1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA : Complete Domestic Competitions! on: April 26, 2020, 12:16:10 PM
Possibly all games both in domestic or European competitions are going to be played without spectators. This will be the number one measure in order not to risk the public health while resuming all leagues.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 26, 2020, 11:42:43 AM
During the quarantine I have totally stopped my gambling activity.
The reason for that is that my income is somehow cut due to the fact that I do not work the same hours as I used to do previously. So I am trying to save some money for activities that are related to my family and children.
1063  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 26, 2020, 11:35:02 AM

I think Mark Zuckerberg used to advocate free internet access to everybody around the the globe, despite internet cost almost nothing to connect two devices, what is spend during the transmission of internet data are just so satellite radio waves or some wire cable electricity, compare to digging gold from the earth crust, you digging gold you need a lot of men’s power, you need a lot of chemicals, you need a lot of heat to melt gold, a lot of petrol to move the gold, a lot of space to store the gold, a lot of everything to keep gold to what we have today, but it mean nothing. Internet would become the most expensive commodity eventually, you would gonna spend a lot of your hard earned money on internet bills and make the greedy conglomerate who control the entire internet water pipe business and force you to pay all your money to access the internet the entire life of you living on this earth, the free internet is dead, the free education is dead, the toll free road is dead, and we all have forgotten what they promise to give us free water free electricity free healthcare free retirement, soon we will forget we used to promise free internet access to all investors, btw it’s all a lie.

Internet is not going to be a commodity as it cannot be owned or be broken into pieces.
Indeed, it is the most valuable service that anyone can provide - all the world is depended from it and if it goes down economies are going to break but it will never be a traded asset by anyone.
1064  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 26, 2020, 11:31:47 AM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.

China is the world's first economy already.
There was not any need for the coronavirus outbreak to destroy the other countries and bring China to the top. The fact now is that China is going to strengthen its position as the strongest economy in the world.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: April 26, 2020, 11:29:57 AM
Ever since Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies became a hit within the mainstream world, governments have been quite skeptical about them. Despite the promise of crypto to bring trustless payments to the world in a frictionless manner, governments have taken every effort to try to prevent its growth worldwide. As of now, centralized exchanges dominate the space where they're subject to KYC/AML laws. There's literally no way to prevent government surveillance except for P2P trading (like Local Bitcoins, etc).

Considering that centralized exchanges serve as gateways from crypto to Fiat (or vice-versa), they've been the targets of governments worldwide. The main concern of governments is tax evasion and money laundering. Sometimes I wonder why governments want to tax our cryptocurrency funds if they're not considered as money by most people worldwide? After all, crypto's nature is a highly unpredictable and volatile one. It seems to me that governments want to profit from this venture more than anything else. Any other cryptocurrency which prevents them from "taxing" people, would be considered illegal to them in the future (like Monero, and other privacy coins).

Which is why, I believe that crypto taxation is more of a problem than anything else. Do you agree with me? What are your thoughts? Huh

There is not any taxation in the cryptocurrencies that you hold.
Apparently, the taxation comes in the amount of the Fiat money you want to keep in your bank so the income is taxable in fiat not in crypto.
If you want not to be taxed then you can keep your money in crypto and none is going to ask you to pay taxes for that.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 26, 2020, 11:24:26 AM
So many rumors about Premier...

Next week they mayeb start training

Source: https://twitter.com/indykaila/status/1254098925528719361

So only Arsenal will do this training next week then what about other clubs?

Isn't the situation still unstable from covid-19? then what will be applied later, I think that there will be no obstacles whatsoever after they do.

