I have seen a few misconceptions about what the Crave market will be, reposting ICMs idea from a few weeks back As an example, say I put up 10,000 CRAVE collateral and open a market.
I name it Arctic Pyramid. I am allowed to upload a small 256x256 logo for my market. I decide to set my combined fully loaded fee at 3% per transaction between buyer and vendor.
I setup my categories, specify my escrow stealth address and my encrypted messaging support address and open for business.
Vendor X, goes in the wallet and browses the markets and decides to place his listing in Arctic Pyramid. He chooses a category and lists his product or service with all the details.
Buyer Z, goes in the wallet and browses the available markets, and selects the Arctic Pyramid market, and finds Vendor X's listing and places an order.
He creates a 2-of-3 multi-sig transaction containing the amount of the product or service and the market fee and sends it to the vendor, who signs it, and sends it to a key derived from the market stealth address.
After some auto-timeout period the market node will auto-sign and release the funds to the vendor, unless the buyer opens a dispute before the timeout period expires. Or, the buyer could choose to sign and release the funds before the timeout expires and close out the transaction.
After a transaction is successfully closed out the buyer and vendor may leave feedback for each other (similar to how localbitcoins works).
Maybe Vendor Y goes in the wallet and makes a listing for a product or service that I disallow or don't approve of. I can choose to block the listing, as part of my responsiblity as a market owner to be a curator.
Maybe when I open Arctic Pyramid I decide it is going to be only for art and my fee will be 15% because I provide concierge-level service through my encrypted messaging support address. And so I aggressively curate my market to make sure it is always clean with only high quality works of art, and I make sure to respond fast to customers through the support address and give them the VIP treatment. (I don't know anything about art actually, so maybe that's a bad example, but you get the idea).

Congratulations on the burn everyone! great work by all Here are some BLUR expectations/reality: Nothing really new to know but thought id type up some thoughts in case no one else did  80k BLUR were made by burning near 15k CRAVE. anyone holding BLUR can use their crave private key and darkpoold (darkpoold setup instructions here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=997356.msg11249218#msg11249218 ) to set a buy or sell price for BLUR, create and issue assets, place bets, and do basically anything that is possible on XCP counterparty or XDG dogeparty platforms from a command line environment. Because command line is intimidating for many (including me) Hopefully in the near future twe get a web wallet either forked or created so you can transact BLUR in a more user friendly environment. some community members are working on that currently though there is no date set for a release. BLUR will not be used in the urge marketplace ICM is developing. A reasonable example use care for BLUR could be: BLUR could be used to issue an asset for a "crave urge marketplace" share. people could buy stakes in that marketplace by buying shares in an "urge marketplace" asset issued and paying for those shares with BLUR. The BLUR would be sold to fund the marketplace's 10,000 CRAVE escrow requirement. The dev has been away for less than two days now and you guys are already talking about a takeover? Give him more time to come back and update us.
We can wait, question is how long? The Dev needs to be aware that this project is going to move forward with or without him. The way I see it, looks as if he is okay with leaving the coin stranded on the side of the road with us in the passenger seat. Now either he gets this vehicle moving again or we call AAA and take the wheel. So seriously, how long should we wait? Were all invested in this, what's wrong with putting together a backup plan? Maybe a week... What if he's in the hospital or had a death in the family? He's only human. I'm hoping he returns, as he has delivered in the past. you guys should chill a bit, give dev a chance. one week sounds reasonable.. just a reminder of latest update.

