So sad to see Chelsea again being unable to get a 3 pointer and climb the ladder to the top 3 places.
Abramovic spent so much money in signings this summer and still they cannot win teams like Southampton.
Unlucky goal conceded at 92' minutes and giving a 3-3 score in this game.

I will be rich by the time I will have money to retire from my job.
I don't want more money, I just want to have money in order to live the rest of my live adequately.
Investing is not easy, it takes a lot of risk and sometimes it leads to lose all your available capital.
103  Other / Off-topic / Re: I drank 1.5 gallons of beer yesterday on: October 16, 2020, 06:29:56 PM
I used to drink a lot in the past but I don't do it anymore.
I had some bad hangovers with led me rethink if it is fun to drink alcohol.
You are having a great time at the time you are drinking but you waste the other day as you don't have the mood to do anything due to this weird feeling of wanting to vomit.
104  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT Members, country of origin on: October 16, 2020, 04:30:29 PM
How about giving as information the coins that they hodl instead of their country of origin?
In the crypto ecosystem there are no boarders. We are all members of the same beliefs.

We are here for the crypto!
105  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is a Bitcoin ATM? on: October 16, 2020, 04:25:22 PM
You can use bitcoin ATM maps : https://coinatmradar.com/countries/ to find an ATM near you but not every ATMs are same, some need KYC and some don't have any restrictions.

i used a bitcoin machine in Canada and I paid $225 for $175 worth of Bitcoin. Its a rip-off.

Why should you buy bitcoin from an ATM?
Cryptocurrency ecosystem is built online and not in psychical way.
It is contractility to visit an ATM in order to buy online/digital money.
People have reasons to buy bitcoins from ATM even though the price is premium from the market prices like no KYC needed, can avoid the records on our bank account and much more.

The prices are always higher if you want to buy Bitcoins from an ATM, so you are paying more for something you can get cheaper.
No KYC is also available in many platforms - for example you can make purchases from Binance with only your card without completing any KYC to the platform. The only thing that I can agree is that you pay with cash and you get cash when you withdraw thus you are staying away from Banks.

Merseyside Derby tomorrow, I’m excited to see this game, I wonder if Everton can really lay down a marker. If Everton can win then it might give them confidence to really think they can put in a proper title challenge.
I think this match is difficult to guess (who will win) Everton have a good record in the last few games while Liverpool has 1 lose.  I think the team that will be the winner in this match is the team that has the most confidence.  This match must be very tight because Everton have ambitions that have not been realized until now, as their host (Everton) will definitely work very hard..

Quote
Everton's side has gone nearly a decade without a win in the derby, but they have a season start that can provide hope of changing that record this weekend when they host the Reds.

You cannot say that Liverpool is not as good as Everton because they suffered one loss.
To my eyes, Liverpool is much better than Everton, and even that this game is called the "Derby of Merseyside" the Reds are going to dominate the game and win it easily with big scoring.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 16, 2020, 04:16:43 PM
I am excited for the return of the CL, it’s the absolute pinnacle of club football. The best players from tye best clubs compete for European football’s biggest prize. Who are your favourite the win the trophy guys?

Don't Rush... We are seeing again the covid infections rising around Europe.
I am pretty much sure that the games for the teams that are coming from Italy are going to be postponed.
In the near future infections from other European countries are going to rise and the season is going to be ruined again as last year.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 16, 2020, 04:15:06 PM
Watching how covid-19 is unfolding in Italy Juventus Napoli 3-0 is probably the first result of a long bad streak. They are talking about selective regional lockdowns and if they happen forget about Serie A. Still, Juve-Napoli was ridiculously handled from all the involved parties.

