Asus is just the best IMO, I happily pay 20$ more for a card with high grade components and good coolers which don't burn after 2 months.

Gebruik zelf ook de MSI Z77A-G45, echt top bordje. Toevallig ook met een G1610. Aangezien ik BTC mine alleen, gebruik ik 2Gb werkgeheugen maar. Sta in de unieke situatie (werk bij Mycom) dat ik qua videokaarten ze bijna allemaal kan proberen. Van 7770 tot 7990 heb ik allemaal een dag gebruikt voor BTC te minen.
Mijn favoriet is de 7870 en dan vooral omdat hij energiezuinig is (kon er 3 gebruiken bij 475watt aan de muur) en dat ze evenveel hashrate hebben als een 5870, 400mhash. Ja je kunt de 7950 flink overklokken zodat je tegen de 600mhash zit of nog hoger, maar het energieverbruik ging ook flink omhoog (tweemaal een 7950 was 590watt aan de muur).
Mocht iemand nog unpowered pcie risers nodig hebben, ik heb der 5 over.
Ik heb 2 Asus HD7850's en ze trekken met gemak 400+ Kh/s/Mh/s per kaart á 180 euro per kaart en trekken onder minen niet meer dan 360w uit het stopcontact... (icm. AMD Phenom ii x4 965BE @4.3Ghz + Corsair H80i + Antec 900 + 2x Seagate Barracuda 1tb en zuipt dus aardig wat stroom wat de kaarten niet verbruiken, systeem loopt idle 160W) Koeler op 40% en allebij de kaarten worden niet warmer dan 55 graden en je hoort ze niet. |

Hey, heel toevallig heb ik vandaag een rigje besteld dat mij 1200 euro heeft gekost om mee te beginnen. Ik heb er flink wat uren in gestoken, maar ik ben van mening dat het resultaat op dit moment wel de meest gunstige setup is in een case. - Processor: Intel Celeron G1610; Je hebt geen cpu kracht nodig, dus deze voldoet.
- Moederbord: MSI Z77A-G45; Voordelig bord met ondersteuning voor veel gpu's.
- Videokaarten: 3x Gigabyte Radeon HD7950 WindForce 3; Koelste en stilste oplossing.
- Behuizing: Cooler Master K280; Goedkope kast met 7 sloten en goede kwaliteit.
- Geheugen: Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB 1600MHz CL10; Je hebt wat meer ram nodig voor Litecoins.
- Voeding: Corsair HX850 Gold; Kan de drie kaarten aan en voldoet dus.
- En nog een extra 120mm casefan.
Verwachte specs: 1800Kh/s bij 700 watt voor 1200 euro. Ik heb ook overwogen om vier videokaarten te gebruiken, maar dan kom je relatief duurder uit. Naar mijn berekening is het voordeliger om op te schalen door deze setup meerdere keren te bouwen. Ik zie de 10% mettertijd wel verschijnen!  De Asus DCII koelers zijn stiller en koeler, maar dan kom je mischien (iig met de genoemde kast) in problemen met plaatsgebrek aangezien de DCII's op de 79xx series 3 slots zijn. |

Dat is veel handiger en je kunt gewoon een preset instellen voor je 7970.
Guiminer maakt gebruik van CGMiner dus daar hoef je je geen druk over te maken.

Can anyone explain me what the police wil do with the personal info (e.g. Addres, Real name) of the report green65 is going to submit?
It’s just going to be a list of victims with their contact details along with the amount bought, bitcoins lost and aprox. fiat amount. If the police want to ask you any details then an email or phone number would be useful, also having victims addresses would be useful if he is found and compensation is to be paid, as people know the legal system still likes using lots of paper and snail mail. If you dont want to give me any info thats fine I will just put a note saying you did not want to provide me with this info which i would totally understand. If you send me a screenshot of your PMs thats evidence of a transaction and contact between you and vdragon. I send you the PM's via mail. I will give you my "normal" email addres also via an email to you, which also contains my real name, and if they want to contact me, they can do so by mail. Also incluided a signed message so i can proof I send the amount to vdragon and that it is my BTC addres. |

Ok, so I successfully installed the new fan with a thin layer of artic silver on GPU, after cleaning it thoroughly of previous thermal paste. The fan works great only one issue, my card resets when it gets to about 70C now. Previously, I ran it at 20 intensity, and now I can only run it continuously at 11. Any ideas why this is happening? I read the artic silver has a break in time, is this what is causing the gpu to reset?? Any ideas how to fix issue?
What happens when you run at higher intensity? You get much higher Hashrates, but it also couses more heat. I havent seen much power draw increase with a higher intensity so it is worth to set it as high as possible, but beware, you cant really use your computer at 20... |

In my opinion, LTC remains the biggest and most stable, there are 80 fucked up alt-coins of which 79 are pump and dump to make 200$ and jump to a "new" coin...

Look if you can find any blown Cap's or VRM's or any brown/black parts on the bords.
You would not be the first one to have problems with a Sapphire card, why do people even buy them? Becouse they are 2$ cheaper then a better cooler?
