1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain-based social media worth it? on: September 19, 2019, 05:21:13 PM

With so many Blockchain implementations of a social network, it's becoming evident that this is the industry of the future. Of course, none of the mentioned platforms have been able to overcome Facebook or even Twitter. But the potential is there, to help change our world for the better. Still though, the number of users within these platforms are not comparable to the likes of Facebook.

Which makes me wonder, if Blockchain-based social media platforms are actually worth it? Do you think there's a future for them? Or are they just a niche? Huh

Social media to promote crypto its a golden but as main platform to earn or trade crypto its not. because it will change the initial concept of the media itself.
not a source of content anymore. but to be a forum community it's very good. and also it will be the same blockchain platform the thing make difference only they had their own media.
1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new traders are playing to lose on: September 19, 2019, 05:13:48 PM
But in fact when viewed this year's graph tends to always go up. but also the price dropped dramatically in the middle of this year did make all traders panic with their assets, but for the strong hand still get a profit. and it is indeed a challenge for new traders, I myself had a big loss this year, even though if I keep holding until now I should have made a big profit.
1003  Local / Mining (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: (Help) Mengenai mining dan investasi on: September 19, 2019, 05:05:35 PM

1005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy on: September 19, 2019, 03:57:28 PM
How many gambling sites are you playing and do you use the same strategy? I'm playing on at least 4 sites now and uses a different variation on the martingale and some guessing method and I found out that I have good success implementing a method on one gambling site that is not effective on other gambling sites, how about you?

im always trying new gambling site that looks legit or unique design . I always play with a small value because the goal is only to test my luck for fun only. so I prefer gambling website with option able to gambling with very small amount. and most often im gambling with altcoin with the lowest value with a lot of coins. I prefer sports bet if the goal is to double my capital.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 8 Ball Pool game against live players worldwide - is gambling available? on: September 19, 2019, 03:39:12 PM
Hi, if you know about 8 Ball Pool Game, you understand the potential of gambling in it. It's a very addictive game and I have been been playing it in my mobile since last few weeks and totally loving it. See the picture below,

Does anyone know about any gambling platform where I can play this game against live players worldwide and bet on my own ability using cryptos? I tried searching Google but unable to find any such platform where I can bet on my own ability and earn real money for each win. Any help will be appreciated!

I'm not sure there's a gambling platform for this 8 ball game. the thing you might do is to buy a large amount coin from other people and then gambling the coin and you can sell it again when you already double up your capital. I just bought 100 million coins for $ 12 last week and playing for fun only.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 18, 2019, 04:37:58 PM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

Gambler professionals are not poor they have other businesses elsewhere. and doubling their money in a unique way and they believe they can double it. but if you risk all the money and only hope with luck I think it is not worth emulating and not the least that ends in losing everything.
1008  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Pengaruh Krypto Terhadap Bank on: September 18, 2019, 04:27:53 PM

1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some IEOs could also turn out to be scam on: September 18, 2019, 04:23:42 PM
there are so many coins that end up scamming and not giving much profit or just giving a big loss. and there are also many factors that influence it, such as if you participate in the wrong time or are late in investing or indeed the project really fails. If we do not know what project is better not to just spend money on unknown projects. it's more like wasting money.
1010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: September 18, 2019, 04:13:18 PM
Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

it depends on who you are socializing with. if with people who are anti gambling and think gambling is just wasting money he can be to judge you and your reputation. but if you gambling just for yourself and your own pleasure I think that's fine. after all, everyone has their own adrenaline pleasures. if you like to challenge your adrenaline by risking money I think that's fine. just have to know the limits of our own before losing everything.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: September 18, 2019, 04:04:01 PM
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

there is no way people can guess everything right, also its same like gambling its game based on luck. I'm sure there is no definite way to always make profit with gambling. except games like poker and such thing card. everything can happend dan everything not always go according to plan.

1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the big merchants that accept Bitcoin payments? on: September 17, 2019, 11:49:30 PM
I know some of the most famous merchants for gift cards or payment for games and other online services such as G2A. they accept bitcoin and hosting services these days also accept crypto via third parties such namecheap . but for shopping for real goods so far, I prefer credit card or banking transfer. crypto payment is more often used to pay for digital goods and digital services.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of gamblers are rich or poor? on: September 17, 2019, 11:06:49 PM
The question on the title just pop on my mind.
Are they poor or rich?
Remember the famous line on gambling?
"Only gamble a money you afford to lose". With that line we are really thinking of losing, the risk is still there.

So, what do you think on most gamblers now? Are the majority gamblers are rich or poor?

HOW TO KNOW IF A PERSON IS POOR/RICH?

 - Now, it's now on you how you will judge a person if they are rich or poor, we have different criteria on how we judge/look on poor/rich people.

for me line "Only gamble a money you afford to lose" only for a reminder that gambling often makes people poor and loses everything if they gambling everything they have.

i have friends who are rich he has a yacht ship and also living with unlimited credit cards from his father but he likes gambling for fun too. and also me as an ordinary person who doesn't have a lot of money likes gambling too. so in my opinion this gambling is not a problem of rich people or poor people. but rather to each other's personal pleasure.
1016  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 17, 2019, 10:50:43 PM
There are some people gamble and lose. if you ask them why do you gamble? They will answer you "just for fun"
They know they are loser in long term and no strategy works, but continue to gamble for fun.
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose? Is losing money really enjoyable? Isn't there any other entertainment you can enjoy?
I think these people are still hopeful of winning back previous losses or they are addicted. Gambling cannot be just for fun. There are many free games too.

Everyone has their own fun. because gambling is not always about the money that will get but the feeling of winning that makes someone get their own happiness. although sometimes the results are not always according to plan, but in fact it makes people addicted. all depends on the personality of each person, such people who are gambling with their main money and people who only gambling for fun just for adrenaline and trying luck .

1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the difference between binary option and gambling? on: August 26, 2019, 09:00:03 AM
It is almost impossible to come out with profits in binary options and a lot of strategies are out there and I have tried many of them. One thing is very common and that is: the gambling companies keep making money and binary option websites owners are among millionaire in their countries. My question is that,  is binary options part of the gambling industry as it deals with betting?
Binary options are no different from gambling because there are no other market factors that affect user trading. their system looks like forex or stock trading. but actually far from trading. buy and sell users depends on the luck and algorithm of their binary apps system. there are still many who consider binary options as stock trading. even though it's not . its pure gambling system.
1019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 07, 2019, 05:00:02 PM
Too hasty and not care about finances can also cause someone to use money unwise. I prefer to think about the consequences and manage finances before everything just disappears. because basically. the excitement of gambling is like adrenaile clashing with mind.
1020  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is better Government run Lottery or private run Lottery on: August 07, 2019, 04:57:23 PM
For reasons of security, honest and fair, I prefer more to the government. but for prizes that are unique and give a lot more bonuses to run some trusted people aren't bad either. but in my country it is not possible to run a lottery. even gambling is illegal here in asian.