To tell you the truth, those infections are making me feel suspicious about them.
It is now the time that we are heading to winter and people are not going so much out of their homes but still infections are rising in Italy. And again a huge portion of the infections is coming from Serie A. While Ronaldo is tested positive he is "quarantined" himself in his pool...
109  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: AMFEIX - is it legit? on: October 16, 2020, 04:11:55 PM
Just noticed that the AMFEIX thread is again active and came to see what happened to this 'project'.
It was obvious that this is going to end up as a scam. There was no other platform that was giving such high returns in so short time. The sad part in my opinion is that this was being promoted to coinmarketcap and it was sure that many people are going to get scammed.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 16, 2020, 04:04:24 PM
Rondo is a gem, he is a great PG, probably a hall of famer in the future, so I hope he will be able to play at a good team that has a chance to qualify in the playoffs. What about playing along with Giannis, is it possible?

It would be easier if Giannis joined to Rondo and his more titled brother - Kostas. Championship title secured  Cheesy Cheesy

As Giannis wants to stay at the Bucks it would be very beneficial to the team to sign a PG.
Bucks need another player as a point guard for sure - Bledsoe and Hill are good but not enough if you want to get a championship title. Rondo and Giannis would have a lot of chances to get a ring if they play together at the Milwaukee.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 16, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
Manchester United is not going to have a good season. This is definitely not a manager's fault. They have been doing some mistakes on transfer market over past few years. It doesn't matter if Ole remains, or Pochettino arrives. Even Sir Alex Ferguson had some shitty first seasons when he took over Man utd in the 80-ies. Key is consistency, whoever will manage Man UTD he needs time, at least few seasons before good results start to kick in. The club has money, reputation, fans all over the world...they just need a manager who will stay long enough to make a result, and then results will come, and they'll fight for every trophy.

The difference between Ole Gunnar and Ferguson is that the latter had built a basic squad and all signings were based on those 5 players.
This is why they didn't have so bad seasons such as Solskjaer.
Man Utd will need 3 -4 years to return back to the top standings but they need to start building the team based on 5 basic players in the line up with the one of them having a leadership role.
112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm very worried about my Crypto Trading. on: October 14, 2020, 07:45:56 AM
I'm very worried, Will I ever be able to make some income by trading crypto? Everything I buy is down. If I want to earn something from Crypto trading, then what do I have to do? What do I need to know?

Maybe you are not doing a TA before making a call.
Where do you support your calls? Maybe you are more a FOMO guy and you buy when the price is at their ATH and after you buy it starts falling.
Read about trading first, make some calls with small amounts of money and as the time goes buy you are going to be experienced with that.

You were so stupid to send such amounts to a random user in a random chat group.
Don't you know that there are a lot of options out there to gamble by yourself YOUR money in gambling platforms?
And I really cannot understand why you had to bet so much money on a single game... Every part of this story is false to my eyes...
114  Other / Off-topic / Re: Zodiac Signs and Their Personality Traits. on: October 14, 2020, 06:59:08 AM
Zodiac signs is something that is invented in order to fool people.
There is not any relation between the stars and the dates that a people is born. It is just a way to give people hope and interest in their lives and try to explain some behaviors.
There is not any scientific evidence for them and people who believe on them are desperate on certain situations that occur in their lives and try to find ways to overcome it.
115  Other / Off-topic / Re: Covid 19 causes racism against Asian decendents abroad on: October 14, 2020, 06:53:23 AM
Since the outbreak of Covid 19 Chinese ascendant and other Asians are being racially attacked by calling them KungFlu (thanks to Trump), Corona. Also the number of physically attacks on Asians since March this year has been increased.

I read and heard some disgusting and disturbing news about these accidents and it is heartbreaking. Why have these Asians abroad have to be a victim to the things happen in China?

Is it nature to blame each other even no one can tell what the case is of Covid 19.

It's a disturbing world where we live in.

Trump is feeding this racism against the Asians and especially the Chinese.
He keeps blaming that China is the root of this disease and he blames them everytime he cans in every statement he makes.
If we want to stop racism we have to choose leaders who are not promoting it.

I really cannot understand the reason why someone will try drugs and eventually get addicted to them.
It is like you are a weak person that you cannot control yourself... Sorry to say that but it is what it is...
Anyway good luck everyone if you are addicted there is always a way out - you just have to be strong and face the reality.

