so what about the few that made a 100 post after dec 20th? i forgot who but it was listed somewhere in this thread scrat was so late on making the list he prob didnt check good u take them off the u have a whole different set of numbers if u guys are gonna pay the scamers u should just split the 100 btc with  everyone that entered the raffle.

Someone mentioned that some didn't have the amount of posts in time according to posting history to which I pointed out I went through the thread when users where pruned and all had 100 posts at the time, so some may have deleted posts/threads in which they participated deleted after the final list was made.

Which scammers? Can't see none in the list that hasn't respected the terms of the raffle.
107  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: January 30, 2014, 10:24:11 AM
Ok, Here is the list that took me a couple hours compiling.

I went through and checked users posts and based it on users posts, specifically what type of posts they made where they were made as well as their content (ie. one liners etc.)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/huhhwl74wh56iwj/Coinroll-raffle.docx
Google-docs doesn't show colors? Download it and open.

Also, I will recheck miner2020 patters later on tonight. Sorry, wife takes priority. lol

Legend:
Green = Real user
No Color = I couldn't say for sure so I left them as Real but in Neutral.
Red = I saw a consistent pattern of where the users posted to what thread and content.

My estimation by what I saw in the Red posts and threads is that about 80% of the accounts I flagged as Red are controlled by 1 user.
Either way , just something that somebody can look over.

I am not saying I am 100% right..., but throwing my analysis out there.

Thank you.

so this guy is wrong then one guy didnt control 80% of accounts

Indeed. 80% seems excessive. Even if we find patterns, the problem is that this raffle was advertised and mentioned on IRC. Probably a bunch of people who signed and did the minimum just to participate in the raffle. There's no way to tell for sure a single user vs one who'd sign with multiple account. Plus there is no terms against multiple accounts. All accounts on the list met the terms of the raffle and made the required amount of posts. Not letting them in would betray the wording of the raffle's terms. This is why I want to suggest that if another raffle is made, terms be done differently to try and reduce multi-account. But there's not much that can be done about this raffle.
108  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: January 30, 2014, 05:15:51 AM
Coinroll.it is in no way responsible for this. The terms, which include the escrow with John K., were posted for everyone to see. Anyone who puts anything negative about coinroll.it in their signature is either ignorant, or an asshole.

Coinroll is responsible, and i think the "bad guys" are them, in first place, they appear like 10 days late, then john k appears and nobody of coinroll is here to say even a hello. they act like that just because they "think" they are giving too much bcause the btc went up?? lol, btc could have gone to 5 usd instead of go up .. so as i said, the wrong attitude belong to others.

The list of eligible participants is there, the secrets are disclosed, the corresponding list exists. If Scrat can't come back to sign on the final list, John K. can go ahead as an escrow. Scrat doesn't think Coinroll is giving too much or care about the price having gone up. He knew prior to starting to raffle and paid the whole amount UPFRONT. Now that some time has elapsed, John K. will need to make a decision about how long to wait and when to go ahead and distribute without Scrat.

Scrat already gave the secret to select winners and cleared people under 100 posts on the thread back in December. He probably forgot he had to sign the final list over the month since this raffle has started. He's probably completely unaware of the current situation and think John K. will distribute as soon as he comes back (Last I saw Scrat, John K. hadn't been around for a while and we were waiting on him. Now John K. is back and waiting for a signed list.) Normally Scrat isn't needed around that much.

I'm very sorry about the delays and wish I could do something more. I can assure you Scrat doesn't think he's giving too much. He wouldn't be able to get back the BTC and keep them regardless as he already sent them to John K. months ago.

Any participant may remove the signature. The list was already pruned of ineligible accounts in December and should be final. Sorry that it's taking so long to process payments for winners. The BTC is still at the escrow address and ready to be sent by John K. as soon as he considers he can't wait for Scrat any longer. It's been almost a month now and I'll be contacting John K. regarding that matter.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: January 30, 2014, 01:01:11 AM
really? even if one user had 80% of the account in this raffle? coinroll.it prob did rig the raffle if they keep that list

There is absolutely no way to prove/verify/eliminate those accounts vs legitimate accounts with 100% accuracy, on top of being no rules against it. What is Scrat supposed to do? Ban every account barely making the 100 posts requirements in time because they all look like duplicate? It was advertised on IRC and it was already a big raffle at the time, there's probably many people who signed up expressively for the the raffle doing the bare minimum.

The issue is the same for every other signature raffle. Sockpuppets are probably entering them to monetize their post count. Nobody complains. What's the difference, really? I don't think that's very fair to Scrat. He paid the 100 BTC upfront too so if something happened to him and the casino made a loss of its bankroll, participants could be paid.

I'll suggest to Scrat if he does another raffle to only allow accounts that were created before the raffle when he comes back. But it's just the same as every other raffle, not going to prevent multiple accounts. Hopefully a fairer system can be found for future signature advertising to deal with that.

