1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: May 05, 2017, 01:23:05 PM
But of course there are various shops and businesses in Europe and the US that accept Bitcoin. There was a time someone here, I think Lenny, made a website collating various shops and businesses across the world that accept bitcoins for their goods and services.

The use of Bitcoin has actually been over emphasized. Has anyone come to realize that the dominance of Bitcoin in the crypto market has dropped to about 57% today as against 87% it was two months ago?

But it depends on the products or stuff that you are going to sell if it is going to be popular to the public, or to bitcoin users. It would be better if you are just going to make an online shop, so that you could save more money and you could manage your time compare if you are going to make a shop on the city, it is going to be hassle, and depressing if no one is buying on your shop.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 05, 2017, 12:56:42 PM
The Government, this is one of the reason why not all of the countries didn't recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency, if only the bitcoin ETF was approved way back on march, then probably most of the countries now already accepts bitcoin as a currency, and bitcoin's price would increase more on every day that will pass by. But I know that this year, if we are going to propose again the bitcoin's ETF. the chance of it getting approved is more higher than the last time.

Japan already accepts bitcoin, and this is just a start, bitcoin will continue to spread it wings and will continue to fly higher to the sky, we just have to keep on waiting, and keep on saving it, because there would be a time that bitcoin's price would be really expensive and we are going to be a millionaire in just an instant, I'm sure of that.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: May 05, 2017, 12:30:34 PM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

Try the offline wallets like Electrum, because it is much safer than the online wallets like blockchain, because online wallets are very vulnerable to the hackers, and especially if you do have a lot of bitcoin, storing it online would make a big risk for you. if you want back ups, then make a paper wallet but make sure that you are going to keep it on the safe place where you wouldn't forget it as time pass by.

Also you could try the hardware wallet, though it is a little bit expensive, but you are sure that your bitcoin is in the safe place. Smiley

Relax guys. All information on how to add/withdraw tokens will be given well in advance of distribution to investors or bounty happening. We can't give the information right now, the sale is still going.
when the ICO wil be end ... ?
now how about collected ?

Try to read their ANN thread, all the answers on your questions that you are asking are all in there, just take some time to read it, not just randomly asking question here in this thread just to have something to say on this thread. The countdown of the ICO is in their website, you could just simply log in there and you could also join the slack team, so you could ask a lot of questions regarding on this project.
1025  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lending bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 11:02:07 AM
This game died years ago. Hardly anybody is willing to lend bitcoin's any more. The lending section here in the marketplace was full of scammers.

Yeah, there is a lot of scammers there if you are going to be naïve and just going to recklessly lend your bitcoin to someone who would say to you that he is going to return it to you on the deal that you guys made, but the real thing is, he us just going to scam since he knows that you are too naïve and don't know what to do on lending. But it would be better if you guys are going to have an escrow for this, just to be sure that the transactions that you guys are going to make is legit.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: May 02, 2017, 03:50:46 PM
It may sound weird but I am making good amount of money from gambling as I find it the most easiest way to earn bitcoins in quick time and I am sure most of the people will find it risky way to earn bitcoins but I am very much comfortable in earning with gambling.

I have seen many people who are earning a living from gambling so I think even you are one of them who is able to make regular money from it as gambling is not a cup of tea of everyone and most of the people will prefer to gamble only for fun.

He could only said such thing because he is lucky on it, but I am sure that if he is just like most of the gamblers, that always losing most of the time, then he is going to discourage us to not gamble anymore, since we are just going to waste our money if we are going to continue like this, but since it is the other way around for him, then that is why.

If he is comfortable in gambling, I'm comfortable on the Signature Campaign, because I am sure that I could earn money in the safe way and in the sure way, unlike in gambling.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ICO]EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: May 02, 2017, 03:17:46 PM
here i have one question , to recieve encryptotel tokens in our wallet (myetherwallet) we
have to add any custome tokens ? if yes then please give details like, address etc.

You are too advance abouy worrying the eth contract for ETT. They will send the detail immediately after the ICO ends. Because the distribution will happened 1 week after the end. So no need to rush for that thing because it is still useless without the distribution. Just focus first on promotion. Wink

I think everybody is excited about the current Eth base project like Encryptotel. Let us be patient, I think all is taken care of. This is a huge project and millions of dollars already invested, let us just wait the devs announcement.
Wait wait I am not worrying about anything I am just asking, what if they send bounty tokens and I not received them so?? And I asked same question to sylon( a bounty manager) he also don't know about this he told me to ask here.that's all ☺
it is too early to talk about how to add custom tokens.

Yeah right, and they are going to inform us on how to do it, they are going to announce it here, for us to have idea on what we are going to do when we are goin to sell our token, since there is a lot of newbies here, I mean, the bitcoin users which is this their first time to join an Altcoin Signature Campaign. But it is better this way, because having knowledge on what do we need to do is great than to have nothing at all.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: May 01, 2017, 05:45:16 AM
Firstly newbies always search how to get free bitcoin rather than start buying bitcoin and getting used to it. Since its practically not easily available to get free so people waste lot of time on those faucets, gambling etc and end up in a loss.

