There will probably be a big pump up of the price going into the next crowdsale, unless the pump already happened. This coin used to be 200 satoshi and now it is 20,000 satoshi. I am already up 100x. The alpha version will not release new $AMP. It will release a test net of fake tokens to practice with.
Steemit is not a scam. It is an attention economy. It is a good website that uses blockchain technology. You create good content and it will get upvoted, giving you a reward. This is exactly how Synereo is described to work. Steemit is also a free blogging service if that is what you need. If you want you can post on steemit for free and possible make money if you go viral... how is this a scam? That is exactly what Synereo plans to do.
Synereo could easily be called a scam for the same reason people call steemit a scam. Synereo might end up being a system where you first have to buy a few $BTC worth of $AMP to promote your content in order to possibly receive a reward from your content. It will come down to very small details of how the game works that will decide whether Synereo is a success.
Everyone is crazy with their crypto investments. This system/company is worth maybe 20 millions dollars. It is pretty crazy that $AMP is worth $200,000,000 USD and Synereo LTD is also worth a bunch of money. The Synereo user base has grown from 10 users to... 500 users in 1 year? There has been no testing on whether this is possible. The game has not even been created... People are insane. Stop giving such high valuations. It leaves very little profits for us. The chances this goes to a 10 billion marketcap is like 1/1000000 but that would only be 50x profits. That is a horrible investment.
AMPs were never worth 200 sats a piece. The lowest they ever traded was low 600 sats, and it was for a very brief moment in time. Right now they're at ~17k sats, not 20k sats. Steemit is absolutely a scam. The reason for this is because it is totally unsustainable. It is simply a money grab by the Larimers and their associates at the expense of the naive. Trust me, I know all about how they operate. Like all their major critics, I used to support the Larimers, before I found out how they operate and knew what total scumbags they are. If you don't believe me, feel free to go join them, but prepare to get burned, because trust me, it will be coming. At least, you won't be able to say that nobody warned you. Your valuation of the Synereo ecosystem is subjective. Personally, I disagree with it for the sole reason of the current state of development. Not to mention the ground-breaking potential this technology has to revolutionize the way people connect. Imo, there are plenty of opportunities for profits in the future for this ecosystem. At the current distribution of AMPs, which is ~46M, and at the paltry price of 16.79k sats, the marketcap is only 4.5M USD. Imo, that's a dirt cheap valuation. |

Another example where smooth and are not always like-minded on voting and this is another example that we need to fix the voting algorithm to group like-mindedness (i.e. I should have not seen this blog post so highly ranked as it was irrelevant for me): I downvoted this shit because the playmate was doing what she does best, and which is a fact of our society and the way the mating game works. You are just parasiting on her coattails and adding value only for those who are jealous and/or incapable of accepting facts of life and mating game theory.
I am not arguing that the playmate should have received $16,000 for her blog post, but that is not her fault. It is the fault of the voting rewards algorithm design of Steem.
Tipping the playmate or any poster who is showing skin, is not much different then being in a strip club and tipping a stripper. As is now, if steemit system is letting this stuff get on page one, then steemit is in effect encouraging it. Which make steemit a virtual stripclub, or playboy. Anyone remember this line, "I only read it for the articles" The Larimers and their associates are pimps 2.0 pure and simple. They are making money by promoting (aka upvoting) this trash to entice the weak-minded morons to come see their prostitutes. All the while they are dumping their Steem Dollars into the market which is propped up by these same weak-minded suckers who are buying in. Once the Larimers use these "girls" to work over the saps, they'll leave with their real money BTC/USD and the "girls" and suckers will be left with worthless "Steem Dollars" which can't even be cashed out for two years. |

Synereos got a top notch product but the coins been drifting between some wierd limited supply phase between market launch off and product launch off. Now more coins will be released. This game is incomparable to other games - it's variables are way different like every other coin... It's definitely not ether like you mention and it ain't steem. Despite steem being steem, it actually provided value to its users quick, there's incentive for a lot of people to use steem.
Steem's a con job pure and simple. The Larimers and their associates are selling while they are trying to con people into buying by proselytizing Steem via lowbrow antics. The only value Steem provides is one that feeds directly into the Larimers' pockets. Steem is completely unfeasible long-term, and it will die out once the Larimers milk it for all it's worth. It's going to turn out the same way it turned out for Bitsnares holders which is badly. Synereos releasing alpha correct during the time of their next sale?

