So you call Ripple a scam but you NEVER tell reason why. If there are some problems inside the Ripple Labs company, it doesn't make Ripple protocol a scam. If someone dumps 9% of all XRPs, it's still not a scam. Could someone explain me why Ripple is a scam?

What is the business model when you seem to not take any fees from anywhere? Except the withdrawal fee..

If soemeone actually starts dealing with him, on the first PM sent (or the first post in marketplace) they will see his negative ratings.

Are you kidding here? TradeFortress scams and trolls (been doing both for very long time.) He isn't a regular scammer who scams individuals where trades are settled via pm. He scams in various ways but most notable scam of his was inputsio (doesn't require one to ever go pm / look his profile page.) So why are the staff here dodging banning him? What policy is this? Does the payment of 50 BTC (for the VIP status) have something to do with this?

I don't see a point in banning people who +1 or whatever spams threads when same time you allow scammers to keep scamming. Scammers are a lot worse thing than spammers.

It may be quite hard to believe someone is a known scammer if he's Very Important Person or 'Hero Member'.

Ok i got it working.. Had to redownload the whole blockchain. Still don't know what caused it since it was the correct blockchain and i did -rescan... Anyway now it works so I'm happy. =)

Wait for the new wallet to sync with the blockchain, check balance again in like 10 mins, and boom there it is. Also, I assume you have backups of your wallet.dat just in case.

I updated wallet software and now the darkcoind shows no balance..... Did -rescan but it didn't help. Anybody else having this problem?

I think this forum itself has lost a lot of credibility by for example, allowing account sales. I don't think I'm losing credibility when I keep an ad in my signature.

If someone who's wearing a paid sig says something you go think if the message is legit or not... something goes wrong there. =) The message of the sig (or the fact it's a paid sig) shouldn't affect the posters message itself.
