: December 22, 2017, 08:49:18 PM

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: December 21, 2017, 11:10:09 PM
Ridiculous fees,Bottlenecked transactions,Unstable prices......BTC has cut it's own throat and is Hemorrhaging. if the Devs don't get control soon BTC will die and BCC wll take it's place. FACT
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin dumps down 25% from 20k to 15k whatsup on: December 21, 2017, 09:51:30 PM
I have been watching bittrex all day and in the last few hours the volume of BTC has increased significantly due to panic selling. BTC actually hit $14,400 today so at $15,490 right now its actually recovering a little bit.

Panic selling can create a nightmare for the price. Everyone sees the price dropping and wants to unload to avoid loss.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just found my old Wallet.dat take a look on: December 21, 2017, 09:33:40 PM
These things belong in off topic.

You're making the bitcoin discussion board quality worse.

This is Bitcoin discussion and this topic is about the ecosystem and community. 137k bitcoins in one address is definitely about the ecosystem and Community.

112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Below 10K before xmas? on: December 21, 2017, 07:22:04 PM
It's dropped $3k today alone so it might just get below $10k Today or tomorrow.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The whales are cashing out on: December 21, 2017, 03:13:46 PM
Watching Bitrex and the market. BTC went from $15,800-$15,200 in a matter of a few minutes. The selling in unreal. looks like the whales are definitely cashing out.

Broke $14k  Undecided
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Dropping...Dropping Gone. Welcome to the new BTC norm. on: December 21, 2017, 01:27:12 AM
BTC has been dropping all day and while the HODL thinking is strong the reality is BTC has gone to shit. IT has exploded in price but the price doesn't meeet the expectations. Transaction fees are high and the network is sloooooooow as fuck. this will certainly hurt BTC.

Bitcoin cash is explodiding and investors in BTC are dropping out to invest in Bitcoin cash.

Where will it end? BTC needs a stable price market....not this over inflated price.
115  Other / Meta / Re: Negative Trust and Feedback for no reason. Is it possible. on: December 20, 2017, 01:11:14 AM
lol just look at my profile I got a red trust by posting on off topic about committing suicide when I was really depressed at that time

The DT trust system is broken..Has been and will be. While Most Negative Trust is issued with good intent on preventing scammers there are SOME that abuse it. I don't agree with all of it. but for the most part it is genuine and meant for good.

Tanyadegurechaff i looked at your neg trust and your post regarding it. I checked the "Reference" to the negative trust and scanned through the posts on the thread.

The comment made by the mod hilariousandco "Death is always an option" to you wanting to commit suicide is brutal. Regardless if you were serious or not that comment is just an unsympathetic Asshole of a view on people who are Depressed and are contemplating suicide.

I can't say what state of mind he was in in but such an insensitive comment about a person talking about suicide makes him a Total asshole (At the Moment) You deserve an apology IMHO.
116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Person stole 50k dollars from forum! F*ck! on: December 19, 2017, 12:42:32 AM
Not sure why someone would just give bitcoin away like this. Op, why?

Blinded by greed or just stupid. Maybe both.

DUDE POST THE USERNAME

He's trolling. People have advised him to start a scam accusation thread and say who it's about and still nothing. He keeps going around it trying to avoid confrontation. If I had that much on the line I'd be posting with his profile name in my signature along with the link to the transaction and words SCAMMER and THIEF.
tomorrow i will post the full story with the name BUT I'm sure that that no one will help me! I want to find people who want to give me a real help! the moderator of this theme has no fucking time to response on my question! the only way to find a person is this forum where scammer enters everyday. He deleted all his social media, groups, t.me etc.

IS THERE PEOPLE WHO WANTS TO HELP ME!?Huh? I NEED A PROGRAMMER WHO CAN IDENTIFY A LOCATION BY LOGIN!!!!!

You are a troll. Anyone in their right mind who lost $50k would be naming names and naming companies. Not after Months not after weeks. You would be Naming people within days!  Your story is Bullshit.
117  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for improving post quality? on: December 19, 2017, 12:32:10 AM
The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

Some guidelines:

1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.
2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.
4. No referral code spam
5. No NSFW content

From 2011 sirius said it wayyy back then. "Now that we have thousands of posts a day,We can't afford 50% of them being junk"

Why has this CLEAR rational decision changed?    Answer : GREED

We allow paid Sig Ad Bullshit to any creature that finds their way to the forum. As long as this BS continues the forum will continue to degrade and lose true Members.

It has become a cluster fuck of Spam.

Ban the Sig Ad. Campaigns....The forum will take a hit at first but then it will come back as Real users understand it's a Forum to find and discuss relevant information Regarding BTC
118  Other / Meta / Re: account banned - sorry for another one of these posts on: December 19, 2017, 12:11:33 AM
I did not break any rules.  I have emailed the address provided several times.  All my messages were deleted, my status downgraded, and I cannot post.

I did not spam, I did not copy/paste, I did not use a proxy or anything.  I would really like my account back, and I want to know why this happened.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1108202

Any help would be appreciated.

You BROKE the rules and you got NUKED! Stop crying about it you won't get your account back. You should have read the rules.

Does this info. Help? as you Requested.
119  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for improving post quality? on: December 18, 2017, 09:58:58 AM
What are everyone's ideas for improving post quality?

I have mostly ruled out:

 - Removing signatures or sig ads globally.
 - Requiring payment to wear sig ads.
 - Banning account sales.

To Rule out these 3 you are skirting the Main problem on the forum. Paid sig ad campaigns will still be more desirable to spammers with a guaranteed payment  over your ideas Based on a "Chance" to win some BTC.

I see what you are trying to do with your ideas but it's just not going to work.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Now that BITCOIN hits the 18K$ USD LEVEL.... When will this GIANT BUBBLE burst? on: December 17, 2017, 12:02:09 AM
It has Risen wayyyyy to fast. The transactions are slow the fees are high to send. This is a disaster for BTC. Enjoy it while it lasts because this is not sustainable.