Windows speech recognition is not working in all laptops.
It depends on the language that your computer is set. If the language that you have set your computer is not supported by the Windows speech recognition you will not be able to used it. The solution is to switch the language to a supported one - such as English.

119  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 14, 2020, 06:20:45 AM
Just saw your invitation at my DMs and I am happy to take part!

So, Let's go!

1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?
I started being involved in crypto at the mid 2016 when I was a student in the university and trying to find ways to make money with a friend. If I am not mistaken the price of Bitcoin was around $100 but still I was thinking that it was too expensive to buy. Additionally, I was finding very difficult the whole process of buying crypto - now I have changed my mind - and I bought my first Bitcoin at the end of 2017.

2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?
I was first fast that I answered that in the previous question!  Grin
I bought my first Bitcoin at the end of 2017 after a lot of research on how I can make the whole process from the beginning till the end successfully. It was very hard for me at that time to understand it.

3. How did you get on the forum?
A friend of mine introduced me in the forum. It was that time that we were trying to find work in the crypto space and introduced me the "Services" board. For a lot of period it was the only board that I was reading - noticing closely due tot he fact that I was waiting for a job post that would match my skills and abilities.

4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?
In my opinion, mass adoption is prevented by two factors. The first is the volatility of the market which makes people being afraid to buy - get involved in crypto -  because they are going to lose their money. The second factor is the whole process of buying bitcoin. It was harder in the past, now we have easy funnels to buy in even like making a purchase from your credit card. The fees are still high however...

4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?
The gambling industry is one of the strongest in the cryptocurrency space. Due to the fact that many people feel guilty when gambling in traditional casinos, blockchain has helped a lot in this part of the society making gambling an anonymous activity. The best advertising that I have seen is this one of Sportbet.io which is advertised on the jersey of a football team in one of the most competitive European Leagues.

4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?
This actually depends on the kind of investment we are talking about.
There are a lot of risk free investments out there where people are able to invest from the first week of their involvement. If they want to start day trading for example then of course they will need more education to do that.

5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?
I don't think that the forum is harmed by them. Actually, those two are weapons that made the forum well known and used by people.
People are getting incentivized to help others and provide help, thus merit system is a part of spreading knowledge in the crypto community.

6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?
Personally, I like the Bitcoin Discussion Board... As far as the most helpful users, it is hard to say. There are a lot of honorable people - in every board that help and educate others or protect people from getting scammed (i.e. fillippone, Loycev, Marlboroza, suchmoon, OgNasty, etc.)

7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?
Chat room
Way to block users who try to scam - negative trust is not enough for me
Marketplace

8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?
Yes, I am investing in projects mostly. I used to be trading but they need a lot of time which I do not acquire right now.

9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?
It was that time when I first started trading futures. After a lot of days of reading and watching videos I started trading futures.
During the first days I made a significant profit of around 500%. I thought that I am going to make "easy" and "fast" money with futures, but then the day came which I lost all my profit and my initial investment in just two hours because I was emotionally attached to my decisions.

10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?
It is one step ahead to bring adoption but still there is a lot of risk of losing money or getting scammed as scammers have found a new way to steal money.

11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?
Anonymity is a necessity for me and for everyone in here, I believe.
It is part of our freedom and a basic characteristic of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?
I used to read articles on the web and whitepapers of projects.

13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?
Apart from Bitcoin?  Grin
ETH, LINK, BNB

14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?
My speculation is that it is going to hit 13k till the end of 2020.

15. P.S. (Optional)
This is my chance to make you a question! How did you choose me among all those reputable members of the forum?
Thank you very much in advance for this interesting interview!
120  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2 years cigarette free on: October 13, 2020, 06:11:40 PM
I quit 2 years ago and I never felt better. I know it sounds strange but I read a book and I it was easy to quit. I strongly encourage everyone to do so because they can but they dont know that.

It is easy to quit it if you take this decision.
You have to be kind of "selfish" to quit it and support the decision that you made to quit it.
Congratulations for your strength and I hope that you will spend the money saved from not buying cigarettes to a good investment that will pay you back!
