1081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 23, 2020, 08:38:10 AM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?

We are waiting for Bitcoin Halving to happen in about 15 days.
I don't think that 3k is still a viable target. As the Bitcoin Halving is going to happen then the lower support is going to be higher than the 3k that it is already discussed before this event.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: April 23, 2020, 08:34:05 AM
I am a Dice gambler however I tried to play Crash.
Crash is indeed more risky game, but it can give you more profits. You just have to adapt your strategy in a way that you have to make a lot of bets but find a way to hit a huge x and get a profit plus your money back.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Rookie thing. on: April 23, 2020, 08:21:44 AM

1. There is no question about Fiat money (whatever it is $, £ or euro.) thats its losing it's value, so the question is. If it got no value what value Bitcoin have then ? ( i will use bitcoin for must common crypto but thinking of any). Can't get my head over it.

If Fiat losses its value then Bitcoin value will still be there and 1 BTC is going to be equal to 1 BTC. Simple as that. Another option is the fact that it is paired to other cryptocurrencies in the market.
If Bitcoin losses its value it will still have value but you will need more BTC in order to "cover" the value that it had previously.
Either way, Bitcoin is not going to be vanished and it will have value forever.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 23, 2020, 08:18:20 AM
⌃ wth? why are there 6 players above Cristiano Ronaldo? He's worth 10x more than every single player on that list, even if their market value dropped. That list kinda looks like it was made with the sole purpose of shitting on CR7 lol

I don't think that this is a real statistic. And I wonder why football players are losing value. What is the reason for that? The league has stopped it is not that they do not play football because they are benched or they are injured.

Anywho, Giroud to Inter Milan almost done deal? https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11433952/chelsea-olivier-giroud-inter-contract-agreed/
Good transfer? Does this mean Lautaro will go to Barcelona next season?

I don't think that Giroud is a good sign for Inter. He is very old.
He has good headers and shots but still Inter needs younger players in order to build a strong team.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 23, 2020, 08:08:14 AM
Will the performance of Liverpool is going to get impacted and in the end lose the title? Cheesy
(food for thought and conversation)

That is too cruel, don't look LFC_Bitcoin

LOL!  Grin Why is this cruel? it is a fact!
Liverpool and all other teams will see difference in their playstyle. If it will be only Liverpool that would not be able to handle this change then it might be beneficial for the other teams.
Personally, I don't think that Liverpool is going to lose this championship as they already have huge difference from the second team.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: April 23, 2020, 08:05:13 AM
Very interesting article in Marca today: https://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2020/04/21/5e9e18cb22601d340c8b456e.html
''Half the Barcelona players face an uncertain future''.
In short, it seems Barcelona will probably have financial difficulties and problems to bring top players in the Club.
Also, a lot players face an uncertain future like Rakitic, Vidal, Semedo, Umtiti and many others.
To many problems for Barcelona now.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are two clubs that rely the most of TV incomes, tickets and marketing material and PR.
Due to the lockdown all those activities are stopped and this is why they now face financial problems.
There would not be a solution this year for sure so they are going to keep those problems in the following season as well.
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: April 23, 2020, 08:01:14 AM
Illegal gambling in Asian Football was a fact way before cryptocurrencies.
Those who are telling that cryptocurrencies are to be blamed for the rise of illegal gambling in Asia, are trying to do a propaganda.
I remember myself 20 years ago where people were trying to bet of Malaysian sportsbooks and gamble on Korean games in order to make some money from illegal betting.
1088  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 23, 2020, 07:55:40 AM
I think that this pandemic brought something very positive in the working environment.
A lot of companies hadn't adopted the remote working - in some countries this was apparently forbidden.
Employers was afraid to leave their employees to work from home as they was thinking that they will not going to work. Coronavirus made it necessary to work from home and I believe that in the coming years we are going to see the remote working becoming the main trend in the labor industry.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic outcome on: April 23, 2020, 07:53:00 AM
The consequences of this epidemic are going to be much worse The country's economy will don't have anything to mention after the epidemic within the current crisis within the world People will live worse lives but there'll be tons of vacancies for jobs  Many unemployed people are going to be employed but it'll take an extended time to get over this economy. Many people's work pressure will increase After the impact on online if the country's economy is broken the way to buy add case of an depression.

The pandemic would not have so much impact in the public health system.
The economies of the countries that suffered the most and eventually the global economy are going to be hit hard. This 1-2 months of lockdown is going to have serious impact in the GDP worldwide.
1090  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC and Stock vs Oil price on: April 23, 2020, 07:48:41 AM
The stock market is impacted heavily due to the drop in oil prices. Do you all think it will impact the BTC prices as well?

Cryptocurrency market seems not to be affected by the crisis in the oil market.
The stock market is directly affected as oil is traded in those markets as a commodity, something that doesn't happen in the cryptocurrency market.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 23, 2020, 07:44:28 AM
It seems like China's economy was not crushed, I mean the corona virus only affected one City but their capital city where the business are done are still open despite the corona virus, now that they were able to contained the virus, their economy will be more better while other parts of the world are still battling the virus.

