DHL shipping ist bei mir leider ein KO Kriterium, die landen automatisch beim Zoll und werden dort bei der kleinsten Beanstandung retourniert :-(
Hab auch ein paar blizzards bekommen letzte Woche. Mit DHL. Insgesamt hat das Versenden aus "Shenzuan" oder wie das heisst über Hongkong nach Deutschland bis zu meiner Haustür laut DHL Tracking keine 24 Stunden gedauert. Ich bin fast vom Glauben abgefallen. So schnell hab ichs gar nicht erwartet ;-) Das war dann DHL Express, oder? In meinem Fall ist das problemloser, die haben einen HUB in Leipzig und fragen ggf. im Vorfeld nach und wollen Unterlagen. Über den Weg ist schon mal was angekommen  USPS hingegen scheint es hier mit normal DHL ausuzliefern, da sind dann die regionalen Zollstationen zuständig... UPS/FedEx usw haben meines Wissens auch zentrale HUBs wo die Zollabfertigung durchläuft (meine Miner werden meist in Köln geprüft). |

Du willst nicht ernsthaft noch mit Grafikkarten Scrypt minen, oder?
Selbst die Zeus Miner halte ich persönlich für überholt, da ineffizient (aber das ist Geschmackssache).
Aber auf jeden Fall Finger weg von GraKas, sofern du keinen kostenlosen Strom hast.
also ich mach immer noch profit mit x11 oder x13... der zeus läßt sich wohl um 50-100% übertakkten... Der Zeus ist imho ein Scrypt Miner, mit X11 wirst Du da vermutlich nicht viel werden, oder irre ich mich da jetzt? Für X11 gibt es meines Wissens in der Tat bisher nur Grafikkarten, aber hier ist ja die Suche nach Scrypt Minern. |

Does anyone have an idea what to do when the miner does not turn on again? After setting it up it hashed a few minutes, beeped and turned off since then. I already re-plugged the cables and cards are also all seated correctly... Edit: After waiting ~20 Minutes I started another try. Switched it on and suddenly it started to work. I was able to access the web frontend but for some reason one blade did not show any temperature:  A few seconds later the miner powered off by itself and does not power on again (for ~20 Minutes or so I assume/hope). Can this be the problem? I did some more tests. For some reason the miner seems to run stable as long as only 9 cards are inserted. It does not matter which cards and which slots are used (at least it seems so) as long as only 9 cards are inserted. As soon as there are 10 cards inserted the miner immediately turns off after the "start beep" (the beep which comes after it is fully started and the display has been "initiated"). Can a "weak" PSU be the reason? Unfortunately I do not have a 1000+ W PSU here to test it... To find out if had a "broken" PSU I ordered another Enermax Revolution 87+ PSU (same one as normally is built in a S2). The same happened as with the original one, after starting up it shuts down. So I added a kind of electricity meter to see how much power the miner requires. This is with 9 blades attached:  And this is with 10 blades attached:  As you can see the miner draws ~1040W until it turns off. The PSU is a 1000W PSU, maybe this can be the problem? As mentioned before the system is running stable when only running with 9 blades... |

I just installed the latest software and also did a git update. But after changing pool information my hashrate looks like this:  Although I wouldn't mind having that hashrate they are not the correct values. Right after starting the miner (before entering my pool data) it shows correct values while hashing with the default parameters. Looking at the pool only ~22MH/s arrive here for a A2Mini. Is there anyone else using the new version? |

Well, I do not have one specific out of service blade. It does not matter which 9 blades are inserted. But when I insert all 10 blades the miner turns off. I tested it with different cards which I put aside...

I have a problem with my Antminer S2 (Batch 4) hoping someone has an idea.
After powering it I was able to access it and enter network & mining configuration.
The miner started to work, after some minutes it beeped and turned off.
Although I unplugged all power cables, plugged them in again it does not turn on again.
Does anyone have an idea what can be wrong? I assume it is the PSU since after switching it on it stay absolutely nothing happens.
I would appreciate any suggestions.

Stimmt, jetzt wo du es sagst. Sind dann wohl 55nm vs 28nm. Man spart zwar beim Einkauf, dafür ist der Stromverbrauch ungleich höher. Muss dann jeder für sich ausrechnen ob es sich lohnt |

Mal so interessehalber:
Warum verbrauchen diese Dinger soviel Strom im Gegensatz zu den A2 Minern? Dasselbe betrifft Zeusminer, da habe ich auch komisch geschaut.
Der Hashra 26MH/s hat einen Verbrauch von etwa 820W, der A2 Mini (24-30MH/s) verbraucht ~250-330W (je nach Taktung).
Der A2 (90 MH/s) kommt mit etwa 800W aus während der 78MH/s Hashra Miner mit ca. 2500W die Lampen zum flackern bringt.
Warum zum Geier sind die Hashra bzw. Zeusminer derartige Stromfresser?

Achso, Dir geht es um's Hosten lassen. Da bin ich gerade überfragt, sorry. Da die Dinger aber nicht soo viel Strom fressen (A2 = ~750W) kann man hier aber ggf. auch Alternativen finden, denke ich. |
