101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴How to mine Sia Coin using graphic cards? | Beginner's guide🔥🔥 on: September 03, 2018, 11:50:43 AM
Yeah, tutorial for mining SIA with graphic card should be something like this:

1. Take out graphic card(s)
    Then.........

2. Sell graphic card(s)
3. Buy ASIC (A1 or Obelisk)
4. Connect and power on ASIC
5. Configure ASIC with pool and wallet address
6. (Maybe) profit.

Hard lol, you make me can't stop laughing, bud. Nice one!  Kiss

You could make this more dramatic, create some space from point (1), And then the best part should start from a point (2). By the way, big thank buddy to make this day awesome!  Wink
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴How to mine Sia Coin using graphic cards? | Beginner's guide🔥🔥 on: September 03, 2018, 11:07:07 AM
Like I said before, not everyone have enough money to buy ASIC's, so they can TRY this, using graphic cards  Roll Eyes

Only moron would TRY to mine SC with GPU and lose money instead mining something that is profitable.

Those morons may now shutting-down the rig after read your post!  Cheesy

But come on bud! Don't to be easy to call someone as a moron, maybe out there one or two ppl trying to follow OP's guide  Grin. They are not a moron for sure. They just too curious then fall into the wrong hole! I'm sure, next time OP will make some useful guide.  Wink
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Merchants Adopting Coins on: September 03, 2018, 08:23:11 AM
I think this is a good reason for merchants to accept crypto payment.

As we know that crypto transaction is irreversible, that makes merchants safe from the chargeback as happened on credit card fraud transaction.

And to avoid the fluctuation, it can be handled by payment gateway such as BitPay. Am I right?

But maybe yes, the one only problem is, fast transaction needed.

I never heard about coins which used in any big mechants on my country. They are not well focus about using crypto as a way of payment. Which country had using nano, monero and etc. Hoping to be more bigger and enter in the different countries merchants. Online must be better for easy way of transaction.

Keep updated

I use crypto payment on a few merchants (as I said in my previous comment). Same as you, online/offline merchant in my country isn't familiar enough with crypto payment. Just a few merchants that accept crypto payment.  Cheesy
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Why do the VEGAs on the PSU without the Mobo, use more power than when on mobo? on: September 03, 2018, 07:50:50 AM
on different load, psu have different efficiency

Also your efficiency varies depending on how much load you are pulling from the PSU. You pull too little or too much and your efficiency is worse.

If the PSU are identical then maybe one is older than the other and less efficient due to capacitors aging.

Yeah, I agree with both people above. That's more like PSUs efficiency issue. Your EVGA G3 (80 PLUS Gold rated) with the efficiency - 90% in 115V nor  92% at 220V-240V (AC). How about the other one?  have you checked its efficiency?

So this is your rig scheme, you were powering your mobo using EVGA G3 (850Watt) plus three cards (VEGA), and the other two cards (VEGA) powered with 750Watt PSU (we don't know the type of this PSU). Is it right? And how about the Risers powering scheme? How do you measure the power that is being used? Using physical tools (Power meter) or through Software?
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴How to mine Sia Coin using graphic cards? | Beginner's guide🔥🔥 on: September 03, 2018, 04:42:49 AM
I understand this part: (and I still appreciate it)

Like I said before, not everyone have enough money to buy ASIC's.......

But the problems are, you will bring the people who can't buy an ASICs (I assume that they were doing mining for their life - for some profit) for doing what's on your guide. Then as I said before, will be better made a relevant guide for them. Something makes sense to do than this:

.... so they can TRY this, using graphic cards  Roll Eyes
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 non-mini (maxi?) on: September 02, 2018, 05:30:19 PM
The hashrate might be lower to 40k sol/s  or above and I think if what specs posted on their website should be the same as what is there.

~snip~

Well Z9 mini (batch 1) was oreclocable by 50-60%.
I doubt that this would be the case with Z9 [maxi], but expect some potential.

Yeah, I've also read something similar on Reddit, someone been doing OC on the Z9 (mini) to 12.5 - 16.5 K Sol/s with high temps (it may go above 70 - it seems without cooler).

If it is about potential, might yes, 50% increase on OC mode can be reached, but sooner or later it will cause problems, let say its fan, or maybe the board and also other parts. I can't imagine how noisy is it.

pne thing of note, they rec APW7 for it, which is 1800W.

