41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: November 11, 2018, 06:12:19 PM
I almost got scammed on twitter by a fake account. Scammers are setting up fake accounts pretending to be other people/ICO's/Tokens. It's very tricky if you are not paying attention. Make sure you check spelling on all names to be correct. Be careful who you give your info to. Even if it's just your email address. Scammers will not stop scamming so watch out and pay close attention to what you are signing up for. Good Luck everyone and be safe!
I have been scammed a plenty of times because i joined in a scam bounty projects and i am really mad about it, but i still spend a lot time in participating in bounty projects because i still believe that time will come that i will recieve a huge earnings from it.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: November 11, 2018, 05:23:17 PM
Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?
I think in other country there offline store already accept bitcoin as a payment but in my country it is not legal and we can only use our bitcoin in online store. On the other hand, I think it is very good idea to accept bitcoin in offline store because the transactions will become faster and I hope the government will really allow it to use in offline stores.

In my country and that is Philippines there are now few offline stores here that are accepting cryptocurrencies and bitcoin as a payment transaction because our government here in the Philippines do not see bitcoin as an illegal activity, even there are a lot of people here who had been a victim of scams.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: November 11, 2018, 04:53:16 PM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
Even i have joined a lot failed and scammed ICO projects and waste a lot of time with it, but i still spend my time in bitcoin because i still earn from it and it helps me a lot even it its not that larger than i get last year because i am still hoping that i can get huge earnings from it like last year.

45  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: November 09, 2018, 07:16:22 PM
I heard Robert Kyosaki is talking about the crashed of FIAT CURRENCY? when this thing will happen? how are we going to respond?
There are no any reasons that fiat currency will be crashed because it is under control of the government and everybody are always fiat currency. But if that happens i think cryptocurrency will take on action and a lot of people will make a lot of adjustments because most of them are not familiar with it.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 09, 2018, 06:59:11 PM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
I think it will be very difficult because not everyone will take the risk to put there money in bitcoin and some of them are still unfamiliar with it, but we can get people to use bitcoin as a currency is by teaching them or giving them knowledge about bitcoin and blockchain technology for them to be encourage to use bitcoin instead of using cash.

48  Economy / Economics / Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk? on: October 14, 2018, 07:08:32 PM
We, as physically and intellectually healthy individuals, strive and survive to achieve our dreams, establish our roles in the society and fulfill our needs and wants. But in order to do this, we are also required to be financially healthy. The lingering fact is that money is not achievable as a single candy you can buy in the store. Sometimes, people risk their lives and reputation just to get a handful. Bitcoins are not officially a currency that you can just see in a certain country, that are being utilized and used. So, is dealing with bitcoins and other things related to it also puts us in a risky gamble?
Engaging with bitcoins really put me at risk because you cannot say if your invesment will give a good reward because as of now bitcoin still doesn't have a good proce like last year that is why i lost a lot of bitcoins back then. Hoping that it will start to increased its again.

Recently ETH dropped below $300 , what do you think the future holds ?

Do you think it will still go below that?
Yes i still believe in altcoins because my money are safe with it and it still has a potential to have a good value like bitcoin, even its price starts to drop real bad. Hoping that ethereum will recover its price soon, so i could get a good profit.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How long will bounty programs stay with us? on: September 08, 2018, 05:07:14 PM
As long as new projects and coins enter the cryptocurrency world, as well as this forum exists, Bounty programs will run. These new projects and old projects which wish to refine their strategies need the help of bounty hunters to spread the awareness across all over the globe.
A lot of people are complaining in joining in bounty campaigns today because most of it are taking too long and their rewards are also taking too long. Unlike the old projects we do not ussually encounter thus kind of incident. Hoping bounty programs will stay with us and hoping that new projects will be successful lile the old days.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: September 08, 2018, 04:51:23 PM
With the price of bitcoin continuously going down, do you think that altcoins could be better right now than bitcoins? I trust that bitcoin prices will still rise perhaps next year, but with the price still going down, maybe altcoins have a better chance. What do you guys think?
I think altcoins still can't beat bitcoin because even bitcoin has a low price it doesn't continues to decrease its price unlike altcoins many of it continues to decrease because a lot of people are selling their holdings and less people who buys it.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: September 08, 2018, 04:29:44 PM

There was a time where Bitcoin was not even on the radar, it was a novel idea that was primarily used by thieves and drug dealers on the dark web. Nothing to be afraid of in terms of holding a monopoly on money.