I haven't found any announcement that teams are going to be let to start training.
I wonder how Arsenal got this decision when there is still not any stability in the treatment of COVID-19 in the UK.
Maybe those are just rumors in order to give hope to the spectators that EPL is going to start soon.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: April 26, 2020, 11:20:40 AM
The price of Bitcoin seems to start going upwards again slowly but steadily.
This event possibly happen due to the halving event that gets closer.
In my opinion, there is not any reason to panic sell - Covid-15 is not a thread to the market but an opportunity to grow more.
1068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 26, 2020, 11:17:05 AM
For all #46 Fans, Rossi speak about his year 2021.

https://the-race.com/motogp/rossi-admits-2021-motogp-return-is-likely/

Quote
Valentino Rossi has admitted that 2020 is unlikely to be his final year racing in MotoGP, with the coronavirus-enforced lockdown adjusting his decision on whether or not to continue after the end of this year.

He think the first races are at August or September...

If those races are going to happen only with spectators then August might be a good choice.
I think that the first races are not necessary to occur with spectators. Moto GP and F1 can start together weekend by weekend and the first races can be done without spectators - but this will have a strong impact to their income.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 26, 2020, 10:55:48 AM
There are no options left for tennis though, we I will say that I will shot all your ideas for now. There are no safe place to play tennis with crowded fans. Yes, they can do without any fans, but I think players themselves will not thrive on this environments. Specially those who love seeing people cheering in the corner, it somewhat boost their confidence to win, just saying.

Tennis tournaments are relied a lot to the spectators and the tickets.
If there is no way to ensure that people are going to be on the stadium and watch the games then possibly the tournaments such as Roland Garros which is coming soon is going to be postponed.
1070  Other / Off-topic / Re: Esports growth during COVID-19 lockdown on: April 26, 2020, 08:14:28 AM
Esports have a great potential of growth in the future.
Lockdown is not the reason why they are getting a good pace in the market. It is just another factor that will make the esports adoption move faster. Before lockdown there was a great popularity for esports all over the world.
1071  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lockdown depression :( on: April 26, 2020, 08:12:36 AM
Is anyone having depression because of Lockdown?

I am having a really sad mood all the time and also scared of nothing many a times. I also am very much addicted to anti anxiety pills (prescribed) and during lockdown I have to take double to suppress it down. I dont go outdoors much even before lockdown but the little I did has stopped. College has stopped. Nothing feels good.

There are a lot of things to do in order to feel better.
If you want company in those days you can arrange calls with your friends or family every day. This would make you feel less alone and will make you feel happier.
Also you can learn a new skill hobby and do what you like to do in order to spend your time creatively.
1072  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you remember your first mobile phone? on: April 26, 2020, 08:09:39 AM
A Sony Ericcson brick with the pullout aerial, man back then whenever I pulled it, I thought I was the real deal, Gangsta yo!

Sony Ericsson along with Nokia phones were the two that were conquering the market back then.
The interesting fact is how the market changed and now companies that didn't exist they are now the key players in the market. If Nokia had followed the technological trends the would be still number one.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 26, 2020, 08:06:06 AM
Next week is going to be crucial in order to see where we are going.
Will the measures are going to be stopped? Otherwise, how will the Arsenal players are going to start training together?
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 26, 2020, 08:04:05 AM
The coronavirus thread is going to exist for a year or Morey, till we find a vaccine for that.
Having said that, there will be always a thread for the public health and the players.
In my opinion, Bundesliga should start again and matches to be played with no spectators...
1075  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A Good Salary vs A Career in the sector you love... on: April 26, 2020, 08:00:37 AM
Why settle for one and not both?

Look, the basic thing is, we get only one life. Would you spend it collecting dollar bills and not enjoying each moment of your work life? Would you choose a profession which you don't like or enjoy and in it only for the money? Isn't it like forced prostitution? Where one just sees money and doesn't enjoy!

There are lots of motivational speech that says work towards passion and many try to debunk them. But the reality is what the motivational speeches say.

If you follow your passion and do what you love and is good at, you will excel. You will not make very much amount in the beginning, but as you progress and you will progress at an accelerated rate, you will make money so much and it will not be your primary goal because you would be enjoying the journey of your favorite profession.

What will you do with the money you earnt by working so hard without enjoying at all? You will spend it by doing what you enjoy. So why not make the profession enjoyable?

Life will be full of frustration if you walk on the way only because of money. My opinion...

