I do not have much of them at this time, but I decided to sell 30% for myself, 70% to invest in the long-term perspective.
I am just planning to sell when the price of the coins i am holdung is we will increase very high, just like when the price of ethereum and bitcoin is we will pump very high i will surely sell it and buy another coins that has a lower price with a bright future. With current prices, I can't sell my few coins becaue the profit is almost zero and there is nothing to do about it. I always start with the main site of project, read about the team, read a short version of the white paper, if there is one available. And if i like the project and it seems for me promising and interesting - then I read the full version of WP. Well, this is not the most pleasant and a fascinating pastime, sometimes im very bored..But investment is not a game but the work. If you don't want to lose your money ,you must read.
I start with business plan documents and then I continue with white paper documentation to understand whether the project can make profits after they launch their business to the sector. |

I disagree with this. The features and the level of the technology is not the first step to evaluate an investment. Monero's community and the proejct them is trusted enough for me. I don't waste my money on other new untrusted ones. |

The market trend is normal. The problem is most people bought high sold low. Smart investors like this trend because they can sell high buy low. If you see the graph. BTC is way expensive. Mcafee only predited $5k for Dec 2017. I am not endorsing anyone to buy or sell, what I am saying BTC is still more expensive than predicted.
And this dip didn't just affect Bitcoins only, all the other cryptocurrencies were all shaken and they all took massive dips but Bitcoins is still the most valuable and now we are on path to recovery and a price boom. I am not saying the markets are are bad, what I mean with my statement is it is risky to carry out analysis with such small data. The chart is ok, it is showing prices dumping and a good opportunity seems to be coming up with the time. The swing trading is good for small period of time where you buy and sell with low and high strategy. It would be ridiculous idea to do that for very long period. FYI: bitcoin is different and self condemned which will rise in its own value and other coins are irrespective of it.

I believe it is only normal for crypto to have a crash long term, because we all agree that bitcoin is being used more for profit therefore having a yearly downfall should be expected. I am the person that you cannot see on my image that Im emotionally affected.I keep on smiling but but deep inside my heart is opposite on my physical appearance.I usually calm down on facing to other people.But when Im alone its there I cry at all.Its very hard to handle it but I have to fight what I feel.It doesnt help me if I show it,I'd rather keep it and only share to someone I could trust.All I have to do is to fight and move on.Theres something new waiting for me in the future.

I've lost a good sum with panic selling and panic buying, really newbie mistakes, and looking back I actually did good choices when selling...
I've also lost by not doing proper research before invest, although very small sum.
I have done the same except for panic buying but thankfully I didn't get a loss, I was still at a nice profit level. And since then I have learnt and I rather chose to wait for a good profit level even if I have a capital loss. That's sometimes helpful, sometimes not. I spend almost all of my bitcoins for alts and when I really need to make a good investment I won't have any bitcoins with me and at the same time I cannot sell of my investments because they are probably in a loss. My theory is just that not to sell anything at a loss. However I have got losses in like gambling and sending alts without destination tag or other tags or something like that. The most common one is not selling the assets under a heavy market collapse. This is the worst decission to take during a red market. If you sell with huge loss, there is no meaning in this decission. |

I think this is not the end and the current events around the world has also happened in 2017 and the same year cryptocurrencies markets has the highest boom! China banned bitcoin in 2017, Russia banned bitcoin in 2017 but we still have the best years when most of this news turned out to be untruth and a FUD created by the enemy of cryptocurrency in other for the hold to sell they coins out of panic.
Nothing is over. It was just a crash, that's it. Hold on and try to focus more on the market structure. Without thinkking more intense on the prices, we can't get profit from the collapse and we even lose more as a result. |