However, that same little upstart is now disrupting the system of things; from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, ICOs and the ever impressive Blockchain technology. This is now a legitimate threat on traditional banks.

Banks have existed unchallenged for hundreds of years, and that is the key issue here; Bitcoin, backed by a solid platform such as Blockchain technology, is a ghost that is incredibly hard to control due to its decentralized nature.

The power and control of money is being ripped away from traditional institutions, which can also be seen on Wall Street. Some of these traditional investors are siding with what could be the future, while others vehemently denounce it.

Individuals can now enter into direct peer-to-peer trusted exchanges with strangers. They no longer need a central institution to vouch for the other party.

Just like the fax machine, the library, even metered taxis, new technologies have come along and made others obsolete. Banks are now in the sights of Bitcoin and are in their death throws, as they lash out with the power of states behind them.

However, there’s no stopping progress, and even with state-backed regulations trying to wrestle the money of the people under control, banks have every reason to be nervous.

Banks are nervous about bitcoin because they assume that they could be replace by bitcoin and they think that bitcoin could be used by everyone in the world in the near future, that is why other countries started to banned bitcoin to avoid banks being replaced.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: how to help people who have problem economic on: September 08, 2018, 04:07:04 PM
hello member of the bitcoin forum, Smiley
I'm confused and looking for answers about how to help people who are having economic problems,

are there any of us in this forum who have a good heart to help the economy of fellow human beings,

can opening new jobs reduce unemployment and improve the economy?
Bitcoin can help the problem of the economy by reducing unemployed people, so that people who needs money can provide their basic needs. Bitcoin has a lot of benefits in every individual that is why it is very valuable and many people would like to invest in bitcoin.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 08, 2018, 02:37:49 PM
I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.

I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)

Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?
Older people would like to invest in precious metals like gold and silver because it is very valuable and it is good for a long term investment. Older people do not want to try to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because they do not have any interest to it and it is not in their trend.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you bought bitcoin? on: September 07, 2018, 04:08:15 PM
Hey guys, when did you first bought bitcoin or ether? Did someone bought bitcoin when it was 20k$? Wink When did you first heard about crypto?
I bought my first bitcoin since 2016 because my friend just introduced me about bitcoin. I am really happy that i have bought my first bitcoin that time because i've be able to earn money using bitcoin and to lessen my financial issues in life.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: September 07, 2018, 03:53:04 PM
Yes it is important to secure our accounts to those scammers and hackers . Once your account is less secure or open in information they are chance to steal you details and may stole your bitcoin savings from  your wallet.
Wallet security is really important, so if you want to avoid theft and  be hacked all you need is to find a good wallet that has a good security feature that hackers will have difficulties in stealing all of your holdings.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 03:47:08 PM
I think blockchain technology can live without cryptocurrency but i think it will not continue its development because blockchain technology has started its popularity  because of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, so i think blockchain will be no use without cryptocurrency.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 07, 2018, 03:39:00 PM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.
It will take a long time before bitcoin will control the world economy because for now bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has a low price in the market. That is why a lot of people are complaining that all of their holdings are very low.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 07, 2018, 02:30:23 PM
I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.
I think crypto coin will definitely survive as long there are people who still investing and using cryptocurrency it will definitely stay, even a lot of countries are banning cryptocurrency a lot of people still believe thatit will recover its price once again.