- new stealth wallet release in 5 to 7 hours
- on the next wallet release with torrents, node price will change to 1028 8BIT
- Nodes that will host torrents (optional) will get a fee for the service it's not free.
- MMO game will be free open source, but nodes hosting game servers (optional)will charge a fee.
- nodes that do not choose to host torrents or servers will only get reward from POS.
hey that is really cool thanks alot can you make the node price change in this wallet thats coming first? No that will require a fork, and since it will be our third, making it too close would upset the exchanges also I will need to make major changes on wallet when adding torrent seeding so a fork then makes more sense. The game only needs 1 server capable of hosting to run, not every node will be able to host a game server as it will depend on cpu power/space available/bandwidth, however torrent hosting is much more flexible and every node can get a portion of the fees. |

Yeah me too I think most people are waiting for the dev to tell us this information... Yeah..He said he'd be back in an hour over a day ago lol Starting to sink in yet, that I might of been right about this guy? Lol, you might have the last laugh on this one. I can admit when I'm wrong. I'm stuck though, just like the rest of the community. Going to have to ride this one out and hope for the best. i will be holding also and hope that dev delivers promised stuff. you know high risk high reward, never invest more than you can afford to lose.. and so on.. |

OK, so I took a break from looking at it but now am back again trying to figure out why I was not credited Blur for the Crave I burned using darkpoold (block 52061, hash 1a278074b96bc61f913c0df3afca88c5fd0771757e2f02b171adf9bc6553001d, address CDssAhibe5m4hx3yMyi5TuxrqrSDuJRwqk).
I noticed that someone else may have run into the exact same problem as me, though I do not see them posting here. Whoever burned 13.99994986 Crave from address BvEeWXL6qz3YXRmBQbbh25ri4uQudpD67H at block 53204 you did not get any Blur.
In looking at that I noticed that both that person and I did the same thing, we burned all the Crave we had at our address, no change. Every other burn that I see has change. So maybe the bug with darkpoold is that if the burn does not have change it does not get recognized?
So after even further digging my prior thought above is incorrect, the problem of my missing Blur is not because I burned all the Crave at that address. However I think I am narrowing in on the problem that has plagued my burn. I am not a programmer but Python is easy enough to read through and follow to get an idea of what is going on. When darkpoold tries to match a vout to an input it grabs the transaction id of the input and then looks back at that previous transaction that happened in an earlier block. But when it goes to figure out what address in the prior block matches that output it uses the same function for getting the address as it does for the vout. This function requires asm to have 5 elements and if it does not it rejects it. In most cases this has been true so it processes fine. Unfortunately for my burn, block 52061, darkpoold looks at the first input and gets the transaction id for that, b03b0fe5b13cf3f506b52027876dbfde089a7a84e3cd49167ae5679df1f0bcf0. It then looks at that transaction which is for block 49674 and tries to match an output from that block to an input in the burn block, 52061. It finds the correct match, the 3rd vout in that transaction. After this it then tries to find what address that vout went to. However the get_address function calls the get_pubkeyhash that expects the asm to have 5 elements but my vout from that block, block 49674, only has 2 elements. So it rejects that and does not report my address so the burn fails. It looks like when getting addresses for the vin's in a burn block it should not have the same requirements as the vout for the burn block. darkpoold controls the vout format of the block but it does not control how all the transactions that came in are formatted. This has been quite a learning experience but I think I am getting close to why my 520 Crave burn was not recognized by the network. The good news is if I am correct if darkpoold gets patched then my Blur should show up if the database is rebuilt. interesting information, thank you for sharing. hope u get your BLUR back. btw. around 400 Blocks until burn period finishes around 10hours to go... |

