It's the FCC regulations that must be stringently adhere to, of which Josh adamantly claimed they were awaiting results back in a couple weeks back in September, for the FCC was still testing the units that weren't even built yet. To date, they still don't have a working unit to send out for testing.
You aren't hinting that BFL/Josh lied to us, are you? He wouldn't! Would be? He couldn't! Could he? >.<# My bad! November 3, and not September. When is the Jalapeno getting FCC approval?
Maybe two weeks? We are waiting for the test lab to issue the test report.
With the bump in power requirements on the MR and the new screen, we had to make changes, although the new screen is already certified. We are doing all the devices at once, since they all share the same board.

The bounty is 10 BTC not 100...
Please accept my apology. I'm going to fix it now. In my mind I was figuring 10 X ~100 BTC, hence the error. No problem it's not me who's the scammer ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) AFAIK only Theymos can scammer-tag people so if I were you I'd send him a PM with all the evidence. I wasn't aware that I needed to PM also. I assumed theymos reads this section periodically. I'll hold off of PMing him, though, to not bother him. Seriously, for I'm sure he gets plenty of PMs from others, thus saving my favors when I really need him. Just trying to be considerate. Thanks for letting me know that that option is available, and will surely exercise that option if this is not looked into within the coming days. The only proof is the link in the OP and that one of his sockpuppet's has already been tagged. ~Bruno K~

I'm doing the UI, but can't find a decent favicon idea... If someone has one...
I even made it transparent for you. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Ffarm9.staticflickr.com%2F8534%2F8605408646_2a1f898a11_t.jpg&t=663&c=DrH1Lm3a5hGiTw) I guess it ain't transparent, but easy to do. The color can easily be changed as well.

I premined prefarted my room with fartcoins. Also I found few blocks in my underpants. Should I broadcast them to network?
You don't broadcast fartcoins, you take them on tour: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fluggagetagtravels.files.wordpress.com%2F2012%2F07%2Fex-officio-underwear.jpg&t=663&c=x3N9is17oyWLRg)

Now you have me a little worried. I actually thought they would be shipping in a week or two. Can anyone tell me if this has to pass UL certification before shipping? Since it is made in the USA I would assume it would have to (since even my desk lamp that cost $9.99 at walmart has that sticker). How long does that cert take? Surely, it does not just take a day or two?
The UL certification is not required by the federal government, but many municipalities require it, thus it's prudent that BFL supply it to be compliant in those municipalities otherwise be fined. It's the FCC regulations that must be stringently adhere to, of which Josh adamantly claimed they were awaiting results back in a couple weeks back in September, for the FCC was still testing the units that weren't even built yet. To date, they still don't have a working unit to send out for testing. But, once approved, any changes to the units must be re-approved, whereupon new labels are made and need to be affixed to all units, of which can be handle at the rate of 500 per day by any autistic employee.

Casings, boards, fans, heatsinks - everything is already built. If they take bigger heatsinks and fans they won't fit in the casings anymore. Looks like somebody got everything needed to raise chickens, but when the animals arrived they realized they were in the skunk business, thus needing different sized pens and larger fans.

There is something i didn't understand in this thread... Why everybody talks about scam ? What is scammy here ? I don't saw author to force someone to give him his money or something... He said when hardware is ready you can pay and get it so lets just wait some time and see... I think scam is when you pay someone and get nothing...
I also had thoughts about developing ASIC, but still cannot get enough funds to start... So if i have posted thread as an announce i will become scammer ?!?!? I think i didn't get it...
The intention is clearly enough to be called scammer. Yes only newbies like you who havent done any research would think thats is just a simple announcement. It's a complex announcement at that. Yes, yet another ASIC announcement. But this time I am a real person with the technology background and here is my LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/MaxAvroutskiASIC is due Fall/Winter 2013 What is the difference? Our initial plan is to sell 50% and run other 50% for our investors. The dude has a technology background proven by his self-penned LinkedIn page of which I've shown was recently altered considerably. Not only is ASIC due Fall/Winter 2013, they were manufactured before the advent of Bitcoin. Our initial plan is to sell 50% and run other 50% for our investors. The above quote is the genius part were no consumers get taken--only the investors, of which have been threatened. In essence, the sentence could be rewritten: Or plan is to not sell 50%, but run off with our investor's other 50%. Full Disclosures: Everything I have penned against Maxxy boy in this thread is truly not my position, for I am only relaying the words by some other entity of which I have signed an NDA to not disclose his/her name. ~Bruno K~

(The reason I post updates here is because my investors do read this forum, but I would like to worn them that if you identify yourself be prepared to be trolled to tears.) Am I reading this correctly, or am I warned out and need to go to bed? Are the investors being threatened to remain silent about their identity? Did I miss the memo as to how a CEO should conduct themselves, especially one that's about to introduce a magnificent product to help secure Bitcoin?

