101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: July 25, 2018, 04:32:28 PM
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?
I can really stay long without playing gambling because i only play gambling if i am only nored or for leisure time and i do not consider gambling as a hobby, so i control myself from not playing in gambling in a long time. Getting addicted in gambling will be hard for you to control yourself in gambling, so better limit yourself while playing.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: July 25, 2018, 04:23:27 PM
Are you picky with ICOs?
Yes. There are times i am picky with ICOs because not all ICOs are successful and good projects and sometimes they are scams, so it is good to be picky in ICOs for you not to waste your time in investing your money with it. Everything in crypto is a risk but better pick the right decision before you invest.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: July 25, 2018, 04:16:10 PM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
In my own point of view, people pay taxes because it will benefit us to have a good establishments such as schools, hospitals, roads, and etc. But there are still people who disagree to pay their taxes because some governments just only corrupts the our that we used to pay taxes.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: July 25, 2018, 03:47:27 PM
I love poker, I can not live without it.  I participate in all competitions.
Poker is also my favorite gambling game and baccarat when i go to the casino. I like playing poker and baccarat because it gives me a great thrills when i play it, especially in poker because i like the part when bluffing other players to fold their cards.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: July 24, 2018, 11:16:44 PM
The rule that only accredited investors, which means people who are already wealthy, are allowed to participate in certain ICOs is senseless imo. It's like saying "YOU'RE NOT WEALTHY YET, SO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO BE WEALTHY." Stupid society, with obsolete rules, we're living in.

Disclaimer: I'm not a US citizen, and I've not read that law
I really disagree on that quote because people have their own rights for them to be rich or wealthy, so they could have a good life of their own even they are poor they can still be rich if they work really hard. People can invest their money in ICOs if poor people will save money so they could invest in a good project and become rich.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 24, 2018, 11:13:14 PM
Lot of countries do not allow to use crypto currencies and they discourage using them. However as far as I feel, trading with crypto is not that harmful for the economy of the country. As an example, if a person has Eth and someone from another country needs to buy Eth, that buyer needs to pay the seller in terms of dollars. Then that seller needs to convert that Dollars to his native currency which means it creates a the demand for the native currency and increase the value of the currency. May be the government is unable to add a tax on such transactions but it is beneficial for the currency used in seller's country.
What do you think about that?
I think other countries do not allow to use cryptocurrency because they think it is being used in illegal activities such as scams and it will just ruined the economy of a country, which is not all true. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies has a good benefit to a certain person who are using cryptocurrencies like giving them extra income, so they could pay all of their expenses and provide their needs.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: July 24, 2018, 11:10:21 PM
When will people spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

I don't really spend much of my Bitcoin , because I am always in fear.
I am not talking about cashing out , but for digital goods.

How do you spend 10 mBTC on a 5$ digital good when you believe that the same 10mBTC is worth atleast 15$ , probably more.
How much of your Bitcoin have you hoarded , and how much have you really spent ?
I am under the impression that people tend to hoard more with BTC than with fiat , considering it an investment more than a currency

I don't know how to make a poll here , so :- http://strawpoll.me/1793917
This is not referring to your blockchain.info statistic , which includes money you have moved around. I am looking at money you have truly spent vs total amount of BTC you have received.

Overall , I'm trying to look at how much my guess is true by the poll and your estimates of when majority of people will start looking at BTC as a currency.

EDIT : I'm not sure this is the right section , tell me if this should go in General Discussion or so.
In my own point of view, people will start to feel comfortable using bitcoin if the government in every country starts to accept bitcoin as a currency and if bitcoin will have a higher value, so that people will not have any hesitation to invest their money in bitcoin. I think in the near future everybody will use bitcoin.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: July 04, 2018, 05:11:05 PM
Silly question right? Smiley
Unless there is a backup method or heritage system it obviously vanishes for eternity, but the point was to discover methods that you are aware for avoiding such risks.

Well, it's not a risk, it's a certainty, but there are other risks of losing access to the crypto account aswell.
Some like:
* death... obviously
* house burns down along with hard wallet
* one can accidently loose his cold storage or hard wallet
* maybe other you figure out and I add them

So, what storage do you use to ensure your savings, or what do you think would be the best solution to overcome these risks?

