981  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Prolonged border closure on: May 05, 2020, 03:02:43 PM
What are the main problems that may arise if all countries close (or almost close) their borders for 1-2 years or more?

Fortunately, it cannot be said that some kind of isolation is felt now, because we can easily call (Skype) a person who lives in another country.
But what problems can arise?

The Global economy relies a lot at exports.
And the tourism industry is one of those that are going to suffer the most if the borders are going to close. 1-2 years are already too much. There are so many countries that have a huge portion of their GDP based on the tourism sector.
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 05, 2020, 12:13:58 PM
Reopening casinos in Las Vegas. It will not be the same, there is talk to test the temperature to customers, if there are still travel restrictions. The visit to the casino would be less, social distances and all the elements that the gambling and entertainment rooms have. It is a difficult situation, it is an industry that invests and generates a lot of income. We are honestly caught at a crossroads with the Coronavirus where we have to decide between health or the economy.

I am not from the US but doesn't Las Vegas has permanent customers from the inside area?
For sure, travel restrictions are going to have serious impact to the income flow of the casinos but still I am not sure that this is the main stream.
Casinos are not going to open till the situation is stabilized.

Even if Chloroquine is a good medicine for Coronavirus it might create a lot of problems to those who take this medication.
It is one of the heaviest drug out there and can have a lot of side effects.
This is the reason why it was not so much used for other cases as well.
984  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Video Game Addiction, a very real problem. on: May 05, 2020, 07:03:47 AM
I have caught myself playing video games due to addiction.
You initially start playing video games because you will feel relaxed and you want to entertain yourself.
I really don't know how to stop this addiction as it becomes a routine after sometime and you cannot quit it.
985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: should china be punished for Bullying Countries? on: May 05, 2020, 07:02:04 AM
From Many I have watching news about China's bullying
Here are some examples
Recently Netherland changed Taiwan rep office name
On Response to that china threatens to halt medical supplies
https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3925556

Also China threatend Australia over the Australia's demand for independent investigation of Wuhan Lab

China also threatened Nepal , India and many more country

China also hide the information  corona virus how it spread and all

China's recent activity South China Raises a question that
Don't you think it unethical?
Is Covid-19 a Biological Weapon?

Should China Get punished?

They should be punished, but the biggest question is how? the best that we can get to punish China is trade embargo or not patronizing their products and stop their low class manufacturers from making your product, they have a very cheap labors and because of that they have become rich exploiting their manpower, but only super powe can punish China.

So the virus was create from China?
Because initially it was said that it was created by the US (CIA) in order to harm the Chinese economy. Now this isn't true?
The same way that the US cannot be punished for anything they do, is valid for China as well. Even a trade war to them would not harm their economy at all as there are a lot of economies that rely to them and manufacture materials there.
986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: May 05, 2020, 06:53:07 AM
It is going to be so weird and I am sure when governments allow football matches resume, they do have to accept some risks of cross-infections between players. In such face-to-face sports, hoping for zero cross-infections between players if one of them contains the virus is very unrealistic.

There is no way that any player is not going to get infected.
I think that we are going to see cases of players that will start getting infected after the restart of the league.
It is inevitable to keep all the players uninfected. The only case for that would be only if they had continued the quarantine and they were getting out only to play matches.
987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 05, 2020, 06:49:33 AM
Players of Juventus that are coming back (CR7 just landed minutes ago) must observe 14days of quarantine. Not a big deal Juvenuts is the only team in Italy with a private Hotel. (normaly open to fans but now closed for obvious reasons)
It looks more likely that plans to restart the league are being pushed through, let's hope everyone involved turns out fine and all players are negative when tested, I read that Germany discovered about ten players who tested positive to the virus. Even if the number is low, it would be unfair to teams to have to play without their top players in such a situation, cause I believe the league would do a lot to finish the season if they resume.
Players returning is just a small step, there's still a lot of processes to be done before there can be a kick-off for any game in Italy.

You can't say that the number is low when those players are getting interacted with 4x people around them.
Maybe now they have 10 cases but in two weeks those cases might be 40 and so on.
I hope that Italy will be in a better situation as every player that comes from another country stays for 14 days in quarantine.
988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 05, 2020, 06:47:21 AM
In the news they say that already 3 teams have at least one player that is positive to coronavirus.
This has started to make them think again if they are going to restart the league or not.
If there are so many positive case they should not start it of course.
989  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 04, 2020, 02:15:06 PM
@coinlocket and Coyster: looks like Juventus simply refuses to get any younger, but I don't know, I always like seeing teams age and Juventus take it to quite a special level, wouldn't you say?

Now about Pogba, I HOPE he stays. Every annoying expensive superstar that stays at United for another season makes me happy to see their coffers get smaller and smaller. Not that I dislike the guy but he deserves United =p Or they deserve him =p Won't forget how he plundered points against Citeh!

Big clubs - such as Juventus - get young players only when they are not in a good financial position.
Juventus is now one of the best clubs in Europe and one of the richest - in terms of income flow.
They are going to bring young players to the main squad only if they are going to lose champioships and being disqualified from CL.

