1021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: March 21, 2016, 12:10:37 PM
Bitcoin will be more powerful by then, and it would be recognized on a global level and of course the rpice would be much higher in the year 2020.

Yes and it will be a lot bigger due to the market is getting bigger for the bitcoin, I think there will be much more local stores where you can pay with the bitcoin itself.
Its all a matter of time before this all happens!

Yes now we don't have to wait too long as bitcoin is growing rapidly and we are finding more users in it so it will be more popular and widely accepted in future.
1022  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: March 20, 2016, 10:04:24 PM
I think fiat will always be used by the majority of the people as bitcoin is really very new to maximum of them and it will take time for them to adopt it as a currency.
1023  Economy / Speculation / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 20, 2016, 10:01:51 PM
All facts saying that bitcoin will keep progressing and growing. Sure it's unpredicteble but anyway looking back in past we will see that bitcoin's price keep rising and i doubt that's smth will change.
I think it is not a fact. but people say like it it's just speculation from many people.
we still can only hope that it happens. I have no doubt about the future of bitcoin
Yeah these are speculations but keep remember that these speculations are not by the dreamers but a large number of them are financial experts and they are saying that the price will increase.

Yeah and that is the reason we are holding our coins for halving as majority of us have a feeling that we will see all time high price by halving so that we can sell at that time.
1024  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 20, 2016, 09:59:05 PM
Looking at the history of both I would choose to invest in gold as I don't want to experiment with my money and my investments, I will play safe and invest into gold.
for history bitcoin was 7 years old then their historynya still very short mate. gold certainly has a better history because they are thousands of years old. we must look at its potential
But if a person is of the view to start a long term trade then he only will opt for gold while in trading with bitcoin you will not need to give some extra time to earn with that because of its price fluctuation.

Traders will always choose to trade with bitcoin as it  is volatile in nature and it gives opportunity to make quick profits, but low risk takers will always choose gold.
1025  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: March 20, 2016, 09:56:06 PM
Probably other cause:  Due to the long time that transactions are taking as the network grows.

This.

Given what is going on in the world right now (China recession and capital controls, oil countries like Venezuela having 700% inflation, Brazil in trouble and so on), BTC should be flying. it's not because of this blocksize thing.

I think people will be patient for a few more months, but after that will look for another coin that meets their needs better.

Yeah and that is the reason people don't have faith in bitcoin as it can be easily get replaced by any new or innovative currency which might be better then  bitcoins.
1026  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 20, 2016, 09:53:17 PM
Well i would consider left my real job if i were able to get 2 btc montly,if i get 20 btc years would be amazing for sure, but montly i guess is just some people and just happens on the whales pump.Soo this is rare and very difficult to reach those ammount, with eth on the last month at 200k if you invested 2 btc on it and you hold it til 2000k you hade made 20btc easy, but well the most of us had sold a lot coins at that price ,we wouldnt imagine it could reach 15x the previous value, but all now know that eth can go up easy with some forced pump, soo collect your coins and wait.

I would do it for a good salary. For me bitcoin is quite risky and I rather would have a low income with job security, which is hard with bitcoin. However with a good compensation I would be able to exchange that for a job which is bitcoin related.

If anyone is paying or promising you fixed monthly salary in bitcoin then you can go for it, but doing it on freelancing would be surely very risky.
1027  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: March 20, 2016, 09:51:19 PM
How to earn money with bitcoin ?

One of best ways is to buy some bitcoins and keep tem for some time, price of bitcoin will really rise soon, like after halving, other ways are to watch videos for bitcoins, solve captchas and so but they won't bring you so many bitcoins

If you want to make descent amount of money then signature campaign is the key as you can earn on weekly basis and now there are few campaigns that pays you daily.

Along with what you mentioned if you are technically sound or familiar with the programming knowledge then go for the freelancing job which along with your skill getting developed you will get the reward(money,money,money)..... Hope will satisfy your expectation....

Yeah if you have multiple skills like programming, design or graphics then you can make good amount of money by offering services to the people.
1028  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 20, 2016, 09:49:15 PM
If you will never sell your coins then how will you enjoy the profits? It is highly recommended to sell your coins on regular basis so that we can see much higher price of bitcoin in future.

Yeah selling at a right time is the most important thing but we don't  know which is the right time to sell as price keeps on moving up and down on regular basis.
1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: March 20, 2016, 09:47:28 PM
Should I believe in Bitcoin ?
I have 10k $ and maybe going to buy  , but I doubt the further development of Bitcoin and I'm afraid to lose money! Can you convince me or dissuaded from buying?

If your afraid then i think bitcoin is not an investment for you, not at the 10000 level anyway, mybe you should try something a little less volitle.  If you are looking short term it def is not for you.,
I think he should go for gold as it is stable and less volatile in compare to gold and returns are guaranteed over a period of time, so if you have patience then invest in gold.
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: March 20, 2016, 09:44:08 PM
I would save my money into Government bonds which is safe place to save your money and returns are not too high but I will earn some assured returns.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: March 20, 2016, 09:40:20 PM
Give away the loan to people  who needs it and you can make good money from it or just hold and sell when the price is higher.
1032  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: March 20, 2016, 09:38:22 PM
Gold is much older that bitcoin saying the truth so it has more reputation and people more trust in gold rather than in bitcoin, but I personally like more investing and holding bitcoin, as the price changes often and i expect a profit in the near future.