They are just a newbie, they don't have the money to buy bitcoins, I mean, most of the newbie here don't have the money to buy one, that is why they want to know bitcoin to earn money through it. But it would be better if you are going to buy bitcoin and hold it in your wallet 'till the right time comes when you could withdraw it.

We've been all there, when we were just earning bitcoin through FAUCETS, and other HYIPs out there, we didn't know this Forum that time that is why, so, we don't have to blame the newbies if they do FAUCETS.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins rising on: May 01, 2017, 04:12:10 AM
What? You guys live in cave?

Most altcoins - no, almost all altcoins - are technically superior

And BTC is getting lacerated in scaling war, too. Why would a neutral person, who does not know BTC is "the first, the one and only", decide to spend over $1000 on a bitcoin, if a DSH, an LTC, an XMR or an ETH coin is so much cheaper and offers so much faster transactions and functionality?

I love BTC but being a bit more humble and realistic would be good for Core and BU and all of us. Angry

I disagree, not all of the altcoins are superior, because there is a lot of Altcoins which have been removed on the exchangers because no one uses it, or its value is not that big that is why it was eliminated. But it is true that some of the Altcoins do have a great price, but not Superior, bitcoin is still the superior one amongst all the Altcoins here in the cryptocurrency world.

The price of bitcoin right now is continuously increasing, and will keep on increasing and increasing since its population is also increasing day by day.

634 btc raised so far. Not a bad start. I'll be jumping in shortly before the bonus round comes to an end.

Looks like the bitcoin users who join this project will earn big, 634 bitcoin is not that, it is a big amount to be honest, and I know that it will increase in the next day since the users and investors are also increasing as well as the funds that they are raising. I think it is because they have an interesting project, that is why it is easily to poke someone's attention, and of course the way that they are advertising their project is really effective.

1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: April 27, 2017, 03:57:37 PM
It's better to store your bitcoin in your bitcoin wallet more safe and more trusted than investing but we know that now all cryptocurrency exchanger are trusted there are also exchanger that scam money when you do exchange.

It depends on the wallet that you are going to use to be honest, though it is still depends on you on where you are comfortable, but if I were you, I'm going to store some of my bitcoins in the web wallet and the rest will be in the hardware wallet or in the white paper, because it is safer than most of the wallet here in the crypto world. But still, you have to be careful on where you are going to save or going to keep your private key because it is the most important thing that you needed to open your wallet.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 27, 2017, 03:06:36 PM
I mostly use paper wallets to store my bitcoins because I believe they are safer. I don't trust online exchanges or web wallets with my coins.

It's similar to the hardware wallet since they could use offline and online, the only problem about the paper wallet is the chance of losing it is more higher, compare to the hardware wallet. But they are both more preferable to use since they are invisible and invulnerable to hackers, unlike the web wallets which is easily to hack because it is connected and always working only if you have an internet connection.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: April 27, 2017, 02:28:18 PM
Bitcoin will have a future, because Bitcoin is the future. This is a cryptocurrency, without which we will not be able to live in 20 years.

We are not sure if bitcoin is really the future, I mean, bitcoin won't be the whole future that we are all looking forward to happen, it is just a recipe of the future, bitcoin will just contribute something to secure the bright future for this world, but we also have to contribute something, the environment that we are living is getting worst every day that is passing by, the rice fields have been replaced by the buildings and other structure that is needed to build for the economic development.

1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 27, 2017, 01:59:27 PM
We cannot force people to use bitcoins if they are aware about bitcoins and find it beneficial then they can start using it and if not then we should not care about them as we have our own problems in life so we cannot afford to keep on wasting time behind them.

It is not that we are forcing them to use bitcoin, we are just sharing the blessings or the knowledge that we do have to earn good amount of money by just joining the Signature Campaigns here in this forum and the other ways where we could earn bitcoin, and having many bitcoins means that you could have a lot of fiat if you are going to convert it, that is why I would rather to earn bitcoin than to earn fiat at all because I could earn more money through bitcoin.

What important here is we have discussed it to them, it is not that we wasted our time to them, because they are the one who wasted the opportunity to earn more money on bitcoin, it is their fault, not us.
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 in a million on: April 27, 2017, 01:17:02 PM
I wouldn't mine nor invest in bitcoin even if i get to travel back to the past (with memory loss), because at that time bitcoin was simply worthless and useless except to buy some cheap unbranded dried meat called bitjerky made by a joe six-pack.

It is a crazy thought, if you can travel time, you should store it and use it for the future, because then the bitcoin carries a very low value, it is even equal to 1/6 present value. If you store bitcoin in the past, you will become an extremely wealthy at the present time. However, it is only wishes that never happen.

A very crazy thought that @Dorky have there, time travel with memory loss? what is the sense of travelling back to the time when bitcoin is completely worthless if you have memory loss? it is very ironic that you are going to travel through time and you are going to have memory loss, such a waste of time, lol. Because the reason why we are going to do time travel (if possible) is to earn bitcoin, and save it and go back to the present to be a wealthy man in an instant.