POS Masternodes are close to being finished it can be released within 48 hours but it will be released on Tuesday alongside the Ultimate Marketplace on Clearnet followed by Darknet Marketplace
I am getting some messages on more details for the marketplace so will provide a brief description of how it works and why we believe this will revolutionize Marketplaces online
Agents
To become a agent you'l need to have 250 UTLE Coins (Escrow Coins)
Role of agent
a arbitrator/guarantor for a sale on marketplace
Moderate listing which breach rules
Answer Site Users queries
In return agents will be paid 3.75% of the 5% fee of every sale so $100 sale each agent receives 1.25% = $1.25
there will be 3 agents on any one transaction so if a dispute is escalated three agents will decide unanimously the outcome.
as payment will be in escrow it can be released early by requesting agents to release it
if they cannot decide, a additional agent can be requested and fees will be divided accordingly
Now of course it can be argued that by having a open registration and just requirement of 250 coins this can lead to scams but these coins are escrowed and a agent cannot withdraw them until all cases have been resolved. There should be no active cases pending decision on their account and with a 24hour waiting time to process withdrawal.
The fee is paid regardless if there is a dispute for the transaction or even if the transaction is a success. This will encourage to weed out the scams so eventually legitimate problems are resolved as who doesn't like free money.
how it works (summary)
seller list item with option where they give buyer 10 agents to select from of which 3 need to be selected
buyer can choose whoever they like so if a seller selects agents with poor feedback then less likely it will be sold.
payment is made if there is a dispute it will be escalated to agents which will decide. if its a smooth transaction happy days agents receive there fee for no work at all.
agents with good feedback will be selected by buyers so a smooth transaction puts 1.25% in your pocket for doing nothing.
Now Why?
We believe this will change online selling massively. rather than making it easy for someone to create a marketplace for themselves buyers/sellers require only one thing from a marketplace is security for their transaction to trade easily and to be able to get fair solutions to problems.
Anyone who has traded on amazon/Ebay must be aware of how they make decisions with their business in mind. Any decision made is in interest of their profits so many times buyers and sellers are out of pocket as the law is used to assess the case which is taken advantage of. Offering agents to solve problems give solutions common sense so no scammer can use law and tricks which leave organizations with their hands tied to give in.
This is why a community run marketplace is the future and to ensure agents are not playing up safeguards are in place so any agents attempting to scam incur losses. The promise of great earnings for agents ensures they do their job properly
This is our vision and rather than we run it ourselves we let you take part and have a slice.

Plus those who held onto their earnings are even more rewarded. There will be far less dumping into the market, only experienced, or at least wealthy people will own masternodes. (which makes the network stronger) I love the idea of decentralized masternodes, but if there is little incentive to own one then why waste your time. 1028 8Bit to run one will cause such tremendous inflation that everyone will want one!
look crave, don't need 1028 crave to make masternode, and look the price to? why not just 500 8bit, to? This coin needs to be noticeable. Making the coin similar to all of the other coins wont work. 1028 will make this coin clearly noticeable. The price of Crave is tiny, imagine if 1 8Bit was worth 0.1 BTC or even 1 BTC. oh yes imagine, imagine... imagine if crave was worth 0.1 BTC or even 1 BTC imagine if sling was worth 0.1 BTC or even 1 BTC imagine... don't imagine, be real man... Look at DASH. What do you think they would be worth if their supply was only 150k? I hope you have right, but I think its to much 1028... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm guessing that the only people upset by this are those who will no longer be able to run a masternode. Would you guys rather own a masternode worth nothing? Everyone's coins will be worth more, meaning everyone wins in this situation. thats wht i hope two, anyway what dev decides i am down with it. increasing masternode requirement atm will only be beneficial i agree. |

You guys need to take a step back and realize whats going on here. Dev is making the change as quick as possible because inflation of everyone running cheap Masternodes is killing the price. 1028 8Bit per Masternode will make it 9.17X more expensive to inflate the 8Bit coin supply, which is a good thing. Early Masternode adopters at 112 8BIT are the ones that killed the market. The ones in here screaming 1028 8BIT per Masternode is too much are the ones that dumped on us, and they dont mind continuing to do that as you can see. The price has decreased 10% a day for the last 4 days, and you want it to continue? How does that even make sense to you guys? Sounds like the dev is making the smart move before I dump my 10K 8BIT and make it touch 1 sat. Either he does that, or I'm saying goodbye. I'm so upset the dev even let 112 8Bit be the Masternode price in the first place. Now we will be on the 3rd fork and the dev knows he is about to piss off the exchanges...when that happens the exchanges will dump and call it for delisting. So what the dev is doing is making it a little on the high side, because he knows the exchanges wont go for another fork after this. Set it high now and forget about it... Thats my 2 cents...
