1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to eradicate scam in cryptocurrency ? on: August 08, 2018, 07:04:23 AM
Hello, everyone I think there is an urgent need to end scam in  cryptocurrency industry. In other to achieve this there is need to put in place a reputable site that will serve as a symbol of trust in this industry. So that any ICO that does not have the approval of this site will not be trusted. Do you think this can help to eradicate scam in cryptocurrency industry ?  Or it can only bring a measure of protection to investor  in the cryptocurrency ?   Please let's have your opinion
this can really help in fighting scam as icos scammers are the reason cryptocurrencies has not getting mush adoptions.  However,  to get that trusted site will be very hard as most of the rating sites we have now has started to manipulate and joined hands with scam icos.
1002  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC holding it's own trend? on: August 08, 2018, 06:52:57 AM
Watching the markets closely and I find it interesting that while BTC has been trending up slightly over the past week, the majority of other alts are down or just wavering...could this be why BTC is trending up? Everyone is focusing on that? I thought it was interesting as normally we see everything move in tandem together but this time I'm not sure whether to invest in any alts given they seem to be going their own way...
Some time this type of relationship between altcoins and bitcoin do happen and I always accuse flippers for this type of price action.  From the beginning of this month things are a bit normalize and we can now see bitcoin and altcoins moving together.
1003  Economy / Economics / Re: what have you sacrificed for crytptocurrency economic growth on: August 08, 2018, 06:42:47 AM
I have to tell everybody I know about cryptocurrencies and I have also invested into some projects not because profits from my investments but because of my desire for those projects to succeed.a
1004  Economy / Speculation / Re: WILL BITCOIN RECOVER? on: August 07, 2018, 04:15:22 PM
I believe cryptocurrencies price movement do follow a pattern and this pattern is what should tell us either to invest or not to invest at the moment and either bitcoin is going to recover and be above the $20,000 it get to last year.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit cryptocurrency trading its not for you! on: August 07, 2018, 07:15:38 AM
The reason why there has been a serious insurge of people into cryptocurrency mostly populated by newbies and novices is because someone somewhere told them they can make 100% to 500% in crypto within few days, lol but how many really had such experience.
The worst still is that some don't even think learning is necessary in the crypto market, and so they just invest their money in crypto and manage to know how to open and close a trade, and as soon as any candlestick chart turns red they dash their coins into the market in fear to cut off more loss and the cycle continues till nothing is left.

If you are doing this at the moment just quit crypto trading its not for you.
That is the major reason we should not investing into cryptocurrencies without any knowledge on how to trade professionally.  Many people are having problems with there investments because they buy bitcoin at a very wrong time and that is because they jumped into the market because of the FUD.
1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN UPDATE AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS on: August 07, 2018, 06:33:54 AM
August 04, 2018

BTC is currently on a slow grind up within the current consolidation zone between $7,500 and $7,250.

We’re currently printing higher lows as we march towards the 0.236 fib level but it would not surprise us to see a bearish retreat and retest of $7,265 level as we could potentially be in a bear flag pattern.

We would view any break and close below $7,200 as a shorting opportunity to around the $6,860 level.

On the other hand, if we witness some convincing buy volume at the $7,200 mark, we would consider going long with targets as high as $7,800 but more conservatively, would look at possibly exiting at $7740 or even $7,520 depending on the bullish momentum.
Of a truth the market is bearish and to me we need a strong fundamentals analysis to pull the price back up.  We are at the time when bitcoin needs to get below $7,000 before it can gather enough momentum for bullish trend.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing on: August 06, 2018, 04:25:54 PM
What happen n the market? is this the end ?
End? I think bitcoin is making corrections from the last year gain and I think it was seriously over pumped last year. Cryptocurrencies and bitcoin in particular is here to stay and I don't see it clashing.  If you buy bitcoin this time last year you should still be in profits at the current rate. I see over all bullish trend from the historical data.
1008  Economy / Speculation / Re: BAKKT: Road to $100,000+ starts in november? on: August 06, 2018, 04:10:11 PM
It is another big step in bitcoin adoption. Many are saying that this will make bitcoin ETF redundant.
If you are out of loop, read this article to get you up to date:
https://finrazor.com/news/bombshell-message-the-first-large-scale-regulated-exchange-for-institutional-investors

Hopefully, things will turn out better than they were after bitcoin futures were intoduced.
I also make this pray "that things turn out positive than there were after introduction of bitcoin future" many traders and investors has really lose money because of bitcoin future and some are still losing money because of the ways market is now.
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year? on: August 06, 2018, 08:01:44 AM
Base on the experts speculation recently that Bitcoin will reach  $50,000 before end of December this year, 2018 and as you guys will agree with me that increase in the market value of Bitcoin will lead to increase in the market value of Ethereum. Do you think ethereum will grow up to $11,000 before end of December this year. In addition to the speculation, i strongly believe that encouraging new investors will go a long way to actualize the growth up to the said amount. Do you believe so?
Ethereum is too weak to get to $11,000 before December.  Though you makes this comment when the market was a bit OK and ethereum was just below $1,000 then but now ethereum is heading toward $300 therefore I doubt if we can get to that level this year.
1010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins and bitcoin - Where is the good investment now? on: August 06, 2018, 06:28:50 AM
Huh Huh Although bitcoin has been on the rise for the past few days, altcoins seem to have stalled. Between altcoins and bitcoin, what is a good medium term investment  Huh
If you have a good risk capital now is the best time to invest in both bitcoin and altcoins market as you can get them very cheap now and you can make good profits from them when there start to recover.  Many skillful investors are putting in their investments now since the fearful are selling.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to Ethereum Price: It will be back to $300 dollars! on: August 03, 2018, 07:13:05 AM
I am surprised seeing ethereum below $410 this morning and it seems heading towards $300. We are not going to have it too much good as we have last year and we just need to see this year as a bearish year in the live of ethereum. Bitcoin is also getting dump this year and I think this year should be buying decision years.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin forecast: Can Bitcoin price worth more than $100k in 2018? on: August 03, 2018, 06:53:06 AM
This is a nice speculations but I doubt if this is going to happen.  $100,000 is too high to achieve this except something like governments adoptions happen.  I didn't think we have that power to push bitcoin above  $64,000 this year.
1013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [SURVEY] Why do people invest in ICOs? What are decision criteria? on: August 02, 2018, 07:18:37 AM
I'm a university researcher (GER/NL) and try to investigate why people invest in ICOs (decision criteria, motives, behavior) in an empirical fashion. Any help in filling out this survey would be greatly appreciated (https://www.unipark.de/uc/ICOs/).

