Maybe add a picture? Well, whoever owns it should know what it is? Then again I suppose whoever sent it is legit since I would not grade some random persons coins... Will add picture soonWill do a check although I don't believe it was part of my coins.

No do not..its also locked away in my dungeon...probably will be excavated out in the far future. Why the measurements bybthe way?
I'm wondering if the metal version has a different thickness than the plastic version.

What's the thickness of the metal card in mm, do you have a caliper you can use to measure it?

Glad to see these finally get back from ANACS and go to auction. The package turned out nice and the coins received some good grades. Happy bidding! P.S. I wanted to add that the sheet we sent ANACS had the series name written properly as "Ravenbit Podified" although they messed it up and entered it as "Ravenbit Modified". It's not really a big deal but we wanted to clarify that detail in case other users were to get their Cryptopods coins graded. "Ravenbit Podified" is the correct name for the series.

Interested, any update on the pictures?

Looks pretty neat. Which hologram will be on the coin?

Out of everyone here I would've bet that bithalo knew something about them, good to know these are really obscure. The coins are pretty cool, I remember MJ was looking for them last year and wasn't able to dig up any more information. Unless they were melted the coins are definitely out there somewhere and I'd be interested in one!

There's a lot of fake Oakleys - "foakleys". Are these genuine / still new in box items?

|

Here's something I learned from nubbins years ago (paraphrased as I do not remember his exact wording):
Coin Price = (Spot BTC Loaded on coin + Precious Metals Value of coin) + Numismatic Premium (collectable value due to scarcity and demand) + Seller's Premium (well respected/trusted sellers command a premium)
Agreed with this price calculation, obviously some of the values are left to interpretation although it's a way better method than using a "multiplier".

If this rocketship crosses 5k usd, I might try to cash in and trade a few for a kilo brick of gold. Got one of those? 325 ounces generic .999 silver, all stamped with mint, purity and weight, for 1 graded Cas Gilt silver. Now that's a lotta silver! To add to the thread, I'd believe it depends on your financing and willingness to accept risk.

Thanks for sharing gentlemand (and icey!), the original picture looks pristine. It seems this is quite common for these coins.

What is the discoloration around the rims of the coins?
Looks like natural silver tarnish Gotcha, I've seen some of these coins with that tarnish and others without. I'm wondering why that would be but suspect the answer isn't easy to come across.