I don't know why people view the upcoming crowdsale as bearish for the price. All the new crowdsale does is put more peoples' skin into the game and set a new price floor where they buy in at. They won't want to sell any lower than their entry price, because it would be for a loss, and they will expect a similar ROI as the original crowdsale participants achieved. It dilutes the market with more coins. So, you think the new crowdsale participants are going to be dumb enough to sell for less than their original purchase price? It happens all the time in every market... Maybe you'll get lucky. I bought some AMPs off people who sold at less than 1000 sats. That didn't work out too well for them. |

bonus another word for saying coins will be below market price. Anyone else think current price of Synereo is in a bubble? Do they pay you decentralized economics? When do you think AMP is going to raise to 50 cent? Considering AMPs will be below market price why would there be any in incentive to buy AMPs now? You're not making much progress trying to FUD the price down. I think AMPs will hit 50 cents pretty soon, but that's just my opinion. Why does it say available supply on Coinmarketcap is 184,800,000 AMP , although the crowdsale was over 369,600,000 ?

The crowdsale wasn't over 369.6M. The mass majority of those were destroyed. Read below. Total Supply is 1,680,400,000 AMP and 184,800,000 AMP available atm, right ? When will they be fully distributed?

Hey Synereo team you guys dodged my question Good question. Could OP or someone answer this? They've already said multiple times that the crowdsale price will be based on the prevailing market price. Why would they undercut themselves and sell lower than the market? The goal is to raise as much money as possible. The more they raise the higher chance of success in dethroning the centralized corporate social media giants. No sane market participant is going to undercut the crowdsale price either unless they absolutely have to sell, because they need the money. |

Is the price of oil based on what's on the shelves at retailers, or estimated reserves in the ground? (we'll leave production costs out, since that is negligible in a crypto) PS. The "estimated reserves" of AMPs has not changed - no new AMPs enter the supply chain in the crowdfunding. The current price of the coin based on the number of coins on exchanges rather than the total number of coins. In any event, after an increase of coins on the exchanges price will fall. It is only a fool does not understand. The market price will only fall if people decide to sell them for less than the crowdsale price. Imo, I don't think that will happen. Look at what occurred in the last crowdsale. The price then was approximately 1000 sats per AMP. The people who sold them for less than 1000 AMPs on Bittrex didn't make a wise choice seeing as how the price is now over 18x more expensive than the original crowdsale price not including the fact that bitcoin is now almost three times more expensive. New crowdsale participants will expect a return on investment similar to the original crowdsale participants which would put the price much higher than it is now. Additionally, imo someone who has vested interest in this project will initiate a sustained effort to drive up the market price of AMPs previous to the start of the crowdsale. Since the crowdsale price will be based on the market price, their motivations will be to increase the fiat raised during the upcoming crowdsale, which will enhance the resources behind their growing investment. I would not be surprised in the least to see AMPs trading at 50 cents just previous to the crowdsale. It would take a very small amount of capital to drive the market to this price level, because very few individuals are selling. Even at 50 cents an AMP, new crowdsale participants are getting a better deal than the Ethereum crowdsale participants. 50 cents per AMP gives you 1150 AMPs per BTC. Ethereum sold for 1000 ETHs per BTC. Everyone knows the ROI Ethereum achieved. Imo, with Synereo's more advanced DAPP architecture, Synereo is the new Ethereum. |