China treated this virus very well and this is why the virus affected only Wuhan.
If all other countries around the world would have taken this virus serious we would not have so much deaths and infections all over the world - with the biggest impact happening to the US.
1092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This guy gambles and wins a total amount of £400,000 and quits while ahead. on: April 22, 2020, 01:30:08 PM
Better keep the 400k than don't have anything.
If I were in his position I would do the same. 400k is a pretty decent amount of money where you can do a lot of things in your life with those money.
After all, you are not going to become rich with gambling so it is better to quit it early.
1093  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price to hit $400k a prediction by an analyst *face palm* on: April 22, 2020, 01:24:29 PM
Dave the Wave the analyst who this article author claims correctly predicted last years bitcoin crash, has made a wild speculation again this time as he claims that Bitcoin prices will hit $400k which is an absurd prediction in my personal opinion. Further the author of this article wants us to believe that just because Dave got it right once he’ll get it right again, and I do hope that newbies don’t fall for such gimmicks and avoid making investment decisions based on such analysts views.

Quote

In the crypto world, Dave the Wave’s predictions always carry significant weight. This is after he predicted in July last year that BTC would enter a parabolic downtrend, and Bitcoin price fell from $11,600 to $6,425 as he predicted.

With Dave the Wave’s previous prediction coming true in the past, this lends credence to this forecast.

Author is a newbie first he claims it’s a reliable prediction, and then goes on to questioning it :

As to how BTC would increase to these prices remains a mystery, especially for greenhorns in the industry. However, it is not the first time Bitcoin hikes by a seemingly unthinkable amount.

Those articles are just trying to attract more viewers.
There is not any analysis that can show that the price is going to hit 400k. We are still struggling to hit the ATH and those guys say that they can show in the charts that the price is going to be up so much...
1094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin creating panic again? on: April 22, 2020, 01:19:37 PM
This downward trend of Bitcoin is due to the coronavirus panic.
It doesn't have to do with the market itself.
Now that Bitcoin halving is close the price will possibly go up again.
1095  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 22, 2020, 01:12:50 PM
Poorest countries will not be affected by COVID-19 due to the fact that they do not have a lot of interaction with big economies and nations such as China. US of Europe.
They will not have a lot of infections and as a result their economy is going to continue working normally.
1096  Economy / Economics / Re: New World: Global or National? Governance with Blockchain on: April 22, 2020, 10:12:36 AM
In the beginning the sentence "Governance with Blockchain" is wrong.
If we have blockchain adapted in our society then we will not need any governance in our world as everything is going to work under electronic rules.
So the answer is that neither Global or National governance is going to be needed.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 22, 2020, 09:52:01 AM
Those conspiracy theories all all over the internet right now.
I don't think that Chinese government is so malicious in order to do all this. After all, the Chinese economy was already the Number one economy in the world, the didn't have any real benefit of causing all this disaster.
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: Stimulus package drop in coinbase on: April 22, 2020, 08:51:30 AM
So I've read that coinbase has been receiving a $1,200 deposits which the US government pays their citizen for quarantine relief, stimulus package.

The CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong reported that they were getting a huge number of deposits amounting $1,200 that quadrupled over a week.

Are we going to see a massive pump because of this? Or is it just the big players acting to stage a pump like season to set traps for the upcoming halving?

As for Treasury Secretary Steven Munchin, they have distributed the stimulus check last week in nearly half of their target. 80 million people should have received it.

If this is true that American Citizen has been buying bitcoin from last week, or at least half of them, do you believe that this could start the bull to run?

I my opinion, such moves are happening from the institutions in order to have a control over the market.
If this is true and American Citizen has started buying Bitcoin - which can be realized only if they make an announcement about that - then the price is going to be increased due to mass adoption.
1099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 22, 2020, 08:20:43 AM
It is quite clear that the price will go low due to COVID and the need for some physical cash. I personally believe that after this crisis, bitcoin will rise as it should be.

We are enduring Covid-19 already 2 months and the prices is not dropped a lot.
AS Bitcoin Halving is going to happen in around 20 days the price is not going to go low, but on the contrary it is going to grow significantly.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 22, 2020, 08:15:48 AM
Yup. Solidarity here just from a day ago. Wonder how concessions were made. Brescia even wanted to forfeit before rather than play.

The quote from the statement: "The Serie A general assembly met this morning and confirmed, with a unanimous vote of all 20 clubs connected by video conference, the intention to complete the 2019-2020 football season, if the government allows it to take place," said the statement... in compliance with medical protocols for the protection of players and all professionals."

So May 4th training resumes with social distancing, wonder if they'll also go like English FA suggesting one stretch of 30 days to finish 9/10 league games, and allow up to 5 substitutes. All kinds of suggestions, and to be fair, I like some of them.

Probably indeed almost certainly something related to money.
IMHO there are two possibilities.
They have threatened to give fewer prizes for this and next season, the teams take money based on the final ranking position.
They simply realized that if they refuse to play, the whole system can collapse as there is no money coming from private individuals and TVs.

Not sure about the date, they missing "only 12 games" and if they play every 3 days it is only 6 weeks if EUFA will delay all, they can easily and probably more safety start in June.

Only 12 games...
Those games are only for the Serie A right? Should we consider all other games that need to be played in European contests or the Italian Cup?
6 weeks playing games every 3 days is very tiring for the players.
