I know I'm making too much topics, but I can't find a simillar one Cheesy

So I'v gathered a bit less then 0.3BTC, is there a smart way to invest them in?

I was also wondering how safe is bitmit?
does it have some kind of a costumer protection?
what if I order a usb and get a brick  Grin
Do not spend them or buy anything with them! Save them on a paper wallet and see what they are worth in five years. If us enthusiasts are right then they could be worth thousands of dollars. The best investment in the world for the last five years has been bitcoins. I believe it will also be the best investment for the next five.

interesting Smiley
can you tell me what is a paper wallet? Cheesy
I would love to. What allows you to send bitcoins from a Bitcoin account is something called a private key. This is basically just a large number. If you write this number down on a piece of paper or print it on paper, you have what we call a paper wallet. Then you save that piece of paper somewhere safe like in a safe or in a book (if you don't have a safe) or in your parent's safe or whatever. Then you can sell your bitcoins when you feel like it and you don't have to worry about backup or encryption or your computer being stolen. But you have to be able to keep that paper safe in order to keep your bitcoins.

Oh and btw. you have 300 mBTC, not 0.3 BTC. The first one sounds cooler, right?

There has been a lot of hype about inputs.io lately. I have not gotten to know it, though. Why all the hype? What are its positive features?
105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Inputs.io possible security breach on: November 04, 2013, 09:06:28 PM
Please enlighten us how Inputs.io works. I thought it worked like Blockchains' Mywallet?

"Losing all your money" is difficult w/ bitcoin.
Truer words were never spoken.

I surely hope that Thorkil (Sword Smith) accepts my humblest apology.
Accepted. We should discuss best practices for this so I and others would know exactly how to act to avoid these accusations.

Location: Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town, Republic of South Africa.
Flag was designed, made and delivered by reddit user frankros whom I have been in contact with. He lives in RSA.
110  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoins to the South Pole! on: November 04, 2013, 04:15:28 PM
It seems the funds are raised, right?

Will the flag be produced and delivered in time?

As I have stated earlier this is out of my hands. The reddit user frankros is on it: http://www.reddit.com/user/frankros

It is in his hands now and I believe he will deliver.

oh, allright. I've been following loosely on reddit.

Sorry for not reading this thread thoroughly.

kudos to you for the name of your trading platform, btw (it is a trading platform, right?)
I am just a European bitcoin broker and adviser. And yesterday I was told that I had the best looking physical wallets in the world Smiley

can't quite make out what I'm looking at. Some sort of bit-bills?
It is a paper wallet made on a cold computer printed with a photo printer and sealed with some special tape bought from bitcoinpaperwallet.com. An excellent way for the tech savvy and non-tech savvy to store bitcoins. The barrier of entry to bitcoin investments is zero with this product Smiley

And.... we have a flag. Reddit user Frankros says that it will be delivered at the hotel within one hour.

Whitetoo made the Bitcoin bumper sticker which is going to the South Pole. She worked really fast and delivered a great result. I will definitely contact her again if I need something designed.

Total number of coins:

April 9 2013: 11m
November 4 2013: 12m

ATH on mtgox: 266 USD/BTC
Required on mtgox for all time high cap. 266/12*11=243 USD/BTC

There has been some confusion on the name. His name is "Fayçal Hanneche" but I have accidently written it as "Faycal Hanneche" on the sticker. The letter "ç" does not exist in Scandinavia where Fayçal has lived for many years so he has "internationalized" his name. The "international" version is Faysal, not Faycal.