UPDATE: I started this discusion because I can't see a decentralized solution for that, most of the centralized ones are largely known (wills at layers, online wallets and so on) but do not meet the security criteria as still imply a trusted party. Better simply handover the private key directly to the inheritant IMO.

What I want to determine is if it IS realy a concern for the comunity or not, and if yes than we can contribute all together to the creation of a such product. But again I realy do think it should be built decentralized and trustless.
If you die all of your cryptocurrencies and bitcoin will just stay on your wallet, but if none of your family members knows how to access on your account or knows where are your private keys all of your cryptocurrencies will be useless, so better be ready because you don't know what will happen to you in the next day better teach one of your family members on how to access on your account.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: July 04, 2018, 05:06:41 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

Yes i hhave experienced that after i lose in gambling i swear that i will quit gambling for good and never come back in gambling again. But in few months i still play gambling because my friends ask me to join if wanted to play gambling, so i joined them because i was bored at home.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: July 04, 2018, 04:53:50 PM
Patience is the big reward of profit and it can take that person who have have habit to keep patience till the last movement of bearing And wait and patience is good part of life which give a huge benefit for whole life. Profit always come back on the hope of patience.
Patient is the key for you to have a huge profit because if you don't have any patience it will be your loss to have a low profit. Many people do this thing to have the patience to wait for your coin's price to increase, that is why most of them became rich and successful.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: July 04, 2018, 04:24:47 PM
I just read one article that's about math can help you win at roulette game then i want ask with you all, did you believe math can affect to gambling games? i'm not expert in math so i don't know

this is the article that i readed.
http://theconversation.com/can-maths-help-you-win-at-roulette-69440
I think maths cannot help you win in gambling because gambling is a risk and you take a lot of chances that you only think positively that you can win in gambling especially in card games. In roulette game i cannot say if maths could help you in gambling because you play it using a machine.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: July 04, 2018, 04:06:25 PM
With addiction as a side effect of gambling, I do wish to know what exactly the success rate of your gambling is. How many times have you not found yourself facing simply losses and that you still pin hope on success?

Gambling allows you to think that you will win every time in spite of the losses that you incur. You feel that success is just missed by a margin as thin as a hair. Every time you lose, you do feel that success was almost there and you could have had it almost certainly. And since it was almost a success story just missed by a very thin margin, you do not mind going in for another try only to miss again by a thinner margin! One success and you are happy. But does it stop? No. You feel that your efforts have now borne fruit and here onward you will surely win every time you take a shot in that game. But what happens? You lose again by a margin thinner than the previous time.

In this way we are lured every time for that success almost at hand, which we saw but could not get hold of. And we try time and again because it is so near. The truth is that you will find you end up losing everything in the hope of laying your hands on that success. Only the extremely self-controlled man will stop himself from further gambling the moment he tastes success.

True, many times one success can compensate for all the losses incurred. But what we miss is that that success itself is extremely rare. It is not a bad thing to have hope. But hope serves when we work hard towards success not otherwise.
Gamblers do not find any success in gambling because no.matter how many times you win gambling you will still lose to it. People who don't mostly who do not find success in gambling is the addicted ones because all day they play until they get bankrupt. I think only people who owned a casino are the one's who finds success in gambling because all of our money that we lost will go to them.
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 04, 2018, 03:58:16 PM
I am very interested to know if cryptocurrency wallets like Bitcoin Core, NEON, Electrum can ever be hacked ?
There are a lot of great hackers around the world that can easily hacked and steal all of your bitcoin and crypto's, so i think cryptocurrency wallet can be hacked by hackers. I think the only cryptocurrency wallet that can't be hacked is hardware wallet like ledger because no one can access, as long you are the only who knows your private key and you have your hardware wallet with you.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: July 04, 2018, 03:39:13 PM
The forum is full of topics - “When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $...”, “Why BTC is under $...?”, “Final bottom at $...”, “Why BTC is down again?”, “Bitcoin will rise again ?” etc. The last two topics may appear in various forms  a dozen times a day.
I looked at graph price of BTC out of curiosity. I have noted to the price floor:

2015 - $200+
2016 - $300+
2017 - $700+
2018 - $5000+

Do you see something frightening in it?

