Gulden will see +10000 before the year end. Accumulation has been taking place between 2800 and 4000 for a good while.
Considering the two major releases and the return of the new iOS wallet it's going to get hairy real quickly.
It could dip into the 2000s one more time before the next major move for the currency. Stay on the sidelines or buy, sellers will be losers.
Hope you are right Litesire is a old poster and one of the only ones I don't consider a troll. He was right about Gulden many times where other posters want you to dump your coins. |

Gulden Set To Implement PoW² In July: Leading Developer
Looks like somebody lost his bet. Show me the money litesire, show me the money! Can the community on slack confirm if testing on PoW² has started? July is coming fast. I will honor the bet investeerder, but i do encourage the team to take 2 months to test.   You used to give good feedback on the other Gulden announcement pages about trading. Can you explain why coins on Poloniex are moving up when bitcoin price moves up but going down when bitcoin price goes down. Looking at the Gulden yesterday the opposite took place? |

I will keep investing in Gulden until the team has given me reasonable doubt not to trust them anymore.
Most of the negatives have said there won't be a whitepaper and prime will never be developed. The devs did say there will be a whitepaper (at one time) and prime is the next project. We will see who is telling the truth come May. I am expecting a half truth of no whitepaper but prime will be developed.

Development is slow but steady. I see no problem in that.
I do have some doubts about the pre-mine and the lack of openness about that by the dev team. I know they have this page where you can see what they spend, but not on what and there is also over 600BTC paid for shares that is completely off the radar.
When I see now that there are two more dev's (both friends and family) it sort of looks like they are spending a lot more on the same stuff (friends creating app's). Other projects do this as well (like Groestl), only in their own time, at their own costs and without any premine. Fact is projects like Groestl produce even higher quality and way more lines of code. This team surely does it's job right, but way more expensive and at a much lower pace. In my opinion Gulden will have way better chances if they start hiring some good PR in stead of more slow coders.
And then there is the issue of the ETF approval that is almost sure to go through this Saturday. I know officially it will be announced on Monday, but the default term actually ends this Saturday. Effectively it will be approved by default if it is not explicitly declined before the end of tomorrow. I'm sure a lot of people are going to speculate on ETF approval this weekend. This could easily boost BTC price above $ 2000. If that happens, Gulden will surely drop sub 750 SAT. So I for one am seriously thinking of temporarily selling out on this one for now and buy back at pre summer 2016 prices.
Just my two cents.
Development was slow to start with Gulden but it's not slow anymore, I don't know any coin that releases faster. It was first coin to do 0.13 code base update along with 9 other innovative features in one release. No coin is faster then the current development Gulden has going. I did have a look at GRS during the 51% attack scandal and all i see is copying everything bitcoin does, no innovation like Gulden has. I do agree GRS does copy bitcoin code faster then most other coins. |

When is halving? Extra blocks bring extra coins and rewards was not reduced this is why I remove buy support. Let coin price go lower to make up for more supply and support at 1500.
When coin go to 1500 I put more support. a whole 0.0001 btc of it? With the projects the dev team have this year it is a good price today. I have purchased a new Sony Xperia XZ to replace my old iPhone 5s because not having Android and using Gulden is a waste. Since owning a Nvidia shield TV I am really enjoying the Android OS over iOS and was another reason to go Android. |

It seems a extremely expensive mcap wise.
The market will decide if the update is good or not. Price goes down then community think update is a pile of trash, if it goes up then community think it's good. I have buy orders under 2000 sat. I don't think traders will want to harm Gulden because it's one of the few coins that can make crypto go viral in the Netherlands, if traders dump a real project like Gulden then devs would rather keep scamming then put all this effort into doing work. |

It was a nice run Gulden but we all know the roadmap was always fake to cause a pump. You did a couple easy updates and it worked well so congratulations to the team for making the bagholders rich.
Price is plummeting as the bagholders also realise 1.6.0 is horse shit!
Danslip is a known troll who wants to create fear to get cheaper coins. This is the one team in crypto that has never lied and always delivered on projects, you will eat your words again! |

I still own a few Gulden which I bought long ago. I depreciated it because I never thought the coin will break through. If I look at the current market cap I was wrong. I did not follow the developments. What has caused this massive price explosion?
I can still kick myself for dumping under 1000sat which was still 220% profit for me at the time. My only hope is that 1.6.0 keeps being delayed and the price continues to fall below 5000sat. My first purchases in 2014 is up more then 15 times in Euro value. I am not complaining, Gulden has been a bagholders dream. I bought again at 940 over the weekend and it's at 975 today.
Above was my last purchase which I thought was a high amount to pay at the time but I took the risk, this is still 600% increase for me and I am not selling. The coin spiked too quickly like it did in 2014 but today those people who bought at the peak in 2014 are also up 5 times. The same will go for those who bought at 13000 , the coins price will beat this and go much higher in the future. The team has always delivered and this is why the price is more then 1200% up from the beginning of September. |

Im my opinion i can not say that gulden is a good investment but i have a suggestion to you.. betterto check always the coin market cap which is you can see all altocoin there choose top 20 altcoin.. and that is a good investment to choose..
Investment is subjective, Do you invest in a top 20 coin and still expect a 1000% increase or invest in a coin like Gulden that is very undervalued for what it offers? We are talking about a coin that is not even a $million in marketcap. There is more chance of of Gulden going to 10 million then ETH going to 10 billion. |

I have no idea about the technical part of Gulden. When I heard of it, it was pretty clear to me that this was a name-trick. The Gulden was the former fiat money of The Netherlands, and was in general considered a strong currency (like the Deutsch Mark). It has been replaced by the Euro, and since many years, the Dutch are becoming more and more Euro-critical. So a "digital version" of their beloved former Gulden may have a nationalistic and nostalgic appeal.
My impression was that this was the main "value proposition" of the Gulden: to seduce nostaligics into it, as there are quite a bit of them. But it may be that the Gulden has also really something to offer, apart from sentiment ; I don't know. But I would be seriously wary about the fact that the name has been chosen to play on a sentimental chord.
Do you know there is a book out there that list all the currencies that have existed since a certain point in history (is does count a long way back, centuries). The dutch Gulden was actually the one currency that didn't fell in 2000 years, but we gave it away for Euro. Gulden was longest existing currency that didn't go boom and lasted hundreds of years. We will rise again It was my.main concern when starting to buy Gulden in 2014 that this team do the GULDEN name justice. They have managed to stay going for over 2 years. I like Waterloodown who run development and MaNI who have always been honest in their posts. 1.6.0 will tell a story if they can bring Dutch flare and innovation to crypto. It will also set a standard we can expect for their main Project PRIME that comes after this |

My first purchases in 2014 is up more then 15 times in Euro value. I am not complaining, Gulden has been a bagholders dream. I bought again at 940 over the weekend and it's at 975 today.
Your 940sat purchase is turning out to be a good. 9.1% up in value. 12.6% up since my purchase. hehe After 10 days I am up 20% on my last purchase. People in crypto look for these profits in a day and end losing. With Gulden long term investors and traders make money. Up 25% today and since the user posted the coins value has gone up over 340% and it's been very steady unlike other pumps you see. |