The results will be published Open Access (including any academic publications). Also, any suggestions on how to get participants would be greatly appreciated!
People invest in icos with the aim of getting those coins and tokens at a very cheap price.  Most of the projects do give bonuses during ico and investors do like to get those bonus as part of the profits.
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: To be or not to be. What to invest in? on: August 02, 2018, 06:57:40 AM
Forecasts for bitcoin in 2018 are rather ambiguous. On one hand, some analysts predict gloomy future due to the current unstable situation.
On the other hand, optimists predict bitcoin a rapid increase in quotations, which must exceed its maximum threshold next year in the history of the existence of cryptology.
Although Bitcoin is still in a state of uncertainty. So many of you were wondering what to invest. Therefore, I had the idea to write a several alternatives for investing.
1. Bonds
A good alternative to deposits is bonds. The plus of this instrument is the absence of taxation. And from the same deposits, the tax on income of natural persons in the amount of 18%. But the percentage is different in different countries.
2.Gold
Investments in precious metals should be considered with a sight for 3-5 years.
Silver and gold are traditionally considered to be a long-term instrument to protect you against inflation. They are also interesting because, in 2018, the growth of the cost of precious metals can reach 10-20% in the world. And this gives the possibility of additional income. Therefore, you can invest up to 20% of savings, for example, invest monety / ingots or look at the so-called gold deposits.
3.Real estate
To invest in real estate is required neatly. You can choose an attractive option for a long time in the secondary market as well.True, it must be remembered that investment in real estate pays off for a long time - 10-20 years. And in the case of force majeure, housing will not be sold quickly .
4.Bitcoin: Interesting, but risky
In cryptology you need to invest carefully. The market is speculative, can sharply grow and fall. In 2017, bitcoin cost about 19,000 dollars, now - about 8 thousand dollars. Intraday fluctuations of the Crypto-currency may be 25%. You need to have iron nerves to withstand the jumps, because you can lose everything. At the same time, how much will Bitkoin cost at the end of 2018, it is unknown, because all bold forecasts have come true. But one should not think that cryptography is a costly investment.

Therefore, the choice is up to you as always.
I have trade stocks and bands around 2011 and I could not make significant profits but since I come to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies things are a bit better. To me though bitcoin is a bit risky than stocks and bonds however the risk really worth it.
1015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you know the price after ICO? on: August 02, 2018, 06:43:45 AM
How do you know the exchange price after ICO?

For example Qtum. At first the price was 0,35$, Later it was $6,-
From coinmarketcap you can easily get the price of any projects after icos.  You can also check other exchanges platforms and you will see there price against bitcoin,  ethereum or dollar. However most of the tokens price get dumped after icos.
1016  Economy / Speculation / Re: With or without approval of btc/ETFs ,we are positive of bull run. on: August 01, 2018, 08:55:20 PM
The price of bitcoin is showing great resilience even after the recent decline of ETFs by the SEC decision. We must not be moved at all by these few odds. The market will surely pick up greatly again.Staying postitve is the key.In history, there have never been any commodity that it's price never declined. So it is also normal for price of btc to fall and rise. This is a normal market situation and every seasoned trader understands this principle.
The rising and falling of price of bitcoin is a normal thing that happened in every illiquid assets and that is what we are seeing happening in this market.  Bitcoin is going to recover no doubt and EFT approvals is going to come one day. I didn't think it can pull down the market in high ways if it is not approve.
1017  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So I want to get into trading. on: August 01, 2018, 06:21:34 AM
Obviously, I need BTC to get in but it seems like everything is high right now.  Should I wait till BTC is < 2k? Or ETH < 200? I'd like to get in and start trading alt coins.  But for me to maximize my profits in USD I need to wait till BTC is at a reasonable cost.  Or do you guys see it climbing to 3k in the next couple of months?
the current market behavior is a sign that bitcoin is more of bullish trend and for you to invest at the right time  I think you have to look at the entry point around $6800.
1018  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: July 31, 2018, 07:47:55 AM
I have been struggling online for years I think precisely since 2007 till 2016 but could not make anything from online.  But since I come in contact with bitcoin I have made a lot of money and I am still making it. I think cryptocurrencies market is the easiest ways to make money online.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with ethereum? on: July 31, 2018, 07:33:35 AM
Ethereum is currently popular, a lot of people are transacting using Ethereum rather than Bitcoin, but why is the Ethereum price never high?
currently the gas fees is high and most of the tokens are turning to a scam projects and that makes people not to used ethereum like bitcoin.  Ethereum is currently losing against bitcoin in a very high value and I think the best way to make it from this market is coins flipping.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: July 31, 2018, 07:11:59 AM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
For everything to be worthwhile you must spend quality time in other to make it.  Thing did not work the ways we think it should be because we are not ready to spend quality time in developing them.  I find out that we can make it big if we focus our efforts in learning and working for cryptocurrencies.