We all can see that price drops because of actions by a Governments and big whales. Because they have the means and opportunities. They want to break into the our market on advantageous terms for them. Okay, well, I mean, that makes sense. We knew it would happen. But why that have to affect us?

In December 2017, the most people said - "Why I didn't buy BTC for $500… for $1000… f#ck it!.. for $2000...", "I will definitely buy BTC if it costs $7k-6k!..". But now when the price drops so well for us, we see "The demand for BTC is dropping". Seriously?!

So, instead to take advantage of the situation, buy up coins and altcoins, attract new people in crypto world more active than before, a lot of people stuck in indecision and think whether crypto market falls to the bottom and stays there.

Guys, are you serious? Crypto world is made by us. Governments and big whales haven’t any tricks to rule our world. It will happen only if we do nothing.

What do you think about it?

In my own personal opinion, people moans about the price of bitcoin because people starts to sell all of their bitcoin for them not to have a big loss if bitcoin starts to have a more lower price. People are getting upset about the price of bitcoin because it has a low value today. Hoping that the price of bitcoin will increase once again.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: July 04, 2018, 03:32:50 PM
Most probably in this section are users that are interested mostly in Economics, so I want to know why Economics attracts you?

Users are interested mostly in Economic section because it helps them to have better understanding how would bitcoin be helpful in the economy or how it is related to the economy. Economy attracts me because it helps me how to manage my own business and how to handle my money wisely.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Money = Cashless Society on: July 04, 2018, 03:23:04 PM
Note: If you like my topics/threads and posts give me "+merits". See on the right side of each post (top right corner) there is "+Merits"

It is said now China is a cashless society. Use of debit and credit cards in shops/stores, online pay bills, shopping online.

Money earned from the internet is known as digital/electronic money. People who earn money from the internet, they get paid money in electronic form by payment processors such as skrill, perfectmoney, alipay, paypal, bank-wire transfers because online workers are worldwide.

Last month, I got $20 from online surveys. The money was sent to my bank account via online payment processor. Now if I buy 2 shirts using debit cards at offline or online stores, there is no cash involved but I have 2 shirts.

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries" where money becomes digital/numbers.

Bitcoin is a part of digital money. How is digital money is your country ??
In ny own opinion, digital money is being mostly used nowadays because it is very convenient and it has a very fast transaction. Everywhere in our country people are using digital money or cashless because they don't need to fall in line to pay their bills our buy their items. That is why i think bitcoin has a big possibility that it will be approved by the government because bitcoin is also a digital money.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: July 04, 2018, 03:13:24 PM
We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

In my own point of view, if there are no electricity simply you cannot trade qith bitcoin or any cryptocurrency because if there are no electricity your computer and internet connection will not work, so therefore you cannot access in bitcoin or any sites. You need to find a place that there are electricity for you to trade with bitcoin.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: Charity Accepting Bitcoins? on: July 04, 2018, 03:09:49 PM
If there is a charity accepting bitcoins do you prefer to give some of yours Huh

Me: I will if there is, but for now I don't have yet. Wink

EDITED:

Yeah it a hassle for now.

Another question: But what if there is fiat will be disappear in the future and crypto will conquered the world and all payment transactions will be on blockchain system?
So is this applicable right?

If charity is already accepting bitcoin as a donation maybe i could give them some of my bitcoins as a gratitude for people who needed help. If fiat will disappear and cryptocurrencies will conquered the world, definitely all payment transaction will be on blockchain system.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are. You leaving crypto? on: June 26, 2018, 02:48:49 AM
I am seriously considering it.
There is no future in a small market cap that is pumped and dumped!

In addition, trading bots are running the show: milking everyone!
I  will not leaving crypto because here i first started to earn a huge profit and it really change my life thanks to it. Even all of the price of cryptocurrencies starts to fall down, i still believe that it will increase all of its price again, so i could earn a huge profit again.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the price of crypto is down now, what to do on: June 26, 2018, 02:06:54 AM
the price of crypto is now down, what should we do to keep it profitable? give your feedback
In my own point of view,  the price of crypto in the market is really down the best strategy for it is to hold because it will be a big loss to you if you have sell your cryptocurrencies in a very low price, so if you want to have a huge profit you better have the patience to hold your cryptos.