But, if this time travel is going to be a real one, I am sure that we need to spend a huge amount of money to make this come true, it would be a big risk but it is going to worth it if it is going to be successful.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 27, 2017, 12:45:26 PM
All the Bitcoin users dream about incredibly fast transactions and low fees, but unfortunately, we can choose only one option. Sо, we probably need to put up

Yes we don't have choice, as the progress and pumping of bitcoins price. We are the ones to adjust, it's already set that the fees should be amounting to that specific price. It's not that bad to pay that high considering the price of bitcoin is high too, it's just like a payback. But this is a good help if ever the fees will be lesser.

The charge rate of bitcoin transactions has been defaulted, it will always be within that range and will not be changed. So, as bitcoin prices soar, that means we have to pay a higher fee. However, the amount of btc we pay does not change. So, there is not anything worth complaining about it.

Correct, because it is not fair if the transaction fees won't increase while the price of bitcoin is increasing, and besides, it is not fair also, if only the miners is the one who won't be benefited by bitcoin. And miner are the ones who's making the process in the blockchain, and without them, we couldn't process any transaction all by ourselves.

That is why they are important in the community, and high transaction fees is just normal, but, if we are only earning a little, then it would be a big deal, the technique here is to change the way that we are doing to earn bitcoin.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have 0.5 BTC how to make money in Investment. on: April 26, 2017, 03:24:00 PM
Hello Everyone,

I have 0.5 BTC, and I don't have time to do trading, So I decided to invest in casino sites, can anyone please explain to me how to invest in online casinos. And how much profit I will get it per month, Which site is better to invest. Please explain me in detail.

Thank you.
[1]I am not sure make investments into online casino are good ideas for make profit because as
[2]we know gambling game is just for fun than making profit from gambling,
on online casino will be difficult to getting constant winning and profit because it depend on our lucky
but in trading you just need long time prime to make analysis technical for making prediction of price,
if you don't have much time for trading.
[1]Investment in casino sites is a good option to make money, but you must have patience because your money won't turned doubled in 1 week while you invested your money. for @OP You can read on here about someone who have invested his money for around 37 weeks and got good profit https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0
[2]investing has nothing to do with gamble. OP is clearly asking how much profit he can get while he invested his money, he doesn't want to gamble it.

I would rather save and hold my bitcoin than investing it on the Online Casinos, because the profit that you could make in that is not that big compare to if you are going to hold your bitcoin and going to wait until its price is going to the sky again. Because investing it on the Online Casinos is a very risky one, though it depends on the site also, but it is still your decision.

If you really wanted to earn or multiply your money because you don't know anything where you could earn bitcoin, then it is better if you are going to give it a shot, try not to invest it all. Smiley
1039  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2017, 02:31:36 PM

It looks like it is moving into HYIP

This line made me curious to the point of checking the site if Freebitcoin is really moving into HYIP and after browsing their site, i see they offer these stuffs
Quote
ANNUAL INTEREST RATE of 4.08%
We also pay you 25% referral commissions on any interest earned by your referrals!

I do not see anything ponzi here.  I think this is jut a program where they offer that percentage so that users will leave their BTC at their exchange, though I know they are reputable since they have been in the industry for several years, but having our BTC in our own wallet is still better though we will miss that 4.08% profit.

That 25% is just a referral bonus scheme that is quite average since there are lots of Casino that offers way above that.
Owner of this faucet is doing very hard work for this here on this forum for long time I don't think he will do any mistake which bring him down and tag as scammer some people creating misleadings and not reading this all if they read before post here then hope many problems could solve and no one call this Ponzi or HYIP

This is ridiculous, how come that freebitco.in would be an HYIP? it's been running for a very long time, and it is one of the legit faucets that I've used the first time I entered this world of cryptocurrency, they are paying the players and the users on their site, unlike the other faucets that pays really good, but is just a scam because you can't withdraw your earnings and will just appear to your withdrawal is "PENDING"

There is no reason also for the freebitco,in to become an HYIP, because it is better the way it was before and right now, so, it would be better if you are going to confirm it before you say something about something.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Daily use of bitcoin? on: April 25, 2017, 03:31:12 PM
I sometimes use my bitcoin for doing online shopping. There are some e commerce companies that accept bitcoin. Sometimes i use it for doing mobile recharge. But I try not to spend my bitcoin. I prefer it as an investment.
And then what? Using bitcoin in our everyday living is not really worth it, trust me, because look, if we are going to save and hold the bitcoins that we are earning per day, per week or per month, then we could have profits in the long run because of the bitcoin's price is always fluctuating, compare to if we are going to spend on our daily use, then, it would just be a waste or it is like we are throwing away the profits that we could make in the long run out of it.

As long as we could use fiat on buying things that we want or we need, there is no reason why we should use our bitcoin, unless, the things that we wanted to buy can be only bought by bitcoin, in my opinion.