At default Z9 maxi is at 1150W, so 1800W is needed to have a room for potential overclock,or, at least, this is my read.

Yeah, makes sense, but I think they just want to sell their product.  Grin
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 non-mini (maxi?) on: September 02, 2018, 07:35:44 AM

As my personal experience with their product, S1, and S2 (it's a too old experience?  Cheesy). Yes, 40 K Sol/s might the default hashrate (as on their release said 40.8 k Sol/s +/- 5%) it may be reached with OC (more reasonable), Or maybe 40.8 K Sol/s + 2-3% (in OC mode) but it will produce more noise and heat than default, the default has noisy enough.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Whats the biggest mining motherboard? on: September 02, 2018, 07:05:32 AM
If you have a similar type, brand nor almost identical type & brand as shown on xxcsu pics, I agree with xxcsu that's not a big deal with a lot of PCIe slot (if you know what to do).

But that will be different while you have a random type of GPUs (sometimes brand also affect) <=== I experienced on this case (trust me!) I can solve it, but that's not too easy to do (again, Trust me!).  Grin

It depends on you OP, but of those three, I'll choose the last (ASRock H110 Pro BTC+)  Wink
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rig won't turn on when the graphic cards are attached to the motherboard...! on: September 02, 2018, 06:43:21 AM
Well, in my own rig the 3 cards doesn't work if you didn't put the 2 molex cable to the motherboard so I think you need to put the 2 molex cable to the motherboard.
Anyway, my motherboard is h110 btc pro so I think h81 motherboard looks the same as h110 btc pro.

Yeah, that's right, I've read a few threads about it  (As I said above - that's also happened to H81), but I forget which threads. I was also using H81, but I never faced the same similar things, plugged three cards without two extra Molex connected isn't makes my rig won't boot. But OP should try it!
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Nusapool.com] | Mining Pool Local Indonesia | Open For Miners Around The World on: September 01, 2018, 02:33:19 PM
A few (PPLNS) pool's isn't fully working yet, right? I tried Ubiq, but it directed to Setflow, no active page on B2G (I haven't tested all). But overall, Pretty good enough interface, moreover its color, it's soft and not hurting my eyes. Maybe next time I'll try to mine on this pool.

Is this poll for eliminating one of the payment schemes that already exist? Or may both will be active?

Good luck to you all!  Wink
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴How to mine Sia Coin using graphic cards? | Beginner's guide🔥🔥 on: September 01, 2018, 01:16:18 PM
Personally, I appreciate it! Thumb-up!

But I also agree with a few comments above, maybe too late to make that tutorial, it will worth if you write it before SIA's ASIC exist (but may not, if it only for beginners guideline). But still will be better to make something relevant, e.g., some tutorial to mine any coins that still worth using the device that used on the tutorials that you made.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rig won't turn on when the graphic cards are attached to the motherboard...! on: September 01, 2018, 12:38:07 PM
Your explanation isn't specific enough to describe what actually your problem is. Does it happen with one card only plugged? As you describe in this sentence:

Now i have attached 1 of the sapphire nitro rx 580 graphic cards to the motherboard as well as to the power supply......

Or you have plugged one card while you are doing Windows installation? And everything goes smoothly at that time.

You should explain more about this:  (related to the previous explanation) I felt a bit confused about that.

..but if i connect the usb riser to the motherboard the system wont turn on....!

Let's try to giving you some suggestion.

Have you checked that you been plugging power from PSU to your riser?

When you were turning on your rig, are you using the card as the display? Or iGPU?

Change PCIe setting to Gen1 or Gen2 on bios. Don't forget to add extra power (the 2 Molex power to your mobo - near PCIe socket), Yes, that only required when we are using more than three cards, but in some case, that thing causing our rig won't boot (I forgot which thread that discusses it). Also, you can try CMOS reset (through battery or jumper) Good Luck!  Wink
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine my altcoin? on: August 31, 2018, 02:30:39 PM
Thanks for the link @leowonderful

You can find the solo mining removal internal code removal in that release log: https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.13.0

But is it possible to solo mine with your own hardware without an ASIC? For example your video card?

