I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos. So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around? i just let them to stay in my wallet and wait for price rise, would be dumb to gamble( and probably lose them) them or so, i like to see more and more money in my wallet then price rises, so i won't change that and i will keep my idle bitcoins for longer, maybe i will keep them for some time and will sell them only if price will go to 1000$ If you are to sell only at the price tag of $1000, you need to have lot patience if it doesn't happen in the month of halving. |

Even at just 500 dollar there are enough sell orders to keep the price there for years.

- At least one Chinese exchange will be shut down

I will not sell at current price for sure, as I believe that price would be better in next few months and halving will show us all time high so will prefer to hold at a moment.

That is very hard to predict for what the value will be after 4 years. You can never know what will happen later in the future.
A currency is always changing and that is quite bad to expect for what is going to happen. It can be a lot of worth or it can be down.
I think in 2020 bitcoin will be spend at the world, and more merchant will be join to accept bitcoin and if more merchant accept it, and more transaction at bitcoin, rate will be may 1000$ is enough. 500 dollar should be possible if the chinese consumer markets steps into bitcoin. Although there is no guarantee this will eventually happen it could give bitcoin a very very big boost.

i have been back and forth with my opinion about the possibility of another big rise and reaching $1000 again but these days i am more convinced that it will happen in the near future maybe even this year.
Sooner or later we will see the $1000 again if Bitcoin keeps on growing in terms of users/adoption and infrastructure. The fundamentals are looking good. SegWit ill be implemented the coming weeks, Lightning Network seems to make great progress.Furthermore block reward will get cut in half in july and if demand stays the same or keeps rising a price increase is inevitable.So be patient and don't play the short quick profit game. Exactly and there is a full possibility that we will see this value to bitcoin at the end of the year, as it is expected that price will increase at the time of halving and will be more higher at the year end. I think the price of bitcoin in 2016 could reach $500 at least. because the current prices are not too far to reach $500, much less we will pass some important things in 2016.

At the time of halving, the price will be more than $600. The SegWit will come out some time this month. Support for price at this level is showing that there is enough money flowing into bitcoin to support prices you are talking about, i also agree. I even think we might break 1000 this year , i just hope it doesnt crash back down like last time. I don't feel that this is the right time to sell as price is not good enough at a moment and if we sell now then it will be a unprofitable decision to make so its better to hold for some time.
Price is not low. It also gives you good profit, now at present if you don't have patience go for a selling for your requirement else hold for few more months and go for selling, there are possibilities to get some additional profit. |