It is very difficult to find a balance on both.
I don't say that you can never do it, but in most cases you cannot do what you love and get a lot of money - compared to another job that might not be satisfying doing it but pays more.
1076  Economy / Economics / Re: How can the corona virus end Faster and economy reopen on: April 26, 2020, 07:56:46 AM
Coronavirus is going to puzzle us in the next year as well.
At least until a vaccine about his virus comes out, we are going to hear about people dying from it.
The economy should be pushed now by public spending
This is going to increase the growth rates and return to normal positive rates faster.
1077  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: International Updates on: April 26, 2020, 07:54:24 AM
UK considers extending distancing measures for one year. Starts trials of vaccine in humans.
UK: 148,377 cases, 20,319 deaths.
Brazil governors relaxing quarantines 407 deaths in a single day. Justice minister resigns (following Health minister).
Brazil: 52,995 cases, 3,670 deaths, 27,655 recoveries.
26 million people in America lost their job
Two domestic cats in New York with COVID-19
50 thousand deaths in the USA
800 crewman from Roosevelt carrier are COVID-19 positive
Several cases of poisoning with disinfectant after Trump's "sarcastic" comment.
USA: 927,316 cases, 52,415 deaths, 101,315 recoveries.
10 new cases in Venezuela
Venezuela 318 cases, 10 deaths, 128 recoveries.
Peru: 21,648 cases, 634 deaths, 7,496 recoveries.
Vaccine study by volunteers approved in Germany
Germany: 155,054 cases, 5,767 deaths, 99,862 recoveries.
Spain 14 year old or younger allowed to go out
Spain: 223,759 cases, 22,902 deaths, 95,708 recoveries.
Ecuador prepares to resume economic activity
Ecuador: 22,719 cases, 576 deaths, 1,366 recoveries.
Colombia extends confinement until May 11. Outbreak inside mental clinic in Bogotá.
Colombia: 4,881 cases, 225 deaths, 1,003 recoveries.
Mexico with over 1 thousand deaths
Mexico: 12,872 cases, 1,221 deaths, 2,627 recoveries.
Chile plans to return to normality
Chile: 12,306 cases, 174 deaths, 6,327 recoveries.
Russia warns unemployment will double
Russia: 74,588 cases, 681 deaths, 6,250 recoveries.

One year of social distancing measures is going to be a pain for the citizens in the UK.
Seems like the US is the country that suffers the most these days. I wonder what would be the reason that the virus came to the US so late when they have so many people going back and forth to China and those countries are kind of close to each other.
1078  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should we adopt Automata World Government on: April 26, 2020, 07:50:41 AM
I am thinking of a new kind of a government ruled by autonomous super-intelligent Quantum Conscious A.I

As cryptopian anarchic mechanic heads
What do you think of this
Are you in favor of it? Or not? Not sure?

Automata Hive will change how politics works
With this, we can assign trustworthy and maybe the best leaders in the future of a One World Hexagonic System.

That's totally not a good idea.
Automated robots that would form a government would need to be programmed. Those who are going to program the robots might have one sided opinions in some topic thus they would make governments based on their own beliefs.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: April 26, 2020, 07:48:11 AM
I don’t play so often, and probably from this I started to have problems with control. It seems like this is called tilt, when you want to recoup at all costs.
Sometimes I fall into such a state after a loss or a series of losses, I really want to win back and I spend more money than I was going to.
Thank God this does not last long. After several subsequent losses, I quit.

The key in not losing control is to play small amounts of money.
If you bet a lot of money then the tilt becomes bigger and then it comes the addition as you will want to get your money back at any cost.
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: The Coronavirus and A Deflationary Crisis on: April 23, 2020, 08:41:16 AM
The whole idea of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is that they have totally different characteristics from fiat currencies.
As Bitcoin is resistant to inflation this means that people are not going to lose the value of their money at all.
What would be the case of creating an inflationary cryptocurrency? It won't provide any positive impact to the market - at least at the current period of time.