With your own coin (as you explained above) of course you can, even CPU can do that (solo mining). Of course, it will be a different story with Bitcoin that has grown [on its difficulty and nethash] (you can do that, but you got nothing) -in basic theory-

But as that release said:
Quote
Removal of internal miner
As CPU mining has been useless for a long time, the internal miner has been removed in this release, and replaced with a simpler implementation for the test framework.

Back to the primary topic that you were asking.
Have you tried to mine your coin directly to qt-wallet? (have you run the qt-wallet? just asking  Wink)
What hardware are you using?
Also, you can try to build your own mining pool at your local machine or maybe server (if you have it) then add your own coin on it.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are you still believe in ico's?? on: August 31, 2018, 05:44:43 AM
I can't say for sure that I believe or not on ICOs generally. ICO project is an easy way of scamming people, a few ICO been scam isn't mean other ICOs project will do the same. I believe in the concept, teams (not really be my consideration) and fact (the most important thing).

How important we know the concept they have?
I doubt the project with "too good to be true" concept. That's why we need to know as much as possible about the projects through their whitepaper, media, etc.

What guarantee we have?
They (ICOs Project) wouldn't give us a real guarantee about the project. So we need to find it!

I follow the DAEX Blockchain project, I didn't interest much on its concept (but it's good enough idea). They listed their coin on the market first, then open Public Sale after it. This is what makes me interesting on this project, already have value, already listed in the market. That's more like the guarantee for me.

So, I still believe in some ICO project.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Far is the ETH Mining from Us? New Miners Come Here on: August 25, 2018, 04:08:41 AM
Pandaminer is a professional Ethereum GPU miner. This is a low threshold mining product is a risky investment. But cryptocurrency market is all about taking risk. I think it is an innovative project.

But the point is, you put that risk at your hand, nor you'll put it on other people hand? The "risk" that you were talking about as simple as that.  Wink
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Far is the ETH Mining from Us? New Miners Come Here on: August 24, 2018, 08:57:35 PM
So, we need to put our miner at your place? That's how it works. Am I right? Then what makes we can trust you that our machine safe with Y'all? moreover, we pay you in front  Huh (no offense)
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MEW >token>help on: August 22, 2018, 03:19:09 AM
Have that token listed on the market? (tradeable)
If it not, you almost can do nothing to cashing out it. Except you try to find someone who believes in the future of that tokens and wants to buy it from you.  Cheesy

Or may I misunderstand what you mean, you have Tokens, and you didn't have some amount of ETH for GAS?  Grin
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Give Up on Your Dreams on: August 21, 2018, 06:11:33 AM
It just about the limits.
What makes the limit is our own, we should know when to start and when to stop. Stopped sometimes needed, giving up is different from stopped to start the new one that better. Never Give Up on Your Dreams, yeah I agree with this, everything started from your dreams.  Wink
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you have found a scammer??? on: August 21, 2018, 05:59:24 AM
I don't know how I got dragged into this, but I've never participated in a signature campaign, and I've certainly never scammed anyone.

I've also never used telegram. If someone on there has the same username, it's an imposter.

I'd be willing to contact the signature campaign manager and tell him the same, if it would help.
Hello buddy, I also thought so, that's why first of all I wrote you a PM. And then tried to undertand what I have to do by making this topic. So contact them if it's not hard to do. Thank's  everyone who have participated in this Topic. I found the answer of my question.

Ah...glad to see all this has fixed peacefully.
So, the only prove from the suspect is the Ethereum wallet that used, right? But I think s/he made new address every time s/he's doing something similar.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you have found a scammer??? on: August 20, 2018, 02:22:44 PM
I really doubt that a legendary user gonna risk his account for a Telegram bounty, I am not sure but probably someone else used his name and  your Telegram user combination but provided his own Ethereum address, the only way to prove that this legendary member himself did that is to associate the Ethereum address used in bounty with him by finding a post he did with that address.

I found before that my Bitcointalk user was used in some Twitter campaign without me know of it,  scammers usually do that if the bounty requires high-rank user.

Most managers now use proof of authentication to avoid this kind of scams, and I think all managers should start doing the same.

Nice that you think alternative, because have never thought that his account also can be used by other person.

Will be better if you were contacting him directly (a Legendary member that you was shown the name here) ask him about what happened to you. How if he's not the one who's using your data, that's will going bad.
