Is there plans for merchants to accept NLG directly without converting to Euro?
That is exactly what we at Nocks are working on  Both will be possible, converting in Euro or to accept NLG directly without converting to Euro with Nocks Pay (that is worked on), if i am correct? Right that is correct, although we promote not to convert to EUR. This is also much cheaper for merchants anyways. This will take Gulden to a new level but it must happen soon because the Euro zone is becoming a mess. |

Gulden sounds a lot more serious and expensive than Guldencoin in my opinion. This is very good because Gulden is a high-quality project reflecting serious ambitions concerning expanding user convenience, decentralization of monetary matters and technological crypto currency innovation.
That's a hundred percent true, eliminating the -coin adds some sort of finesse to the project due to the fact that basically every single crypto has oin oin oin in the end. That is right. However, I'm a bit worried about the practical implications: if you want to attract more Dutch people into the coin, they might get confused. For example, when you see a sticker in a retailshop that mentions "Guldens accepted over here", I guess some people will try to pay with old Guldens - the old currency of the Netherlands before the Euro xD As long there real silver ill buy them all =] As for the legal part, i would not consider removing the 'coin' part. I like the idea of changing to Gulden but I also have the same thought? Has the team researched if this will be a problem and is Gulden not reserved by the government. What about all the stickers people purchased that shows guldencoin. |

Why the fuck aren't people dumping, it's the weekend?!?!
Actually I stopped trading because the whole trading strategy changed. Time to watch and learn for me now. So, I decided just to buy but at a very, very low buy whoever dumps something speed... There has to be people that are desperate to sell there coins. Last weekend it dropped to 320 and this weekend it's remained above 350. |

Good to see more coins being removed from bittrex, it's happening slowly as expected and putting a little more pressure on the price too. I would still keep my buys under 350 and expect more bargains this weekend.

Well, I guess we all need a little pick-me-up today and I like to remind you guys something I said way back when: It goes to show how short-sighted most of the Bitcoin-community is. No idea what the actual implications and possibilities are for cryptocurrency. Bitcoin became lazy and 99% of the altcoins don't offer much threat to Bitcoin. Bitcoin hasn't been innovative for too long and now NLG is being hated on for a low trade volume, but nobody seems to understand that a huge trade volume is useless without a good foundation to build from. Besides that, we're talking about an altcoin that is not even four months old. 4 months old. Yes. That's right. All this good stuff you've read in the last 145 pages, has been accomplished in under 4 months. Imagine another 4 or even 8 months to complete the year and see where this coin is. Come back in 8 months if you have no faith in this coin to see if it actually went somewhere.
Guldencoin has learned from the mistakes of others and implements functions and releases software that benefit the users and the entrepreneurs, not the daily trader to pump the coin and let it die. Guldencoin will be the first altcoin in the world that will actually be used successfully in daily life as form of payment, along side being traded. And if that is for a BTC volume of 50 or 10. I really don't care. Dutch making history, once again. Because everyone else is looking at making (more) money and not the actual world-impact of a proper altcoin.
Nobody cares about a chat function in your wallet or so called full-on full-fledged anonymity. I want a coin that is fast and secure and even Bitcoin is slower and non-working half the time in comparison to the Guldencoin-systems. So anyone that hates on NLG for being a low-trade-volume coin or 'oh this is just another pre-mine dump'. Look into the actual details and the proof in the wallets, the strength and unity of this community, the stability of the price and all the updates. It has all the trademarks of an ACTUAL open-source movement. We all want to make money, but where is the f%^%@ ambition within this cryptocommunity to actually write history and become a useful and successful alternative to fiat and actually give people an option to sidestep the banks and give those banks a little less power. A coin that doesn't need a price of $600 a pop to become a success, a stable price of two bits would be enough in Guldencoin's case. An actual coin for and by the people, much clichι, but nonetheless very true.
But hey, just my two cents.

Most of my other shares have only increased 10-20% in the last year. Guldencoin has been my best performing investment and I don't plan on selling. Keeping it for real world use and a backup for if there is a much broader Greek issue in the world, at least I have access to my own funds in guldencoin and can still use it to buy food. I also own some physical gold and silver. |

Good to see the pump was a small one which again shows this coin has a good value representation and stable.