Right, the Thunderbirds. Those were neat. Instant heat death.
I kinda recall that to have the AMD Athlon release the smoke one had to remove the cooler? I worked more with Intel Itanium and Itanium 2 machines and those indeed were beastly: the CPU replacement required the wrenches from the car mechanic's toolset. Their were field reports of fires in white box AMD computers at the time. AMD adamantly denied it was possible, which lead to the video demonstrations that you could cause one to catch fire by removing the heat sink. The problem was that AMD went cheap and didn't have thermal diodes in the silicon. They left it to the motherboard manufacturers to put cheaper thermocouples on the motherboards. So it turned out there were a number of manufacturing defects * that could lead to a flaming Thunderbird. So Josh, do you have thermal diodes on those die? Do you even know how to calibrate a thermal diode properly? * One of those manufacturing defects would be bad underfill. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Hence... http://www.ul.com/global/eng/pages/corporate/contactus/faq/general/background/Do I need to have the UL Mark on my product in the United States? Is there a law stating that my product should have a UL Mark? Does our product require UL testing?
Manufacturers submit products to UL for testing and safety certification on a voluntary basis. There are no laws specifying that a UL Mark must be used. However, in the United States there are many municipalities that have laws, codes or regulations which require a product to be tested by a nationally recognized testing laboratory before it can be sold in their area. UL is the largest and oldest nationally recognized testing laboratory in the United States. UL does not, however, maintain a list of the jurisdictions having such regulations.
If you plan to market your product nationally or internationally, it is advisable to obtain UL Listing. If a limited marketing program is anticipated, check with the municipal office having jurisdiction in the particular areas to learn the local retail ordinances or product installation requirements applicable in that area.
Many companies make it their policy to obtain UL Listing not only to minimize the possibility of local non-acceptance, but also as a matter of corporate policy and commitment to minimize the possibility of risk in the use of their products. Why the hell do you need anti-virus software? You're not stupid enough to keep your wallet on a Windows box are you?
This. Installing "antivirus" software is a sure sign of n00bdom. It says that you have no faith in your ability to retain control of your own system. Us real h4x0rz never use the stuff. Sure... and you are one of the guys that disable javascript just in case some virus will try to penetrate your system? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I think you meant Java and not JS.

Here's an idea!
1 BTC for only $200 USD. The reason so cheap is because I mine them. Immediate transfer!
That way the seller would be able to deliver and make 100% profit.

Fresh on the Bitcoin scene, with a recent track record of selling world coins via three eBay accounts under different names, and has gone by no less than six different names that I'm aware of. I did find five more on Facebook, but the proof isn't definitive with the exception of Google images linking one of his profiles using variants of Max.
For all practical purposes, his eBay accounts are spotless, and his coin businesses are viable, albeit why not just one? This fact alone does not qualify Max to oversee the building of ASIC-based Bitcoin mining rigs.
There have been complaints in the past pertaining to his other enterprises, thus should be considered when dealing with him. Of all the names he's used in the past, and currently, it's hard to figure out exactly who we're dealing with here. An investor(s) can easily make the mistake and past bitcoins to an entity that could easily disappear in plain site.

I just submitted a thread to the scammer section because rockso has not honored this bounty: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=161001.new#newTo not be tagged as a scammer, all rockso has to do is declare a winner and pay the 100 BTC bounty. So easy, even a caveman like roskso can do. If he desires, he can meet me anywhere in Chicago he likes to thank me over a brewsky. ~Bruno K~

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=132029.0Off all the time I've been here, I've not once contacted mods/admin via the report-to-moderator option (I don't believe), nor started a thread in this section. Hope I did it correctly. My heart aches that I have to do this against a fellow Illinoisan--NOT! ~Bruno K~ EDIT: I changed the title from 100 BTC to 10 BTC. See Post #3. My apologies!