How can I know that a website if registered to one of those domains?
If there a tool which I can use in order to find out the domain provider of a website? Otherwise I am going to just trying to contact randomly domain providers.
991  Economy / Economics / Re: Anybody here trying to live bankless (using Bitcoin / cryptocurrencies)? on: May 04, 2020, 02:07:51 PM
I have made huge efforts in order to live bankless.
However, society is build upon banks. If you have a job you have to have a bank account in order to get paid. I tried to find a job in the crypto industry but it is not so much evolved so I couldn't continue for long.
992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: May 04, 2020, 11:28:05 AM
I really like Watford and to me the league should continue Cheesy. I don't know if watford will be going out of regulation zone, if the season doesn't get completed I really hope at least they won't finish it like this, just keep the teams there and do not regulate them at all. That way watford is guaranteed to not go down, better idea to me actually instead of continue to play Cheesy. Guess the best way to find out is time, we gonna have to wait and see whats going to happen.

Even if league continues I think watford has a good chance to stay, if it doesn't continue it hurts Liverpool more than any other team, they could have been over 100 points by now, so lets hope league reopens and we can see a very record breaking and historical season. Historical because both points but also corona Cheesy.

I didn't like Watford for the last years but due to the fact that they have BTC on their shirt they become one of the teams I like to watch.
We all in here do not want them to be relegated. They are a great marketing for our crypto world and they are getting a lot of attention when they play on the EPL and not in Championship.
993  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you remember your first mobile phone? on: May 04, 2020, 09:43:23 AM
Not sure if i personally owned a Nokia 3310. I think I used them for small call business around 2003/2004 though. My first functional mobile phone was probably red in color and has somewhat rubbery physical keypad...very old phone even back then  I was really grateful having it.
I also owned a Thuraya satellite phone I got from a relation, didn't really use it. It was actually my oldest phone. Took it to school always, even though it never worked Smiley

I see that almost everyone had a 3310 phone back in time.
Maybe they used it or owned it doesn't matter.
It was the most mainstream and the best mobile phone before this trend with smartphones and all the technological advantages came up.
994  Economy / Economics / Re: Just a remark about Bitcoin, Gold and Water... on: May 04, 2020, 07:19:21 AM
I think, Bitcoin is similar to WATER. In the Nature, there is water in the clouds, not gold Cheesy
Any opinions? Wink

It is really hard for me to understand this correlation.
Water can be used and found by anyone around the world, while Gold is scarce giving this characteristic to Bitcoin as well as it is not so easy to be found and the supply is limited.
995  Economy / Economics / Re: Get ready for more tax. Save your BTC! on: May 04, 2020, 06:48:54 AM
Economic crisis all over the world is going to happen in 2020 and mostly it will be visible by September.
Taxes and other kinds of measures are going to be taken. As a result, the income of people is going to decrease and this is going to bring poverty again - same as it happened in 2009 when Leamann Brothers fall.
996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: May 04, 2020, 06:43:38 AM
If you gamble everyday then there is not any difference between gambling and day trading.
You have to pose a strategy and you have to have in mind the price of the crypto that you are betting in order to maximize profits and minimize losses. The same concept happens with day trading so there is not any difference at all.
997  Other / Off-topic / Re: Headset on: May 04, 2020, 06:39:27 AM
Maybe Razor? how many different headphones I had from this company did not let me down even once. Or look more "republic of gamers"  Cheesy

Razer has the best headsets int he market and the most endurable ones.
However, they are not the cheapest so the OP will not have the option for a low budget purchase. Personally, I have changed a lot of headsets. I prefer buying a more expensive one than buying a cheaper one.
998  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: May 04, 2020, 06:36:57 AM
We have seen this political - economic conspiracy theory through many virus games in the world. In addition, the US has punished the internal Chinese economy through taxing goods. Perhaps China did not accept this and retaliated against the US with this corona virus. It is clear that this virus has been studied and determined to be made from humans. That's why I think this is something that was planned. Americans really should be careful when confronting China.

If this was a a plan from China why they didn't throw the seed of corona virus to the US directly?
The virus started from China and many people died in Wuhan. Was it part of the plan to harm their people? I hate those conspiracy theories without any real fundamentals on the background.
999  Other / Off-topic / Re: People who blaspheme GOD shouldn't be tolerated on: May 03, 2020, 08:02:07 AM
Blasphemy is a problem in our societies and it needs to be solved in order to keep a balance to people's behavior.
If someone doesn't have faith in God should respect and be respected the same way as a person who has faith in Him. If he is respectfulness then he should face consequences for this behavior as it is something that shows abnormal behavior for other people in societies.
1000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 03, 2020, 07:52:33 AM
I read on news if Sassuolo will back in training this monday even they are not get permission from FIGC. Some regulations will be applied in this training session, including keep physical distancing, not allowed to enter the room, including not using gym and office facilities.

how can a team decide that they are going to be trained without getting a permission?
All teams should be enforced to keep the quarantine till the end. If they do whatever they want then an outbreak is going to start again and this way they risk the cancellation of Serie A once and for all.