You can join Coinroll's support channel, #coinroll on freenode. I'm moderator on that channel. I'll make note of demands/suggestions for Coinroll and future raffles.

Scrat probably forgot about the raffle with his sickness and then work. He's supposed to be working on a brand new version of Coinroll with tons of improvements.

It's been almost a month. John K. as the escrow should just proceed and pay winnings. He's there to settle things if problems arise as the escrow.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: January 29, 2014, 10:39:01 PM
John K. as an escrow can resolve it as a dispute. I am unsure what happened to Scrat but will contact John K. regarding this matter.

All participants/winners can remove their signature. The list is final.

All winners, feel free to add #coinroll on freenode to your list of favorite channels to stay updated.
111  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: January 18, 2014, 11:04:57 PM
There was no rules about either multiple accounts, post quality or trust rating. I believe the current posts on the thread are meant to be final entries and no more will be pruned.

Although considering the situation, it might be good to add certain rules such as only accounts which existed prior to the thread starting and no negative trust for the next raffle, should there be one.

Considering Scrat doesn't look like he's going to come around soon, I'd recommend John K. to recalculate himself the winners using the secrets and to issue payments as Scrat is not around to sign the list of winners.

"You may participate if you have less than 100 posts, but you must have 100 posts or more by December 20th 2013 or you will not be eligible."

Not January 1st. When the final list was being reviewed, I'm pretty sure everyone had 100 posts. Doesn't matter if some have been deleted afterward.

I went over the final list before January 1st and everyone had 100 posts or more at the time. I am pretty sure the list is accurate.

No rules against duplicate accounts either. Not possible to prove/disprove duplicates anyway. So the list of eligible accounts should be final. I don't think that will change.

As for Scrat, he showed up for a short time on IRC. He's had flu complication, pneumonia. I haven't heard from him in a while. If he doesn't show up soon, John K. isn't around often but he still comes to the forum. He can distribute winnings and I'm sure he can be trusted.

I'm confident every winner will receive their winnings.

As zurg said, john k himself can verify if that "deleted post" even exist, because yangwao made that list like 10 days late or more.

All non-eligible accounts where deleted from the thread long before yangwao made that list. Only Scrat could delete posts in that thread. I checked it shortly afterward and as far as I recall, it looked right.

Scrat is absent for medical reasons. He should be back shortly. In any case, John K. has the BTC and the two secrets match the hashes for the secrets, so BTC can be distributed if it takes too long for Scrat to verify winners and sign.

117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice really (provably)fair? Well, it isn't. on: December 06, 2013, 09:59:42 PM
is it suggested to change the client seed every roll?  and the number that looks like xxxxxxx-xxxx, which number should I be changing, both of them or just the number on the left?

Any change to the client seed will do the trick. Either in part or in whole. They know what's your next client seed if you don't change it. They know the secret seed. They provide the third server seed and can calculate what their provided server seed will roll with your known client seed and their secret seed. Thus they can try multiple server seeds and give one which gives the roll they want. They can't do this if you changed the client seed before the roll as the client seed will then not be the one the expected and calculated with.

Depends on if you trust them or not. If client seed is not changed before every roll, the "provably fair" check on the seeds doesn't mean anything. I'd recommend changing it before every roll until they update their seed system as it is the only way for rolls to be actually provably fair as it is right now.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice really (provably)fair? Well, it isn't. on: December 06, 2013, 12:00:58 AM
yes, client side generation on each roll would also do the trick, although one would need to audit the script and check the version they are served each time they open PrimeDice.

It is much better to predisclose a hash of the secret seed and then let the client set its own client seed. That way the casino can't temper rolls as they can't change secret and neither the client can because they don't know the secret but they'll know if it was changed afterward. It makes things easy to audit and doesn't require a change of client seed every bet.

That dynamic server seed PrimeDice adds on each roll has no business being there. That seeds hash to the correct roll does not make a game provably fair. The order seeds are generated does. If one party can know/expect to know all seeds in a roll and provide one dynamically on each roll, they can temper with results.

Unless the user changes the client seed before each roll, it's not provably fair. The roll verification doesn't mean anything.
119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is PrimeDice really (provably)fair? on: December 05, 2013, 07:41:10 AM
Primedice still has not changed to nonce betting. Been quite a bit of time already since the change was claimed "coming". Doing similar to what bit777 did, claims change was coming for provably fair but instead just increased marketing and left his games NOT provably fair at all.

To be fair it's completely provably fair, people just have to change their client seed.

It's a bit like Peerbet's instant & non instant games. If people trust PrimeDice, don't bother changing the client seed, if they do, change it.

Primedice IS provably fair, just not as easily provably fair as it could be.

Yes, but Just-Dice and Coinroll both have a method where changing client seed is not required for each bet and it works. Would make PrimeDice better to just remove the server seed and predisclose the secret's hash. That way they can't tempers roll by giving whatever server seed they want for each roll. They theoretically can get any result they want currently if you don't change server seed on each roll.