Bitcoin is always good if you want to make quick money, as price fluctuations allows us to earn it while bitcoin is stable and you need to wait long to earn profits from it.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 19, 2016, 03:40:02 PM
India won the toss and chose to bowl , Overs are reduced to 18 overs , lets see who can win today, i am betting more than 6 runs in first over for Pakistan , what you guys say?

it is a damn spinning wicket. the ball is turning like what warne used to turn  Grin .. pak does have good spinners too. its going to be interesting

Yeah its spinning madly, I haven't seen any Indian spinner spinning the ball in that drastic way, I think pitch will have more turn in second half, not easy to bat on lets see what happens.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you gambled? on: March 19, 2016, 03:37:18 PM
Till date I have gambled with 0.5 btc but in very small amounts with very small odds, and luckily I have won majority of times, so even today I keep on gambling with small amount.
1035  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: March 19, 2016, 03:34:01 PM
Why not? let's say there are 20 million bitcoins in existence in the future, every bitcoin is 200k, then the total market cap is 4 trillion (4000 billion), this may seem like a lot but it's actually quite modest for a global payment network system... Smiley

since dreaming it's free, yes we can dream about this, but sincerely i don't believe bitcoin will ever reach 200.000$/coin
I dont think that it will happen, that is almost impossible and very hard to get it because it is a very high value.
We all hope later of course that it will be more worth but it wont be that high or maybe after 20 years or something.

No mate even after 20 years I don't think that this value is achievable as it is too high to expect, I think maximum we can expect is around 10k not more then that.

If Bitcoin reaches 10K, I will be happy. That is still a 25x growth from here. No mean feat, even if it does take time.
However, that doesn't stop us from dreaming.  Smiley

Yes that's true nothing wrong in dreaming and who knows what future holds for us as bitcoin is so unpredictable that it might reach to that value in future. Grin
1036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell all stocks, buy Bitcoin or Gold on: March 19, 2016, 03:29:30 PM
right now it is a good time to buy bitcoin, the price has just gone down a couple of bucks which makes it a good low price to buy before it starts going back up to $420 again.

but i would still keep at least 10% in gold, cause i like to diversify my portfolio.

Yes diversifying investment is the best thing to do as you never which product will give you best returns in future or which product will fail so its good to ready to with multiple products.
1037  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 19, 2016, 03:24:33 PM
holding bitcoins, but is anyone holding on another other coins like ether or factom? the real question is for how long?

when everyone screams Sell, it's a great time to buy. So buy and hold the bitcoins for somelong.

buy bitcoins and put it into coldstorage and stay away from gambling , hyip or any investment , it will be worth for next years
Yes indeed. It has now indeed a good time to invest. Because you can make some more money later if you now buy it at a low price.
So that will be good. But that is also risky because you can also lose some money if the value will be going down.

It's very simple. You don't lose anything if you don't sell. If you sell in panic, then yes, you'll constantly lose money.

Better yet just hold it as much as possible and dont let your guard down when theres news about the price decrease.

A lot of the "traders" here are too weak and they forget all the advice that they have received once their brain goes into panic mode. Some people never change. Lips sealed

this is sad but true.
there is a lot of panic traders in bitcoin market who sell on a small FUD.
i think it is best we take advantage of this situation and buy when they sell, it is their own loss.
Everyone is holding and that is very good. Because it has not the right moment to sell it because the value is very low.
I hope later that the value will rise in the future and that we all can make some good profit with it.

If everyone is holding and not selling it then how can we expect higher price of bitcoin in future, it is recommended to keep on spending your coins to see better price i future.

If you hold your coin then there will be a shortage in bitcoin with that the price will go up,if you cant find anyone to sell their bitcoin then the one who is selling will surely sell it at a high price.

And if thousands hundreds of the faithful feel the way you do... the supply of coin post halving will surely be lower than it is today, let's all just keep this idea under our hats, so word doesn't get out to the plebs.  Cool

Most bitcoin user are lurking here in the forum and they are taking some pointers from all the speculation that is coming, there is no use keeping it a secret.

Yeah and majority of us are holding and expecting much higher price in next couple of months so that they can sell at that time and earn some profits out of it.
1038  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: March 19, 2016, 03:19:07 PM
Maybe it is a boring year, may be not.

I will love to see Bitcoin more mainstream adopted, more services and all that. However, I am content with the situation right now; can earn some, can sell them for cash, and have a nice value. A year just like the one that have passed will not be bad in my view.

Even if Bitcoin remains a little exclusive as it is now it would be good.

Oh yes, bitcoin will be very popular this year, more and more users and stores will use them this year

Also how van it be boring year if we will have halving? So many falls and pumps only in 3 months of 2016, it's very good year for bitcoin so far

Yes this year seems to be very interesting as we are also having halving in this year so we can expect much better price and this would be the best year for bitcoin I guess.
1039  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: March 19, 2016, 03:06:43 PM
i have a little doubt about btc price in future.should i save btc for increasing value of bitcoin?

or maybe price of btc will be down in 5-10 year
just imagine about future of btc and tell me should i save bitcoins for future or not...?

Well if you're afraid that price will fall down to 150 or less the sell them now and be happy later

And if you trust us then keep them of course, because i think that price will rise this year for sure, maybe even to 700$ at end of 2016

Yeah we can expect that price by the end of this year, as halving will take value much higher and we can expect by the end of the year price can be around $1k.

Saving btc till halving can be a good decision as selling now is not profitable enough and we can experience higher price at the time of halving so sell at that time.
1040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise? on: March 19, 2016, 03:01:39 PM
Should I sell my BTC or wait till it goes up and why do you think it will go up?

Well if you want just to get more money using bitcoins, then you shouldn't sell when price is low, because you will lose your money, sell only when they're expencice, and yes price will rise now so you should keep them

Yeah selling at current price wont be profitable enough as the price is not too high at a moment so if you hold at a moment and sell at the time of halving can give you higher profits.
That would be a wiser plan. The bitcoin price should increase after the halving to keep mining profitable.

Yes bitcoin will rise at the time of halving as we are seeing slow growth from now, so we can see bitcoin in a better position at the time of halving so its better to hold by that time.
