I trashed that topic because in my view, the only purpose that the deleted topic serves is to get additional exposure to your unmoderated topic (since all you do is bump and lock the topic ). You could have easily put the complaint about the self-moderated topic in the OP of the unmoderated topic. I don't like setting the precedent of allowing this because then every unmoderated topic would also be allowed an additional topic to advertise it.
Would it be allowed if the post did not include a link to the unmoderated thread? yes, although the best way is to put your warning about the self-moderated topic in the OP of the unmoderated topic. That way people who want to participate in unmoderated discussions can easily do so, and it doesn't look like you're trying to double your exposure by having second topic to advertise for the first one. |

Just downloaded this. I had no idea of what I was missing. Reading through this forum is much more enjoyable now. But I mainly go on this thread on my phone, so I'll have to install the slow and laggy tampermonkey browser  Firefox for android is also an option. I packaged the script as an addon for it. |

I did a cursory check of the first page of his posts. All I see is him endorsing "racist" policies and putting forth (not necessary correct or non-misleading) facts about certain protected groups. That said, there's nothing there that would get him banned, but I do remember deleting some of his posts for valid reasons (off topic, insubstantial). 1. I do believe this guy's behaviour is appalling, disgusting, and disgraceful. There's a point when "freedom of speech" becomes "verbal abuse".
IANAL, but what he has posted is nowhere near verbal abuse territory. Usually verbal abuse (the type that gets you prosecuted) requires specific threats of violence. Advocating for discrimination against them doesn't count. |

Few things to mention here :
1. Your topic should be moved to Securities instead of loans Technically loans are securities, and from the lender's perspective, loans are an investment. I moved it to securities because OP advertised it as an "investment" rather than a loan. |
